Sunan Ad-Darimi

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَأَبِي الضُّحَى قَالَا لَا تَسْجُدُ

Ahmad ibn Humayd informed us, Hafs ibn Ghayath informed us, on the authority of Al-Hasan ibn Ubayd Allah, on the authority of Ibrahim and Abu Ad-Duha, who said, “Do not prostrate.”

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَا لَيْسَ عَلَيْهَا ذَاكَ الصَّلَاةُ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ

Ahmad ibn Humayd informed us, Ibn Numayr informed us, on the authority of Hajjaj, on the authority of Hammad, on the authority of Ibrahim and Sa`id ibn Jubayr, they said, “She is not required to perform that prayer.” Bigger than that

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ مُنِعَتْ خَيْرًا مِنْ ذَلِكَ الصَّلَاةَ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ

Ahmad bin Humaid told us, Ibn Al-Mubarak told us, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj, on the authority of Ata’, who said: “A better thing than that is forbidden, the obligatory prayer.”

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ لَا تَسْجُدُ

Ahmad bin Humaid told us, Ghandar told us, on the authority of Ash’ath, on the authority of Al-Hasan, he said, “Do not prostrate.”

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى الطُّهْرَ فَتَسْمَعُ السَّجْدَةَ قَالَ لَا تَسْجُدُ حَتَّى تَغْتَسِلَ

Ahmad told us, Ibn al-Mubarak told us, on the authority of Yunus, on the authority of al-Zuhri, regarding a woman who sees purity and hears the prostration. He said, “Do not prostrate until you have washed yourself.”

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَيْدٍ سَعِيدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ذَرًّا عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ مُهَانَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِلنِّسَاءِ تَصَدَّقْنَ فَإِنَّكُنَّ أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَقَالَتْ امْرَأَةٌ لَيْسَتْ مِنْ عِلْيَةِ النِّسَاءِ لِمَ أَوْ بِمَ أَوْ فِيمَ قَالَ إِنَّكُنَّ تُكْثِرْنَ اللَّعْنَ وَتَكْفُرْنَ الْعَشِيرَ قَالَ وَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ مَا مِنْ نَاقِصِي الدِّينِ وَالْعَقْلِ أَغْلَبَ لِلرِّجَالِ ذَوِي الْأَمْرِ عَلَى أَمْرِهِمْ مِنْ النِّسَاءِ قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ مَا نُقْصَانُ عَقْلِهَا قَالَ جُعِلَتْ شَهَادَةُ امْرَأَتَيْنِ بِشَهَادَةِ رَجُلٍ قَالَ سُئِلَ مَا نُقْصَانُ دِينِهَا قَالَ تَمْكُثُ كَذَا وَكَذَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ لَا تُصَلِّي لِلَّهِ صَلَاةً

Abu Zaid Saeed bin Al-Rabi’ told us, Shu’bah told us on the authority of Al-Hakam, he said: I heard Dhar on the authority of Wa’il bin Muhanna, on the authority of Abdullah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. May God bless him and grant him peace. He said to the women, “Give alms, for you are the majority of the people of Hell.” A woman who was not among the elite of women said, “Why, for what, or for what?” He said, “Indeed, you curse frequently and are ungrateful to your spouse.” He said, “Abdullah said, ‘There is no one deficient in religion and reason. Of the women, a man said to Abdullah, “What is the deficiency in her intelligence?” He said, “The testimony of two women is equal to the testimony of a man.” He said, “What is the deficiency in her religion?” He said: You will remain such-and-such for a day or a night, without praying a prayer to God.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ إِذَا طَهُرَتْ الْمَرْأَةُ مِنْ الْحَيْضِ فَلْتَتَّبِعْ ثَوْبَهَا الَّذِي يَلِي جِلْدَهَا فَلْتَغْسِلْ مَا أَصَابَهُ مِنْ الْأَذَى ثُمَّ تُصَلِّي فِيهِ

