Sunan Ad-Darimi

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَقَ عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ لَقَدْ عَرَضْتُ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ثَلَاثَ عَرَضَاتٍ أَقِفُ عِنْدَ كُلِّ آيَةٍ أَسْأَلُهُ فِيمَ أُنْزِلَتْ وَفِيمَ كَانَتْ فَقُلْتُ يَا ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ أَرَأَيْتَ قَوْلَ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى { فَإِذَا تَطَهَّرْنَ فَأْتُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَمَرَكُمْ اللَّهُ } قَالَ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَمَرَكُمْ أَنْ تَعْتَزِلُوهُنَّ

Al-Hakam bin Al-Mubarak informed us, Muhammad bin Salamah informed us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ishaq, on the authority of Aban bin Salih, on the authority of Mujahid, who said: I have presented The Qur’an was revealed to Ibn Abbas in three stages. I stopped at each verse and asked him about what it was revealed about and what it was about. So I said, “O Ibn Abbas, have you seen what God says?” God Almighty {Then when they have purified themselves, then go to them from where God has commanded you} He said: from where He commanded you to keep away from them.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ { فَأْتُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَمَرَكُمْ اللَّهُ } قَالَ أُمِرُوا أَنْ يَأْتُوا مِنْ حَيْثُ نُهُوا

Muhammad ibn Yusuf informed us: Sufyan informed us, on the authority of Uthman ibn al-Aswad, on the authority of Mujahid {Then come to them from wherever God has commanded you} He said: They were commanded to They come from where they intended

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْبَزَّازُ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ { وَتَذَرُونَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ } قَالَ هُوَ وَاللَّهِ الْقُبُلُ

Muhammad ibn Yazid al-Bazzaz informed us: Sharek informed us, on the authority of Ibrahim ibn Muhajir, on the authority of Mujahid: {And you shall leave behind what your Lord has created for you. Your wives} He said, “By God, that is the acceptance.”

أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ رَبَاحٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ { نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ } قَالَ إِنَّمَا هُوَ الْفَرْجُ

Othman bin Omar told us, Khalid bin Rabah told us, on the authority of Ikrimah: It is relief

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ { فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ } قَالَ ائْتِهَا مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهَا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهَا بَعْدَ أَنْ يَكُونَ فِي الْمَأْتَى

Amr ibn Aoun informed us, on the authority of Khalid ibn Abdullah, on the authority of Ata’ ibn al-Sa’ib, on the authority of Sa’id ibn Jubayr, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, {So go to your tillage. “However you wish.” He said, “Bring it to her from before her and behind her, after he was at the end.”

أَخْبَرَنَا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ كَانَ أَهْلُ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَصْنَعُونَ فِي الْحَائِضِ نَحْوًا مِنْ صَنِيعِ الْمَجُوسِ فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَزَلَتْ { وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنْ الْمَحِيضِ قُلْ هُوَ أَذًى فَاعْتَزِلُوا النِّسَاءَ فِي الْمَحِيضِ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوهُنَّ حَتَّى يَطْهُرْنَ } فَلَمْ يَزْدَدْ الْأَمْرُ فِيهِنَّ إِلَّا شِدَّةً

Khalifa bin Khayyat told us, Abdul Wahhab told us, Khaled told us, on the authority of Ikrimah, he said: The people of the pre-Islamic period used to do things to menstruating women. Something like the work of the Magians. This was mentioned to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and it was revealed {And they ask you about menstruation. Say, “It is harm, so stay away from women.” During her menstruation, and do not approach them until they are purified. So the matter did not increase for them except distress.

أَخْبَرَنَا خَلِيفَةُ حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ { قُلْ هُوَ أَذًى } قَالَ هُوَ الدَّمُ

Caliph told us, Mu’mal told us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Ibn Abi Najih, on the authority of Mujahid. {Say, “It is harm.” He said, “It is blood.”

أَخْبَرَنَا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ لَيْثًا حَدَّثَ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ { نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ } قَالَ إِنْ شِئْتَ فَاعْزِلْ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ فَلَا تَعْزِلْ

Khalifa bin Khayat told us, Al-Mu`tamir told us, he said: I heard Laith narrate on the authority of Issa bin Qays, on the authority of Saeed bin Al-Musayyab {Your women are your tillage. So come to your tillage wherever you wish.} He said, “If you wish, isolate yourself, and if you wish, do not isolate.”

