Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ " فِي ثَلاَثِينَ مِنَ الْبَقَرِ تَبِيعٌ أَوْ تَبِيعَةٌ وَفِي أَرْبَعِينَ مُسِنَّةٌ " .. It has been told to us [Sufyan bin Waki'] said, it has been told to us by [Abdu As Salam bin Harb] from [Khashif] from [Abu Ubaidah] from [Abdullah] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "For every thirty cows his zakat is a calf that is one year old. And for every forty cows his zakat is a calf that comes in at the age of two years (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1804.) 2nd hadith. God willing God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you عِشْرِينَ وَمِائَةٍ فَإِذَا زَادَتْ وَاحِدَةً فَفِيهَا شَاتَانِ إِلَى مِائَتَيْنَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing كُلِّ مِائَةٍ شَاةٌ " . وَوَجَدْتُ فِيهِ " لاَ يُجْمَعُ بَيْنَ مَتَفَرِّقٍ وَلاَ يُفَرَّقُ بَيْنَ مُجْتَمِعٍ " . وَوَجَدْتُ فِيهِ " لاَ يُؤْخَذُ فِي الصَّدَقَةِ تَيْسٌ وَلاَ هَرِمَةٌ وَلاَ ذَاتُ عَوَارٍ " .. Has told us [Bakr bin Khalaf] said, has told us ['Abdurrahman bin Mahdi] said, has told us [Sulaiman bin Kathir] said, has told us [Ibnu Shihab] from [Salim bin Abdullah] from [his father] from Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said, "Salim once read to me a book about alms written by Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam before Allah Azza Wa Jalla passed away. Then I found in it that for every forty goats up to one hundred and twenty goats, the zakat is one goat to two hundred, then the zakat is two goats. If the zakat increases by one to three hundred, then the zakat is three not subject to zakat) or collecting zakat from two people in a union (until the amount spent by each person is less. And I also found in it that when giving zakat, old, deaf, or mountain goats should not be taken as zakat (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1805.) 3rd Hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " صَدَقَاتُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ عَلَى مِيَاهِهِمْ " .. Has told us [Abu Badr Abbad bin Al Walid] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Al Fadll] said, has told us [Ibnul Mubarak] from [Usamah bin Zaid] from [his father] from [Ibn Umar] he said, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The zakat of the muslim people is taken from the water (where their goats graze) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1806.) 4th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing هِنْدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings عِشْرِينَ وَمِائَةٍ فَإِذَا زَادَتْ وَاحِدَةً فَفِيهَا شَاتَانِ إِلَى مِائَتَيْنَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing كُلِّ مِائَةٍ شَاةٌ لاَ يُفَرَّقُ بَيْنَ مُجْتَمِعٍ وَلاَ يُجْمَعُ بَيْنَ مُتَفَرِّقٍ خَشْيَةَ الصَّدَقَةِ وَكُلُّ God willing لِلْمُصَدِّقِ هَرِمَةٌ وَلاَ ذَاتُ عَوَارٍ وَلاَ تَيْسٌ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَشَاءَ الْمُصَّدِّقُ " .. Has told us [Ahmad bin Uthman bin Hakim Al Audi] said, has told us [Abu Nu'aim] said, has told us [Abdu As Salam bin Harb] from [Yazid bin 'Abdurrahman] from [Abu Hind] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, "In forty to one hundred and twenty goats the zakat is one head. If if there is an increase of one to two hundred, then the zakat is two heads. If the zakat increases by one to three hundred heads, then the zakat is three. If there are more, then for every multiple of one hundred the zakat is one head, without separating the union between two people (until a small number of goats are not subject to zakat) or collecting zakat from two people in a union (until the amount paid by each person is less) for fear of zakat Zakat collectors may not take old, deaf or mountain goats, unless the zakat collector wishes (Degree: authentic. God willing God bless you الصَّدَقَةِ كَمَانِعِهَا " .. Has told us [Isa bin Hammad Al Mishri] said, has told us [Al Laits bin Sa'd] from [Yazid bin Abu Habib] from [Sa'd bin Sinan] from [Anas bin Malik] he said, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "People who commit mistreatment in the matter of zakat are like people who are reluctant to pay zakat (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1808.) 