Muhammad bin Yusuf told us, Al-Awza’i told us, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin al-Qasim, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Aisha, who said, “When a woman becomes pure During menstruation, she should cover herself with the garment that follows her skin, and wash off any dirt that has befallen it, then pray in it.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ يَكُونُ لِإِحْدَانَا الدِّرْعُ فِيهِ تَحِيضُ وَفِيهِ تُجْنِبُ ثُمَّ تَرَى فِيهِ الْقَطْرَةَ مِنْ دَمِ حَيْضَتِهَا فَتَقْصَعُهُ بِرِيقِهَا

Muhammad bin Yusuf told us, Ibn Uyaynah told us, on the authority of Ibn Abi Najih, on the authority of Ata, on the authority of Aisha, who said: “One of us used to have a shield in it.” She menstruates and during it she avoids it, then she sees in it the drop of her menstrual blood and she wipes it off with her saliva.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ إِذَا غَسَلَتْ الْمَرْأَةُ الدَّمَ فَلَمْ يَذْهَبْ فَلْتُغَيِّرْهُ بِصُفْرَةِ وَرْسٍ أَوْ زَعْفَرَانٍ

Abu Al-Numan told us, Thabit bin Yazid told us, Asim told us, on the authority of Muadhath Al-Adawiya, on the authority of Aisha, who said: If a woman washes the blood If it does not go away, change it with yellow rose or saffron.

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ لَهَا امْرَأَةٌ الدَّمُ يَكُونُ فِي الثَّوْبِ فَأَغْسِلُهُ فَلَا يَذْهَبُ فَأُقَطِّعُهُ قَالَتْ الْمَاءُ طَهُورٌ

Saeed bin Al-Rabi’ told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Yazid Al-Rashk, he said: I heard Muadha Al-Adawiya on the authority of Aisha, a woman said to her: “Blood” It is on the garment, so I wash it and it does not go away, so I cut it off. She said, “The water is pure.”

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ صُبْحٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ خِلَاسَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ يَكُونُ مَعِي فِي الشِّعَارِ الْوَاحِدِ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ طَامِثٌ إِنْ أَصَابَهُ مِنِّي شَيْءٌ غَسَلَ مَا أَصَابَهُ لَمْ يَعْدُهُ إِلَى غَيْرِهِ وَصَلَّى فِيهِ ثُمَّ يَعُودُ وَإِنْ أَصَابَهُ مِنِّي شَيْءٌ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ غَسَلَ مَكَانَهُ لَمْ يَعْدُهُ إِلَى غَيْرِهِ وَصَلَّى فِيهِ

Abu Al-Walid Al-Tayalisi told us, Yahya bin Saeed Al-Qattan told us, Jabir bin Subh told us, he said, I heard Khalas bin Amr, he said, I heard Aisha says: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, Abu Al-Qasim, would be with me in the same ritual while I was menstruating and menstruating, if any of my semen happened to him. He washed off what had happened to him and did not return it to another place, and he prayed in it and then came back. And if any of my semen happened to him, he did the same. He washed its place and did not return it to He changed it and prayed in it

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ الْمَرْأَةُ الْحَائِضُ تُصَلِّي فِي ثِيَابِهَا الَّتِي تَحِيضُ فِيهَا إِلَّا أَنْ يُصِيبَ شَيْئًا مِنْهَا دَمٌ فَتَغْسِلَ مَوْضِعَ الدَّمِ

Ubayd Allah ibn Musa told us on the authority of Uthman, on the authority of Mujahid, who said: A menstruating woman prays in the clothes in which she menstruates, unless something happens. Some of it contains blood, so you wash the place of the blood

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَتْ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ دَمِ الْحَيْضِ يُصِيبُ الثَّوْبَ قَالَ حُتِّيهِ ثُمَّ رُشِّيهِ بِالْمَاءِ

