Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، - وَهُوَ الأَعْرَجُ - عَنْ God willing الله عليه وسلم وَضَعَ الْجَوَائِحَ .. Having informed us [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Yazid], he said; has told us [Sufyan] from [Humaid namely Al A'raj] from [Sulaiman bin 'Atiq] from [Jabir] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam laid down some of his burdens because of a disaster that befell him (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4529.) 2nd hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you عليه وسلم " تَصَدَّقُوا عَلَيْهِ " . فَتَصَدَّقَ النَّاسُ عَلَيْهَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم "" وَجَدْتُمْ وَلَيْسَ لَكُمْ إِلاَّ ذَلِكَ " .. Having informed us [Qutaibah bin Sa'id], he said; has told us [Al Laits] from [Bukair] from ['Iyadh bin Abdullah] from [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri], he said; A man suffered a disaster at the time of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam regarding the fruit he bought, so his debt became large. Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Give charity to him." So people gave alms to him but couldn't pay off the debt. Then Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Take what you get and you have nothing other than that (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4530.) 3rd Hadith. God willing God willing عَتِيكٍ، - قَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ عَتِيكٌ بِالْكَافِ وَالصَّوَابُ عَتِيقٌ - عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ سِنِينَ .. Having informed us [Qutaibah bin Sa'id], he said; has told us [Sufyan] from [Humaid Al A'raj] from [Sulaiman bin 'Atik], he said; Qutaibah bin 'Atik with the letter kaf, the correct one is 'Atiq. From [Jabir] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he forbade selling fruit for the next few years (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4531.) 4th Hadith. Having informed us [Qutaibah bin Sa'id], he said; has told us [Sufyan] from [Az Zuhri] from [Salim] from [his father] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade selling fruit with dates. [Ibn Umar] said; has told me [Zaid bin Thabit] that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam gave relief in terms of 'araya (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4532.) 5th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادُ بْن7 God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. نَقَصَ فَعَلَىَّ .. Having informed us [Ziyad bin Ayyub], he said; has told us [Ibn 'Ulaiyah], he said; has told us [Ayyub] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] that Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prohibited muzabanah, and muzabanah is selling what is on the date palm tree with dates in a certain measure, he said; if it is more then it is for me and if it is less then it is my responsibility (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4533.) 6th Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing كَيْلاً .. It has been reported to us [Qutaibah] from [Malik] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] radiallahu 'anhuma that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade muzabanah, and muzabanah is selling dates with dates in a measure, and selling grapes with raisins in a measure (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4534.) 7th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وسلم عَنِ الْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ .. Having informed us [Qutaibah bin Sa'id], he said; has told us [Abu Al Ahwash] from [Thariq] from [Sa'id bin Al Musayyab] from [Rafi' bin Khadij], he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam prohibited muhaqalah and muzabanah (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4535.) 8th Hadith. God willing God willing قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرَايَا .. Having informed us [Qutaibah bin Sa'id], he said; has told us [Sufyan] from [Az Zuhri] from [Salim] from [his father], he said; has told me [Zaid bin Thabit] that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam gave relief in terms of 'araya (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4536.) 