6th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُم God willing God willing عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنْ God bless you God willing إِلَى بَيْتِهِ " .. Has told us [Abu Kuraib] said, has told us [Abdah bin Sulaiman] and [Muhammad bin Fudlail] and [Yunus bin Bukair] from [Muhammad bin Ishaq] from [Ashim bin Umar bin Qatadah] from [Mahmud bin Labid] from [Rafi' bin Khadij] he said, "I heard Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "The puller zakat who works correctly like a warrior in the way of Allah until he returns to his home (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1809.) 7th Hadith. Allah's blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings مُوسَى بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْن God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace أَنَّهُ مَنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind الْقِيَامَةِ يَحْمِلُهُ " ." بْنُ أُنَيْسٍ بَلَى .. Has told us [Amru bin Sawwad Al Mishri] said, has told us [Ibnu Wahb] said, has told me [Amru bin Al Harith] that [Musa bin Jubair] has told him, that [Abdullah bin Abdurrahman bin Al Hubab Al Anshary] has told him, that [Abdullah bin Unais] has told him, that one day he and Umar bin Khaththab were discussing a problem zakat. [Umar] said, "Did you not hear when Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam spoke about ghulul (stealing) in the matter of zakat, "Whoever steals zakat property, whether a camel or a goat, then on the Day of Resurrection he will be brought to him and ordered to bring it. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. اسْتُعْمِلَ عَم God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مِنْ حَيْثُ كُنَّا نَأْخُذُهُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَوَضَعْنَاهُ حَيْثُ كُنَّا نَضَعُهُ .. Has told us [Abu Badr Abbad bin Al Walid] said, has told us [Abu 'Attab] said, has told me [Ibrahim bin 'Atha] -imran's former slave- said, has told us to me [my father] that [Imran bin Al Hushain] was employed to guard the zakat property. When he returned, he was asked, "Where is the zakat treasure?" he answered; "As for the zakat property for which you sent me, we took it according to where we took it at the time of the Messenger of Allah, and we put it according to where we put it (Degree: authentic. God bless you God bless you وسلم ـ " لَيْسَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ فِي عَبْدِهِ وَلاَ فِي فَرَسِهِ صَدَقَةٌ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Sufyan bin Uyainah] from [Abdullah bin Dinar] from [Sulaiman bin Yasar] from [Iraq bin Malik] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "A muslim has no obligation to pay zakat to his horses and slaves (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1812.) 10th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing تَجَوَّزْتُ لَكُمْ عَنْ صَدَقَةِ الْخَيْلِ وَالرَّقِيقِ "" .. Has told us [Sahl bin Abu Sahl] said, has told us [Sufyan bin Uyainah] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Al Harith] from [Ali] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "I free you from the zakat on horses and slaves (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1813.) 11th Hadith. Allah's blessings عَبْدُ اللَّهْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَسَارٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing مِنَ الإِبِلِ وَالْبَقَرَةَ مِنَ الْبَقَرِ " .. Has told us [Amru bin Sawwad Al Mishri] said, has told us [Abdullah bin Wahb] said, has told me [Sulaiman bin Bilal] from [Syarik bin Abu Namir] from ['Atha bin Yasar] from [Mu'adz bin Jabal] that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sent him to Yemen and said to him: "Take seed from seed, sheep from goat, camel from camel and cows from cows (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1814.) 12th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing God willing Allah's blessings وَالشَّعِيرِ وَالتَّمْرِ وَالزَّبِيبِ وَالذُّرَةِ .. Has told us [Hisyam bin Ammar] said, has told us [Isma'il bin Ayyasy] from [Muhammad bin Ubaidullah] from [Amru bin Syu'aib] from [his father] from [his grandfather] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam has prescribed zakat on five forms of food; barley flour, barley, dates, dried grapes and corn (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1815.) 