قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَعَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَقْطَعُ الصَّلَاةَ الْمَرْأَةُ وَالْكَلْبُ وَالْحِمَارُ

He said: Muhammad bin Ja’far and Abd al-Ala told us, they said: Sa’id told us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of al-Hasan, on the authority of Abdullah bin Mughaffal, that the Messenger of God May God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He said: A woman, a dog, and a donkey interrupt prayer.

قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ تَبِعَ جِنَازَةً حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهَا فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ وَمَنْ انْتَظَرَهَا حَتَّى يُفْرَغَ مِنْهَا فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ

He said, Abu Al-Nadr told us, he said, Al-Mubarak told us, on the authority of Al-Hasan, on the authority of Abdullah bin Mughaffal, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Who He follows a funeral until the funeral prayer is performed over it, he gets a qirat, and whoever waits for it until it is completed, he gets two qirats.

قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَزْهَرَ قَالَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَخَلَّلُ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ يَسْأَلُ عَنْ مَنْزِلِ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ فَأُتِيَ بِسَكْرَانَ فَأَمَرَ مَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ أَنْ يَضْرِبُوهُ بِمَا كَانَ فِي أَيْدِيهِمْ

He said: Zayd bin Al-Hubab told us, he said: Usama bin Zayd told me, he said: Al-Zuhri told me, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Azhar, he said: I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. May God bless him and grant him peace. He was interfering with the people on the day of Hunayn, asking about the house of Khalid ibn al-Walid. He brought a drunk man and ordered those who were with him to go. They hit him with whatever was in their hands

قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ أَزْهَرَ يَقُولُرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَزَاةَ يَوْمِ الْفَتْحِ وَأَنَا غُلَامٌ شَابٌّ يَتَخَلَّلُ النَّاسَ يَسْأَلُ عَنْ مَنْزِلِ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ فَأُتِيَ بِشَارِبٍ فَأَمَرَهُمْ فَضَرَبُوهُ بِمَا فِي أَيْدِيهِمْ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ ضَرَبَهُ بِعَصًا وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ ضَرَبَهُ بِسَوْطٍ وَحَثَى عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ التُّرَابَ

He said: Uthman bin Umar told us, he said: Usama bin Zayd told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, that he heard Abd al-Rahman bin Azhar say: I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. May God bless him and grant him peace. They invaded on the day of the conquest, and I was a young boy who was interfering with people asking about the house of Khalid ibn al-Walid. A mustache was brought. So he ordered them to hit him with whatever they had in their hands. Some of them hit him with a stick and some of them hit him with a whip. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, urged against him. And he handed over the dust

قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ وَكَانَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْأَزْهَرِ يُحَدِّثُأَنَّ خَالِدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ جُرِحَ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَكَانَ عَلَى الْخَيْلِ خَيْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ابْنُ الْأَزْهَرِ قَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَمَا هَزَمَ اللَّهُ الْكُفَّارَ وَرَجَعَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ إِلَى رِحَالِهِمْ يَمْشِي فِي الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَيَقُولُ مَنْ يَدُلُّ عَلَى رَحْلِ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ فَمَشَيْتُ أَوْ قَالَ فَسَعَيْتُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَأَنَا مُحْتَلِمٌ أَقُولُ مَنْ يَدُلُّ عَلَى رَحْلِ خَالِدٍ حَتَّى حَلَلْنَا عَلَى رَحْلِهِ فَإِذَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ مُسْتَنِدٌ إِلَى مُؤْخِرَةِ رَحْلِهِ فَأَتَاهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَظَرَ إِلَى جُرْحِهِ قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ وَحَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَنَفَثَ فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَآخِرُ مُسْنَدِ الْمَكِّيِّينَ وَالْمَدَنِيِّينَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُمْ

He said: Abd al-Razzaq told us on the authority of Muammar, on the authority of al-Zuhri. He said: Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Azhar was speaking to Khaled ibn al-Walid ibn al-Mughirah. He was wounded that day, and there were the horses of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. Ibn Al-Azhar said, “I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.” After God defeated the infidels and the Muslims returned to their camps, he walked among the Muslims and said, “Who can point to the departure of Khalid ibn al-Walid?” He said, “So I walked.” Or he said, “So I walked in front of him while I was wet, saying, ‘Who can indicate that Khalid has departed?’ until we arrived at his departure, and behold, Khalid ibn al-Walid was a supporter.” To the back of his journey, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to him and looked at his wound. Al-Zuhri said, “I thought he had said, and the Messenger blew on him.” May God’s prayers and peace be upon him. The last Musnad of the Meccans and Medina on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, may God Almighty be pleased with them.

قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبِي عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ وَحَدَّثَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ خَالِدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ أَخْبَرَهُأَنَّهُ دَخَلَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ وَهِيَ خَالَتُهُ فَقَدَّمَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَحْمَ ضَبٍّ جَاءَتْ بِهِ أُمُّ حُفَيْدٍ بِنْتُ الْحَارِثِ مِنْ نَجْدٍ وَكَانَتْ تَحْتَ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي جَعْفَرٍ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَأْكُلُ شَيْئًا حَتَّى يَعْلَمَ مَا هُوَ فَقَالَ بَعْضُ النِّسْوَةِ أَلَا تُخْبِرْنَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا يَأْكُلُ فَأَخْبَرْنَهُ أَنَّهُ لَحْمُ ضَبٍّ فَتَرَكَهُ فَقَالَ خَالِدٌ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَحَرَامٌ هُوَ قَالَ لَا وَلَكِنَّهُ طَعَامٌ لَيْسَ فِي قَوْمِي فَأَجِدُنِي أَعَافُهُ قَالَ خَالِدٌ فَاجْتَرَرْتُهُ إِلَيَّ فَأَكَلْتُهُ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْظُرُقَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ وَحَدَّثَهُ الْأَصَمُّ يَعْنِي يَزِيدَ بْنَ الْأَصَمِّ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ وَكَانَ فِي حَجْرِهَا

He said: Yaqoub bin Ibrahim told us, he said: My father told us, on the authority of Salih bin Kaysan, and Ibn Shihab told us, on the authority of Abu Umamah bin Sahl, on the authority of Ibn Abbas told him that Khaled bin Al-Walid told him that he had entered with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, to Maimuna bint Al-Harith, and she was His maternal aunt brought to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, the meat of a lizard that Umm Hufaid bint al-Harith had brought from Najd, and she was under a man from Bani Jafar. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, would not eat anything until he knew what it was. Some of the women said, “Don’t you tell the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace?” May God bless him and grant him peace, what he ate, and we told him that it was lizard meat. He left it, and Khaled said, I asked the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, what is forbidden? He said, “No, but it is a food that is not among my people, so I find myself abstaining from it.” Khaled said, “So I brought it back to me, and I ate it while the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.” It appears that Ibn Shihab said, and Al-Assam narrated to him, meaning Yazid bin Al-Assam, on the authority of Maimunah, and he was in her lap.

حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَخَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِأَنَّهُمَا دَخَلَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْتَ مَيْمُونَةَ فَأُتِيَ بِضَبٍّ مَحْنُوذٍ فَأَهْوَى إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ بَعْضُ النِّسْوَةِ أَخْبِرُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ فَقَالُوا هُوَ ضَبٌّ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَرَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَهُ فَقُلْتُ أَحَرَامٌ هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَا وَلَكِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ بِأَرْضِ قَوْمِي فَأَجِدُنِي أَعَافُهُ قَالَ خَالِدٌ فَاجْتَرَرْتُهُ فَأَكَلْتُهُ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْظُرُ

A soul narrated to us, Malik narrated to us, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Abu Umamah bin Sahl, on the authority of Abdullah bin Abbas and Khaled bin Al-Walid, that they They entered Maimunah's house with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and a mashed lizard was brought. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was drawn to it and said: Some women told the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, what he wanted to eat, and they said, “It is a lizard, O Messenger of God.” So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, raised it. May God grant him peace, so I said, “It is forbidden, O Messenger of God.” He said, “No, but it was not in the land of my people, so I find myself exempt from it.” Khalid said. So I regurgitated it and ate it while the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, looked on.