9th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing رَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرَايَا بِالتَّمْرِ وَالرُّطَبِ .. Has said [Al Harith bin Miskin] by reading the history, and I heard, from [Ibn Wahb], he said; had reported to me [Yunus] from [Ibn Shihab], he said; has told me [Kharijah bin Zaid bin Thabit] from [his father] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam gave relief in terms of buying date palm trees with date fruit or ruthab (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4537.) 10th Hadith. Allah's blessings يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing تُبَاعُ بِخِرْصِهَا .. Having informed us ['Ubaidullah bin Sa'id], he said; has told us [Yahya] from ['Ubaidullah], he said; has reported to me [Nafi'] from [Abdullah] from [Zaid bin Thabit] that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam gave relief in selling 'araya sold at his estimate (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4538.) 11th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. تَمْرًا .. Having informed us [Isa bin Hammad], he said; has told us [Al Laits] from [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar], he said; has told me [Zaid bin Thabit] that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam gave relief in selling 'araya with dates at an estimate (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4539.) 12th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing بَيْعِ الْعَرَايَا بِالرُّطَبِ وَبِالتَّمْرَ فِي غَيْرِ ذَلِكَ .. Having informed us [Abu Daud], he said; has told us [Ya'qub bin Ibrahim], he said; has told us [my father] from [Salih] from [Ibn Shihab] that [Salim] had informed him that he heard [Abdullah bin Umar] say; indeed [Zaid bin Thabit] had informed him that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam gave relief for selling date palm trees with ruthab and dates and did not give relief in cases other than that (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4540.) 13th Hadith. God willing إِبْرَاهِيمَ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing Allah's blessings أَوْسُقٍ أَوْ مَا دُونَ خَمْسَةِ أَوْسُقٍ .. It has been reported to us [Ishaq bin Manshur] and [Ya'qub bin Ibrahim], the lafazh is Ya'qub's lafazh, from [Abdurrahman] from [Malik] from [Daud bin Al Hushain] from [Abu Sufyan] from [Abu Hurairah] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam gave relief in the 'araya so that it would be sold at its valuation, five wasaq or less than five wasaq (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4541.) 14th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing God willing God willing God bless you تُبَاعَ بِخَرْصِهَا يَأْكُلُهَا أَهْلُهَا رُطَبًا .. Having informed us [Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Abdurrahman], he said; has told us [Sufyan] from [Yahya] from [Busyair bin Yasar] from [Sahl bin Abu Hatsmah] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade selling fruit until its suitability was seen, and gave relief in the event that 'araya was bought according to his estimation, and the owner ate it in the form of ruthab (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4542.) 15th Hadith. Having informed us [Al Husain bin Isa], he said; has told us [Abu Usamah], he said; has told me [Al Walid bin Kathir], he said; has informed me [Busyair bin Yasar] that [Rafi' bin Khadij] and [Sahl bin Abu Hatsmah] have told him that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade muzabanah, namely selling fruit with dates, except for the owner of the 'araya, in fact he permitted it (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4543.) 16th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing قَالُوا رَخَّصَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي بَيْعِ الْعَرَايَا بِخَرْصِهَا .. Having informed us [Qutaibah bin Sa'id], he said; has told us [Al Laits] from [Yahya] from [Busyair bin Yasar] from [the companions of] Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam that they said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam gave relief to selling 'araya with his appraisal (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4544.) 