Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you وَاصِلُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَوْرَةَ، God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings .. Has told us [Isma'il bin Abdullah Ar Raqqi] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Rabi'ah Al Kilabi] said, has told us [Washil bin Sa`ib Ar Raqasyi] from [Abu Saurah] from [Abu Ayyub Al Ansari] he said; "I saw the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam performing ablution while parting his beard (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 433.) 2nd hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind يَحْيَى، قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ God bless you God willing God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. نَعَمْ . فَدَعَا بِوَضُوءٍ فَأَفْرَغَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ تَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْثَرَ God willing مَرَّتَيْنِ مَرَّتَيْنِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ ثُمَّ مَسَحَ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing God willing مِنْهُ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ .. It has been told to us that [Ar Rabi' bin Sulaiman] and [Harmalah bin Yahya] both said; has reported to us [Muhammad bin Idris Asy Syafi'i] said; has reported to us [Malik bin Anas] from ['Amru bin Yahya] from [his father] that he said to [Abdullah bin Zaid] - he is the grandfather of 'Amru bin Yahya - said; "Can you show me how the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam performs ablution?" Abdullah bin Zaid answered; "Yes," then he asked for ablution water, then he poured water into his hands while washing his hands twice, gargling and istintsar (removing water from the nose) three times, washing his face three times, washing his hands up to the elbows twice-twice, then rubbed his head with both hands starting from the front of the head to the back and then back to the original place. After that, wash his feet (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 434.) 3rd Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. عُثْمَانَ بْنْ الله عليه وسلم ـ تَوَضَّأَ فَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ مَرَّةً .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Abbad bin Al 'Awwam] from [Hajjaj] from ['Atho`] from [Uthman bin 'Affan] said; "I saw Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam perform ablution and then wipe his head once (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 435.) 4th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing رَأْسَهُ مَرَّةً .. Has told us [Hannad bin As Sarri] said, has told us [Abul Ahwash] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Abu Hayyah] from [Ali] he said; "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam rubbed his head once (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 436.) 5th Hadith. God bless you God bless you مَوْلَى سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind رَأْسَهُ مَرَّةً .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Al Harist Al Mishri] said, has told us [Yahya bin Rasyid Al Bashri] from [Yazid] -Salamah's former slave- from [Salamah bin Al Akwa'] he said; "I saw Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam perform ablution and then wipe his head once (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 437.) 6th Hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings .. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Ali bin Muhammad] both said; has told us [Waki'] from [Sufyan] from [Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqil] from [Ar Rubayyi' bint Mu'awwidz bin Afra'] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam performed ablution and wiped his head twice (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 438.) 7th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ God willing God willing God willing وَبَاطِنَهُمَا .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Abdullah bin Idris] from [Ibn 'Ajlan] from [Zaid] from [Atho` bin Yasar] from [Ibn 'Abbas] said; "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam rubbed the inside of his ears with his two index fingers, and the back with his two thumbs, until he rubbed them inside and out (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 439.) 8th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing وسلم ـ تَوَضَّأَ فَمَسَحَ ظَاهِرَ أُذُنَيْهِ وَبَاطِنَهُمَا .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Sharik] said, has told us [Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqil] from [Ar Rubayyi'] said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam performed ablution then wiped his ears on the inside and outside (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 440.) 9th Hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ الرُّبَيِّعْ Allah's blessings إِصْبَعَيْهِ فِي جُحْرَىْ أُذُنَيْهِ .. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Ali bin Muhammad] both said; has told us [Waki'] from [Al Hasan bin Salih] from [Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqil] from [Ar Rubayyi' bint Mu'awwidz bin Afra'] he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam performed ablution and then he put his two fingers into the ear holes (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 441.) 10th Hadith. God bless you God willing God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind بِرَأْسِهِ وَأُذُنَيْهِ ظَاهِرَهُمَا وَبَاطِنَهُمَا .. Has told us [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] said, has told us [Al Walid] said, has told us [Hariz bin Uthman] from [Abdurrahman bin Maisarah] from [Al Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib] said; "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam performed ablution, then wiped his head and both ears both inside and out (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 442.) 11th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing " الأُذُنَانِ مِنَ الرَّأْسِ " .. Has told us [Suwaid bin Sa'id] said, has told us [Yahya bin Zakaria bin Abu Za`idah] from [Syu'bah] from [Habib bin Zaid] from [Abbad bin Tamim] from [Abdullah bin Zaid] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Both ears are part of the head (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 443.) 