Hadith 14,907Musnad Ahmad
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍقَالَ دَبَبْتُ إِلَى قِدْرٍ وَهِيَ تَغْلِي فَأَدْخَلْتُ يَدِي فِيهَا فَاحْتَرَقَتْ أَوْ قَالَ فَوَرِمَتْ يَدِي فَذَهَبَتْ بِي أُمِّي إِلَى رَجُلٍ كَانَ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ فَقَالَ شَيْئًا وَنَفَثَ فَلَمَّا كَانَ فِي إِمْرَةِ عُثْمَانَ قُلْتُ لِأُمِّي مَنْ كَانَ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلُ قَالَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Ibrahim bin Abi Al-Abbas narrated to us, he said, Sharik narrated to us, on the authority of Samak bin Harb, on the authority of Muhammad bin Hatib, who said: I looked at a pot while it was boiling. So I put my hand in it, and it burned, or he said, my hand swelled, so my mother took me to a man who was in Batha, and he said something and blew, so when he was in command Othman I said to my mother who was that man? She said the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حَكِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِيأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ دَعُوا النَّاسَ يُصِيبُ بَعْضُهُمْ مِنْ بَعْضٍ فَإِذَا اسْتَنْصَحَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ فَلْيَنْصَحْهُ
Abd al-Samad narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Ata’ bin al-Sa’ib narrated to us, he said: Hakim bin Abi Yazid narrated to me, on the authority of his father, he said: narrated to me, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Leave the people to follow one another’s advice. If one of you seeks advice from his brother, let him advise him.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْحُوَيْرِثِ حَفْصٌ مِنْ وَلَدِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْلَى بْنِ كَعْبٍ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ كَرْدَمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهَا كَرْدَمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَأَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نَذْرٍ نُذِرَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلِوَثَنٍ أَوْ لِنُصُبٍ قَالَ لَا وَلَكِنْ لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى قَالَ فَأَوْفِ لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى مَا جَعَلْتَ لَهُ انْحَرْ عَلَى بُوَانَةَ وَأَوْفِ بِنَذْرِكَ
Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Abu al-Huwaith narrated to me, Hafs from the descendants of Uthman bin Abi al-Aas, he said, Abdullah bin Abd al-Rahman bin Ya`la narrated to me. Bin Ka'b, on the authority of Maimuna bint Kardam, on the authority of her father, Kardam bin Sufyan, that he asked the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, about a vow made in Pre-Islamic times, and the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to him: “For an idol or a accusative thing.” He said, “No, but for God, Blessed and Most High.” And exalted is that which You have appointed for him. Sacrifice at Bwanah and fulfill your vow.
Hadith 14,910Musnad Ahmad
حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ فَضَاءٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَنَهَى نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تُكْسَرَ سِكَّةُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ الْجَائِزَةُ بَيْنَهُمْ إِلَّا مِنْ بَأْسٍ
Mu'tamar bin Sulayman told us, he said: I heard Muhammad bin Fada'a narrating on the authority of his father, on the authority of Alqamah bin Abdullah, on the authority of his father. He said: The Prophet of God forbade May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, that the path of Muslims that is permissible between them may not be broken unless it is necessary.

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ فَحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ الْفَزَارِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلِيطٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَبِي سَلِيطٍ قَالَأَتَانَا نَهْيُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْإِنْسِيَّةِ وَالْقُدُورُ تَفُورُ بِهَا فَكَفَأْنَاهَا عَلَى وُجُوهِهَا
Ya'qub told us, he said, my father told me, on the authority of Ibn Ishaq, he said, Abdullah bin Amr bin Damra Al-Fazari told me, on the authority of Abdullah bin Abi Salit, on the authority of his father, Abu Salit, who said: “We have come to us the prohibition of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, about eating the flesh of female donkeys and pots that boil over with it.” So He sufficed for it on its faces

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ وَسَمِعْتُ أَنَا مِنْ ابْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ ضَمُرَةَ الْفَزَارِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلِيطٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَبِي سَلِيطٍ وَكَانَ بَدْرِيًّا قَالَأَتَانَا نَهْيُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ وَنَحْنُ بِخَيْبَرَ فَكَفَأْنَاهَا وَإِنَّا لَجِيَاعٌ
Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Abi Shaybah told us, Abdullah said, and I heard from Ibn Abi Shaybah, he said, Abdullah bin Numayr told us on the authority of Muhammad bin Ishaq, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr bin Damrah Al-Fazari, on the authority of Abdullah bin Abi Salit, on the authority of his father, Abi Salit, who was Badr. He said, “The Messenger of God’s prohibition, may God bless him and grant him peace, about the meat of donkeys came to us while we were in Khaybar, and it was sufficient for us, even though we were hungry.”

