Sunan Ad-Darimi

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي الْحَائِضِ تَسْمَعُ السَّجْدَةَ قَالَ لَا تَقْضِي

Muhammad ibn Yusuf informed us, Sufyan informed us, on the authority of Mughirah, on the authority of Ibrahim, during a menstruating woman, she heard the prostration. He said, “Do not make up for it.”

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ وَجَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهَا شَيْءٌ

Sa'id bin Amir and Ja'far bin Aoun told us, on the authority of Sa'id, on the authority of Abu Ma'shar, on the authority of Ibrahim. He said, "There is nothing wrong with her."

أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدَةُ بْنُ مُعَتِّبٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كُنَّا نَحِيضُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَا يَأْمُرُ امْرَأَةً مِنَّا بِرَدِّ الصَّلَاةِ

Ya’la told us, Ubaidah bin Uttib told us, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Al-Aswad, on the authority of Aisha, who said: We used to menstruate with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He, peace and blessings be upon him, does not command any of our women to return the prayer.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً سَأَلَتْ عَائِشَةَ أَتَقْضِي إِحْدَانَا صَلَاةَ أَيَّامِ حَيْضِهَا فَقَالَتْ أَحَرُورِيَّةٌ أَنْتِ قَدْ كَانَتْ إِحْدَانَا تَحِيضُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَا تُؤْمَرُ بِقَضَاءٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكِ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ قَالَ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ كَأَنَّ حَمَّادًا فَرِقَ حَدِيثَ أَيُّوبَ فَجَاءَ بِهَذَا

Abu al-Nu`man told us, Hammad told us, on the authority of Ayyub, on the authority of Abu Qilaba, on the authority of Mu’adh, that a woman asked Aisha, “Would one of us perform a prayer?” The days of her menstruation, and Ahruriyya said, “One of us was menstruating during the time of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, so you should not be ordered to make up for it.” Abu al-Nu`man told us, Hammad told us, on the authority of Yazid al-Rashk, on the authority of Muadha. Abu al-Nu`man said, as if Hammad separated the hadith of Ayyub and brought this

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ عَامِرٍ قَالَ إِذَا سَمِعَتْ الْحَائِضُ السَّجْدَةَ فَلَا تَسْجُدْ

Amr ibn Aoun informed us, on the authority of Khalid ibn Abdullah, on the authority of Ata’ ibn al-Sa’ib, on the authority of Amir, who said: If a menstruating woman hears the prostration, then do not You prostrate

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ قَالَ لَا تَسْجُدُ الْمَرْأَةُ الْحَائِضُ إِذَا سَمِعَتْ السَّجْدَةَ

Amr ibn Aoun told us on the authority of Khalid ibn Abdullah, on the authority of Khalid al-Hadha, on the authority of Abu Qalaba, who said: A menstruating woman should not prostrate when she I heard the prostration

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ خَالِدٍ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ لِلْحَائِضِ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ إِذَا سَمِعَتْ السَّجْدَةَ

Amr ibn Aoun informed us, on the authority of Khalid, on the authority of Al-Hasan ibn Ubayd Allah, on the authority of Ibrahim, that he disliked for a menstruating woman to prostrate if she heard Prostration

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أَتَتْ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ فَقَالَتْ أَقْضِي مَا تَرَكْتُ مِنْ صَلَوَاتِي فِي الْحَيْضِ عِنْدَ الطُّهْرِ فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ أَحَرُورِيَّةٌ أَنْتِ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكَانَتْ إِحْدَانَا تَحِيضُ وَتَطْهُرُ فَلَا يَأْمُرُنَا بِالْقَضَاءِ

Amr bin Aoun told us, Khaled told us, on the authority of Laith, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin al-Qasim, on the authority of his father, he said: A woman came to Aisha. She said, “I should complete the prayers that I had left during menstruation when I become pure.” Aisha said, “Are you a Hurriyah?” We were with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. One of us was menstruating and purifying herself, but he did not order us to make up for it.

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ كَثِيرٍ أَبِي إِسْمَعِيلَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِفَاطِمَةَ يَعْنِي بِنْتَ عَلِيٍّ أَتَقْضِينَ صَلَاةَ أَيَّامِ حَيْضِكِ قَالَتْ لَا

Ishaq bin Issa told us, Sharik told us on many authority, Abu Ismail said: I said to Fatima, meaning the daughter of Ali, do you perform the prayers on the days of your menstruation? She said: No

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ الْحَائِضُ وَالْجُنُبُ يَذْكُرَانِ اللَّهَ وَيُسَمِّيَانِ

Muhammad ibn Yusuf informed us, Sufyan informed us, on the authority of Mughirah, on the authority of Ibrahim, who said: The menstruating woman and the one who is in a state of impurity remember Allah and say His names.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ بَلَغَنِي عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ أَنَّهُمَا قَالَا لَا يَقْرَأْ الْجُنُبُ وَالْحَائِضُ آيَةً تَامَّةً يَقْرَأَانِ الْحَرْفَ

