Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وسلم ـ يُعَلِّمُنَا أَنْ لاَ نُبَادِرَ الإِمَامَ بِالرُّكُوعِ message فَاسْجُدُوا .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Ubaid] from [Al A'masy] from [Abu Salih] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam taught us not to precede the imam when bowing and prostrating; if the imam is takbir then takbirlah and if the imam is prostrating then prostrating (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 960.) 2nd hadith. God bless you قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you رَأْسَهُ رَأْسَ حِمَارٍ؟ " .. It has been told to us that [Humaid bin Mas'adah] and [Suwaid bin Sa'id] both said; has narrated to us [Hammad bin Zaid] said, has narrated to us [Muhammad bin Ziyad] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Are you not afraid of the one who raises his head before the imam, Allah will change his head into the head of himar (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 961.) 3rd Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مُوسَى، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " God willing رَفَعْتُ فَارْفَعُوا، وَإِذَا سَجَدْتُ فَاسْجُدُم God willing السُّجُودِ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Numair] said, has told us [Abu Badr Syuja' bin Al Walid] from [Ziyad bin Khaitsamah] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Darim] from [Sa'id bin Abu Burdah] from [Abu Burdah] from [Abu Musa] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed I am old, if I bow down then bow down, if I raise your head then raise your heads, and if I bow down then bow down. I do not want anyone to precede me in bowing and prostrating (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 962.) 4th Hadith. God bless you God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنْ love قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لاَ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing .. Has told us [Hisyam bin Ammar] said, has told us [Sufyan] from [Ibn 'Ajlan]. (in another way it is mentioned) Has told us [Abu Bisyr bakr bin Khalaf] said, has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Ibnu 'Ajlan] from [Muhammad bin Yahya bin Habban] from [Ibnu Muhairiz] from [Mu'awiyah bin Abu Sufyan] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Do not go ahead of me in bowing and prostrate. Because all the bowing that I did before you, you can do while I am lifting the bow. And all the prostration that I did before you, you can do when I lift my prostration. Indeed, I am old and weak (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 963.) 5th Hadith. God willing God willing هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْهُدَيْرَ God bless you ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " إِنَّ مِنَ الْجَفَاءِ أَنْ يُكْثِرَ الرَّجُلُ مَسْحَ جَبْهَتِهِ، قَبْلَ الْفَرَاغِ مِنْ صَلاَتِهِ " .. It has been told to us ['Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim Ad Dimasyqi] said, it has been told to us [Ibn Abu Fudaik] said, it has been told to us [Harun bin Abdullah bin Al Hudair At Taimi] from [Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah] said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "One of the things that is in vain is to wipe his forehead more often before finishing his prayer. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 964.) 6th Hadith. God bless you God willing God bless you God willing تُفَقِّعْ أَصَابِعَكَ وَأَنْتَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ " .. Has told us [Yahya bin Hakim] said, has told us [Abu Qutaibah] said, has told us [Yunus bin Abu Ishaq] and [Isra'il bin Yunus] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Al Harith] from [Ali] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Do not ring your fingers while you are praying (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 965.) 7th Hadith. God willing حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدَ God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَاهُ فِي الصَّلاَةِ .. Has told us [Abu Sa'id Sufyan bin Ziyad Al Mu`addib] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Rasyid] from [Al Hasan bin Dzakwan] from ['Atho`] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade someone to cover his mouth when praying (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 966.) 8th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing شَبَّكَ أَصَابِعَهُ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَفَرَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ .. Has told us [Alqamah bin Amru Ad Darimi] said, has told us [Abu Bakr bin Ayyasy] from [Muhammad bin 'Ajlan] from [Sa'id Al Maqburi] from [Ka'ab bin Ujrah] said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam saw a man intertwining his fingers in prayer, then Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam opened his fingers (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 967.) 