Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God bless you Allah's blessings God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings قَالَ " سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ مِلْءَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَمِلْءَ الأَرْضِ وَمِلْءَ مَا شِئْتَ مِنْ شَىْءٍ بَعْدُ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Numair] said, has told us [Waki'] said, has told us [Al A'masy] from [Ubaid Ibnul Hasan] from [Ibn Abu Aufa] he said, "When he lifted his head from bowing, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: SAMI'A ALLAHU LIMAN HAMIDAHU RABBANAA WA LAKAL HAMDU MIL`AS SAMAAWAATI WA MIL`AL ARDLI WA MIL`A MAA SYI`TA MIN SYAI`IN BA'DU (May Allah hear the praise of the servant who praises Him. O our Lord, to You is all praise. Praise is as full as the heavens and as full as the earth, as full as You will after that) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 878.) 2nd hadith. God bless you God willing God bless you God willing فِي الْخَيْلِ . وَقَالَ آخَرُ جَدُّ فُلاَنٍ فِي الإِبِلِ . وَقَالَ آخَرُ جَدُّ فُلاَنٍ فِي الْغَنَمِ . وَقَالَ آخَرُ God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace شِئْتَ مِنْ شَىْءٍ بَعْدُ اللَّهُمَّ لاَ مَانِعَ لِمَا God bless you الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ " ." may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings لَيْسَ كَمَا يَقُولُونَ .. Has told us [Ismail bin Musa As Suddi] said, has told us [Sharik] from [Abu Umar] he said; "I heard [Abu Juhahifah] say; "When the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was praying, the companions were discussing wealth. Then someone said, "So and so's wealth lies in his horse. " Another replied, "So and so's wealth lies in his camels. Yang answered, "So and so's wealth lies in his goats. " Another replied, "So and so's wealth lies in slaves. " When Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam finished his prayer, and raised his head from the final rak'ah, he said: "ALLAHUMMA RABBANAA, WA LAKAL HAMDU MIL'AS SAMAAWAATI WA MIL'AL ARDLI WA MIL'A MAA SYI'TA MIN SAYIN BA'DU. ALLAHUMMA LAA MAANI'A LIMAA A'THAITA WALAA MU'THIYA LIMAA MANA'TA WALAA YANFA'U DZAL JADDI MINKAL JADDU (O Allah, You are our Rabb, and to You all praise is all the heavens and all the earth and all that You will besides. O Allah, no one can prevent what You have given, and no one can give for what You have prevented. It is useless to try sincere, from You is all serious effort). " He lengthened his voice seriously, so that they would know that he was not who they were talking about (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 879.) 3rd Hadith. God willing God willing God willing مَيْمُونَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ God willing أَنْ تَمُرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ لَمَرَّتْ .. It has been told to us [Hisyam bin Ammar] said, it has been told to us [Sufyan bin Uyainah] from [Ubaidullah bin Al Asham] from his uncle [Yazid bin Al Asham] from [Maimunah] said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, if he prostrates, keeps his hands away from his stomach, if a goat passes between his hands, he will surely be able to pass through (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 880.) 4th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي بِالْقَاعِ مِنْ نَمِرَةَ فَمَرَّ بِنَا God willing كُنْ فِي بَهْمِكَ حَتَّى آتِيَ هَؤُلاَءِ الْقَوْمَ فَأُسَائِلَهُمْ . قَالَ فَخَرَجَ وَجِئْتُ- فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَحَضَرْتُ God bless you عُفْرَتَىْ إِبْطَىْ رَسُولْ كُلَّمَا سَجَدَ. قَالَ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ النَّاسُ يَقُولُونَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. اللَّهِ" God bless you وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ God willing أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ نَحْوَهُ.. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Waki'] from [Dawud bin Qais] from [Ubaidullah bin Abdullah bin Aqram Al Khuza'i] from [his father] he said; "I was with my father in a valley in the Namirah area, suddenly a group of horsemen passed us and got off at the end of the road, my father then said to me, "Stay on your rock until I come and ask them. " He said; "The group came out and I approached, it turned out that the group was the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. When the time for prayer came I prayed with them until I could see the whiteness of the two armpits of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam when he prostrated. " Ibnu Majah said; "People said; "Ubaidullah bin Abdullah." And [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said; "Abdullah bin Ubaidullah said; has told us [Muhammad bin Bashyar] said, has told us ['Abdurrahman bin Mahdi] and [Shafwan bin Isa] and [Abu Dawud] they said; has told us [Dawud bin Qais] from [Ubaidullah bin Abdullah bin Arqam] from [his father] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, as in the hadith (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 881.) 5th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind. يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ God bless you رُكْبَتَيْهّ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ قَبْلَ رُكْبَتَيْهِ .. Has told us [Al Hasan bin Ali Al Khallal] said, has told us [Yazid bin Harun] said, has told us [Sharik] from [Ashim bin Kulaib] from [his father] from [Wa`il bin Hujr] he said; "I saw the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, when he was prostrating he put his knees before his hands. And when he got up from prostration he raised his hands before his knees (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 882.) 6th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنْ God bless you أَعْظُمٍ " .. Has told us [Bisyr bin Mu'adz Adl Dlarir] said, has told us [Abu Awanah] and [Hammad bin Zaid] from [Amru bin Dinar] from [Thawus] from [Ibn Abbas] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "I was ordered to prostrate on seven bones (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 883.) 7th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing رَسُولُ اللَّهْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعٍ وَلاَ أَكُفَّ شَعَرًا وَم . قَالَ ابْنُ طَاوُسlam وَالرُّكْبَتَيْنِ وَالْقَدَمَيْنِ وَكَانَ يَعُدُّ الْجَبْهَةَ وَالأَنْفَ وَاحِدًا .. Has told us [Hisyam bin Ammar] said, has told us [Sufyan] from [Ibn Thawus] from [his father] from [Ibn Abbas] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "I was ordered to prostrate on seven (bones) without holding back hair and cloth." Ibn Thawus said; "My father said; "(Namely) two hands, two knees and two soles of the feet," and he counted one between the forehead and the nose (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 884.) 8th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings يَقُولُ " إِذَا سَجَدَ الْعَبْدُ سَجَدَ مَعَهُ سَبْعَةُ آرَابٍ: وَجْهُهُ وَكَفَّاهُ وَرُكْبَتَاهُ وَقَدَمَاهُ " .. Has told us [Ya'qub bin Humaid bin Kasib] said, has told us [Abdul Aziz bin Abu Hazim] from [Yazid bin Al Had] from [Muhammad bin Ibrahim At Taimi] from [Amir bin Sa'd] from [Al Abbas bin Abdul Muthallib] that he once heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "When a slave prostrates he should prostrate on seven limbs; face, two hands, two knees and two soles of the feet (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 885.) 9th Hadith. God willing God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you God willing سَجَدَ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Waki'] said, has told us [Abbad bin Rasyid] from [Al Hasan] said, has told us [Ahmar] a friend of Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said, "We felt sorry for Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam when he moved his hands away from his side when prostrating (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 886.) 