13th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعْدْ يَسَارٍ، وَعَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " فِيمَا God bless you بِالنَّضْحِ نِصْفُ الْعُشْرِ " .. Has told us [Ishaq bin Musa Abu Musa Al Ansari] said, has told us ['Ashim bin Abdul Aziz bin 'Ashim] said, has told us [Al Harith bin 'Abdurrahman bin Abdullah bin Sa'd bin Abu Dubab] from [Sulaiman bin Yasar] and [Busr bin Sa'id] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "For plants that are watered by the sky (rainwater) and spring water, the zakat is one tenth. Meanwhile, zakat is irrigated by one-twentieth (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1816.) 14th Hadith. God bless you Allah's blessings شِهَابٍ، عَنْ or اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ "" God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing .. Has told us [Harun bin Sa'id Al Mishri Abu Ja'far] said, has told us [Ibnu Wahb] said, has told me [Yunus] from [Ibn Shihab] from [Salim] from [his father] he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "What is irrigated by the sky, rivers and springs, or rainwater is one tenth. While that which is irrigated with one's own power is one-twentieth (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1817.) 15th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، قَالَ بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَمَا سُقِيَ بِالدَّوَالِي نِصْفَ الْعُشْرِ . قَالَ يَحْيَى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يُسْقَى بِمَاءِ السَّمَاءِ . وَالْعَثَرِيُّ مَا يُزْرَعُ لِلسَّحَابِ وَلِلْمَطَرِ خَاصَّةً لَيْسَ يُصِيبُهُ إِلاَّ God bless you God willing God willing تَرْكَ السَّقْىِ فَهَذَا الْبَعْلُ وَالسَّيْلُ مَاءُ الْوَادِي إِذَا سَالَ . وَالْغَيْلُ سَيْلٌ دُونَ سَيْلٍ .. Has told us [Al Hasan bin Ali bin Affan] said, has told us [Yahya bin Adam] said, has told us [Abu Bakr bin Ayyasy] from [Ashim bin Abu An Najud] from [Abu Wa`il] from [Masruq] from [Mu'adz bin Jabal] he said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sent me to Yemen and ordered that I take zakat from the crops irrigated by the sky or rain-fed land is one-tenth. While that which is irrigated with the zakat bucket is one-twentieth." Yahya bin Adam said, "Al Ba'lu, Al 'Atsari and Al 'Adzyyu are things that are watered by the sky.? More specifically, that Al 'Atsari is a plant that is planted because of the help of clouds and rain, it is not irrigated except with rain water. Meanwhile, Al Ba'lu is a tree whose roots go deep into the earth through water, so that it does not need to be watered even within five or six years. This is Al Ba'lu. Meanwhile, As Sail is valley water that flows in the event of a flood. And ghail is water that always flows (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1818.) 16th Hadith. It has been told to us that ['Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim Ad Dimasyqi] and [Zubair bin Bakkar] both said; has told us [Ibn Nafi'] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Salih At Tammar] from [Az Zuhri] from [Sa'id bin Al Musayyab] from ['Attab bin Usaid] said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam sent someone to count the measure of fruit or grapes on people's trees (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1819.) 17th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing صَفْرَاءَ وَبَيْضَاءَ . يَعْنِي الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ . God bless you فَأَعْطِنَاهَا عَلَى أَنْ نَعْمَلَهَا وَيَكُونَ لَنَا نِصْفُ God bless you. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing الْخَرْصَ فَقَالَ فِي ذَا كَذَا وَكَذَا . God willing أَحْزُرُ النَّخْلَ وَأُعْطِيكُمْ نِصْفَ الَّذِي قُلْتُ . قَالَ فَقَالُوا هَذَا الْحَقُّ وَبِهِ تَقُومُ السَّمَاءُ وَالأَرْضُ . فَقَالُوا قَدْ رَضِينَا أَنْ نَأْخُذَ بِالَّذِي قُلْتَ .. Has told us [Musa bin Marwan Ar Raqqi] said, has told us [Umar bin Ayyub] from [Ja'far bin Burqan] from [Maimun bin Mihran] from [Miqsam] from [Ibn Abbas] said; "When the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam defeated Khaibar, he gave them (the Jews) conditions that all the land, yellow and white - namely gold and silver - belonged to him. The people of Khaibar said, "We know this land better, so give us the land until we work on it. We get half and you also get half of the fruit we get." He thought that the Prophet gave it to them. So when the time came for the date palm trees to be cut down, he sent Ibn Rawahah to them. Ibn Rawahah guessed at the date palm tree - which the people of Medina call Al Kharsh (guess) -, then Ibn Rawahah said, "The one here is like this and like this." So they said, "O Ibn Rawahah, you have multiplied yourself over us." Ibn Rawahah replied, "I only guessed at the date palm tree and gave you half of what I said." They said; "This is the truth by which heaven and earth stand." Then they said again; "We are willing to take part according to what you said (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1820.) 