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَوَّامُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَكَانَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ كَلَامٌ فَأَغْلَظْتُ لَهُ فِي الْقَوْلِ فَانْطَلَقَ عَمَّارٌ يَشْكُونِي إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَاءَ خَالِدٌ وَهُوَ يَشْكُوهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَجَعَلَ يُغْلِظُ لَهُ وَلَا يَزِيدُ إِلَّا غِلْظَةً وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَاكِتٌ لَا يَتَكَلَّمُ فَبَكَى عَمَّارٌ وَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَا تَرَاهُ فَرَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأْسَهُ قَالَ مَنْ عَادَى عَمَّارًا عَادَاهُ اللَّهُ وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَ عَمَّارًا أَبْغَضَهُ اللَّهُقَالَ خَالِدٌ فَخَرَجْتُ فَمَا كَانَ شَيْءٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ رِضَا عَمَّارٍ فَلَقِيتُهُ فَرَضِيَ قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ أَبِي مَرَّتَيْنِ

Yazid bin Harun told us, Al-Awwam bin Hawshab told us, on the authority of Salamah bin Kuhayl, on the authority of Alqamah, on the authority of Khalid bin Al-Walid, they said, “They were between me.” And Ammar bin Yasser talked, so I spoke harshly to him, so Ammar went off to complain about me to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and Khaled came and was complaining about him. To the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said, so he began to be harsh to him, but he only increased his harshness while the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was silent and did not speak, so Ammar cried. And he said, O Messenger of God, do you not see him? Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, raised his head and said: Whoever is hostile to Ammar, God will be hostile to him, and whoever hates Ammar “God hates him,” said Khaled, “so I went out, and there was nothing dearer to me than the satisfaction of Ammar, so I met him and pleased me.” Abdullah said, “I heard it from my father twice.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو أُمَامَةَ بْنُ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ خَالِدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ الَّذِي يُقَالُ لَهُ سَيْفُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَهُأَنَّهُ دَخَلَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهِيَ خَالَتُهُ وَخَالَةُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَوَجَدَ عِنْدَهَا ضَبًّا مَحْنُوذًا قَدِمَتْ بِهِ أُخْتُهَا حُفَيْدَةُ بِنْتُ الْحَارِثِ مِنْ نَجْدٍ فَقَدَّمَتْ الضَّبَّ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَانَ قَلَّمَا يُقَدِّمُ يَدَهُ لِطَعَامٍ حَتَّى يُحَدَّثَ بِهِ وَيُسَمَّى لَهُ فَأَهْوَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَهُ إِلَى الضَّبِّ فَقَالَتْ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ النِّسْوَةِ الْحُضُورِ أَخْبِرْنَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا قَدَّمْتُنَّ إِلَيْهِ قُلْنَ هُوَ الضَّبُّ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَرَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَهُ عَنْ الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ أَحَرَامٌ الضَّبُّ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَا وَلَكِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ بِأَرْضِ قَوْمِي فَأَجِدُنِي أَعَافُهُ قَالَ خَالِدٌ فَاجْتَرَرْتُهُ فَأَكَلْتُهُ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيَّ فَلَمْ يَنْهَنِي

Attab told us, Abdullah told us, meaning Ibn Al-Mubarak, Yunus told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hanif told me. Al-Ansari said that Ibn Abbas told him that Khalid bin Al-Walid, who is called Sayf Allah, told him that he had entered with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He greeted Maimuna, the wife of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, who was his paternal aunt and the paternal aunt of Ibn Abbas. He found with her a preserved lizard that she presented with. Her sister, Hafidah Bint Al-Harith, is from Najd. She presented lizards to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he rarely put his hand to food until he was told about it. And it is called for him. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, put his hand toward the lizard, and one of the women present said, “Inform the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.” May God bless him and grant him peace. What you brought to him, say, “It is the lizard, O Messenger of God.” Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, raised his hand from the lizard, and Khalid bin Al-Walid said. The lizard is forbidden, O Messenger of God. He said, “No,” but it was not in the land of my people, so I find myself abstaining from it. Khalid said, “So I chewed it and ate it while the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him.” May God bless him and grant him peace. He looks at me and does not forbid me.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ يَعْنِي الْأَبْرَشَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ عَنْ صَالِحٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْمِقْدَامِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ قَالَغَزَوْنَا مَعَ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ الصَّائِفَةَ فَقَرِمَ أَصْحَابُنَا إِلَى اللَّحْمِ فَسَأَلُونِي فَقَالُوا أَتَأْذَنُ لَنَا أَنْ نَذْبَحَ رَمْكَةً لَهُ فَدَفَعْتُهَا إِلَيْهِمْ فَحَبَلُوهَا ثُمَّ قُلْتُ مَكَانَكُمْ حَتَّى آتِيَ خَالِدًا فَأَسْأَلَهُ قَالَ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَقَالَ غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَزْوَةَ خَيْبَرَ فَأَسْرَعَ النَّاسُ فِي حَظَائِرِ يَهُودَ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُنَادِيَ الصَّلَاةُ جَامِعَةٌ وَلَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا مُسْلِمٌ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّكُمْ قَدْ أَسْرَعْتُمْ فِي حَظَائِرِ يَهُودَ أَلَا لَا تَحِلُّ أَمْوَالُ الْمُعَاهَدِينَ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَا وَحَرَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ لُحُومُ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ وَخَيْلِهَا وَبِغَالِهَا وَكُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنْ السِّبَاعِ وَكُلِّ ذِي مِخْلَبٍ مِنْ الطَّيْرِ