حَدَّثَنَا سَيَّارُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْعَنَزِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ خَنْبَشٍ التَّمِيمِيِّ وَكَانَ كَبِيرًاأَدْرَكْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ قُلْتُ كَيْفَ صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةَ كَادَتْهُ الشَّيَاطِينُ فَقَالَ إِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ تَحَدَّرَتْ تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ الْأَوْدِيَةِ وَالشِّعَابِ وَفِيهِمْ شَيْطَانٌ بِيَدِهِ شُعْلَةُ نَارٍ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُحْرِقَ بِهَا وَجْهَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَهَبَطَ إِلَيْهِ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ قُلْ قَالَ مَا أَقُولُ قَالَ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَذَرَأَ وَبَرَأَ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَنْزِلُ مِنْ السَّمَاءِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتَنِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ طَارِقٍ إِلَّا طَارِقًا يَطْرُقُ بِخَيْرٍ يَا رَحْمَنُ قَالَ فَطَفِئَتْ نَارُهُمْ وَهَزَمَهُمْ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى
Sayyar bin Hatim Abu Salamah Al-Anazi told us, he said, Ja’far, meaning Ibn Sulaiman, told us, he said, Abu Al-Tayyah told us, he said, I said to Abd al-Rahman. Ibn Khanbash Al-Tamimi, and he was a great man. I met the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said, “Yes.” He said, “How did the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, do it?” The night the devils came upon him, and he said that the devils descended on the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, from the valleys and reefs, and among them were Satan had a torch of fire in his hand with which he wanted to burn the face of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, so Gabriel, peace be upon him, came down to him and said, Muhammad, Say, What I say, He said, Say, I seek refuge in the perfect words of God from the evil of what He created, procreated, and created, and from the evil of what descends from the sky, and from the evil of what ascends. Therein and from the evil of the temptations of the night and the day and from the evil of every one who knocks except one who knocks with goodness, O Most Merciful. He said, so their fire was extinguished and God defeated them. Blessed and Most High

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ قَالَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ خَنْبَشٍكَيْفَ صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ كَادَتْهُ الشَّيَاطِينُ قَالَ جَاءَتْ الشَّيَاطِينُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ الْأَوْدِيَةِ وَتَحَدَّرَتْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ الْجِبَالِ وَفِيهِمْ شَيْطَانٌ مَعَهُ شُعْلَةٌ مِنْ نَارٍ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُحْرِقَ بِهَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَرُعِبَ قَالَ جَعْفَرٌ أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ جَعَلَ يَتَأَخَّرُ قَالَ وَجَاءَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ قُلْ قَالَ مَا أَقُولُ قَالَ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ الَّتِي لَا يُجَاوِزُهُنَّ بَرٌّ وَلَا فَاجِرٌ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَذَرَأَ وَبَرَأَ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَنْزِلُ مِنْ السَّمَاءِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا ذَرَأَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتَنِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ طَارِقٍ إِلَّا طَارِقًا يَطْرُقُ بِخَيْرٍ يَا رَحْمَنُ فَطَفِئَتْ نَارُ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَهَزَمَهُمْ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ
Affan narrated to us, Ja’far bin Sulaiman narrated to us, Abu Al-Tayyah narrated to us, he said: A man asked Abd al-Rahman bin Khunbash about what the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did. When the devils approached him, he said: The devils came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, from the valleys and descended upon him from The mountains, and among them was a devil who had a torch of fire with which he wanted to burn the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said, and he was terrified. Ja’far said, “I count it.” He said, “He made a delay.” He said, “And Gabriel, peace be upon him, came and said, ‘O Muhammad, say.’ He said, ‘What I say.’ He said, ‘Say, I seek refuge in the perfect words of God, which are not Neither the righteous nor the immoral will pass over them, from the evil of what He created, spread, and acquitted, and from the evil of what descends from the sky, and from the evil of what ascends therein, and from the evil of what He spreads in The earth and from the evil of what comes out of it and from the evil of the temptations of night and day and from the evil of every one who knocks except one who knocks with goodness, O Most Merciful. So the fire was extinguished. The devils and God Almighty defeated them