9th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَلْيَضَعْ يَدَهُ عَلَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَضْحَكُ مِنْهُ " .. It has been reported to us [Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah] said, it has been reported to us [Hafsh bin Ghiyats] from [Abdullah bin Sa'id Al Maqburi] from [his father] from [Abu Hurairah] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If one of you yawns, put your hand to your mouth and do not make a sound, because Satan laughs at it (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 968.) 10th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing God willing جَدِّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " ممُخَاطُ وَالْحَيْضُ وَالنُّعَاسُ فِي الصَّلاَةِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Al Fadll bin Dukain] from [Syarik] from [Abul Yaqdhan] from ['Adi bin Thabit] from [his father] from [his grandfather] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Spitting, snot, menstruation and drowsiness in prayer come from Satan (Degree: Sahih. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 969.) 11th Hadith. God willing God bless you عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنْ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " ثَلاَثَةٌ لاَ تُقْبَلُ لَهُمْ or الْقَوْمَ وَهُمْ لَهُ كَارِهُونَ، وَالرَّجُلُ م God willing الْوَقْتُ - وَمَنِ اعْتَبَدَ مُحَرَّرًا " .. Has told us [Abu Kuraib] said, has told us ['Abdah bin Sulaiman] and [Ja'far bin Aun] from [Al Ifriqi] from [Imran] from [Abdullah bin Amru] he said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Three groups whose prayers are not accepted; someone who leads a people while they don't like him, someone who doesn't pray unless the time has expired, and someone who enslaves a free person (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 970.) 12th Hadith. God bless you يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَرْحَبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ " ثَلاَثَةٌ لاَ تَرْتَفِعُ صَلاَتُهُمْ فَوْقَ God willing love وَأَخَوَانِ مُتَصَارِمَانِ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Umar bin Hayyaj] said, has told us [Yahya bin 'Abdurrahman Al Arhabi] said, has told us [Ubaidah bin Al Aswad] from [Al Qasim bin Al Walid] from [Al Minhal bin Amru] from [Sa'id bin Jubair] from [Ibn Abbas] from Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Three groups that his prayer will not be lifted even an inch from his head; a person who leads a people while they do not like him, a woman who spends the night while her husband is angry with her, and two brothers who are enemies with each other (Degree: authentic. Has told us [Hisyam bin Ammar] said, has told us [Ar Rabi' bin Badr] from [his father] from his grandfather [Amru bin Jarad] from [Abu Musa Al Asy'ari] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Two or more people are a congregation (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 972.) 14th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. Allah's blessings قَالَ بِتُّ عِنْدَ خَالَتِي مَيْمُونَةَ فَقَامَ النَّبِيُِ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings يَسَارِهِ فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي فَأَقَامَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Abdul Malik bin Abu Asy Syawarib] said, has told us [Abdul Wahid bin Ziyad] said, has told us [Ashim] from [Ash Sya'bi] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "I stayed at my aunt's place, Maimunah. Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam got up and prayed the night, then I followed and stood on his left side, but he grabbed me and put me on the side right (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 973.) 15th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings يُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ، فَجِئْتُ فَقُمْتُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، فَأَقَامَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ .. Has told us [Bakr bin Khalaf Abu Biysr] said, has told us [Abu Bakr Al Hanafi] said, has told us [Adl Dlahhak bin Uthman] said, has told us [Syurahbil] he said, "I heard [Jabir bin Abdullah], he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prayed the Maghrib prayer, then I came and stood on his left side, but he positioned me on his right side (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 974.) 