10th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind عَبْدُ اللَّهْ God bless you God bless you لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ {فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ} قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " اجْعَلُوهَا فِي رُكُوعِكُمْ " . فَلَمَّا نَزَلَتْ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى} قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " .. Has told us [Amru bin Rafi' Al Bajali] said, has told us [Abdullah Ibnul Mubarak] from [Musa bin Ayyub Al Ghafiqi] said; "I heard [Iyas bin Amir] say; "I heard [Uqbah bin Amir Al Juhani] say, "When the verse was revealed; (Sanctify the name of your Lord, the Most High), Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said to us: "Do it in your prostration (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 887.) 11th Hadith. Quotes message الأَعْلَى " ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Rumh Al Mishri] said, has reported to us [Ibn Lahi'ah] from [Ubaidullah bin Abu Ja'far] from [Abu Al Azhar] from [Hudzaifah Al Yamani] that he heard Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam say while bowing: "SUBHAANA RABBIYAL 'AZHIM (Glory be to my Lord, the Most Great) three times. And when prostrating say; SUBHAANA RABBIYAL A'LA (Glory be to my Lord, Most High) three times (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 888.) 12th Hadith. God bless you God bless you God willing يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ فِي رُكُوعِهِ وَسُجُم سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ. " . يَتَأَوَّلُ الْقُرْآنَ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah] said, has told us [Jarir] from [Mansur] from [Abu Dhluha] from [Masruq] from [Aisyah] he said; "In bowing and prostrating, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam increased his prayers: "SUBHAANAKA ALLAHUMMA WA BI HAMDIKA ALLAHUMMA IGHFIR LII" (Glory be to You, O Allah, and by praising You, O Allah, forgive me," he interpreted the Qur'an) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 889.) 13th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing God willing God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَلْيَقُلْ فِي رُكُوعِهِ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيمِ . God willing God bless you الأَعْلَى ثَلاَثًا. سُجُودُهُ، وَذَلِكَ أَدْنَاهُ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Khallad Al Bahili] said, has told us [Waki'] from [Ibn Abu Dzi`b] from [Ishaq bin Yazid Al Hudzali] from [Aun bin Abdullah bin Utbah] from [Ibn Mas'ud] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "When one of you bows then say: SUBHAANA RABBIYA AL 'AZHIIM (Glory be to my Rabb, the Most High) three times, if you do that then your bow is complete. And if you prostrate, then say "SUBHAANA RABBIYA AL A'LAA (Glory be to my Rabb, the Most High) three times, if you do. then the prostration is complete. And that is the lightest reading (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 890.) 14th Hadith. God bless you God willing رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ "" أَحَدُكُما افْتِرَاشَ الْكَلْبِ " .. Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] said, has told us [Waki'] from [Al A'masy] from [Abu Sufyan] from [Jabir] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "When one of you prostrates, do it evenly, and do not spread his hands like a dog (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 891.) 15th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَم God bless you أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " اعْتَدِلُوا فِي السُّجُودِ، وَلاَ يَسْجُدْ أَحَدُكُمْ وَهُوَ بَاسِطٌ ذِرَاعَيْهِ كَالْكَلْبِ " .. It has been told to us [Nashr bin Ali Al Jahdlami] said, it has been told to us [Abdul A'la] said, it has been told to us [Sa'id] from [Qatadah] from [Anas bin Malik] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Be balanced when you prostrate, and do not let one of you prostrate by spreading his elbows apart like a dog (Degree: sahih. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 892.) 16th Hadith. God willing يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ، عَنْ God willing God bless you رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ لَمْ يَسْجُدْ حَتَِ قَائِمًا، فَإِذَا سَجَدَ فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ، لَمْ يَسْجُدْ God bless you الْيُسْرَى .