18th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مُرَّةَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وسلم ـ وَقَدْ عَلَّقَ رَجُلٌ قِنَاءً أَوْ قِنْوًا وَبِيَدِهِ God bless you God willing " God bless you يَأْكُلُ الْحَشَفَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .. Has told us [Abu Bisyr Bakr bin Khalaf] said, has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Abdul Hamid bin Ja'far] said, has told us [Salih bin Abu Arib] from [Katsir bin Murrah Al Hadlrami] from [Auf bin Malik Al Asyja'i] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam came out towards the mosque while in his hand there was a stick, then a men hang up bunches that still contain dates. He shook the bunch with his stick, then said: "If only the owner of this alms gave alms to something better. Indeed, the owner of this alms on the Day of Resurrection will eat dates that have been damaged (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1821.) 19th hadith. God bless you God willing God willing God willing God bless you لَكُمْ مِنَ الأَرْضِ وَلاَ تَيَمَّمُوا الْخَبِيثَ مِنْهُ تُنْفِقُونَ} God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God bless you God bless you and your God فُقَرَاءُ God bless you God bless you فَنَزَلَ فِيمَنْ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ {وَلاَ تَيَمَّمُوا الْخَبِيثَ مِنْهُ تُنْفِقُونَ} . يَقُولُ لاَ تَعْمِدُوا لِلْحَشَفِ مِنْهُ تُنْفِقُونَ . {وَلَسْتُمْ بِآخِذِيهِ إِلاَّ أَنْ God bless you قَبِلْتُمُوهُ إِلاَّ عَلَى اسْتِحْيَاءٍ مِنْ صَاِ God bless you God bless you .. Has told us [Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Yahya bin Sa'id Al Qaththan] said; has told us [Amru bin Muhammad Al 'Anqazi] said, has told us [Asbath bin Nashr] from [As Suddi] from ['Adi bin Thabit] from [Al Barra bin 'Azib] about the words of Allah Subhaanahu: "(And part of what we bring out from the earth for you. And do not choose the bad and make a living from it) ", he said, "This verse was revealed to the friends of the Ansar. The Ansar people used to give bunches of dates from their gardens, which were still young, and they hung them on a string between two pillars of the mosque of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam so that the poor people from among the Muhajirin could eat them choose the bad ones and then make a living from them, even though you yourself don't want to take them." Al Barra said, "Don't deliberately waste the worst dates, even though you don't want to take them yourself. 'But by squinting at it', Al Barra said, "If it were sent to you, then you would not want to receive it unless you were embarrassed by the owner. And you are disappointed because he sent you something you don't need. Know that Allah is Rich in what you give in charity (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1822.) 20th hadith. God willing God bless you God willing God willing إِنَّ لِي نَحْلاً . قَالَ " أَدِّ الْعُشْرَ " . قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ احْمِهَا لِي . فَحَمَاهَا لِي .. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Ali bin Muhammad] both said; has told us [Waki'] and [Sa'id bin Abdul Aziz] from [Sulaiman bin Musa] from [Abu Sayyarah Al Mutta'i] he said, "I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have a date palm tree," he said: "Give me a tenth of it." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, guard it for me so that no one takes it." So Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam looked after it for me (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1823.) 