16th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَأَقَامَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَصَلَّتِ الْمَرْأَةُ خَلْفَنا .. has told us [Nashr bin Ali] said, has told us [my father] said, has told us [Syu'bah] from [Abdullah Ibnul Mukhtar] from [Musa bin Anas] from [Anas] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prayed with me and a woman from his wife, then he positioned me on his right side and the woman behind us (Degree: sahih. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 975.) 17th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing God bless you وسلم ـ يَمْسَحُ مَنَاكِبَنَا فِي الصَّلاَةِ وَيَقُولُ " لاَ تَخْتَلِفُوا، فَتَخْتَلِفَ قُلُوبُكُمْ، لِيَلِيَنِي مِنْكُمْ أُولُو الأَحْلاَمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah] said, has told us [Sufyan bin Uyainah] from [Al A'masy] from [Umarah bin Umair] from [Abu Ma'mar] from [Abu Mas'ud Al Ansari] he said, "When praying Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam grabbed our shoulders, then he said: "Do not dispute until your hearts will be in conflict. Let the person behind me who understands best, then the person below him, then the person below him (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 976.) 18th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَم may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهَ وَالأَنْصَارُ، لِيَأْخُذُوا عَنْهُ .. Has told us [Nashr bin Ali Al Juhani] said, has told us [Abdul Wahhab] said, has told us [Humaid] from [Anas] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam liked it if the people behind him were the Muhajirin and Ansar so that they could guard him (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 977.) 19th hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing أَصْحَابِهِ تَأَخُّرًـ God bless you يَتَأَخَّرُونَ حَتَّى يُؤَخِّرَهُمُ اللَّهُ " .. Has told us [Abu Kuraib] said, has told us [Ibn Abu Za'idah] from [Abu Al Asyhab] from [Abu Nadlrah] from [Abu Sa'id] said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam saw in his companions people who liked to choose the last row, so he said: "Go ahead and follow me, and let the people behind follow you, there will always be a people tarry until Allah brings them to an end on the Day of Resurrection (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 978.) 20th hadith. God bless you يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ، قَالَ أَتَيْتُ God willing أَرَدْنَا الاِنْصِرَافَ قَالَ لَنَا " God willing فَأَذِّنَا وَأَقِيمَا، وَلْيَؤُمَّكُمَا أَكْبَرُكُمَا " .. Has told us [Bisyr bin Hilal Ash Shawwaf] said, has told us [Yazid bin Zurai'] from [Khalid Al Hadzdza`] from [Abu Qilabah] from [malik Ibnul Huwairits] he said, "I along with a friend of mine came to see the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, so when we were leaving he said to us: "When the time for prayer arrives, then the call to prayer and your iqamah, and let the greatest of you be an imam (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 979.) 21st Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing God bless you وسلم ـ " يَؤُمُّ الْقَوْمَ أَقْرَؤُهُمْ لِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ، فَإِنْ كَانَتْ قِرَاءَتُهُمْ سَوَاءً، فَلْيَؤُمَّهُمْ God bless you فَلْيَؤُمَّهُمْ أَكْبَرُهُمْ سِنًّا، وَلاَ يُؤَمَّ الرَّجُلُ فِي أَهْلِهِ وَلاَ فِي سُلْطَانِهِ، وَلاَ يُجْلَسْ عَلَى God willing " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] said, has told us [Syu'bah] from [Isma'il bin Raja`] He said; I heard [Aus bin Dlam'aj] he said; I heard [Abu Mas'ud] say, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Let him be the imam of a people who has memorized the Qur'an the most. If they are the same in memorization, then the first to emigrate. And if they are the same in hijrah, then the oldest. A person may not be given the priesthood in his family and authority, and may not sit in his special place except with his permission (Degree: sahih. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 980.) 22nd Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing كَانَ سَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيُّ يُقَدِّمُ فِتْيَانَ قَوْمِهِ يُصَلُّونَ بِهِمْ فَقِيلَ لَهُ تَفْعَلُ وَلَكَ مِنَ God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings أَحْسَنَ، فَلَهُ وَلَهُمْ، وَإِنْ أَسَاءَ - يَعْنِي - فَعَلَيْهِ وَلاَ عَلَيْهِمْ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Sa'id bin Sulaiman] said, has told us [Abdul Hamid bin Sulaiman] -brother Fulaih- said, has told us [Abu Hazim] he said, "[Sahl bin Sa'ad As Sa'idi] appointed a young man to be the leader of the prayers with them, then it was said to him, "You did that, even though you first converted to Islam! " He answered, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: "The Imam is a responsible person. If he acts rightly then the good is for him and for them. But if he is wrong, then the wrong is for him and not for them (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 981.) 