أَخْبَرَنَا خَلِيفَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ عَنْ عَوْفٍ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ كَيْفَ شِئْتَ يَعْنِي إِتْيَانَهَا فِي الْفَرْجِ

Caliph told us, Abdul Wahhab told us, on the authority of Awf, on the authority of Al-Hasan, he said, “As you wish,” meaning intercourse with her in the private parts.

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ مَنْ أَتَى امْرَأَتَهُ فِي دُبُرِهَا فَهُوَ مِنْ الْمَرْأَةِ مِثْلُهُ مِنْ الرَّجُلِ ثُمَّ تَلَا { وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنْ الْمَحِيضِ قُلْ هُوَ أَذًى فَاعْتَزِلُوا النِّسَاءَ فِي الْمَحِيضِ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوهُنَّ حَتَّى يَطْهُرْنَ فَإِذَا تَطَهَّرْنَ فَأْتُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَمَرَكُمْ اللَّهُ } أَنْ تَعْتَزِلُوهُنَّ فِي الْمَحِيضِ الْفَرْجَ ثُمَّ تَلَا { نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ } قَائِمَةً وَقَاعِدَةً وَمُقْبِلَةً وَمُدْبِرَةً فِي الْفَرْجِ

Ubayd Allah ibn Musa told us on the authority of Uthman ibn al-Aswad, on the authority of Mujahid, who said: Whoever has intercourse with his wife in her anus is a woman like him. The man, then recited {And they ask you about menstruation. Say, “It is a harm; so keep away from women during menstruation, and do not approach them until they are cleansed.” Then when they are cleansed, So come to them from where God has commanded you, “that you should separate yourself from them during menstruation and chastity.” Then he recited, “Your women are a tillage for you, so come to your tillage wherever you wish.” standing, sitting, coming, and turning in the vagina

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ حَكِيمٍ الْأَثْرَمِ عَنْ أَبِي تَمِيمَةَ الْهُجَيْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ أَتَى حَائِضًا أَوْ امْرَأَةً فِي دُبُرِهَا أَوْ كَاهِنًا فَصَدَّقَهُ بِمَا يَقُولُ فَقَدْ كَفَرَ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ

Abu Nu`aym informed us, on the authority of Hammad ibn Salamah, on the authority of Hakim al-Athram, on the authority of Abu Tamimah al-Hujaimi, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said: Whoever has intercourse with a menstruating woman, or an anal woman, or a soothsayer, and believes what he says, has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الشَّقَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْقَعْقَاعِ الْجَرْمِيِّ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ آتِي امْرَأَتِي حَيْثُ شِئْتُ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ وَمِنْ أَيْنَ شِئْتُ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ وَكَيْفَ شِئْتُ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ إِنَّ هَذَا يُرِيدُ السُّوءَ قَالَ لَا مَحَاشُّ النِّسَاءِ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ سُئِلَ عَبْد اللَّهِ تَقُولُ بِهِ قَالَ نَعَمْ

Abu Nu`aym told us, Abu Hilal told us, on the authority of Abu Abdullah Al-Shaqri, on the authority of Abu Al-Qaqa’ Al-Jarmi, who said: A man came to Abdullah bin Masoud said, “O Abu Abdul Rahman, come to me with my wife wherever you want.” He said, “Yes.” He said, “And from where you want.” He said, “Yes.” He said, “And as you wish.” He said, “Yes,” and he said to him.” A man, O Abu Abd al-Rahman, this man wants evil. He said, “No, women are forbidden to you.” Abdullah was asked what you can say about him. He said, “Yes.”

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ عَنْ دَاوُدَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ إِتْيَانَ الرَّجُلِ امْرَأَتَهُ فِي دُبُرِهَا وَيَعِيبُهُ عَيْبًا شَدِيدًا

Abu Al-Numan told us, Wahib told us, on the authority of Dawud, on the authority of Ikrimah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, that he disliked a man having intercourse with his wife in It is his back and he is severely flawed

حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ { إِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الْفَاحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُمْ بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنْ الْعَالَمِينَ } قَالَ مَا نَزَى ذَكَرٌ عَلَى ذَكَرٍ حَتَّى كَانَ قَوْمُ لُوطٍ

Al-Mu'alla bin Asad narrated to us, Ismail bin Aliya narrated to us, Ibn Abi Najih narrated to us, on the authority of Amr bin Dinar, {Indeed, you commit indecency No one of the worlds has preceded you with it.

