هذا كتاب معجمي مختص بمصطلحات علم القراءات القرآنية، جمع فيه المؤلف المصطلحات ورتبها على حروف المعجم من الألف إلى الياء، معتمداً في تعريفها على عرف علماء القراءات فقط، ومستبعداً ما لا يختص بهذا العلم إلا ما كثر استعماله في مصادره. وقد حرص على تعريف المصطلح بدقة ووضوح دون إطالة، مع ذكر معانيه المتعددة عند اختلاف سياق استعماله، مرتبة حسب الشهرة والاستعمال.

Translation

This is a dictionary book specialized in the terminology of the science of Quranic recitations, in which the author collected the terms and arranged them according to the letters of the dictionary from A to Z, relying in defining them on the custom of Quranic scholars only, and excluding what is not specific to this science except what is frequently used in its sources. He was careful to define the term accurately and clearly without prolonging it, while mentioning its multiple meanings when the context of its use differs, arranged according to popularity and usage.