21st Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَِ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنَ عليه وسلم ـ أَنَّهُ أَخَذَ مِنَ الْعَسَلِ الْعُشْرَ .. It has been told to us [Muhammad bin Yahya] said, it has been told to us [Nu'aim bin Hammad] said, it has been told to us [Ibnul Mubarak] said, it has been told to us [Usamah bin Zaid] from [Amru bin Syu'aib] from [his father] from his grandfather [Abdullah bin Amru] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, that he set a tenth on the zakat on honey (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1824.) 22nd Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing . قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ عِدْلَهُ مُدَّيْنِ مِنْ حِنْطَةٍ .. It has been reported to us [Muhammad bin Rumh Al Mishri] said, it has been reported to us [Al Laits bin Sa'd] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam ordered that zakat fitrah be issued with one sha' of dates, or one sha' of wheat." Abdullah said; "Then people took it out in a ratio of two muds of wheat flour (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1825.) 23rd Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وسلم ـ صَدَقَةَ الْفِطْرِ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace الْمُسْلِمِينَ .. Has told us [Hafsh bin Amru] said, has told us ['Abdurrahman bin Mahdi] said, has told us [Malik bin Anas] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam obliged zakat fitrah with one sha' of wheat or one sha' of dates, whether free or slave, male or female from the muslimin people (Degree: authentic. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ God willing God willing فَرَضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ God willing لِلْمَسَاكِينِ فَمَنْ أَدَّاهَا قَبْلَ الصَّلاَةِ فَهِيَ God willing صَدَقَةٌ مِنَ الصَّدَقَاتِ .. Has told us [Abdullah bin Ahmad bin Basyir bin Dzakwan] and [Ahmad bin Al Azhar] both said; has told us [Marwan bin Muhammad] said, has told us [Abu Yazid Al Khaulani] from [Sayyar bin 'Abdurrahman Ash Shadafi] from [Ikrimah] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam required zakat fitrah, it is as a purification for the useless deeds and dirty words of those who fast, and as food for the poor. Whoever fulfills it before the 'Eid prayer, the zakat is received, and whoever pays it after the prayer, then it is only a form of alms (Degree: authentic. God bless you God willing مُخَيْمِرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ Allah's blessings نَزَلَتِ الزَّكَاةُ لَمْ يَأْمُرْنَا وَلَمْ يَنْهَنَا وَنَحْنُ نَفْعَلُهُ .. It has been told to us [Ali bin Muhammad] said, it has been told to us [Waki'] from [Sufyan] from [Salamah bin Kuhail] from [Al Qasim bin Mukhaimirah] from [Abu Ammar] from [Qais bin Sa'd] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam ordered us to pay zakat fitrah before the zakat verse was revealed, so when the zakat verse was revealed he did not order or forbid us, while we keep doing it (Degree: authentic. It has been told to us [Ali bin Muhammad] said; has told us [Waki'] from [Dawud bin Qais Al Farra] from [Iyadl bin Abdullah bin Abu Sarh] from [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri] he said, "When Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam was still with us, we gave zakat fitrah in the amount of one sha' of food, one sha' of dates, one sha' of wheat seeds, one sha' of aqith (dried milk), and one sha' of dried wine. We still do as that was until Mu'awiyah came to us in Medina. The speech he delivered to the people was, 'I see nothing but that two muds of Sham wheat are worth this one sha', finally the people took his opinion." Abu Sa'id said; I continue to pay zakat according to the time of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, as long as I am still alive (Degree: authentic. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Husain bin Junaid Ad Damaghani] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Attab bin Ziyad Al Murwazi] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Hamzah] ia berkata; aku mendengar [Mughirah Al Azdi] menceritakan dari [Muhammad bin Zaid] dari [Hayyan Al A'raj] dari [Al 'Ala Ibnul Hadlrami] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam mengutusku ke Bahrain, atau ke Hajar. Lalu aku mendatangi kebun milik beberapa orang yang bersaudara yang salah seorang dari mereka masuk Islam. Maka aku mengambil sepersepuluh dari orang yang telah masuk Islam dan mengambil pajak dari mereka yang masih musyrik (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1831.) Hadits ke-29. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ، عَنْ إِدْرِيسَ الأَوْدِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " الْوَسْقُ سِتُّونَ صَاعًا " .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Sa'id Al Kindi] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Ubaid Ath Thanafisi] dari [Idris Al Audi] dari [Amru bin Murrah] dari [Abu Al Bakhtari] dari [Abu Sa'id] ia memarfu'kannya (menyandarkan) kepada Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau mengatakan: "Satu wasaq adalah enam puluh sha (Derajat: shahih. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ali bin Al Mundzir] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Fudlail] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Ubaidullah] dari ['Atha bin Abu Rabah] dan [Abu Zubair] dari [Jabir bin Abdullah] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Satu wasaq adalah enam puluh sha (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-31. حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْمُصْطَلِقِ ابْنِ أَخِي، زَيْنَبَ امْرَأَةِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ، امْرَأَةِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَتْ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَيُجْزِئُ عَنِّي مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ النَّفَقَةُ عَلَى زَوْجِي وَأَيْتَامٍ فِي حِجْرِي قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لَهَا أَجْرَانِ أَجْرُ الصَّدَقَةِ وَأَجْرُ الْقَرَابَةِ " . حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ابْنِ أَخِي، زَيْنَبَ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ، امْرَأَةِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ نَحْوَهُ .. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam lalu bersabda: "Baginya dua pahala; pahala zakat dan pahala karena menyambung kekerabatan." Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Hasan bin Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Mu'awiyah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al A'masy] dari [Syaqiq] dari [Amru bin Al Harits] -anak saudara laki-laki Zainab- dari [Zainab] -isteri Abdullah- dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam sebagaimana Hadits di atas (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-32. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ بِالصَّدَقَةِ . فَقَالَتْ زَيْنَبُ امْرَأَةُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَيُجْزِينِي مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ أَنْ أَتَصَدَّقَ عَلَى زَوْجِي وَهُوَ فَقِيرٌ وَبَنِي أَخٍ لِي أَيْتَامٍ وَأَنَا أُنْفِقُ عَلَيْهِمْ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَعَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ قَالَ " نَعَمْ " . قَالَ وَكَانَتْ صَنَاعَ الْيَدَيْنِ .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin Adam] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hafsh bin Ghiyats] dari [Hisyam bin Urwah] dari [Bapaknya] dari [Zainab binti Ummu Salamah] dari [Ummu Salamah] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam memerintahkan kami untuk membayar zakat, lalu Zainab isteri Abdullah bertanya; "Apakah zakatku sah jika aku berikan kepada suamiku yang fakir dan anak saudaraku yang yatim, aku selalu bersedekah kepada mereka seperti ini dan seperti ini dalam setiap tahun?" beliau menjawab: "Ya." Ia berkata, "Zainab adalah wanita yang banyak beramal (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1835.) Hadits ke-33. حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَوْدِيُّ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لأَنْ يَأْخُذَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَحْبُلَهُ فَيَأْتِيَ الْجَبَلَ فَيَجِيءَ بِحُزْمَةِ حَطَبٍ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ فَيَبِيعَهَا فَيَسْتَغْنِيَ بِثَمَنِهَا خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَسْأَلَ النَّاسَ أَعْطَوْهُ أَوْ مَنَعُوهُ " .