12th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing """ . وَكَانَ يَمْسَحُ رَأْسَهُ مَرَّةً وَكَانَ يَمْسَحُ الْمَأْقَيْنِ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ziyad] said, has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] from [Sinan bin Rabi'ah] from [Syahr bin Hausyab] from [Abu Umamah] said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The two ears are part of the head." And he rubbed his head once and rubbed his two earlobes (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 444.) 13th Hadith. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] said, has told us ['Amru bin Al Hushain] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin 'Ulatsah] from [Abdul Karim Al Jazari] from [Sa'id Ibnul Musayyab] from [Abu Hurairah] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The two ears are part of the head (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 445.) 14th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you God bless you God willing God willing تَوَضَّأَ فَخَلَّلَ أَصَابِعَ رِجْلَيْهِ بِخِنْصِرِهِ . God bless you يَحْيَى الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ .. Has told us [Muhammad Ibnul Mushaffa Al Himshi] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Himyar] from [Ibn Lahi'ah] said, has told me [Yazid bin 'Amru Al Ma'afiri] from [Abu Abdurrahman Al Hubuli] from [Al Mustaurid bin Syaddad] he said; "I saw the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam perform ablution and then intersect his toes with his little toe." Abu Al Hasan bin Salamah said; has told us Khazim bin Yahya Al Hulwani said, has told us Qutaibah said, has told us Ibn Lahi'ah then he mentioned the above hadith (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 446.) 15th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِ يَدَيْكَ وَرِجْلَيْكَ " .. Has told us [Ibrahim bin Sa'id Aljauhari] said, has told us [Sa'd bin Abdul Hamid bin Ja'far] from [Ibn Abu Az Zinad] from [Musa bin Uqbah] from [Salih] the former slave of At Tau`amah, from [Ibn 'Abbas] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If you want to perform prayer then complete the ablution, and put water between your fingers and your two feet (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 447.) 16th Hadith. God willing يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ الطَّائِفِيُّ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ لَقِيطِ بْنِ صَبِرَةَ، عَنْ God willing أَسْبِغِ الْوُضُوءَ وَخَلِّلْ بَيْنَ الأَصَابِعِ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Yahya bin Sulaim Ath Tha`ifi] from [Isma'il bin Katsir] from ['Ashim bin Laqith bin Shabrah] from [his father] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Perfect the ablution and the gaps between the fingers (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 448.) 17th Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing God willing عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ حَرَّكَ خَاتَمَهُ .. Has told us [Abdul Malik bin Muhammad Ar Raqasyi] said, has told us [Ma'mar bin Muhammad bin Ubaidullah bin Abu Rafi'] said, has told me [my father] from [Ubaidullah bin Abu Rafi'] from [his father] said, "When performing ablution, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam always moved his ring (Degree: sahih. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 449.) 18th Hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ هِلاَلِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you أَسْبِغُوا الْوُضُوءَ " .. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Ali bin Muhammad] both said; has told us [Waki'] from [Sufyan] from [Mansur] from [Hilal bin Yasaf] from [Abu Yahya] from [Abdullah bin 'Amru] he said; "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam saw a people who were performing ablution, but their heels were still dry, so he said: "Heels that are not washed with ablution water will go to hell, complete your ablution." Aisyah's father said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Heels that are not washed with ablution water will go to hell (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 450.) 19th hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا may Allah bless him and give him peace God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَهُوَ يَتَوَضَّأُ فَقَالَتْ أَسْبِغِ الْوُضُوءَ فَإِنِّي God willing وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَاقِيبِ مِنَ النَّارِ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah] said, has told us [Abdullah bin Raja` Al Makki] from [Ibn 'Ajlan]. And according to another line; Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] and [Abu Khalid bin Ahmar] from [Muhammad bin 'Ajlan] from [Sa'id bin Abu Sa'id] from [Abu Salamah] he said; [Aisyah] saw Abdurrahman performing ablution, then she said; "Perfect your ablution. Indeed, I heard Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Araqib (vein on the heel) which is not washed with ablution water will go to hell (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 452.) 20th hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ "" مِنَ النَّارِ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Abdul Malik bin Abu Asy Syawarib] said, has told us [Abdul Aziz Ibnul Mukhtar] said, has told us [Suhail] from [his father] from [Abu Hurairah] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Heels that are not washed with ablution water will go to hell (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 453.) 21st Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing كَرِبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ "" لِلْعَرَاقِيبِ مِنَ النَّارِ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Abu Al Ahwash] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Sa'id bin Abu Karib] from [Jabir bin Abdullah] he said; I heard Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Araqib (the vein above the heel) who is not washed with ablution water will go to hell (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 454.) 