17th Hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. فَقَالَ لِمَنْ حَوْلَهُ " أَيَنْقُصُ الرُّطَبُ إِذَا يَبِسَ " . قَالُوا نَعَمْ . فَنَهَى عَنْهُ .. Having informed us ['Amr bin Ali], he said; has told us [Yahya], he said; has told us [Malik], he said; has told me [Abdullah bin Yazid] from [Zaid bin Abu 'Ayyasy] from [Sa'd], he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam was asked about selling dates with ruthab then he asked the people around him: "Will the ruthab decrease if it dries up?" they said; yes. Then he forbade it (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4545.) 18th Hadith. مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، قَالَ God willing عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْن مَالِكٍ، قَالَ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ "" "" . قَالُوا نَعَمْ . فَنَهَى عَنْهُ .. Has informed us [Muhammad bin Ali bin Maimun], he said; has told us [Muhammad bin Yusuf Al Firyabi], he said; has told us [Sufyan] from [Isma'il bin Umayyah] from [Abdullah bin Yazid] from [Zaid] from [Sa'd bin Malik], he said; Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was asked about buying and selling ruthab with dates. Then he asked: "Will the ruthab decrease if it dries up?" they said; yes. Then he forbade (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4546.) 19th hadith. Having informed us [Ibrahim bin Al Hasan], he said; has told us [Hajjaj], has said [Ibnu Juraij] has told me [Abu Az Zubair] said that he heard [Jabir bin Abdullah] say; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade selling a collection of dates of unknown proportions with dates of a certain quantity (Degree: authentic. God bless you God willing مِنَ الطَّعَامِ بِالْكَيْلَ .. Having informed us [Ibrahim bin Al Hasan], he said; has told us [Hajjaj], he said; [Ibnu Juraij] has informed me [Abu Az Zubair] that he heard [Jabir bin Abdullah] say; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "It is not permissible to sell a set of food with a set of food and a set of food with food in a certain measure (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4548.) 21st Hadith. God willing نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing كَرْمًا أَنْ يَبِيعَهُ بِزَبِيبٍ كَيْلاً وَإِنْ كَانَ زَرْعًا أَنْ يَبِيعَهُ بِكَيْلِ طَعَامٍ نَهَى عَنْ ذَلِكَ كُلِّهِ .. Having informed us [Qutaibah], he said; has told us [Al Laits] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar], he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prohibited muzabanah from selling the fruit of his garden if it was a date palm tree with dates in the form of a measure, if the vine sold it with raisins in the form of a measure, and if the plant was selling it with food in the form of a measure. He forbade all that (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4549.) 22nd Hadith. God bless you God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing نَهَى عَنِ الْمُخَابَرَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَعَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُطْعَمَ وَعَنْ بَيْعِ ذَلِكَ إِلاَّ بِالدَّنَانِيرِ وَالدَّرَاهِمِ .. Having informed us [Abdul Hamid bin Muhammad], he said; has told us [Makhlad bin Yazid], he said; has told us [Ibn Juraij] from ['Atho`] from [Jabir] that Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade mukhabarah, muzabanah, muhaqalah and from selling fruit before it could be eaten and from selling these things except in dinars and dirhams (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4550.) 23rd Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing يَبْيَضَّ وَيَأْمَنَ الْعَاهَةَ نَهَى الْبَائِعَ وَالْمُشْتَرِيَ .. Having informed us [Ali bin Hujr], he said; has told us [Isma'il] from [Ayyub] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade selling dates that were still on the tree until they turned red and from the grain until the seeds hardened, and were safe from disaster. He prohibited sellers and buyers (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4551.) 