Translation
This book by Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi deals with the subject of invoking Al-Shafi’i in jurisprudence and its principles, and reviews the views of scholars on Al-Shafi’i’s narration of the hadith and the acceptance of his hadiths by Al-Bukhari and others. The author focuses on discussing the objections of some scholars to Al-Shafi’i and answers them, indicating his scientific and jurisprudential status among the imams. The book falls within the scope of the principles of jurisprudence and jurisprudential rules and aims to clarify the authority of Al-Shafi’i’s statements and correct any doubts that may arise around them.