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ مُخَلَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ أَتَى امْرَأَتَهُ فِي دُبُرِهَا لَمْ يَنْظُرْ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

Ubayd Allah ibn Musa informed us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Suhail ibn Abi Salih, on the authority of Al-Harith ibn Mukhlid, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He said: Whoever has intercourse with his wife anally, God Almighty will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ حِطَّانَ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ الْحَنَفِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ طَلْقٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَحْدَثَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَلْيَنْصَرِفْ وَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَأْتُوا النِّسَاءَ فِي أَدْبَارِهِنَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي مِنْ الْحَقِّ سُئِلَ عَبْد اللَّهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ طَلْقٍ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ قَالَ نَعَمْ

Abdullah bin Yahya told us, Abdul Wahid bin Ziyad told us, on the authority of Asim Al-Ahwal, on the authority of Issa bin Hattan, on the authority of Muslim bin Salam. Al-Hanafi, on the authority of Ali bin Talq, said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: If one of you breaks the prayer during prayer, let him leave and perform ablution, then He prays, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Do not approach women in their backs, for God is not shy from the truth.” Abdullah Ali bin A divorced friend of his said yes

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي الْحَارِثُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَبِي الْحُبَابِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ مَا تَقُولُ فِي الْجَوَارِي حِينَ أُحَمِّضُ بِهِنَّ قَالَ وَمَا التَّحْمِيضُ فَذَكَرْتُ الدُّبُرَ فَقَالَ هَلْ يَفْعَلُ ذَاكَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

Abdullah bin Salih told us: Al-Layth told me, Al-Harith bin Yaqoub told me, on the authority of Sa’id bin Yasar Abi Al-Hubab, he said: I told Ibn Umar: What She says about the slave girls when I have menstruation with them. He said, “What is menstruation?” I mentioned the anus, and he said, “Does any of the Muslims do that?”

أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ حَدَّثَنَا خُصَيْفٌ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ كَانُوا يَجْتَنِبُونَ النِّسَاءَ فِي الْمَحِيضِ وَيَأْتُونَهُنَّ فِي أَدْبَارِهِنَّ فَسَأَلُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى { وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنْ الْمَحِيضِ قُلْ هُوَ أَذًى فَاعْتَزِلُوا النِّسَاءَ فِي الْمَحِيضِ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوهُنَّ حَتَّى يَطْهُرْنَ فَإِذَا تَطَهَّرْنَ فَأْتُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَمَرَكُمْ اللَّهُ } فِي الْفَرْجِ وَلَا تَعْدُوهُ

Al-Mu'alla bin Asad told us, Abdul-Wahid told us, Khasif told us, on the authority of Mujahid, who said: They used to avoid women during menstruation and have intercourse with them during They turned away and asked the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, about that, so God Almighty revealed {And they ask you about menstruation. Say, “It is harm.” So keep away from menstruating women, and do not approach them until they have been purified. Then when they have been purified, then go to them from where God has commanded you.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ إِسْحَقَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبَانُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ وَسَعِيدٍ وَمُجَاهِدٍ وَعَطَاءٍ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُنْكِرُونَ إِتْيَانَ النِّسَاءِ فِي أَدْبَارِهِنَّ وَيَقُولُونَ هُوَ الْكُفْرُ

Muhammad Ibn Yazid informed us, Yunus Ibn Bukayr informed us, Ibn Ishaq informed me, Aban Ibn Salih informed me, on the authority of Tawus, Sa`id, and Mujahid. Ata’ is that they used to deny having intercourse with women in their backs and said it is disbelief.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ لِامْرَأَتِهِ خَلِّلِي شَعْرَكِ بِالْمَاءِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَخَلَّلَهُ نَارٌ قَلِيلَةُ الْبُقْيَا عَلَيْهِ

Muhammad ibn Yusuf told us, Sharik told us, on the authority of Al-Amash, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Hudhayfah, who said to his wife, “Rinse your hair with water before A little fire broke out over it.