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Yazid bin Harun] from [Husain Al Mu'allim] from [Budail] from [Abu Al Jauza`] from [Aisyah] he said; "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, if he wanted to lift his head from bowing, he did not do it until he was upright and balanced. And if he prostrated and then raised his head, he did not (will) prostrate until he was sitting and balanced, and he spread his left leg (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 893.) 17th Hadith. God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لاَ تُقْعِ بَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ " .. Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] said, has told us [Ubaidullah bin Musa] from [Isra'il] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Al Harith] from [Ali] he said; "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said to me: "Do not sit Iq'a (sit with your buttocks on the floor and straighten your calves) between two prostrations (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 894.) 18th Hadith. God bless you God bless you God bless you God willing God bless you " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Tsawab] said, has told us [Abu Nu'aim An Nakha'i] from [Abu Malik] from ['Ashim bin Kulaib] from [His father] from [Abu Musa] and [Abu Ishaq] from [Al Harith] from [Ali] he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "O Ali, do not sit like a dog sits (in prayer) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 895.) 19th hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing God bless you قَالَ لِي النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِذَا رَفَعْتَ رَأْسَكَ مِنَ السُّجُودْ God bless you قَدَمَيْكَ بِالأَرْضِ " .. Has told us [Al Hasan bin Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah] said, has told us [Yazid bin Harun] said, has told us [Al 'Ala Abu Muhammad] he said; I heard [Anas bin Malik] say; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said to me: "When you lift your head from prostration, then do not sit as a dog sits. Place your buttocks between your legs, and stick the tops of your feet to the ground (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 896.) 20th hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing God willing God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وسلم ـ كَانَ يَقُولُ بَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ " رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي، رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي " .. Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] said, has told us [Hafsh bin Ghiyats] said, has told us [Al 'Ala Ibnul Musayyab] from [Amru bin Murrah] from [Thalhah bin Yazid] from [Hudzaifah]. (in another line it is stated; Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] said, has told us [Hafsh bin Ghiyat] from [Al A'masy] from [Sa'd bin Ubaidah] from [Al Mustaurid Ibnul Ahnaf] from [Shillah bin Zufar] from [Hudzaifah] said; "When sitting between two prostrations the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "RABBIGHFIRLI RABBIGHFIRLI (O Allah forgive me, O Allah forgive me) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 897.) 21st Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُم God bless you God bless you God willing قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ God bless you اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِى وَارْفَعْنِي " .. Has told us [Abu Kuraib Muhammad bin Al 'Ala] said, has told us [Isma'il bin Shubaih] from [Kamil Abul 'Ala] he said; I heard [Habib bin Abu Thabit] tell [Sa'id bin Jubair] from [Ibnu Abbas] he said; "In the evening prayer Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam read between two prostrations; "RABBIGHFIRLI, WARHAMNI, WAJBURNI, WARZUQNI, WARFA'NI" (O my Lord, forgive me, have mercy on me, correct my doubts, bestow my sustenance and raise my rank) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 898.) 