Amr bin Aoun told us, Sufyan bin Uyaynah told us, on the authority of Hisham bin Urwa, on the authority of Fatima bint Al-Mundhir, on the authority of Asma bint Abi Bakr said, “I asked the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, about menstrual blood getting on the garment.” He said, “Wheat it, then sprinkle it with water.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ هُوَ ابْنُ زُرَيْعٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ هُوَ ابْنُ إِسْحَقَ حَدَّثَتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ امْرَأَةً تَسْأَلُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ثَوْبِهَا إِذَا طَهُرَتْ مِنْ مَحِيضِهَا كَيْفَ تَصْنَعُ بِهِ قَالَ إِنْ رَأَيْتِ فِيهِ دَمًا فَحُكِّيهِ ثُمَّ اقْرُصِيهِ بِمَاءٍ ثُمَّ انْضَحِي فِي سَائِرِهِ فَصَلِّي فِيهِ

Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Raqqashi told us: Yazid told us: He is Ibn Zuray’; Muhammad told us: He is Ibn Ishaq; Fatima bint Al-Mundhir told us: On the authority of Asma’ bint Abu Bakr, she said: I heard a woman asking the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, about her dress when she was cleansed from her menstruation. How do you do with it? He said: If you see blood on it, wipe it off, then pinch it with water, then sprinkle the rest of it and pray in it.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْحَدَّادِ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ دِينَارٍ مَوْلَى أُمِّ قَيْسٍ بِنْتِ مِحْصَنٍ عَنْ أُمِّ قَيْسٍ قَالَتْ سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ دَمِ الْحِيضَةِ يَكُونُ فِي الثَّوْبِ فَقَالَ اغْسِلِيهِ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَحُكِّيهِ بِضِلَعٍ

Abu Ubaid Al-Qasim bin Salam told us, Abdul Rahman bin Mahdi told us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Thabit Al-Haddad, on the authority of Adi bin Dinar, a servant Umm Qais bint Muhsin, on the authority of Umm Qais, said: I asked the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, about menstrual blood that was on the garment, and he said, “Wash it with water.” And a sider and a rib

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ كَرِيمَةَ قالَتْ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ وَسَأَلَتْهَا امْرَأَةٌ فَقَالَتْ الْمَرْأَةُ يُصِيبُ ثَوْبَهَا مِنْ دَمِ حِيضَتِهَا فَقَالَتْ لِتَغْسِلْهُ بِالْمَاءِ قَالَتْ فَإِنَّا نَغْسِلُهُ فَيَبْقَى أَثَرُهُ قَالَتْ إِنَّ الْمَاءَ طَهُورٌ

Saeed bin Al-Rabi’ told us on the authority of Ali bin Al-Mubarak, who said: I heard Karima say: I heard Aisha, and a woman asked her, and the woman said: Her dress was from the blood of her menstruation, so she said to wash it with water. She said, “We wash it, but traces of it remain.” She said, “The water is pure.”

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ الْجُنُبِ يَعْرَقُ فِي الثَّوْبِ ثُمَّ يَمْسَحُهُ بِهِ قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ

Abu Nuaym told us on the authority of Abdul Wahhab Al-Thaqafi on the authority of Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khathim. He said: I asked Saeed bin Jubayr about junub. He sweats on the garment and then wipes it with it. He said, “There is nothing wrong with it.”

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ لَا يَرَى بِعَرَقِ الْجُنُبِ فِي الثَّوْبِ بَأْسًا

Hajjaj bin Minhal told us, Hammad bin Salamah told us, on the authority of Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khathim, on the authority of Saeed bin Jubayr, that he did not see With the sweat of the side in the garment, there is no harm

أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ أَنَّهُ كَانَ لَا يَرَى بِهِ بَأْسًا

Hajjaj told us, Hammad told us, on the authority of Ata’ bin Al-Sa’ib, on the authority of Al-Sha’bi, that he saw no harm in it.

أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ مَا كُلُّ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانُوا يَجِدُونَ ثَوْبَيْنِ فَقَالَ إِذَا اغْتَسَلْتَ أَلَسْتَ تَلْبَسُهُ فَذَاكَ بِذَاكَ

Hajjaj told us, Hammad told us, on the authority of Humaid, on the authority of Al-Hasan. He said: All the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to find two garments. Then he said, “When Did you wash yourself? Didn't you wear it? This one with that one.
