Fayd al-Mu’in on collecting the forty in the virtue of the clear Qur’an was written by: Ali bin Sultan al-Harawi al-Qari, known as Mulla Ali al-Qari, a Hanafi jurist. He was born in Herat, lived in Mecca, and died there in the year 1014 AH - 1606 AD. He wrote many books. Topics of the book: The book talks about the virtues of the Qur’an, and the virtues of those who read the Qur’an, and he referred to that in his book. One of the features of this book is that it extracts the hadiths from their original sources with the wording that matches the source, and does not alter them. It makes judgments on the hadith when necessary, and explains some issues by way of brevity.