Ahmad bin Abdul Malik told us, Muhammad bin Harb told us, meaning Al-Abrash, he said, Sulayman bin Sulaym Abu Salamah told us, on the authority of Salih, meaning Ibn Yahya bin Al-Miqdam, on the authority of his grandfather, Al-Miqdam bin Maadi Karib. They and Khaled bin Al-Walid invaded Saifah, so our companions settled in Meat, so they asked me, and they said, “Do you give us permission to slaughter a lamb for him?” So I handed it to them, and they conceived it, then I said, “Stay where you are until I come immortal.” So he asked him, he said, so I came to him and asked him, and he said, “We attacked with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, the Battle of Khaybar, and the people hurried into the Jewish pens.” So he commanded me to call for a comprehensive prayer and that no one will enter Paradise except a Muslim. Then he said, “O people, you have hastened into the pens of the Jews. Is it not permissible?” The property of the parties to the treaty should be given only as it is due, and forbidden to you is the meat of wild donkeys, their horses, their mules, any wild animal with fangs, and any animal with claws. حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْحِمْصِيُّ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْمِقْدَامِ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمِقْدَامِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ قَالَغَزَوْتُ مَعَ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ الصَّائِفَةَ فَقَرِمَ أَصْحَابِي إِلَى اللَّحْمِ فَقَالُوا أَتَأْذَنُ لَنَا أَنْ نَذْبَحَ رَمْكَةً لَهُ قَالَ فَحَبَلُوهَا فَقُلْتُ مَكَانَكُمْ حَتَّى آتِيَ خَالِدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ فَأَسْأَلَهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ خَبَرَ أَصْحَابِي فَقَالَ غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَزْوَةَ خَيْبَرَ فَأَسْرَعَ النَّاسُ فِي حَظَائِرِ يَهُودَ فَقَالَ يَا خَالِدُ نَادِ فِي النَّاسِ أَنَّ الصَّلَاةَ جَامِعَةٌ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا مُسْلِمٌ فَفَعَلْتُ فَقَامَ فِي النَّاسِ فَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ مَا بَالُكُمْ أَسْرَعْتُمْ فِي حَظَائِرِ يَهُودَ أَلَا لَا تَحِلُّ أَمْوَالُ الْمُعَاهَدِينَ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَا وَحَرَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ حُمُرُ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ وَالْإِنْسِيَّةِ وَخَيْلُهَا وَبِغَالُهَا وَكُلُّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنْ السِّبَاعِ وَكُلُّ ذِي مِخْلَبٍ مِنْ الطَّيْرِ

He said, “Then they pregnant it, so I said, ‘Stay where you are until I come to Khalid ibn al-Walid and ask him about that.’” So I went to him. So I told him the news of my companions, and he said, I fought with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, the Battle of Khaybar, and the people hurried into Jewish enclosures, and he said, Khaled called out to the people that the prayer is comprehensive, and only a Muslim will enter Paradise. So I did so, and he stood up among the people and said, “O people, why are you so hasty?” Jewish stables: The property of the covenants is not permissible except according to what is due to it, and forbidden to you are the donkeys of the people, the females, their horses, their mules, and all that A fang of wild beasts and every bird with a claw.