22nd Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَمِيكَائِيلَ وَعَلَى فُلاَنٍ وَفُلاَنٍ . يَعْنُونَ God bless you. God bless you. God bless you وسلم ـ فَقَالَ " لاَ تَقُولُوا السَّلاَمُ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ السَّلاَمُ فَإِذَا جَلَسْتُمْ فَقُولُوا God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you God bless you عَبْدٍ صَالِحٍ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ . أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَرَسُولُهُ " . حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، God willing message God willing God willing مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ نَحْوَهُ . God bless you God willing God willing مَسْعُودٍ، ح قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي God willing God willing God willing التَّشَهُّدَ. فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Numair] said, has told us [my father] said, has told us [Al A'masy] from [Syaqiq bin Salamah] from [Abdullah bin Mas'ud]. (in another way it is mentioned) Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Khallad Al Bahili] said, has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] said, has told us [Al A'masy] from [Syaqiq] from [Abdullah bin Mas'ud] he said; "When we pray with the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, we say: AS SALAAMU 'ALA ALLAHI QABLA IBAADIHI, AS SALAAMU 'ALA JIBRA`IIL WA MIKAA`IIL WA 'ALA FULAN WA FULAN - what they mean is the angels -. Then the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam heard this, so he said: "Do not say AS SALAAMU 'ALA ALLAHI, because AS SALAAMU is Allah. If you sit down (tasyahud) then say; AT TAHIYYATU LILLAH WASH SHALAWATU WATH THAYYIBAT AS SALAAMU 'ALAIKA AYYUHAN NABIU WA RAHMATULLAHI WA BARAKA'ATUH, AS SALAAMU 'ALAINA WA 'ALA IBAADILAHISH SHALIHIIN (All honor belongs to Allah, prayer and righteous deeds. May Allah's safety, mercy and blessings be upon you, O Prophet -sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam- and also to the righteous servants of Allah). Indeed, if he said that, it would cover all righteous servants both in heaven and on earth. ASYHADU AN LAA ILAAHA ILLAALLAHU WA ASYHADU ANNA MUHAMMADAN 'ANDUHU WA RASUULUHU (I testify that there is no God but Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger). " Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] said, has told us [Abdurrazaq] said, has told us [Ats Tsauri] from [Mansur] and [Al A'masy] and [Hushain] and [Abu Hasyim] and [Hammad] from [Abu Wa`il] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Al Aswad] from [Abul Ahwash] from [Abdullah bin Mas'ud] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam as in the hadith. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ma'mar] said, has told us [Qabishah] said, has told us [Sufyan] from [Al A'masy] and [Mansur] from [Abu Wa`il] from [Abu Ubaidah] from [Al Aswad] from [Abul Al Ahwash] from [Abdullah bin Mas'ud] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam taught them tasyahud, then he mentioned as in the hadith (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 899.) 23rd Hadith. Has told us [Jamil Ibnul Hasan] said, has told us [Abdul A'la] said, has told us [Sa'id] of [Qatadah]. (in another way it is stated) Has told us ['Abdurrahman bin Umar] said, has told us [Ibn Abu Adi] said, has told us [Sa'id bin Abu Arubah] and [Hisyam bin Abu Abdullah] from [Qatadah], and this is the hadith of 'Abdurrahman, from [Yunus bin Jubair] from [Hithan bin Abdullah] from [Abu Musa Al Asy'ari] said; "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam preached before us, explaining the sunnah and teaching us to pray. He said: "If you pray and sit in tasyahud, then the first thing you say is; "ATTAHIYYAATUTH THAYYIBAATUSH SHALAWAATU LILLAH AS SALAAMU 'ALAIKA AYYUHAN NABIYYU WA RAHNMATULLAHI WA BARAKA'ATUH AS SALAAMU 'ALAINA WA 'ALAA 'IBAADILLAHISH SHAALIHIIN ASYHADU AN LAA ILAAHA ILLA ALLAHU WA ASYHADU ANNA MUHAMMADAN 'ABDUHUU WA RASUULUH (All respect, righteous deeds and prayers belong to Allah alone. May Allah's salvation, mercy and blessings be upon you, O Prophet -peace be upon him- and also to the righteous servants of Allah. I testify that there is no God but Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger." These are the seven sentences that open the prayer (Degree: authentic. He replied: "Say it; ALLAHUMMA SHALLI 'ALA MUHAMMADIN ABDIKA WA RASUULIKA KAMAA SHALLAITA 'ALA IBRAHIM WA BAARIK 'ALA MUHAMMADIN WA 'ALA ALI MUHAMMADIN KAMAA BAARAKTA 'ALA IBRAHIM (O Allah, give blessings to Muhammad, Your servant and Messenger, as You gave blessings to Ibrahim. Hadits ke-25. حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي لَيْلَى، قَالَ لَقِيَنِي كَعْبُ بْنُ عُجْرَةَ فَقَالَ أَلاَ أُهْدِي لَكَ هَدِيَّةً خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَقُلْنَا قَدْ عَرَفْنَا السَّلاَمَ عَلَيْكَ فَكَيْفَ الصَّلاَةُ عَلَيْكَ قَالَ " قُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى، إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ. اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ " .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ali bin Muhammad] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Waki'] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syu'bah]. (dalam jalur lain disebutkan) Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Basysyar] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Abdurrahman bin Mahdi] dan [Muhammad bin Ja'far] keduanya berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] dari [Al Hakam] ia berkata; aku mendengar [Ibnu Abu Laila] berkata; [Ka'ab bin Ujrah] menemuiku dan berkata; "Maukah kamu aku beri suatu hadiah? Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam keluar menemui kami, lalu kami bertanya, "Kami telah mengetahui bagaimana salam kepadamu, lalu bagaimana cara shalawat kepadamu?" beliau menjawab: "Ucapkanlah; ALLAHUMMA SHALLI 'ALA MUHAMMADIN WA 'ALA ALI MUHAMMADIN KAMAA SHLLAITA 'ALA IBRAHIM INNAKA HAMIDUN MAJIIDUN. ALLAHUMMA BAARIK 'ALA MUHAMMADIN WA 'ALA ALI MUHAMMADIN KAMAA BAARAKTA 'ALA IBRAHIM INNAKA HAMIIDUN MAJIIDUN (Ya Allah, berilah shalawat kepada Muhammad dan keluarganya sebagaimana Engkau memberi shalawat kepada Ibrahim dan keluarganya. Hadits ke-26. حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ طَالُوتَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْمَاجِشُونُ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ، أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أُمِرْنَا بِالصَّلاَةِ عَلَيْكَ فَكَيْفَ نُصَلِّي عَلَيْكَ فَقَالَ " قُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَزْوَاجِهِ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَبَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَزْوَاجِهِ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي الْعَالَمِينَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ " .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ammar bin Thalut] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdul Malik bin Abdul Aziz Al Majisyun] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Malik bin Anas] dari [Abdulah bin Abu Bakr bin Muhammad bin Amru bin Hazm] dari [Bapaknya] dari [Amru bin Sulaim Az Zuraqi] dari [Abu Humaid As Sa'idi] bahwasanya mereka berkata; "Wahai Rasulullah, kami diperintahkan untuk bershalawat kepadamu, lalu bagaimana cara kami bershalawat?" beliau menjawab: " Ucapkanlah; ALLAHUMMA SHALLI 'ALA MUHAMMADIN WA AZAWAAJIHI WA DZURRIYATIHI KAMAA SHALLAITA 'ALA IBRAHIM WA BAARIK 'ALA MUHAMMADIN WA AZWAAJIHI WA DZURRIAYITIHI KAMAA BAARAKTA 'ALA ALI IBRAHIM FIL 'ALAMIINA INNAKA HAMIIDUN MAJIIDUN (Ya Allah, berilah shalawat kepada Muhammad, isteri-isteri dan keturunannya sebagaimana Engkau bershalawat kepada Ibrahim. Dan berkahilah Muhammad, isteri-isteri dan keturunannya sebagaimana Engkau memberkahi Ibrahim dan keluarganya di antara manusia sealam raya. Hadits ke-27. حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ بَيَانٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي فَاخِتَةَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ إِذَا صَلَّيْتُمْ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَأَحْسِنُوا الصَّلاَةَ عَلَيْهِ فَإِنَّكُمْ لاَ تَدْرُونَ لَعَلَّ ذَلِكَ يُعْرَضُ عَلَيْهِ . قَالَ فَقَالُوا لَهُ فَعَلِّمْنَا . قَالَ قُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ صَلاَتَكَ وَرَحْمَتَكَ وَبَرَكَاتِكَ عَلَى سَيِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَإِمَامِ الْمُتَّقِينَ وَخَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ إِمَامِ الْخَيْرِ وَقَائِدِ الْخَيْرِ وَرَسُولِ الرَّحْمَةِ اللَّهُمَّ ابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا يَغْبِطُهُ بِهِ الأَوَّلُونَ وَالآخِرُونَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Husain bin Bayan] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ziyad bin Abdullah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Mas'udi] dari [Aun bin Abdullah] dari [Abu Fakhitah] dari [Al Aswad bin Yazid] dari [Abdullah bin Mas'ud] ia berkata; "Jika kalian membaca shalawat kepada Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam maka baguskanlah, sebab kalian tidak tahu, bisa jadi shalawat itu dihadirkan di hadapannya (Rasulullah). " Al Aswad berkata; "Orang-orang pun berkata Abdullah bin Mas'ud, "Ajarkanlah kepada kami, " Abdullah bin Mas'ud berkata; "Bacalah; ALLAHUMMA IJ'AL SHALAATAKA WA RAHMATAKA WA BARAKA'ATIKA 'ALA SAYYIDIL MURSALIIN WA IMAAMIL MUTTAQIIN WA KHAATAMIN NABIYYIN MUHAMMADIN 'ABDIKA WA RASUULIKA IMAAMIL KHAIRI WA QAA`IDIL KHAIRI WA RASUULIR RAHMAH. ALLAHUMMAB'ATSHU MAQAAMAN MAHMUUDAN YAGHBITHUHU BIHIL AWWALIIN WAL AKHIRIIN. ALLAHUMMA SHALLI 'ALA MUHAMMADIN WA 'ALA ALI MUHAMMADIN KAMAA SHALLAITA 'ALA IBRAHIM WA 'ALA ALI IBRAHIM INNAKA HAMIIDUN MAJIIDUN. ALLAHUMMA BAARIK 'ALA MUHAMMAD WA 'ALA ALI MUHAMMADIN KAMAA BAARAKTA 'ALA IBRAHIM WA 'ALA ALI IBRAHIM INNAKA HAMIIDUN MAJIIDUN (Ya Allah, jadikanlah shalawat, rahmat dan berkah-Mu kepada pemimpin para Nabi yang diutus, imam orang-orang yang bertakwa dan penutup para Nabi, Muhammad, hamba dan rasul-Mu. Seorang imam dan pemimpin kebaikan, serta rasul pembawa rahmat. Ya Allah, bangkitkanlah ia pada kedudukan yang terpuji, kedudukan yang menjadikan iri orang-orang terdahulu dan yang akan datang. Ya Allah, berilah shalawat kepada Muhammad dan keluarganya sebagaimana Engkau memberi shalawat kepada Ibrahim dan keluarganya. Sesungguhnya Engkau Maha Terpuji dan Maha Agung. Ya Allah, berkahilah Muhammad dan keluarganya sebagaimana Engkau telah memberkahi Ibrahim dan keluarganya. Sesungguhnya Engkau Maha Terpuji dan Maha Agung) (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-28. حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ أَبُو بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يُصَلِّي عَلَىَّ إِلاَّ صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ مَا صَلَّى عَلَىَّ فَلْيُقِلَّ الْعَبْدُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ أَوْ لِيُكْثِرْ " .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Bakr bin Khalaf Abu Bisyr] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Khalid bin Al Harits] dari [Syu'bah] dari [Ashim bin Ubaidullah] ia berkata; aku mendengar [Abdullah bin Amir bin Rabi'ah] dari [Bapaknya] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau bersabda: "Tidaklah seorang muslim bershalawat kepadaku kecuali para malaikat akan mendo'akan kepadanya sebagaimana ia bershalawat kepadaku, maka ucapkanlah shalawat baik sedikit atau banyak (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-29. حَدَّثَنَا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ الْمُغَلِّسِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مَنْ نَسِيَ الصَّلاَةَ عَلَىَّ خَطِئَ طَرِيقَ الْجَنَّةِ " .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Jubarah bin Al Mughallas] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammad bin Zaid] dari [Amru bin Dinar] dari [Jabir bin Zaid] dari [Ibnu Abbas] ia berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Barangsiapa lupa bershalawat kepadaku, maka ia akan keliru menempuh jalan ke surga (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-30. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي حَسَّانُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِذَا فَرَغَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنَ التَّشَهُّدِ الأَخِيرِ فَلْيَتَعَوَّذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ أَرْبَعٍ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ " .