This book deals with the theory of the objectives of jurisprudence according to Imam Al-Shatibi, reviewing its historical origins and its development throughout the ages. Author Ahmed Al-Raisuni focuses on the importance of the Maqasid theory in understanding the goals and objectives of Sharia law, and points out the necessity of moving the Muslim mind from focusing on particulars to paying attention to generalities and general objectives.