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ قَالَتَنَاوَلَ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ رَجُلًا بِشَيْءٍ فَنَهَاهُ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ فَقَالَ أَغْضَبْتَ الْأَمِيرَ فَأَتَاهُ فَقَالَ إِنِّي لَمْ أُرِدْ أَنْ أُغْضِبَكَ وَلَكِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَشَدُّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا لِلنَّاسِ فِي الدُّنْيَا

Sufyan bin Uyaynah told us, on the authority of Amr bin Dinar, on the authority of Abu Najih, on the authority of Khalid bin Hakim bin Hazzam, who said: Abu Ubaidah ate a man With something, Khalid bin Al-Walid forbade him and said, “You have made the prince angry.” He came to him and said, “I did not want to make you angry, but I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.” He, peace and blessings be upon him, said that the people who will be most tormented on the Day of Resurrection will be the ones who will be most tormented in this world.

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَزْرَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بنِ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَكَتَبَ إِلَيَّ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حِينَ أَلْقَى الشَّامَ بَوَانِيَةً بَثْنِيَةً وَعَسَلًا وَشَكَّ عَفَّانُ مَرَّةً قَالَ حِينَ أَلْقَى الشَّامَ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَسِيرَ إِلَى الْهِنْدِ وَالْهِنْدُ فِي أَنْفُسِنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ الْبَصْرَةُ قَالَ وَأَنَا لِذَلِكَ كَارِهٌ قَالَ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ لِي يَا أَبَا سُلَيْمَانَ اتَّقِ اللَّهَ فَإِنَّ الْفِتَنَ قَدْ ظَهَرَتْ قَالَ فَقَالَ وَابْنُ الْخَطَّابِ حَيٌّ إِنَّمَا تَكُونُ بَعْدَهُ وَالنَّاسُ بِذِي بِلِّيَانَ وَذِي بِلِّيَانَ بِمَكَانِ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَيَنْظُرُ الرَّجُلُ فَيَتَفَكَّرُ هَلْ يَجِدُ مَكَانًا لَمْ يَنْزِلْ بِهِ مِثْلُ مَا نَزَلَ بِمَكَانِهِ الَّذِي هُوَ فِيهِ مِنْ الْفِتْنَةِ وَالشَّرِّ فَلَا يَجِدُهُ قَالَ وَتِلْكَ الْأَيَّامُ الَّتِي ذَكَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّامُ الْهَرْجِ فَنَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ أَنْ تُدْرِكَنَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ تِلْكَ الْأَيَّامُ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْأَشْتَرِ قَالَكَانَ بَيْنَ عَمَّارٍ وَبَيْنَ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ كَلَامٌ فَشَكَاهُ عَمَّارٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّهُ مَنْ يُعَادِ عَمَّارًا يُعَادِهِ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَمَنْ يُبْغِضْهُ يُبْغِضْهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَمَنْ يَسُبَّهُ يَسُبَّهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّفَقَالَ سَلَمَةُ هَذَا أَوْ نَحْوَهُ

Muhammad ibn Ja`far narrated to us, Shu`bah narrated to us, on the authority of Salamah ibn Kuhayl, he said: I heard Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman speaking on the authority of Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid, on the authority of Al-Ashtar, said: There was a discussion between Ammar and Khalid bin Al-Walid, and Ammar complained about it to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Messenger of God said: May God’s prayers and peace be upon him. Indeed, whoever is hostile to Ammar, God Almighty will be hostile to him. And whoever hates him, God Almighty will hate him. And whoever reviles him, God will curse him. `Izz and Jalaf, and Salamah said this or something similar.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ وَخَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يُخَمِّسْ السَّلَبَ

Abu Al-Mughirah narrated to us, Safwan bin Amr narrated to us, he said, Abdul Rahman bin Jubayr bin Nufayr narrated to me, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Awf bin Malik. حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجُعْفِيُّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَاسْتَعْمَلَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ بْنَ الْجَرَّاحِ عَلَى الشَّامِ وَعَزَلَ خَالِدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ فَقَالَ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بُعِثَ عَلَيْكُمْ أَمِينُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ أَمِينُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ أَبُو عُبَيْدةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ قَالَ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ خَالِدٌ سَيْفٌ مِنْ سُيُوفِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَنِعْمَ فَتَى الْعَشِيرَةِ

