Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing مَخْرَمَةُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God bless you God bless you وسلم .. Having informed us [Ahmad bin Amru bin As Sarh Abu Thahir] he said; has reported to us [Ibn Wahb] said; had reported to me [Makhramah] from [his father] from [Nafi'] he said, "If [Ibn Umar] wants to use perfume, he uses Al aluwwah (burnt fragrant wood) without any mixture, sometimes also uses lime mixed with Al aluwwah. Then he said, "This is the custom of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam when using fragrant oil (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5135.) 2nd hadith. God willing وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، أَنَّ أَبَا عُشَّانَةَ، - هُوَ الْمَعَافِرِيُّ - حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind وَيَقُولُ " إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ حِلْيَةَ الْجَنَّةِ وَحَرِيرَهَا فَلاَ تَلْبَسُوهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا " .. Having informed us [Wahb bin Bayan] he said; has told us [Ibn Wahb] he said; has reported to us [Amru bin Al Harith] that [Abu Usyanah] - namely Al Ma'arifi - told him that he heard [Uqbah bin Amir] say that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade his brother from wearing jewelry and silk. He said: "If you want to wear the jewels of heaven and its silk cloth, then do not wear them in the world (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5136.) 3rd Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God bless you God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind وسلم فَقَالَ " يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ أَمَا لَكُنَّ فِي God willing تَحَلَّتْ ذَهَبًا تُظْهِرُهُ إِلاَّ عُذِّبَتْ بِهِ " .. Has informed us [Ali bin Hujr] he said; has told us [Jarir] from [Mansur]. (in another way it is stated) Has reported to us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] he said; has told us ['Abdurrahman] he said; has told us [Sufyan] from [Mansur] from [Rib'i] from [His wife] from [Hudzaifah's sister] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam preached before us: "O women, don't you wear silver jewelry, indeed there is no woman who wears gold jewelry and then reveals it (in front of men) unless the woman will be punished by Allah because of it. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5137.) 4th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَنْصُم God willing خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing ذَهَبًا تُظْهِرُهُ إِلاَّ عُذِّبَتْ بِهِ " .. Having informed us [Muhammad bin Abdul A'la] he said; has told us [Al Mu'tamir] he said; I heard [Mansur] narrate from [Rib'i] from [his wife] from [Hudzaifah's sister] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam preached in front of us: "O women, don't you wear silver jewelry, indeed there is no woman who wears gold jewelry and then shows it off (in front of men) unless the woman will be punished by Allah because of it (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5138.) 5th Hadith. Allah's blessings مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ يَحْيَى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind " أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ تَحَلَّتْ - يَعْنِي - بِقِلاَدَةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ جُعِلَ فِي God willing God willing God willing يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .. Having informed us [Ubaidullah bin Sa'id] he said; has told us [Mu'adz bin Hisham] he said; has told me [my father] from [Yahya bin Abu Kathir] he said; has told me [Mahmud bin Amru] that [Asma bint Yazid] told him, that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Any woman who is decorated - namely with a necklace -, something like that will be made for her from the fire of hell. And any woman who puts earrings in her ears of gold, then on the Day of Resurrection Allah will put earrings in her ears made of fire (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5139.) 6th Hadith. Allah's blessings مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ يَحْيَى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وسلم وَفِي يَدِهَا فَتَخٌ - فَقَالَ كَذَا فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي أَىْ خَوَاتِيمَ ضِخَامٍ - فَجَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَضْرِبُ يَدَهَا فَدَخَلَتْ عَلَى فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing هَذِهِ أَهْدَاهَا إِلَىَّ أَبُو حَسَنٍ فَدَخَلَ رَسُولُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing "" رَسُولِ اللَّهِ وَفِي يَدِهَا سِلْسِلَةٌ مِنْ نَارٍ " . God bless you فَأَرْسَلَتْ فَاطِمَةُ God bless you بِثَمَنِهَا غُلاَمًا - وَقَالَ مَرَّةً عَبْدًا - وَذَكَرَ كَلِمَةً مَعْنَاهَا فَأَعْتَقَتْهُ فَحُدِّثَ بِذَلِكَ فَقَالَ " الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَنْجَى فَاطِمَةَ مِنَ النَّارِ " .. Having informed us [Ubaidullah bin Sa'id] he said; has told us [Mu'adz bin Hisham] he said; has told me [my father] from [Yahya bin Abu Kathir] he said; has told me [Zaid] from [Abu Sallam] from [Abu Asma Ar Rahabi] that [Tsauban], a former slave of Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, told him, he said, "Princess Hubairah came to see Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam while in her hand was Fatakh -Tsauban said, "So it is written in my father's book, namely a big ring- until Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam hits his hand. Then he came to meet Fatimah, the daughter of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and complained to her about the actions of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. Fatimah took off the gold necklace around her neck and said, "This necklace was a gift from Abu Hasan to me." After that, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam entered while his necklace was still in his hand, he then said: "O Fatimah, wouldn't it be nice if people said, 'Princess of Rasulullah, but in her hand is holding a necklace made of fire!' lafadz who then freed him. When this was told to Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Praise be to Allah who has saved Fatimah from hell." [Abu Asma] from [Tsauban] he said, "Princess Hubairah came to meet Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam while in her hand there was a gold ring... as in the hadith (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5140.) 7th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind Allah's blessings God bless you God bless you قَالَ كُنْتُ قَاعِدًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم God bless you سِوَارَيْنِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ ." " ." قَالَ " طَوْقٌ مِنْ نَارٍ " . قَالَتْ قُرْطَيْنِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ . قَالَ " قُرْطَيْنِ مِنْ نَارٍ " . قَالَ وَكَانَ عَلَيْهِمَا سِوَارَانِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَرَمَتْ بِهِمَا قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ إِذَا لَمْ تَتَزَيَّنْ لِزَوْجِهَا صَلِفَتْ عِنْدَهُ . قَالَ " مَا يَمْنَعُ إِحْدَاكُنَّ أَنْ تَصْنَعَ قُرْطَيْنِ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ ثُمَّ تُصَفِّرَهُ بِزَعْفَرَانٍ أَوْ بِعَبِيرٍ " . اللَّفْظُ لاِبْنِ حَرْبٍ .. Having informed us [Ishaq bin Hasyin Al Wasithi] he said; has preached to us [Khalid] from [Mutharrif]. (in another line mentioned) Having reported to us [Ahmad bin Harb] he said; has told us [Asbath] from [Mutharrif] from [Abul Jahm] from [Abu Zaid] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "I was sitting next to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, then a woman came to him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, two bracelets of gold." He said: "Two bracelets of fire." The woman said, "O Messenger of Allah, a necklace of gold?" he said: "Necklace from fire." The woman said, "O Messenger of Allah, two gold earrings?" He said: "Two earrings from fire." Abu Hurairah said, "The woman had two gold bracelets, but then she threw them both away. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, if a woman does not decorate herself for her husband, she will be ugly to him!" he said: "What prevents one of you from wearing two silver earrings, then coloring them with za'faran, or 'abir (perfume)," but with the lafadz of Ibn Harb (Degree: authentic. God bless you God willing عَلَيْهَا مَسَكَتَىْ or عليه وسلم " أَلاَ أُخْبِرُكِ بِمَا هُوَ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ هَذَا لَوْ نَزَعْتِ هَذَا وَجَعَلْتِ مَسَكَتَيْنِ مِنْ وَرِقٍ ثُمَّ " . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا غَيْرُ مَحْفُوظٍ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ .. Having reported to me [Ar Rabi' bin Sulaiman] he said; has told us [Ishaq bin Bukair] he said; has told me [my father] from [Amru Ibnul Harith] from [Ibn Shihab] from [Urwah] from ['Aisyah], that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam once saw him wearing two gold bracelets, then Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Would you like me to tell you what is better than this, if you take these off and then you wear two bracelets of silver and you anoint them with za'faran then that's better." Abu 'Abdurrahman said, "This hadith is not preserved. Waallahu a'lam (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5143.) 9th Hadith. God willing يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أَفْلَحَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وسلم أَخَذَ حَرِيرًا فَجَعَلَهُ فِي يَمِينِهِ وَأَخَذَ ذَهَبًا فَجَعَلَهُ فِي شِمَالِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ " إِنَّ هَذَيْنِ حَرَامٌ عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي " .. Having reported to us [Qutaibah] he said; has told us [Al Laits] from [Yazid bin Abu Habib] from [Abu Aflah Al Hamdani] from [Ibn Zurair] that he once heard [Ali bin Abu Talib] say, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam took silk and put it on his right side, and took gold and put it on either side, then said: "Indeed these two things are haram for the men of my Ummah (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5144.) 