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الدَّارِيُّ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْخٌ أَدْرَكَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةَ وَنَحْنُ فِي غَزْوَةِ رُودِسَ يُقَالُ لَهُ ابْنُ عَبْسٍ قَالَكُنْتُ أَسُوقُ لِآلٍ لَنَا بَقَرَةً قَالَ فَسَمِعْتُ مِنْ جَوْفِهَا آلَ ذَرِيحْ قَوْلٌ فَصِيحْ رَجُلٌ يَصِيحْ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ قَالَ فَقَدِمْنَا مَكَّةَ فَوَجَدْنَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ خَرَجَ
Muhammad bin Bakr told us, Ubayd Allah bin Abi Ziyad told us, he said: Abdullah bin Kathir al-Dari told us, on the authority of Mujahid, he said: A sheikh told us. The era of pre-Islamic times came and we were in the battle of Rhodes. He was called Ibn Abbas. He said, “I was driving a cow to a family of ours.” He said, “Then I heard from its depths the family of Dhurayh.” An eloquent statement, a man who shouted that there is no god but Allah. He said, “So we arrived at Mecca and found that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, had come out.”
Hadith 14,916Musnad Ahmad
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ قَالَسَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ تَخْرُجُ رِيحٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ السَّاعَةِ تُقْبَضُ فِيهَا أَرْوَاحُ كُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ
Abdul Razzaq told us, he said: Muammar told us, on the authority of Ayyub, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ayyash ibn Abi Rabi’ah, who said: I heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He says, “A wind will come out before the Hour, during which the souls of every believer will be taken.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ أَبِي وَدَاعَةَ قَالَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَجَدَ فِي النَّجْمِ وَسَجَدَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُقَالَ الْمُطَّلِبُ وَلَمْ أَسْجُدْ مَعَهُمْ وَهُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُشْرِكٌ فَقَالَ الْمُطَّلِبُ فَلَا أَدَعُ السُّجُودَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا
Abd al-Razzaq told us, Muammar told us, on the authority of Ibn Tawus, on the authority of Ikrimah bin Khalid, on the authority of al-Muttalib bin Abi Wada’ah, who said: I saw the Messenger of God May God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He prostrated in an-Najm, and the people prostrated with al-Muttalib, but I did not prostrate with them, and he was a polytheist on that day. So al-Muttalib said, “So I will not pray.” Prostrating in it forever

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحٌ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي وَدَاعَةَ السَّهْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَقَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَكَّةَ سُورَةَ النَّجْمِ فَسَجَدَ وَسَجَدَ مَنْ عِنْدَهُفَرَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي وَأَبَيْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ أَسْلَمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمُطَّلِبُ وَكَانَ بَعْدُ لَا يَسْمَعُ أَحَدًا قَرَأَهَا إِلَّا سَجَدَ
Ibrahim bin Khaled told us, Rabah told us, on the authority of Muammar, on the authority of Ibn Tawus, on the authority of Ikrimah bin Khalid, on the authority of Ja’far bin Abi Wada’ah. Al-Sahmi, on the authority of his father, said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, recited Surat An-Najm in Mecca, and he prostrated, and those near him prostrated, so I raised my head and refused to He prostrated, but Al-Muttalib did not submit to Islam on that day, and he had not yet heard anyone recite it without prostrating.

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُجَمِّعَ ابْنَ جَارِيَةَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَ الدَّجَّالَ فَقَالَ يَقْتُلُهُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ بِبَابِ لُدٍّ
Sufyan bin Uyaynah told us, Al-Zuhri told us, on the authority of Abdullah bin Ubaid Allah bin Tha’labah, on the authority of Abdul Rahman bin Yazid, he said: I heard Ibn Jariyah’s consensus is that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, mentioned the Antichrist and said, “The son of Maryam will kill him at the gate of Lod.”

حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنَ ثَعْلَبَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ مِنْ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَمِّي مُجَمِّعَ ابْنَ جَارِيَةَ يَقُولُسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يَقْتُلُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ الْمَسِيحَ الدَّجَّالَ بِبَابِ لُدٍّ
Hashim bin Al-Qasim told us, he said, Laith told us, meaning Ibn Saad, he said, Ibn Shihab told us, that he heard Ubayd Allah bin Thalabah Al-Ansari. He narrates on the authority of Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid al-Ansari from Banu Amr ibn Awf saying: I heard my uncle Mujamma Ibn Jariyah saying: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, says: The son of Mary will kill the Antichrist at the gate of Lydda.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَمِّهِ مُجَمِّعٍ قَالَسَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يَقْتُلُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ الْمَسِيحَ الدَّجَّالَ بِبَابِ لُدٍّ
Muhammad bin Musab told us, he said: Al-Awza’i told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Ubayd Allah bin Tha’labah, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Yazid, on the authority of his uncle. He unanimously said: I heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: The son of Mary, the Antichrist, will be killed at the gate of Lydda.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُجَمِّعُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَمِّهِ مُجَمِّعِ ابْنِ جَارِيَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّوَكَانَ أَحَدَ الْقُرَّاءِ الَّذِينَ قَرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ قَالَ شَهِدْنَا الْحُدَيْبِيَةَ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفْنَا عَنْهَا إِذَا النَّاسُ يُنْفِرُونَ الْأَبَاعِرَ فَقَالَ النَّاسُ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ مَا لِلنَّاسِ قَالُوا أُوحِيَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخَرَجْنَا مَعَ النَّاسِ نُوجِفُ حَتَّى وَجَدْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ عِنْدَ كُرَاعِ الْغَمِيمِ وَاجْتَمَعَ النَّاسُ إِلَيْهِ فَقَرَأَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًا مُبِينًا فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَفَتْحٌ هُوَ قَالَ أَيْ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ إِنَّهُ لَفَتْحٌ فَقُسِمَتْ خَيْبَرُ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ لَمْ يُدْخِلْ مَعَهُمْ فِيهَا أَحَدًا إِلَّا مَنْ شَهِدَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةَ فَقَسَمَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى ثَمَانِيَةَ عَشَرَ سَهْمًا وَكَانَ الْجَيْشُ أَلْفًا وَخَمْسَ مِائَةٍ فِيهِمْ ثَلَاثُ مِائَةِ فَارِسٍ فَأَعْطَى الْفَارِسَ سَهْمَيْنِ وَأَعْطَى الرَّاجِلَ سَهْمًا
Ishaq bin Issa told us, he said, Muja’ bin Yaqoub told us, he said, I heard my father saying, on the authority of his uncle Abdul Rahman bin Yazid, on the authority of his uncle Muja’ Ibn Jariyah Al-Ansariyya, who was one of the reciters who recited the Qur’an, said: “We witnessed Al-Hudaybiyyah, but when we left it, behold, the people were fleeing.” The camels, and the people said to one another, “What is for the people?” They said, “It was revealed to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, so we went out with the people and drove around until we found The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was on his mount at the edge of the clouds, and the people gathered towards him, and he recited to them: Indeed, We have given you a clear opening, and he said A man from the companions of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, that is, the Messenger of God, and he conquered. He said, that is, by the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, he conquered and it was divided. Khaybar to the people of Hudaybiyyah. No one entered with them except those who witnessed Hudaybiyyah. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, divided it among Eighteen arrows, and the army was one thousand five hundred, including three hundred knights. So he gave the knight two arrows and he gave the man one arrow.

حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُرَحْبِيلٌ عَنْ جَبَّارِ بْنِ صَخْرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ أَحَدِ بَنِي سَلِمَةَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ بِطَرِيقِ مَكَّةَ مَنْ يَسْبِقُنَا إِلَى الْأُثَايَةِ قَالَ أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ هُوَ حَيْثُ نَفَّرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَيَمْدُرَ حَوْضَهَا وَيَفْرِطَ فِيهِ فَيَمْلَأَهُ حَتَّى نَأْتِيَهُ قَالَ قَالَ جَبَّارٌ فَقُمْتُ فَقُلْتُ أَنَا قَالَ اذْهَبْ فَذَهَبْتُ فَأَتَيْتُ الْأُثَايَةَ فَمَدَرْتُ حَوْضَهَا وَفَرَطْتُ فِيهِ وَمَلَأْتُهُ ثُمَّ غَلَبَتْنِي عَيْنَايَ فَنِمْتُ فَمَا انْتَبَهْتُ إِلَّا بِرَجُلٍ تُنَازِعُهُ رَاحِلَتُهُ إِلَى الْمَاءِ وَيَكُفُّهَا عَنْهُ فَقَالَ يَا صَاحِبَ الْحَوْضِ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَأَوْرَدَ رَاحِلَتَهُ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ فَأَنَاخَ ثُمَّ قَالَ اتْبَعْنِي بِالْإِدَاوَةِ فَتَبِعْتُهُ بِهَا فَتَوَضَّأَ وَأَحْسَنَ وُضُوءَهُ وَتَوَضَّأْتُ مَعَهُ ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي فَقُمْتُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي فَحَوَّلَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ فَصَلَّيْنَا فَلَمْ يَلْبَثْ يَسِيرًا أَنْ جَاءَ النَّاسُ
Husayn bin Muhammad narrated to us, Abu Uwais narrated to us, Shurahbil narrated to us, on the authority of Jabbar bin Sakhr Al-Ansari, one of the Banu Salamah, the Messenger said: May God’s prayers and peace be upon him. While he was on the road to Mecca, who would precede us to Al-Athayya? Abu Uwais said: This is where the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, sent us away. He, may God bless him and grant him peace, fills it until we come to him. He said, “A mighty man,” so I stood up and said, “I will.” He said, “Go,” so I went. So I came to the Uthayyat and I turned around its basin and poured it over and filled it, then my eyes fell asleep and I did not notice anything but a man struggling with his saddle to go to... The water and he stops it from it, and he said, O owner of the basin, and behold, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. I said, Yes. He said, so he brought his mount back, then he departed. So he groaned, then said, “Follow me with the remedy,” so I followed him with it, and he performed ablution and did his ablution well, and I performed ablution with him, then he stood up to pray, and I stood up. He went to his left, then he took my hand and turned me to his right. We prayed, and it was not long before people came.

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي خُزَامَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرَأَيْتَ دَوَاءً نَتَدَاوَى بِهِ وَرُقًى نَسْتَرْقِي بِهَا وَتُقًى نَتَّقِيهَا أَتَرُدُّ مِنْ قَدَرِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى شَيْئًا قَالَ إِنَّهَا مِنْ قَدَرِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى
Sufyan bin Uyaynah told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Ibn Abi Khuzama, on the authority of his father. I said, O Messenger of God, and Sufyan said, “Once, I asked the Messenger of God God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. Have you seen a medicine with which we can seek treatment, an incantation with which we can seek protection, and piety with which we can protect ourselves? Do you reject anything from the decree of God, Blessed and Most High? He said that it is the decree of God, Blessed and Most High.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي خِزَامَةَ أَحَدِ بَنِي الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أَبِيهِأَنَّهُ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ دَوَاءً نَتَدَاوَى بِهِ وَرُقًى نَسْتَرْقِي بِهَا وَتُقًى نَتَّقِيهَا هَلْ تَرُدُّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ قَدَرِ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ قَدَرِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى
Ali bin Ayyash told us, Baqiya bin Al-Walid told us, on the authority of Al-Zubaidi Muhammad bin Al-Walid, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Ibn Abi Khuzama, one of the sons of Al-Harith on the authority of his father that he came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said, O Messenger of God, have you seen a medicine with which we can seek treatment and a ruqyah with which we can seek relief? And be pious, we will be pious. Would you reject this from the decree of God? He said, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “This is from the decree of God, Blessed and Most High.”