Hussein bin Ali Al-Jufi’i told us on the authority of Zaida, on the authority of Abd Al-Malik bin Umair, who said: Umar bin Al-Khattab used Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah on the Levant and deposed Khalid bin Al-Walid. He said, so Khaled bin Al-Walid said: The Secretary of this nation has been sent to you. I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. The trustee of this nation, Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah, says: Abu Ubaidah said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: Khaled is a sword of swords. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيزٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ صُلَيْحٍ عَنْ ذِي مِخْمَرٍ وَكَانَ رَجُلًا مِنْ الْحَبَشَةِ يَخْدُمُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَكُنَّا مَعَهُ فِي سَفَرٍ فَأَسْرَعَ السَّيْرَ حِينَ انْصَرَفَ وَكَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ لِقِلَّةِ الزَّادِ فَقَالَ لَهُ قَائِلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَدْ انْقَطَعَ النَّاسُ وَرَاءَكَ فَحَبَسَ وَحَبَسَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ حَتَّى تَكَامَلُوا إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ هَلْ لَكُمْ أَنْ نَهْجَعَ هَجْعَةً أَوْ قَالَ لَهُ قَائِلٌ فَنَزَلَ وَنَزَلُوا فَقَالَ مَنْ يَكْلَؤُنَا اللَّيْلَةَ فَقُلْتُ أَنَا جَعَلَنِي اللَّهُ فِدَاءَكَ فَأَعْطَانِي خِطَامَ نَاقَتِهِ فَقَالَ هَاكَ لَا تَكُونُنَّ لُكَعَ قَالَ فَأَخَذْتُ بِخِطَامِ نَاقَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبِخِطَامِ نَاقَتِي فَتَنَحَّيْتُ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ فَخَلَّيْتُ سَبِيلَهُمَا يَرْعَيَانِ فَإِنِّي كَذَاكَ أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمَا حَتَّى أَخَذَنِي النَّوْمُ فَلَمْ أَشْعُرْ بِشَيْءٍ حَتَّى وَجَدْتُ حَرَّ الشَّمْسِ عَلَى وَجْهِي فَاسْتَيْقَظْتُ فَنَظَرْتُ يَمِينًا وَشِمَالًا فَإِذَا أَنَا بِالرَّاحِلَتَيْنِ مِنِّي غَيْرُ بَعِيدٍ فَأَخَذْتُ بِخِطَامِ نَاقَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبِخِطَامِ نَاقَتِي فَأَتَيْتُ أَدْنَى الْقَوْمِ فَأَيْقَظْتُهُ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ أَصَلَّيْتُمْ قَالَ لَا فَأَيْقَظَ النَّاسُ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا حَتَّى اسْتَيْقَظَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا بِلَالُ هَلْ لِي فِي الْمِيضَأَةِ يَعْنِي الْإِدَاوَةَ قَالَ نَعَمْ جَعَلَنِي اللَّهُ فِدَاءَكَ فَأَتَاهُ بِوَضُوءٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ لَمْ يَلُتَّ مِنْهُ التُّرَابَ فَأَمَرَ بِلَالًا فَأَذَّنَ ثُمَّ قَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَصَلَّى الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ وَهُوَ غَيْرُ عَجِلٍ ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ فَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ فَصَلَّى وَهُوَ غَيْرُ عَجِلٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ قَائِلٌ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ أَفْرَطْنَا قَالَ لَا قَبَضَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَرْوَاحَنَا وَقَدْ رَدَّهَا إِلَيْنَا وَقَدْ صَلَّيْنَا

