لباب النقول في أسباب النزول هو كتاب من تأليف جلال الدين السيوطي (849 هـ/1445 م- 911 هـ/1505 م)، في باب أسباب نزول آيات القرآن. يُعتبر هذا الكتاب من أهم ما أُلِّف في باب أسباب النزول، ويتميَّز على كتاب أسباب النزول للواحدي بالاختصار، والزيادات عليه، وعزو كل حديث إلى من خرَّجه من أصحاب الكتب المعتبرة، وتمييز الصحيح من غيره، والمقبول من المردود، والجمع بين الروايات المتعددة، وتنحية ما ليس من أسباب النزول.
Translation
Lubab al-Naqul fi Asbab al-Nazul is a book written by Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti (849 AH/1445 AD - 911 AH/1505 AD), in the chapter on the reasons for the revelation of verses of the Qur’an. This book is considered one of the most important books written in the section on the causes of revelation, and it is distinguished from Al-Wahidi’s book “The Causes of Revelation” by its brevity, additions to it, attributing each hadith to those who narrated it from among the authors of respected books, distinguishing the authentic from others, and what is accepted from what is rejected, combining multiple narrations, and setting aside what is not among the causes of revelation.