10th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing God bless you أَفْلَحَ عَنِ ابْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing أَخَذَ حَرِيرًا فَجَعَلَهُ فِي يَمِينِهِ وَأَخَذَ ذَهَبًا فَجَعَلَهُ فِي شِمَالِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ " إِنَّ هَذَيْنِ حَرَامٌ عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي " .. Having informed us [Isa bin Hammad] he said; has reported to us [Al Laits] from [Yazid bin Abu Habib] from [Ibn Abu Ash Sha'bah] from a man from Hamdan who was called [Abu Salih] from [Ibn Zurair] that he once heard [Ali bin Abu Talib] say, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) took silk and placed it on his right side, then took gold and placed it on his left side, then he said: "Indeed, these two things are haram for the men of my Ummah (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5145.) 11th Hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing ذَهَبًا بِيَمِينِهِ وَحَرِيرًا بِشِمَالِهِ فَقَالَ " هَذَا حَرَامٌ عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي " .. Having informed us [Amru bin Ali] he said; has told us [Yazid bin Harun] he said; has reported to us [Muhammad bin Ishaq] from [Yazid bin Abu Habib] from [Abdul Aziz bin Abu Ash Sha'bah] from [Abu Aflah Al Hamdani] from [Abdullah bin Zurair Al Ghafiqi] he said, "I heard [Ali] say, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam took gold with his right hand and took silk with his left hand, then he said: "This forbidden for my male Ummah (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5147.) 12th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God bless you God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing ذُكُورِهَا " .. Having informed us [Ali Ibnul Husain Ad Dirhami] he said; has told us [Abdul A'la] from [Sa'id] from [Ayyub] from [Nafi'] from [Sa'id bin Abu Hind] from [Abu Musa], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Gold and silk are permitted for the women of my Ummah and prohibited for their men (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5148.) 13th Hadith. It has been reported to us that [Al Hasan bin Qaza'ah] from [Sufyan bin Habib] from [Khalid] from [Abu Qilabah] from [Mu'awiyah] said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade wearing silk and gold except for a small piece." Abdul Wahhab disputed this history, he narrated it from Khalid, from Maimun, from Abu Qilabah (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5149.) 14th Hadith. Having informed us [Muhammad Ibnul Mutsanna] he said; has told us [Ibn Abu Adi] from [Sa'id] from [Qatadah] from [Abu Shaykh] that he once heard [Mu'awiyah] - who at that time was with several companions - say, "Don't you know that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade wearing gold except a small piece?" they answered, "Of course (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5151.) 15th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God bless you إِذْ جَمَعَ رَهْطًْ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ أَلَسْتُمْ or صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ لُبِ مُقَطَّعًا قَالُوا اللَّهُمَّ نَعَمْ . خَالَفَهُ يَحْيَى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. عَلَيْهِ .. Having informed us [Ahmad bin Harb] he said; has reported to us [Asbath] from [Mughirah] from [Mathar] from [Abu Shaykh] he said, "When we were with [Mu'awiyah] on one of his pilgrimages, he gathered a number of companions of Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he then said to them, "Didn't you know that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam had forbidden the wearing of gold except small pieces?" they answered, "Of course." Yahya bin Abu Katsir disagreed based on a dispute that occurred between his friends (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5152.) 16th Hadith. God willing God bless you Allah's blessings God willing نَفَرًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالُوا نَعَمْ . قَالَ وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ . خَالَفَهُ الأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَلَي .. Having informed us [Muhammad Ibnul Mutsanna] he said; has told us [Abdu Ash Shamad] he said; has told us [Harb bin Syaddad] he said; has told us [Yahya] he said; has told me [Abu Shaykh] from his brother [Himman] he said, "During the year of the Hajj, [Mu'awiyah] gathered several of the companions of Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam in the Kaaba, he then said to them, "I swear by Allah on all of you, has Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade wearing gold?" They answered, "Yes." Mu'awiyah then said, "I also testify." Al Auza'i disagreed with him on the basis of a dispute that occurred between him and his friends regarding this hadith (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5154.) 