Muhammad ibn Yusuf informed us, Sufyan informed us, he said, I was informed on the authority of Ibrahim and Sa`id ibn Jubayr that they said that a woman in a state of sexual impurity or a menstruating woman should not be recited. A complete verse, they recite the letter

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْبَزَّازُ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ فِرَاسٍ عَنْ عَامِرٍ الْجُنُبُ وَالْحَائِضُ لَا يَقْرَأَانِ الْقُرْآنَ

Muhammad bin Yazid Al-Bazzaz told us, Sharik told us, on the authority of Firas, on the authority of Amer, who is in a state of sexual impurity and a menstruating woman does not recite the Qur’an.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ كَانَ عُمَرُ يَكْرَهُ أَوْ يَنْهَى أَنْ يَقْرَأَ الْجُنُبُ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَجَدْتُ فِي الْكِتَابِ وَالْحَائِضُ

Abu Al-Walid told us, Shu'bah told us, Al-Hakam told us, on the authority of Ibrahim, he said: Omar disliked or forbade reciting junub. He said A division found in the book and menstruating women

أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ عَنْ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتَوَائِيِّ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَرْبَعَةٌ لَا يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ عِنْدَ الْخَلَاءِ وَفِي الْحَمَّامِ وَالْجُنُبُ وَالْحَائِضُ إِلَّا الْآيَةَ وَنَحْوَهَا لِلْجُنُبِ وَالْحَائِضِ

Yazid ibn Harun informed us, on the authority of Hisham al-Dastawi, on the authority of Hammad, on the authority of Ibrahim, who said: Four people do not recite the Qur’an in private and in private. The dove, a woman in a state of sexual impurity, and a menstruating woman, except for the verse and the like regarding a woman in a state of sexual impurity or a menstruating woman.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ وَحَمَّادٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَالُوا الْحَائِضُ وَالْجُنُبُ يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ الْآيَةَ وَلَا يُتِمُّونَ آخِرَهَا

Abdullah bin Saeed told us, Abu Khaled Al-Ahmar told us, on the authority of Hajjaj, on the authority of Ata’ and Hammad, on the authority of Ibrahim and Saeed bin Jubayr, they said: The menstruating woman and the woman in a state of impurity begin the verse and do not complete the end of it.

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى وَأَبُو نُعَيْمٍ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا السَّائِبُ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ كَانَتْ تَرْقِي أَسْمَاءَ وَهِيَ عَارِكٌ

Ubayd Allah ibn Musa and Abu Nu`aym told us, saying: Al-Sa'ib ibn Umar informed us, on the authority of Ibn Abi Mulaika, that Aisha used to promote the names of And it is shameful

أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ قَالَ الْجُنُبُ يَذْكُرُ اسْمَ اللَّهِ

Muslim told us, Hisham told us, Qatada told us, he said: A person in a state of impurity mentions the name of God.

أَخْبَرَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَيَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ قَالَ كَانَ يُقَالُ لَا يَقْرَأُ الْجُنُبُ وَلَا الْحَائِضُ وَلَا يُقْرَأُ فِي الْحَمَّامِ وَحَالَانِ لَا يَذْكُرُ الْعَبْدُ فِيهِمَا اللَّهَ عِنْدَ الْخَلَاءِ وَعِنْدَ الْجِمَاعِ إِلَّا أَنَّ الرَّجُلَ إِذَا أَتَى أَهْلَهُ بَدَأَ فَسَمَّى اللَّهَ

Sahl ibn Hammad told us, Shu`bah told us, on the authority of Sayyar, on the authority of Abu Wa’il, who said: “It was said that a woman in a state of sexual impurity or a menstruating woman should not be recited, nor should it be recited in The bathroom and there are two situations in which the servant does not mention God: when he is alone and during intercourse, except that when a man comes to his wife, he begins by calling God.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَطَّافٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أَرْبَعٌ لَا يَحْرُمْنَ عَلَى جُنُبٍ وَلَا حَائِضٍ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ سُئِلَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد عَبْد اللَّهِ يَقْرَأُ الْجُنُبُ آيَةً آيَةً قَالَ لَا يُعْجِبُنِي

Abdullah bin Saeed told us, Abu Usama told us, on the authority of Al-Jariri, on the authority of Abu Attaf, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: Four are not in ihram in a state of ritual impurity. Not a menstruating woman. Glory be to God, praise be to God, there is no god but God, and God is greatest. Abu Muhammad Abdullah was asked to recite the ritual impurity verse by verse. He said, “No.” I like it

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ صُبَيْحٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ الْحَائِضِ تَسْمَعُ السَّجْدَةَ قَالَ لَا تَسْجُدُ لِأَنَّهَا صَلَاةٌ

Ahmad bin Humaid told us, Abd al-Rahim bin Sulayman told us, Al-Hasan bin Ubayd Allah told us, on the authority of Muslim bin Subaih, on the authority of Ibn Abbas. He was asked about a menstruating woman listening to the prostration. He said: Do not prostrate because it is a prayer.