Abu Al-Nadr narrated to us, Hariz narrated to us, on the authority of Yazid bin Sulayh, on the authority of Dhu Mikhmar, and he was a man from Abyssinia who served the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. We told him that we were on a journey with him, so he walked quickly when he left, and he did that for lack of provisions. Someone said to him, “O Messenger of God, the people have become cut off after you.” So he remained imprisoned, and the people remained imprisoned with him until they came to him, and he said to them, “Do you want us to lie down for a while?” or someone said to him, so he descended and they descended, and he said, “Who?” They would eat us tonight, so I said, “May God let me be your ransom.” So he gave me the reins of his camel and said, “There you go, don’t be a fool.” He said, so I took the reins. The she-camel of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the muzzles of my she-camel, so I stepped aside not far away and made their way to graze, and that is how I look at them. Until sleep overtook me, and I did not feel anything until I found the heat of the sun on my face, so I woke up and looked right and left, and I saw the two parts of my body. Not far away, I took the muzzle of the camel of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the muzzle of my she-camel, so I came to the nearest of the people and woke him up and said to him: Have you prayed? He said, “No.” So the people woke up one another until the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, woke up and said, “O Bilal, may I have a bath in the watering place,” meaning the watering room? He said Yes, may God make me your ransom, so he brought him an ablution and he performed his ablution. The dust did not get wet from him, so he commanded Bilal and he called the call to prayer. Then the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, stood up and prayed. He performed the two rak'ahs before dawn, and he was not in a hurry. Then he commanded him and he established the prayer, and he prayed, but he was not in a hurry. Someone said to him, O Prophet of God, have we neglected? He said, No. God Almighty took our souls and returned them to us, and we prayed.

حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ ذِي مِخْمَرٍ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ سَتُصَالِحُكُمْ الرُّومُ صُلْحًا آمِنًا ثُمَّ تَغْزُونَ وَهُمْ عَدُوًّا فَتُنْصَرُونَ وَتَسْلَمُونَ وَتَغْنَمُونَ ثُمَّ تَنْصُرُونَ الرُّومَ حَتَّى تَنْزِلُوا بِمَرْجٍ ذِي تُلُولٍ فَيَرْفَعُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ النَّصْرَانِيَّةِ صَلِيبًا فَيَقُولُ غَلَبَ الصَّلِيبُ فَيَغْضَبُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَيَقُومُ إِلَيْهِ فَيَدُقُّهُ فَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ يَغْدِرُ الرُّومُ وَيَجْمَعُونَ لِلْمَلْحَمَةِ

A spirit narrated to us, Al-Awza’i told us, on the authority of Hassan bin Atiyya, on the authority of Khalid bin Ma’dan, on the authority of Dhu Mikhmar, a man from the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, saying: The Romans will make peace with you in a secure settlement, then you will attack while they are an enemy, and you will be victorious. And you surrender and take spoils, then you support the Romans until you camp in a hilly meadow. Then a Christian man raises a cross and says, “The cross has conquered,” and he becomes angry. A Muslim man goes up to him and strikes him. Then the Romans depart and gather for battle.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ هُوَ الْقُرْقُسَائِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ ذِي مِخْمَرٍعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ تُصَالِحُونَ الرُّومَ صُلْحًا آمِنًا وَتَغْزُونَ أَنْتُمْ وَهُمْ عَدُوًّا مِنْ وَرَائِهِمْ فَتَسْلَمُونَ وَتَغْنَمُونَ ثُمَّ تَنْزِلُونَ بِمَرْجٍ ذِي تُلُولٍ فَيَقُومُ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الرُّومِ فَيَرْفَعُ الصَّلِيبَ وَيَقُولُ أَلَا غَلَبَ الصَّلِيبُ فَيَقُومُ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَيَقْتُلُهُ فَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ تَغْدِرُ الرُّومُ وَتَكُونُ الْمَلَاحِمُ فَيَجْتَمِعُونَ إِلَيْكُمْ فَيَأْتُونَكُمْ فِي ثَمَانِينَ غَايَةً مَعَ كُلِّ غَايَةٍ عَشْرَةُ آلَافٍ

He said: Al-Awza’i narrated to us, on the authority of Hassan bin Atiya, on the authority of Khalid bin Ma’dan, on the authority of Jubayr bin Nafir on the authority of Dhu Mikhmar, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, who said: You will make peace with the Romans in a secure peace, and you and they will attack an enemy behind them and you will be delivered. And you will take spoils, then you will camp in a hilly meadow, and a man from the Romans will rise up to him and raise the cross and say, “Did not the cross prevail?” then a man from the Romans will rise up to him.