17th Hadith. Having reported to me [Syu'aib bin Syu'aib bin Ishaq] he said; has told us [Abdul Wahhab bin Sa'id] he said; has told us [Syu'aib] from [Al Auza'i] from the hadith of [Yahya bin Abu Kathir] he said; has told me [Abu Shaykh] he said; has told me [Himman] he said, "After [Mu'awiyah] completed the Hajj he gathered some of the Ansar at the Kaaba, he then said, "I swear by the name of Allah on you, have you not heard that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade cursing gold?" they answered, "Yes." He then said, "I also testify (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5155.) 18th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing God bless you مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ فَقَالَ أَنْشُدُكُمْ بِاللَّهِ أَلَمْ or نَهَى عَنِ الذَّهَبِ قَالُوا اللَّهُمَّ نَعَمْ . قَالَ وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ .. Having informed us [Nushair Ibnul Farah] he said; has told us [Umarah bin Bisyr] from [Al Auza'i] from [Yahya bin Abu Kathir] he said; has told me [Abu Ishaq] he said; has told me [Himman] he said, "After [Mu'awiyah] completed the Hajj he gathered some of the Ansar at the Kaaba, he then said, "I swear by the name of Allah on you, have you not heard that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade cursing gold?" they answered, "Yes." He then said, "I also testify (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5156.) 19th hadith. God bless you God willing God willing عَرْفَجَةَ بْنْ God willing God willing أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ أَنْفًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ .. Has informed us [Muhammad bin Ma'mar] he said; has told us [Habban] he said; has told us [Salm bin Zurair] he said; has told us ['Abdurrahman bin Tharafah] from his grandfather ['Arfajah bin As'ad], that his nose was injured during the Kulab war during the Jahiliyah era. Then he put on a fake nose made of silver, but it actually gave off a bad smell. So the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam ordered him to wear a nose made of gold (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5161.) 20th hadith. Having reported to us [Qutaibah] he said; has told us [Yazid bin Zurai'] from [Abu Al Asyhab] he said; has told me ['Abdurrahman bin Tharafah] from ['Arfajah bin As'ad bin Kuraib] he said; his grandfather said; had told me that he saw his grandfather's nose injured during the Kulab war during the Jahiliyah era. 'Arfajah said, "Then he used a nose made of silver, but it gave off a bad smell. So the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam ordered him to wear a nose made of gold (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5162.) 21st Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدَ كَثِيرٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ or God bless you يُونُسَ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ لِصُهَيْبٍ مَا لِي أَرَى عَلَيْكَ خَاتَمَ God bless you يَعِبْهُ . قَالَ مَنْ هُوَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم .. Having informed us [Muhammad bin Yahya bin Muhammad bin Katsir Al Harrani] he said; has told us [Sa'id bin Hafsh] he said; has told us [Musa bin A'yun] from [Isa bin Yunus] from [Adl Dlahhak bin 'Abdurrahman] from ['Atha Al Khurasani] from [Sa'id Ibnul Musayyab] he said, "Umar said to [Shuhaib], "Why do I see you wearing a gold ring?" Shuhaib answered, "A better person than you has seen it, and he did not criticize it." Umar said, "Who is that?" Shuhaib answered, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5163.) 22nd Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ عَلِيٌّ نَهَانِي النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ خَاتِمَ الذَّهَبِ وَعَنِ الْقَسِّيِّ وََعَنِ الْحُمْرِ وَعَنِ الْجِعَةِ .. Having reported to us [Qutaibah] he said; has told us [Al Ahwash] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Hubairah bin Yarim] he said, " [Ali] said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade me to wear gold rings, Al Qasi (clothes embroidered with silk), saddle pads made of silk, and Al Ji'ah (drink made from wheat juice) (Degree: authentic. It has been reported to us by [Muhammad bin Adam] from ['Abdurrahim] from [Zakariya] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Hubairah] from [Ali] that he said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade wearing gold rings, Al Qasi (clothing embroidered with silk), saddle pads made of silk, and Al Ji'ah (a drink made from pressed wheat) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5166.) 24th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَالْمِيثَرَةِ وَالْجِعَةِ . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الَّذِي قَبْلَهُ أَشْبَهُ بِالصَّوَابِ .. Having informed us [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Al Mubaral] he said; has told us [Yahya bin Adam] he said; has told us [Ammar bin Ruzaiq] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Sha'sha'ah bin Shuhan] from [Ali] he said, "The Messenger of Allah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade me to wear gold bracelets, cloth embroidered with silk, saddle cloth made of silk and drinks made from wheat juice." 