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim Ad Dimasyqi] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Walid bin Muslim] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Auza'i] berkata, telah menceritakan kepadaku [Hassan bin Athiah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepadaku [Muhammad bin Abu Aisyah] ia berkata; "Aku mendengar [Abu Hurairah] berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Jika salah seorang dari kalian selesai membaca tasyahud akhir hendaklah berlindung kepada Allah dari empat perkara; dari siksa neraka jahannam, siksa kubur, fitnah kehidupan dan fitnah setelah mati serta dari fitnah Al Masih Dajjal (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-31. حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَطَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ لِرَجُلٍ " مَا تَقُولُ فِي الصَّلاَةِ " . قَالَ أَتَشَهَّدُ ثُمَّ أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَعُوذُ بِهِ مِنَ النَّارِ أَمَا وَاللَّهِ مَا أُحْسِنُ دَنْدَنَتَكَ وَلاَ دَنْدَنَةَ مُعَاذٍ . فَقَالَ " حَوْلَهُمَا نُدَنْدِنُ " .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yusuf bin Musa Al Qaththan] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Jarir] dari [Al A'masy] dari [Abu Shalih] dari [Abu Hurairah] ia berkata; "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bertanya seorang laki-laki: "Apa yang engkau baca ketika shalat?" ia menjawab, "Aku membaca tasyahud, kemudian meminta surga kepada Allah dan berlindung kepada-Nya dari neraka. Namun demi Allah, aku tidak dapat mendengar dandanahmu dan juga dandanah Mu'adz. " Beliau lantas bersabda: "Aku melakukan dandanah seputar surga (atau neraka) (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-32. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ عِصَامِ بْنِ قُدَامَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَاضِعًا يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى فِي الصَّلاَةِ وَيُشِيرُ بَإِصْبَعِهِ .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Waki'] dari [Isham bin Qudamah] dari [Malik bin Numair Al Khuza'i] dari [Bapaknya] ia bersabda, "Dalam shalat aku melihat Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam meletakkan tangan kanan di atas paha kanannya dan berisyarat dengan jari (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-33. حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَدْ حَلَّقَ الإِبْهَامَ وَالْوُسْطَى وَرَفَعَ الَّتِي تَلِيهِمَا يَدْعُو بِهَا فِي التَّشَهُّدِ .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ali bin Muhammad] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Idris] dari ['Ashim bin Kulaib] dari [Bapaknya] dari [Wa`il bin Hujr] ia berkata, "Aku melihat Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melingkarkan antara ibu jari dan jari tengah, lalu mengangkat jari setelahnya (telunjuk), beliau berdo'a dengan itu saat tasyahud (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-34. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ إِذَا جَلَسَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ وَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ وَرَفَعَ إِصْبَعَهُ الْيُمْنَى الَّتِي تَلِي الإِبْهَامَ فَيَدْعُو بِهَا وَالْيُسْرَى عَلَى رُكْبَتِهِ بَاسِطَهَا عَلَيْهَا .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Yahya] dan [Al Hasan bin Ali] dan [Ishaq bin Manshur] mereka berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdurrazaq] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ma'mar] dari [Ubaidullah] dari [Nafi'] dari [Ibnu Umar] berkata, "Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam apabila duduk dalam shalat beliau meletakkan kedua tangan di atas kedua pahanya, lalu beliau mengangkat jari kanannya, yakni jari setelah ibu jari (telunjuk) dan berdo`a dengannya. Sedangkan tangan kirinya di atas paha sebelah kiri dengan posisi membentang (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 913.) Hadits ke-38. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَامِرِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ صَلَّى بِنَا عَلِيٌّ يَوْمَ الْجَمَلِ صَلاَةً ذَكَّرَنَا صَلاَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَإِمَّا أَنْ نَكُونَ نَسِينَاهَا وَإِمَّا أَنْ نَكُونَ تَرَكْنَاهَا فَسَلَّمَ عَلَى يَمِينِهِ وَعَلَى شِمَالِهِ .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Amir bin Zurarah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin 'Ayyasy] dari [Abu Ishaq] dari [Buraid bin Abu Maryam] dari [Abu Musa] dia berkata, "Ali shalat mengimami kami pada saat perang Jamal, shalat yang mengingatkan kami akan shalat Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam.