23rd Hadith. God willing وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أُمِّ غُرَابٍ، عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ، يُقَالُ لَهَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ " يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ يَقُومُونَ سَاعَةً، لاَ يَجِدُونَ إِمَامًا يُصَلِّي بِهِمْ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Waki'] from [Ummu Ghurab] from a woman called [Aqilah], from [Salamah bint Al Hur] Kharasyah's sister, she said, "I heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "There will come a time when people will stand for a while but will not find an imam to lead them (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 982.) 24th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace وَقُلْنَا لَهُ إِنَّكَ أَحَقُّنَا بِذَلِكَ أَنْتَ صَاحِبُ God bless you God willing مَنْ أَمَّ النَّاسَ فَأَصَابَ، فَالصَّلاَةُ لَهُ وَلَهُمْ، وَمَنِ انْتَقَصَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا فَعَلَيْهِ، وَلاَ عَلَيْهِمْ " .. Has told us [Muhriz bin Salamah Al Adani] said, has told us [Ibn Abu Hazim] from ['Abdurrahman bin Harmalah] from [Abu Ali Al Hamdani] that he once traveled on a ship in which there was [uqbah bin Amir Al Juhani], then the time for prayer arrived until we asked him to be an imam for us, we said to him, "You have more right to do that, you are a friend of the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam," but he refused. He then said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Whoever becomes a priest for humans, if he is right, the reward will be for him and for them. But if not, then he bears his sins and not for them (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 983.) 25th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing God bless you صَلاَةِ الْغَدَاةِ مِنْ أَجْلِ فُلاَنٍ لِمَا يُطِيلُ بِنَا فِيهَا . قَالَ فَمَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَطُّ فِي مَوْعِظَةٍ أَشَدَّ غَضَبًا مِنْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ " يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ مِنْكُمْ مُنَفِّرِينَ فَأَيُّكُمْ مَا صَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ فَلْيُجَم فِيهِمُ الضَّعِيفَ وَالْكَبِيرَ وَذَا الْحَاجَةِ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Numair] said, has told us [my father] said, has told us [Isma'il] from [Qais] from [Abu Mas'ud] he said, "A man met the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and said, "O Rasulullah, I was late attending the morning prayer because Fulan was long in his recitation," Abu Mas'ud said, "I never saw Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam gave advice with anger as on that day, he said: "O people, indeed among you there are those who make people run away! Whoever of you prays with many people should lighten his prayer, because among them there are the weak, the old and those who have needs (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 984.) 26th Hadith. God bless you مَسْعَدَةَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنَ God willing مَالِكٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُوجِزُ وَيُتِمُّ الصَّلاَةَ .. Has told us [Ahmad bin Abdah] and [Humaid bin Mas'adah] both said; has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] said, has told us [Abdul Aziz bin Shuhaib] from [Anas bin Malik] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam lightened the prayer even though it was perfect (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 985.) 27th Hadith. God willing God willing مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ الأَنْصَارِيُّ بِأَصْحَابِهِ صَلاَةَ God willing عَلَيْهِمْ فَانْصَرَفَ رَجُلٌ مِنَّا love . فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلَ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings مُعَاذٌ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " أَتُرِيدُ أَنْ تَكُونَ فَتَّانًْ فَاقْرَأْ بِالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا وَسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ God willing " .. It has been told to us [Muhammad bin Rumh] said, it has been reported to us [Al Laits bin Sa'd] from [Abu Az Zubair] from [Jabir] he said, "Mu'adz bin Jabal Al Ansari performed the evening prayer with his companions, he extended the prayer until a man from us came out and prayed alone. Mu'adz was given news about that man until he said, "He is a hypocrite. "When Mu'adz's words reached the man, he went to Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and reported what Mu'adz had said. Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "O Mu'adz, are you going to create slander!
