كتاب في علوم القرآن، يشرح معاني الألفاظ الغريبة الواردة في القرآن الكريم، مبتدئًا بذكر أسماء الله الحسنى وصفاته واشتقاقها، ثم ينتقل إلى تفسير الألفاظ التي كثر تردادها في الكتاب، متبعًا ترتيب السور من الفاتحة إلى سورة الشعراء. يهدف المؤلف إلى الاختصار والإيضاح، مستنبطًا مادته من كتب المفسرين وأهل اللغة، متجنبًا الإطالة في النحو والحديث والأسانيد، ونابذًا التأويل المنكر والتفسير الموضوع.
Translation
A book on the sciences of the Qur’an, explaining the meanings of strange words mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, beginning with mentioning the Most Beautiful Names and Attributes of God and their derivation, then moving on to interpreting the words that are frequently repeated in the book, following the order of the surahs from Al-Fatihah to Surat Al-Shu’ara’. The author aims at brevity and clarification, drawing his material from the books of commentators and linguists, avoiding lengthy grammar, hadith, and chains of transmission, and rejecting objectionable interpretation and fabricated interpretation.