24th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings لاَ نَجِدُ الصَّيْحَانِيَّ وَلاَ الْعِذْقَ بِجَمْعِ التَّمْرِ God bless you وسلم " بِعْهُ بِالْوَرِقِ ثُمَّ اشْتَرِ بِهِ " .. Having informed us [Qutaibah bin Sa'id], he said; has told us [Abu Al Ahwash] from [Al A'masy] from [Habib bin Abu Thabit] from [Abu Salih] that [someone from the companions of] the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam had informed him that he said; O Rasulullah, we do not get Shaihani (the good type of dates) or Al 'Idzq with Jam dates' unless we add them, then Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Sell the dates for silver money and buy them with them (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4552.) 25th Hadith. God willing مِسْكِينٍ، قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - عَنِ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ God willing God willing هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم God bless you فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَكُلُّ تَمْرِ خَيْبَرَ هَكَذَا " . قَالَ لاَ وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَالصَّاعَيْنِ بِالثَّلاَثِ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings ثُمَّ ابْتَعْ بِالدَّرَاهِمِ جَنِيبًا " .. Has informed us [Muhammad bin Salamah] and [Al Harith bin Miskin] by reading the history, and I heard, the lafazhnya is the lafazh Al Harith, from [Ibn Al Qasim], he said; has told me [Malik] from [Abdul Majid bin Suhail] from [Sa'id bin Al Musayyab] from [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri] and from [Abu Hurairah] that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam used people's labor to cultivate the land of Khaibar, then the people came bringing Janih dates. Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Are all Khaibar dates like this?" the person said; no, by Allah, O Messenger of Allah, indeed we take one sha' for two sha', take two sha' for three sha'. Then Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Don't do it, sell jam dates for dirhams and then buy Janih dates with those dirhams (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4553.) 26th Hadith. God bless you مَسْعُودٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - عَنْ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing God willing أَنَّى لَكُمْ هَذَا " ." God bless you هَذَا لاَ يَصِحُّ وَلَكِنْ بِعْ تَمْرَكَ وَاشْتَرِ مِنْ هَذَا حَاجَتَكَ " .. Has reported to us [Nashr bin Ali] and [Isma'il bin Mas'ud] and the lafazhnya is lafazh Isma'il, from [Khalid], he said; has told us [Sa'id] from [Qatadah] from [Sa'id bin Al Musayyab] from [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri] that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam was given Rayyan dates while the dates of Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam were wet Ba'l dates, then he said: "Where did you get this from?" they said; we buy it one sha' with two sha' of our dates. So the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Do not do this, in fact it is not valid, but sell your dates and buy from this sale what you want (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4554.) 27th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace Allah's blessings كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ God willing تَمْرَ الْجَمْعِ عَلَّ وسلم فَنَبِيعُ الصَّاعَيْنِ بِالصَّاعِ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ "" تَمْرٍ بِصَاعٍ وَلاَ صَاعَىْ حِنْطَةٍ بِصَاعٍ وَلاَ دِرْهَمًا بِدِرْهَمَيْنِ " .. Having informed me [Isma'il bin Mas'ud], he said; has told us [Khalid], he said; has told us [Hisyam] from [Yahya bin Abu Kathir] from [Abu Salamah bin Abdurrahman], he said; has told us [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri], he said; We used to get sustenance from Jam' dates during the time of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, then we sold two sha' for one sha'. Then this came to the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, then he said: "Do not sell two sha' dates for one sha' and two sha' wheat for one sha', and one dirham for two dirhams (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4555.) 28th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ حَمْزَةَ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، قَالَ God willing قَالَ كُنَّا نَبِيعُ تَمْرَ الْجَمْعِ صَاعَيْنِ بِصَاعٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ صَاعَىْ تَمْرٍ God bless you بِدِرْهَمٍ " .. Has reported to us [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] from [Yahya namely Ibn Hamzah], he said; has told us [Al Auza'i] from [Yahya], he said; told me [Abu Salamah], he said; told me [Abu Sa'id], he said; In the past we sold Jam' two Sha' dates for one sha'. Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Do not sell two sha' dates for one sha' and two sha' wheat for one sha', and one dirham for two dirhams (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4556.) 29th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ حَمْزَةَ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْغَافِرِ، God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings هَذَا " . قَالَ اشْتَرَيْتُهُ صَاعًا بِصَاعَيْنِ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَوِّهْ عَيْنُ الرِّبَا لاَ تَقْرَبْهُ " .. Has reported to us [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] from [Yahya namely Ibn Hamzah], he said; has told us [Al Auza'i], he said; had told me [Yahya], he said; has told me ['Uqbah bin Abdul Ghafir], he said; told me [Abu Sa'id], he said; Bilal came to Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam bringing Barni dates, then he said: "What is this?" He said; I bought it one sha' with two sha'. Then he said: "Oh, a form of usury, do not approach it (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4557.) 30th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا God willing God willing قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " الذَّهَبُ بِالْوَرِقِ رِبًا إِلاَِ بِالتَّمْرِ رِبًا إِلاَِ Allah's blessings إِلاَّ هَاءَ وَ هَاءَ " .. Having informed us [Ishaq bin Ibrahim], he said; has told us [Sufyan] from [Az Zuhri] from [Malik bin Aus bin Al Hadatsan] that he heard [Umar bin Al Khathab] say; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Selling gold for silver is usury, unless the handover is direct, dates with dates is usury unless the handover is direct, wheat with wheat is usury unless the handover is direct, millet with barley is usury unless the handover is direct (Degree: authentic. Allah's blessings God bless you " التَّمْرُ بِالتَّمْرّ God bless you بِيَدٍ فَمَنْ زَادَ أَوِ ازْدَادَ فَقَدْ أَرْبَى إِلاَّ مَا اخْتَلَفَتْ أَلْوَانُهُ " .. Having informed us [Washil bin Abdul A'la], he said; has told us [Ibn Fudhail] from [his father] from [Abu Zur'ah] from [Abu Hurairah], he said; Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Date with date, wheat with wheat, barley with millet, salt with salt with direct handover, whoever adds or asks for additional then indeed he has committed usury except those of different colors (Degree: authentic. Having informed us [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Bazi'], he said; has told us [Yazid], he said; has told us [Salamah namely Ibn 'Alqamah] from [Muhammad bin Sirin] from [Muslim bin Yasar] and [Abdullah bin 'Atik] they said; in the house there were 'Ubadah bin Ash Shamit and Mu'awiyah, ['Ubadah] told them, he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade us from selling gold for gold, silver for silver, wheat for wheat, barley for barley and dates for dates. One of the two said; and salt with salt, while others do not say that. Except with such cases, and with direct handover. And he ordered that we sell gold for silver, and silver for gold, wheat for barley with direct handover however we wish. Hadits ke-33. أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ - عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُسْلِمُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، - وَقَدْ كَانَ يُدْعَى ابْنَ هُرْمُزَ - قَالَ جَمَعَ الْمَنْزِلُ بَيْنَ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ وَبَيْنَ مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَهُمْ عُبَادَةُ، قَالَ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ بَيْعِ الذَّهَبِ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ بِالْفِضَّةِ وَالتَّمْرِ بِالتَّمْرِ وَالْبُرِّ بِالْبُرِّ وَالشَّعِيرِ بِالشَّعِيرِ - قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا وَالْمِلْحِ بِالْمِلْحِ وَلَمْ يَقُلْهُ الآخَرُ - إِلاَّ سَوَاءً بِسَوَاءٍ مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ - قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا مَنْ زَادَ أَوِ ازْدَادَ فَقَدْ أَرْبَى وَلَمْ يَقُلْهُ الآخَرُ - وَأَمَرَنَا أَنْ نَبِيعَ الذَّهَبَ بِالْفِضَّةِ وَالْفِضَّةَ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْبُرَّ بِالشَّعِيرِ وَالشَّعِيرَ بِالْبُرِّ يَدًا بِيَدٍ كَيْفَ شِئْنَا .. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Al Muammal bin Hisyam], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Isma'il yaitu Ibnu 'Ulayyah] dari [Salamah bin 'Alqamah] dari [Ibnu Sirin], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepadaku [Muslim bin Yasar] dan [Abdullah bin Atik] dan ia dahulu dipanggil dengan nama Ibnu Hurmuz, ia berkata; sementara di dalam rumah terdapat 'Ubadah bin Ash Shamit dan Mu'awiyah, ['Ubadah] menceritakan kepada mereka, ia berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melarang kita dari menjual emas dengan emas, perak dengan perak, kurma dengan kurma, gandum dengan gandum, jewawut dengan jewawut. Salah seorang dari mereka berdua berkata; dan garam dengan garam, sedangkan yang lain tidak mengatakan hal tersebut. Kecuali secara sama-sama, semisal dengan yang semisal. Salah seorang diantara mereka berdua mengatakan; Barang siapa menambah atau meminta tambahan maka sungguh ia telah melakukan riba. Dan yang lainnya tidak mengatakannya. Hadits ke-34. أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُسْلِمُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالاَ جَمَعَ الْمَنْزِلُ بَيْنَ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ وَبَيْنَ مُعَاوِيَةَ فَقَالَ عُبَادَةُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ نَبِيعَ الذَّهَبَ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْوَرِقَ بِالْوَرِقِ وَالْبُرَّ بِالْبُرِّ وَالشَّعِيرَ بِالشَّعِيرِ وَالتَّمْرَ بِالتَّمْرِ - قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا وَالْمِلْحَ بِالْمِلْحِ وَلَمْ يَقُلِ الآخَرُ - إِلاَّ سَوَاءً بِسَوَاءٍ مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ - قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا مَنْ زَادَ أَوِ ازْدَادَ فَقَدْ أَرْبَى وَلَمْ يَقُلِ الآخَرُ - وَأَمَرَنَا أَنْ نَبِيعَ الذَّهَبَ بِالْوَرِقِ وَالْوَرِقَ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْبُرَّ بِالشَّعِيرِ وَالشَّعِيرَ بِالْبُرِّ يَدًا بِيَدٍ كَيْفَ شِئْنَا فَبَلَغَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مُعَاوِيَةَ فَقَامَ فَقَالَ مَا بَالُ رِجَالٍ يُحَدِّثُونَ أَحَادِيثَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَدْ صَحِبْنَاهُ وَلَمْ نَسْمَعْهُ مِنْهُ . فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ فَقَامَ فَأَعَادَ الْحَدِيثَ فَقَالَ لَنُحَدِّثَنَّ بِمَا سَمِعْنَاهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَإِنْ رُغِمَ مُعَاوِيَةُ . خَالَفَهُ قَتَادَةُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي الأَشْعَثِ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ .. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Isma'il bin Mas'ud], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Bisyr bin Al Mufadhdhal], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Salamah bin 'Alqamah] dari [Muhammad], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepadaku [Muslim bin Yasar] dan [Abdullah bin Atik], mereka mengatakan; sementara di dalam rumah terdapat 'Ubadah bin Ash Shamit dan Mu'awiyah, kemudian ['Ubadah] berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melarang kami dari menjual emas dengan emas, perak dengan perak, gandum dengan gandum, jewawut dengan jewawut, dan kurma dengan kurma. Salah seorang dari mereka berdua berkata; dan garam dengan garam, sedangkan yang lain tidak mengatakan hal tersebut. Kecuali secara sama-sama, semisal dengan yang semisal. Kemudian hadits ini sampai kepada Mu'awiyah, kemudian ia berdiri dan berkata; bagaimana keadaan orang-orang yang meriwayatkan hadits-hadits dari Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, dan kami telah menemani beliau dan belum mendengarnya dari beliau. Kemudian hal tersebut sampai kepada Ubadah bin Ash Shamit, lalu ia berdiri dan mengulangi hadits tersebut. Kemudian berkata; sungguh kami akan ceritakan apa yang telah kami dengar dari Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam walaupun Mu'awiyah tidak menyukainya. Qatadah menyelisinya, ia meriwayatkannya dari Muslim bin Yasar dari Abu Al Asy'ats dari Ubadah (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4562.) Hadits ke-35. أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنْ عَبْدَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، - وَكَانَ بَدْرِيًّا وَكَانَ بَايَعَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ لاَ يَخَافَ فِي اللَّهِ لَوْمَةَ لاَئِمٍ - أَنَّ عُبَادَةَ قَامَ خَطِيبًا فَقَالَ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّكُمْ قَدْ أَحْدَثْتُمْ بُيُوعًا لاَ أَدْرِي مَا هِيَ أَلاَ إِنَّ الذَّهَبَ بِالذَّهَبِ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ تِبْرُهَا وَعَيْنُهَا وَإِنَّ الْفِضَّةَ بِالْفِضَّةِ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ تِبْرُهَا وَعَيْنُهَا وَلاَ بَأْسَ بِبَيْعِ الْفِضَّةِ بِالذَّهَبِ يَدًا بِيَدٍ وَالْفِضَّةُ أَكْثَرُهُمَا وَلاَ تَصْلُحُ النَّسِيئَةُ أَلاَ إِنَّ الْبُرَّ بِالْبُرِّ وَالشَّعِيرَ بِالشَّعِيرِ مُدْيًا بِمُدْىٍ وَلاَ بَأْسَ بِبَيْعِ الشَّعِيرِ بِالْحِنْطَةِ يَدًا بِيَدٍ وَالشَّعِيرُ أَكْثَرُهُمَا وَلاَ يَصْلُحُ نَسِيئَةً أَلاَ وَإِنَّ التَّمْرَ بِالتَّمْرِ مُدْيًا بِمُدْىٍ حَتَّى ذَكَرَ الْمِلْحَ مُدًّا بِمُدٍّ فَمَنْ زَادَ أَوِ اسْتَزَادَ فَقَدْ أَرْبَى .. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Adam] dari ['Abdah] dari [Ibnu Abu 'Arubah] dari [Qatadah] dari [Muslim bin Yasar] dari [Al Asy'ats Ash Shan'ani] dari ['Ubadah bin Ash Shamit] yang merupakan orang Badr, dan telah membai'at Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam untuk tidak takut karena Allah kepada celaan orang yang mencela. Bahwa 'Ubadah berdiri melakukan ceramah, ia berkata; wahai manusia, sungguh kalian telah mengadakan jual beli, saya tidak tahu apa itu, ketahuilah sesungguhnya emas dengan emas satu timbangan dengan satu timbangan, baik yang masih murni atau mata uangnya, dan perak dengan perak, satu timbangan dengan satu timbangan, baik yang masih murni atau mata uangnya. Dan tidak mengapa menjual perak dengan emas dengan serah terima secara langsung dan perak lebih banyak, tidak boleh ditunda. Ketahuilah sesungguhnya gandum dengan gandum, dan jewawut-dengan jewawut satu mudyun (jenis takaran penduduk Syam) dengan satu mudyun dan tidak mengapa menjual jewawut dengan gandum dengan serah terima secara langsung, dan jewawut lebih banyak, dan tidak boleh menunda. Ketahuilah sesungguhnya kurma dengan kurma satu mudyun dengan satu mudyun....hingga ia menyebutkan garam satu mud dengan satu mud. Barang siapa yang menambah atau meminta tambahan maka sungguh ia telah melakukan riba (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4563.) Hadits ke-36. أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَيَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْمَكِّيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " الذَّهَبُ بِالذَّهَبِ تِبْرُهُ وَعَيْنُهُ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ وَالْفِضَّةُ بِالْفِضَّةِ تِبْرُهُ وَعَيْنُهُ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ وَالْمِلْحُ بِالْمِلْحِ وَالتَّمْرُ بِالتَّمْرِ وَالْبُرُّ بِالْبُرِّ وَالشَّعِيرُ بِالشَّعِيرِ سَوَاءً بِسَوَاءٍ مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ فَمَنْ زَادَ أَوِ ازْدَادَ فَقَدْ أَرْبَى " . وَاللَّفْظُ لِمُحَمَّدٍ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ يَعْقُوبُ " وَالشَّعِيرُ بِالشَّعِيرِ " .. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna] dan [Ibrahim bin Ya'qub] mereka berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Amr bin 'Ashim], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammam], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Qatadah] dari [Abu Al Khalil] dari [Muslim Al Makki] dari [Abu Al Asy'ats Ash Shan'ani] dari ['Ubadah bin Ash Shamit], ia berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Emas dengan emas yang murni dan mata uangnya satu timbangan dengan satu timbangan, perak dengan perak yang murni dan mata uangnya satu timbangan dengan satu timbangan, garam dengan garam, kurma dengan kurma, gandum dengan gandum, dan jewawut dengan jewawut secara sama-sama dan semisal dengan semisal. Barang siapa yang menambah atau minta tambahan maka sungguh ia telah melakukan riba." Lafazhnya adalah lafazh Muhammad, Ibnu Ya'qub tidak menyebutkan; dan jewawut dengan jewawut (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-37. أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، أَنَّ أَبَا الْمُتَوَكِّلِ، مَرَّ بِهِمْ فِي السُّوقِ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ قَوْمٌ أَنَا مِنْهُمْ قَالَ قُلْنَا أَتَيْنَاكَ لِنَسْأَلَكَ عَنِ الصَّرْفِ . قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ قَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مَا بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم غَيْرُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ لَيْسَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ غَيْرُهُ . قَالَ فَإِنَّ الذَّهَبَ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْوَرِقَ بِالْوَرِقِ - قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ أَوْ قَالَ وَالْفِضَّةَ بِالْفِضَّةِ - وَالْبُرَّ بِالْبُرِّ وَالشَّعِيرَ بِالشَّعِيرِ وَالتَّمْرَ بِالتَّمْرِ وَالْمِلْحَ بِالْمِلْحِ سَوَاءً بِسَوَاءٍ فَمَنْ زَادَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ أَوِ ازْدَادَ فَقَدْ أَرْبَى وَالآخِذُ وَالْمُعْطِي فِيهِ سَوَاءٌ .. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Isma'il bin Mas'ud], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Khalid] dari [Sulaiman bin Ali] bahwa [Abu Al Mutawalli] melewati orang-orang di pasar kemudian beberapa orang datang kepadanya dan saya termasuk diantara mereka. Sulaiman mengatakan; kami mengatakan; kami datang kepadamu untuk bertanya mengenai barter. Ia berkata; saya mendengar [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri].... kemudian seorang laki-laki berkata kepadanya; apakah tidak ada orang antara engkau dan Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam selain Abu Sa'id Al Khudri? Abu Al Mutawalli berkata; tidak ada orang antara saya dengan Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam selain dia. Ia berkata; sesungguhnya emas dengan emas, perak dengan perak, gandum dengan gandum, jewawut dengan jewawut, kurma dengan kurma dan garam dengan garam secara sama-sama, barang siapa menambah hal itu atau minta tambahan maka ia telah melakukan riba, orang yang mengambil dan yang memberi adalah sama (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 4565.) Hadits ke-38. أَخْبَرَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا حَكِيمُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ، ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَكِيمُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " الذَّهَبُ الْكِفَّةُ بِالْكِفَّةِ " . وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ يَعْقُوبُ " الْكِفَّةُ بِالْكِفَّةِ " . فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ إِنَّ هَذَا لاَ يَقُولُ شَيْئًا . قَالَ عُبَادَةُ إِنِّي وَاللَّهِ مَا أُبَالِي أَنْ لاَ أَكُونَ بِأَرْضٍ يَكُونُ بِهَا مُعَاوِيَةُ إِنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ .. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Harun bin Abdullah], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Usamah], ia berkata; telah berkata [Isma'il]; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hakim bin Jabir]. Dari jalur lain; Telah menceritakan dan memberitakan kepada kami [Ya'qub bin Ibrahim], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya] dari [Isma'il], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hakim bin Jabir] dari ['Ubadah bin Ash Shamit], ia berkata; saya mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Emas dengan emas satu timbangan dengan satu timbangan Ya'qub tidak menyebutkan; "satu timbangan dengan satu timbangan". Mu'awiyah berkata; sesungguhnya orang ini tidak mengatakan sesuatupun. 'Ubadah berkata; demi Allah sesungguhnya saya tidak peduli untuk tidak berada di negeri yang padanya terdapat Mu'awiyah, sesungguhnya saya bersaksi bahwa saya mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam mengatakan hal tersebut (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-39. أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي تَمِيمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الدِّينَارُ بِالدِّينَارِ وَالدِّرْهَمُ بِالدِّرْهَمِ لاَ فَضْلَ بَيْنَهُمَا " .. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Qutaibah bin Sa'id] dari [Malik] dari [Musa bin Abu Tamim] dari [Sa'id bin Yasar] dari [Abu Hurairah] bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Dinar dengan dinar, dan dirham dengan dirham, tidak boleh ada lebih diantara keduanya (Derajat: shahih.