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ali bin Muhammad] dan [Amru bin Abdullah Al Audi] keduanya berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Waki'] dari [Hisyam bin Urwah] dari [bapaknya] dari [Kakeknya] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Sekiranya salah seorang dari kalian mengambil tali dan membawanya ke gunung, lalu ia datang dengan membawa satu ikat kayu di atas punggungnya, kemudian menjualnya hingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhannya adalah lebih baik daripada meminta-minta manusia, baik mereka memberi ataupun tidak (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1836.) Hadits ke-34. حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مَنْ يَتَقَبَّلُ لِي بِوَاحِدَةٍ وَأَتَقَبَّلُ لَهُ بِالْجَنَّةِ " قُلْتُ أَنَا . قَالَ " لاَ تَسْأَلِ النَّاسَ شَيْئًا " . قَالَ فَكَانَ ثَوْبَانُ يَقَعُ سَوْطُهُ وَهُوَ رَاكِبٌ فَلاَ يَقُولُ لأَحَدٍ نَاوِلْنِيهِ حَتَّى يَنْزِلَ فَيَأْخُذَهُ .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ali bin Muhammad] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Waki'] dari [Ibnu Abu Dzi`b] dari [Muhammad bin Qais] dari ['Abdurrahman bin Yazid] dari [Tsauban] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Barangsiapa bisa menjamin untukku satu hal, maka aku akan menjaminnya dengan surga! " Aku menjawab, "Saya." Beliau melanjutkan: "Janganlah engkau meminta sesuatu kepada manusia! " 'Abdurrahman berkata, "Suatu ketika cambuk Tsauban jatuh saat ia mengendarai kendaraan, maka ia tidak berkata kepada seorangpun, 'Tolong ambilkan untukku', sehingga ia turun dan mengambilnya sendiri (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1837.) Hadits ke-35. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مَنْ سَأَلَ النَّاسَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ تَكَثُّرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَسْأَلُ جَمْرَ جَهَنَّمَ فَلْيَسْتَقِلَّ مِنْهُ أَوْ لِيُكْثِرْ " .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Fudlail] dari [Umarah Ibnul Qa'qa'] dari [Abu Zur'ah] dari [Abu Hurairah] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Barangsiapa meminta harta manusia untuk bermegah-megah, sebenarnya ia meminta bara api neraka. Maka silahkan ia cukup dengan yang sedikit atau berbanyak-banyak (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1838.) Hadits ke-36. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لاَ تَحِلُّ الصَّدَقَةُ لِغَنِيٍّ وَلاَ لِذِي مِرَّةٍ سَوِيٍّ " .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah] berkata, telah memberitakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin 'Ayyasy] dari [Abu Hushain] dari [Salim bin Abu Al Ja'd] dari [Abu Hurairah] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Sedekah tidak layak diberikan kepada orang kaya dan sehat dan mempunyai kemampuan (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-37. حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلاَّلُ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مَنْ سَأَلَ وَلَهُ مَا يُغْنِيهِ جَاءَتْ مَسْأَلَتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ خُدُوشًا أَوْ خُمُوشًا أَوْ كُدُوحًا فِي وَجْهِهِ " . قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا يُغْنِيهِ قَالَ " خَمْسُونَ دِرْهَمًا أَوْ قِيمَتُهَا مِنَ الذَّهَبِ " . فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ لِسُفْيَانَ إِنَّ شُعْبَةَ لاَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ . فَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ قَدْ حَدَّثَنَاهُ زُبَيْدٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Hasan bin Ali Al Khallal] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin Adam] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan] dari [Hakim bin Jubair] dari [Muhammad bin 'Abdurrahman bin Yazid] dari [Bapaknya] dari [Abdullah bin Mas'ud] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Barangsiapa meminta-minta padahal ia dalam keadaan kecukupan, maka pada hari kiamat apa yang ia minta akan berubah menjadi bekas-bekas cakaran di wajahnya." Dikatakan, "Wahai Rasulullah, kecukupan apa yang telah ia punyai?" beliau menjawab: "Lima puluh dirham, atau emas yang senilai dengannya." Lalu seorang laki-laki berkata kepada Sufyan, "Sesungguhnya Syu'bah tidak meriwayatkan dari Hakim bin Jubair! " [Sufyan] berkata; "Namun [Zubaid] telah meriwayatkannya kepada kami, dari [Muhammad bin 'Abdurrahman bin Yazid] (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1840.) Hadits ke-38. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لاَ تَحِلُّ الصَّدَقَةُ لِغَنِيٍّ إِلاَّ لِخَمْسَةٍ لِعَامِلٍ عَلَيْهَا أَوْ لِغَازٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ لِغَنِيٍّ اشْتَرَاهَا بِمَالِهِ أَوْ فَقِيرٍ تُصُدِّقَ عَلَيْهِ فَأَهْدَاهَا لِغَنِيٍّ أَوْ غَارِمٍ " ..