22nd Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing God bless you وَشُرَحْبِيلَ ابْنِ حَسَنَةَ، وَعَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، كُلُّ God willing قَالَ " أَتِمُّوا الْوُضُوءَ وَيْلٌ لِلأَعْقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ " .. It has been told to us that [Al 'Abbas bin Uthman] and [Uthman bin Isma'il Ad Dimasyqi] both said; has told us [Al Walid bin Muslim] said, has told us [Syaibah bin Al Ahnaf] from [Abu Sallam Al Aswad] from [Abu Salih Al Asy'ari] said, has told me [Abu Abdullah Al Asy'ari] from [Khalid bin Al Walid] and [Yazid bin Abu Sufyan] and [Syurahbil bin Hasanah] and ['Amru bin Al 'Ash] everyone heard Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Perfect the ablution, heels that are not washed with ablution water will go to hell (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 455.) 23rd Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God bless you الْكَعْبَيْنْ نَبِيِّكُمْ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Abu Al Ahwash] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Abu Hayyah] he said; I saw Ali perform ablution, then he washed the soles of his feet up to the ankles, then ([Ali]) said; "I want to show you the procedures of your Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam in purification (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 456.) 24th Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing مَعْدِيكَرِبَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ تَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلاَثًا ثَلاَثًا .. Has told us [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] said, has told us [Al Walid bin Muslim] said, has told us [Hariz bin Uthman] from [Abdurrahman bin Maisarah] from [Al Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib] said; "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam performed ablution and washed his feet three times-three times (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 457.) 25th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرَ God willing God willing God willing - God willing صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ تَوَضَّأَ وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ - فَقَالَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings أَجِدُ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ إِلاَّ الْمَسْحَ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Ibn 'Ulayyah] from [Rauh Ibnul Qasim] from [Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqil] from [Ar Rubayyi'] he said; "Ibn 'Abbas came to me and asked regarding this hadith, namely the hadith which states that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam made ablution and washed his two feet. Ibn 'Abbas said; "Man does not desire anything other than washing, whereas I do not find in the Book of Allah other than wiping (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 458.) 26th Hadith. God bless you God willing أَبِي صَخْرَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حُمْرَانَ، يُحَدِّثُ أَبَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ " مَنْ أَتَمَّ الْوُضُوءَ كَمَا أَمَرَهُ اللَّهُ فَالصَّلَوَاتُ الْمَكْتُوبَاتُ كَفَّارَاتٌ لِمَا بَيْنَهُنَّ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] said, has told us [Syu'bah] from [Jami' bin Syaddad Abu Shakhrah] said; In the mosque I heard [Humran] tell Abu Burdah that he had heard [Uthman bin 'Affan] tell from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Whoever completes ablution as Allah has commanded, the maktubah prayers will erase the sins between those prayers (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 459.) 27th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing أَنَّهُ كَانَ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَقَالَ " إِنَّهَا لاَ تَتِمُّ صَلاَةٌ لأَحَدٍ حَتَّى يُسْبِغَ الْوُضُوءَ كَمَا أَمَرَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى يَغْسِلُ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ وَيَمْسَحُ بِرَأْسِهِ وَرِجْلَيْهِ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] said, has told us [Hajjaj] said, has told us [Hammam] said, has told us [Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Abu Talhah] said, has told me [Ali bin Yahya bin Khallad] from [his father] from his uncle [Rifa'ah bin Rafi'] when he was sitting next to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "One's prayer is not will be perfect until he completes the ablution as commanded by Allah Ta'ala, washing his face and hands up to the elbows, then wiping his head and washing his feet up to his ankles (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 460.) 28th Hadith. God willing God bless you God bless you الْحَكَمِ بْنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings مِنْ مَاءٍ فَنَضَحَ بِهِ فَرْجَهُ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Bisyr] said, has told us [Zakaria bin Abu Za`idah] he said; [Mansur] said; has told us [Mujahid] from [Al Hakam bin Sufyan Ats Tsaqafi] that he once saw Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam perform ablution, then take water in the palm of his hand and sprinkle it on his genitals (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 461.) 29th Hadith. God bless you God willing God bless you God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind ـ " عَلَّمَنِي جِبْرَائِيلُ الْوُضُوءَ وَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ God willing الْوُضُوءِ " ." God willing يُوسُفَ التَّنِّيسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ .. Has told us [Ibrahim bin Muhammad Al Firwani] said, has told us [Hassan bin Abdullah] said, has told us [Ibn Lahi'ah] from [Uqail] from [Az Zuhri] from [Urwah] said; has told us [Usamah bin Zaid bin Haritsah] he said; Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said; "Jibril taught me ablution and ordered me to sprinkle water on the bottom of the cloth because of the (residual) urine that comes out after ablution (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 462.) 30th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing عليه وسلم ـ " إِذَا تَوَضَّأْتَ فَانْتَضِحْ " .. Has told us [Al Husain bin Maslamah Al Yahmidi] said, has told us [Salm bin Qutaibah] said, has told us [Al Hasan bin Ali Al Hasyimi] from [Abdurrahman Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "When you perform ablution then sprinkle (water on your genitals) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 463.) 31st Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدَ God willing God willing اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَنَضَحَ فَرْجَهُ ..