'Abdurrahman said, "The previous hadith is closer to the truth (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5168.) 25th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَمَا may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنْ God willing God willing قَالَ نَهَانِي عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَحَلْقَةِ الذَّهَبِ وَلَُ الْحَمْرَاءِ .. Has informed us [Ishaq bin Ibrahim] he said; has reported to us [Ubaidullah bin Musa] he said; has preached to us [Israil] from [Isma'il bin Sumai'] from [Malik bin Umair] from [Sha'sha'ah bin Shuhan] he said, "I said to Ali, "Forbid us from (something) that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam once forbade you to do!" [Ali] said, "He forbade me from Ad Duba, Al Hantam, gold bracelets, wearing silk, embroidered cloth silk, and saddle lining made of silk (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5169.) 26th Hadith. God willing قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ، - هُوَ ابْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - هُوَ ابْنُ سُمَيْعٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ - God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْجِعَةِ وَنَهَانَا عَنْ حَلْقَةَ وَلُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ وَلُبْسِ الْقَسِّيِّ وَالْمِيثَرَةِ الْحَمْرَاءِ .. Having informed us ['Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim Duhaim] he said; has told us [Marwan] - namely Ibn Mu'awiyah - he said; has told us [Isma'il] - namely Ibn Sumai' Al Hanafi - from [Malik bin Umair] he said, "[Sha'sha'ah] came to Ali and said, "Forbid us from (something) that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam once forbade you to do!" [Ali] said, "He forbade me from Ad Duba, Al Hantam, An Naqir, drinks made from pressed wheat, bracelets gold, wearing silk, and saddle lining made of silk (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5170.) 27th Hadith. God willing. God willing بْنُ عُثْمَانَ .. Having informed us [Abu Dawud] he said; has told us [Abu Ali Al Hanafi] and [Uthman bin Umar]. Abu Ali said, he has told us. Uthman said, had reported to us [Dawud bin Qais] from [Ibrahim bin Abdullah bin Hunain] from [his father] from [Ibn Abbas] from [Ali] he said, "My beloved, Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade me from three things -I am not saying that he forbade people-, he forbade me from wearing gold rings, wearing clothes embroidered with silk, smearing clothes with colored and pungent perfumes, and that I don't read the Koran when prostrating and bowing." And Adl Dlahhak bin Uthman strengthened it (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5172.) 28th Hadith. Having informed us [Al Hasan bin Dawud Al Munkadir] he said; has told us [Ibn Abu Fudaik] from [Adl Dlahhak] from [Ibrahim bin Hunain] from [his father] from [Abdullah bin Abbas] from [Ali] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade me - and I am not saying he forbade you - from wearing gold rings, wearing clothes embroidered with silk, smearing clothes with strong and yellow perfumes, and reading the Qur'an while bowing (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5173.) 29th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ قَزَعَةَ، قَِدُ God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا، يَقُولُ نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَعَنِ الْقَسِّيِّ وَالْمُعَصْفَرِ وَأَنْ لاَ أَقْرَأَ وَأَنَا رَاكِعٌ .. Having informed us [Al Hasan bin Qaza'ah] he said; has told us [Khalid Ibnul Harith] he said; has told us [Muhammad bin Amru] from [Ibrahim bin Abdullah bin Hunain] from [his father] he said; I heard [Ali] say, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade me - and I am not saying he forbade you - from gold rings, cloth embroidered with silk, cloth dipped in yellow and that I should not read the Koran while bowing (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5175.) Hadits ke-30. أَخْبَرَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَكَّارِ بْنِ بِلاَلٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ سُمَيْعٍ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، مَوْلَى عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ تَخَتُّمِ الذَّهَبِ وَعَنِ الْمُعَصْفَرِ وَعَنْ لُبْسِ الْقَسِّيِّ وَعَنِ الْقِرَاءَةِ فِي الرُّكُوعِ .. Telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Harun bin Muhammad bin Bakkar bin Bilal] dari [Muhammad bin Isa] -yaitu Ibnu Al Qasim bin Sumai'- ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Zaid bin Waqid] dari [Nafi'] dari [Ibrahim] mantan budak Ali, dari [Ali] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melarangku dari memakai cincin emas, kain yang dicelup dengan warna kuning, kain yang bersulam sutera dan dari membaca Al-Qur'an saat rukuk (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-31. أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ حُنَيْنٍ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا، قَالَ نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ لُبْسِ الْقَسِّيِّ وَالْمُعَصْفَرِ وَعَنِ التَّخَتُّمِ بِالذَّهَبِ .. Telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Abu Bakr bin Ali] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibrahim Ibnul Hajjaj] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammad bin Salamah] dari [Ubaidullah bin Umar] dari [Nafi'] dari [Ibnu Hunain] mantan budak Ibnu Abbas, bahwa [Ali] berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melarangku dari memakai kain yang bersulam sutera, kain yang dicelup dengan warna kuning dan memakai cincin emas (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5177.) Hadits ke-32. أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ نَهَانِي النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْقَسِّيِّ وَالْحَرِيرِ وَخَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ وَأَنْ أَقْرَأَ رَاكِعًا . خَالَفَهُ هِشَامٌ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ .. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ubaidullah bin Sa'id] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammad bin Mas'adah] dari [Asy'ats] dari [Muhammad] dari [Abidah] dari [Ali] ia berkata, "Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melarang dari memakai kain yang bersulam sutera, memakai sutera, memakai cincin emas, dan membaca? Al-Qur'an saat rukuk." Namun ia tidak memarfu'kan hadits ini (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5183.) Hadits ke-33. أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ نَهَى عَنْ مَيَاثِرِ الأُرْجُوَانِ، وَلُبْسِ الْقَسِّيِّ، وَخَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ، .. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ahmad bin Sulaiman] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yazid] ia berkata; telah memberitakan kepada kami [Hisyam] dari [Muhammad] dari [Abidah] dari [Ali] ia berkata, "Beliau melarang dari pelapis pelana yang terbuat dari sutera, memakai kain yang bersulam sutera dan memakai cincin emas (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5184.) Hadits ke-34. أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، قَالَ نَهَى عَنْ مَيَاثِرِ الأُرْجُوَانِ، وَخَوَاتِيمِ الذَّهَبِ، .. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Qutaibah] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammad] dari [Ayyub] dari [Muhammad] dari [Abidah] ia berkata, "Beliau melarang dari pelapis pelana yang terbuat dari sutera, memakai kain yang bersulam sutera dan memakai cincin emas (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5185.) Hadits ke-35. أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ، - هُوَ ابْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ - عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ تَخَتُّمِ الذَّهَبِ .. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ahmad bin Hafsh] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Bapakku] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibrahim] dari [Al Hajjaj] -yaitu Ibnul Hajjaj- dari [Qatadah] dari [Abdul Ubaid] dari [Busyair bin Nahik] dari [Abu Hurairah] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melarangku dari memakai cincin emas (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5186.) Hadits ke-36. أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الْمَعْنِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ اللَّيْثِيُّ، قَالَ أَشْهَدُ عَلَى عِمْرَانَ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَنَا قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ وَعَنِ التَّخَتُّمِ بِالذَّهَبِ وَعَنِ الشُّرْبِ فِي الْحَنَاتِمِ .. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Yunus bin Hammad Al Ma'ni Al Bashri] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdul Warits] dari [Abu At Tayyah] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hafsh Al Laitsi] ia berkata; Aku bersaksi atas [Imran] bahwa ia menceritakan kepada kami, ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melarang dari memakai kain sutera, memakai cincin emas dan minum dengan menggunakan Al Hantam (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5187.) Hadits ke-37. أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ سَوَادَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَا النَّجِيبِ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَجُلاً قَدِمَ مِنْ نَجْرَانَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَعَلَيْهِ خَاتَمٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقَالَ " إِنَّكَ جِئْتَنِي وَفِي يَدِكَ جَمْرَةٌ مِنْ نَارٍ " .. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ahmad bin Amru bin As Sarh] ia berkata; telah memberitakan kepada kami [Ibnu Wahb] ia berkata; telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Amru bin Al Harits] dari [Bakr bin Sawadah] bahwa [Abu An Najib] menceritakan kepadanya, bahwa [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri] menceritakan kepadanya, bahwa seorang laki-laki dari Najran datang menemui Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, sementara ia mengenakan cincin dari emas. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam kemudian berpaling darinya seraya bersabda: "Engkau datang kepadaku sementara di tanganmu ada bara dari neraka (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5188.) Hadits ke-38. أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، كَانَ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَعَلَيْهِ خَاتَمٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَفِي يَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِخْصَرَةٌ أَوْ جَرِيدَةٌ فَضَرَبَ بِهَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِصْبَعَهُ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ مَا لِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ " أَلاَ تَطْرَحُ هَذَا الَّذِي فِي إِصْبَعِكَ " . فَأَخَذَهُ الرَّجُلُ فَرَمَى بِهِ فَرَآهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ " مَا فَعَلَ الْخَاتَمُ " . قَالَ رَمَيْتُ بِهِ . قَالَ " مَا بِهَذَا أَمَرْتُكَ إِنَّمَا أَمَرْتُكَ أَنْ تَبِيعَهُ فَتَسْتَعِينَ بِثَمَنِهِ " . وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ مُنْكَرٌ .. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ahmad bin Sulaiman] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ubaidullah] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Israil] dari [Manshur] dari [Salim] dari [seorang laki-laki] dari [Al Bara bin Azib] ia berkata, "Seorang laki-laki yang memakai cincin emas duduk di sisi Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, sementara di tangan Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam terdapat tongkat kecil, atau pelepah kurma. Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam kemudian memukul jari lelaki itu dengan tongkatnya, laki-laki itu pun berkata, "Ada apa denganku ya Rasulullah!" beliau menjawab: "Kenapa kamu tidak membuang sesuatu yang ada di jarimu ini?" laki-laki itu lantas membuang cincinnya. Setelah kejadian itu Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam kembali melihat laki-laki tersebut, beliau pun bertanya: "Apa yang dilakukan oleh cincin itu?" laki-laki itu menjawab, "Aku telah membuangnya." Beliau bersabda: "Aku tidak menyuruhmu seperti itu, tapi aku ingin agar kamu menjualnya hingga engkau dapat memanfaatkan hasil penjualannya." Ini adalah hadits munkar (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5189.) Hadits ke-39. أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَبْصَرَ فِي يَدِهِ خَاتَمًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَجَعَلَ يَقْرَعُهُ بِقَضِيبٍ مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا غَفَلَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَلْقَاهُ قَالَ " مَا أُرَانَا إِلاَّ قَدْ أَوْجَعْنَاكَ وَأَغْرَمْنَاكَ " . خَالَفَهُ يُونُسُ رَوَاهُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ مُرْسَلاً .. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Amru bin Manshur] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Affan] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Wuhaib] dari [An Nu'man bin Rasyid] dari [Az Zuhri] dari ['Atha bin Yazid] dari [Abu Tsa'labah Al Khusyani], bahwa Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melihat cincin emas yang ada di tangannya, beliau lalu memukulnya dengan tongkat yang beliau bawa. Namun saat beliau lengah, ia pun membuang cincinnya. Beliau bersabda: "Tidaklah cincin itu engkau perlihatkan kepada kami, kecuali kami akan membuatmu sakit, atau akan memaksamu untuk membuangnya." Riwayat ini diselisihi oleh Yunus, ia meriwayatkan dari Az Zhuri, dari Abu Idris secara mursal." Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ahmad bin Amru bin As Sarh] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Wahb] ia berkata; telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Yunus] dari [Ibnu Syihab] ia berkata; telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Abu Idris Al Khaulani] berkata, "Seorang laki-laki -ia termasuk orang yang pernah berjumpa dengan Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam- memakai cincin emas sebagaimana dalam hadits tersebut." 'Abdurrahman berkata, "Hadits Yunus ini lebih benar dari pada hadits An Nu'man." Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ahmad bin Ibrahim bin Muhammad Al Qurasyi Ad Dimasyqi Abu Abdul Malik] secara qira'ah. Ia berkata, "Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu 'Aidz] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin Hamzah] dari [Al Auza'i] dari [Az Zuhri] dari [Abu Idris Al Khaulani] bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pernah melihat seorang laki-laki mengenakan cincin…sebagaimana dalam hadits tersebut (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5190.) Hadits ke-40. أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعُمَرِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَأَى فِي يَدِ رَجُلٍ خَاتَمَ ذَهَبٍ فَضَرَبَ إِصْبَعَهُ بِقَضِيبٍ كَانَ مَعَهُ حَتَّى رَمَى بِهِ ..
