Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ God willing يُفْطِرُ ‏.‏ قَالَ وَمَا رَأَيْتُهُ احْتَجَمَ قَطُّ إِلاَّ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ لاَ تُكْرَهُ الْحِجَامَةُ لِلصَّائِمِ إِلاَّ خَشْيَةً مِنْ أَنْ يَضْعُفَ وَلَوْلاَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God God bless you God bless you God willing لِلصَّائِمِ لِمَوْضِعِ التَّغْرِيرِ بِالصِّيَامِ فَمَنِ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الْيَوْمِ ‏.‏. It was told to me from Malik from [Hisyam bin Urwah] from [his father], that he was cupping even though he was fasting and did not break the fast. He says; "I never saw him cupping except when fasting (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 663.) 2nd hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وسلم أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كَانَ يَوْمُ عَاشُورَاءَ يَوْمًا God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing فَمَنْ شَاءَ صَامَهُ وَمَنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَهُ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Hisyam bin Urwah] from [his father] from [Aisyah] the wife of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said, "Previously the day of Ashura' was the day on which the Quraysh fasted during the period of ignorance. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam also fasted on that day during the period of ignorance. After arriving in Medina, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam fasted on that day and ordered others to join in fasting. When Ramadan fasting is obligatory and this is what is obligatory, no one else fasts on that day. Whoever wants to, he can fast and whoever wants to, he can leave it (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 664.) 3rd Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ عَامَ حَجَّ وَهُوَ عَم أَيْنَ عُلَمَاؤُكُمْ or وسلم يَقُولُ لِهَذَا الْيَوْمِ ‏ "‏ هَذَا يَوْمُ عَاشُورَاءَ وَلَمْ يُكْتَبْ عَلَيْكُمْ صِيَامُهُ وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ فَمَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَصُمْ وَمَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيُفْطِرْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Yahya has told me from Malik from [Ibn Shihab] from [Humaid bin Abdurrahman bin Auf] that he heard [Mu'awiyah bin Abu Sufyan] on the day of Ashura' in the Hajj season preaching from the pulpit, "O people of Madinah, where are your ulama'? I have heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say about this day: "This is the day of Ashura you are not obliged to fast. (Now) I am fasting, whoever wants, let him fast and whoever wants, let him break his fast (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 665.) 4th Hadith. God willing بْنْ God willing يَوْمَيْنِ يَوْمِ الْفِطْرِ وَيَوْمِ الأَضْحَى ‏.‏. Yahya has told me from Malik from [Muhammad bin Yahya bin Habban] from [Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah], that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade fasting on two holidays, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 667.) 5th Hadith. God willing اللَّهِ بْنْ نَهَى عَنِ الْوِصَالَ God willing ‏ "‏ أُطْعَمُ وَأُسْقَى ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Yahya has told me from Malik from [Nafi'] from [Abdullah bin Umar], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade wishal fasting. They ask; "O Messenger of Allah, didn't you make wishal?" He answered; "My situation is not like your situation, I am given food and drink (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 669.) 6th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَالْوِصَالَ ‏"‏ ‏." اللَّهِ ‏." أَبِيتُ يُطْعِمُنِي رَبِّي وَيَسْقِينِي ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Abu Az Zinad] from [Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Do not fast wishal, do not do wishal!" they asked; "Didn't you make a wish, O Messenger of Allah?" he answered; "My situation is not like your situation. At night, my Rabb gives me food and drink (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 670.) 7th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing ‏.‏ فَجَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ God willing وَقَدِ اجْتَهَدْنَا ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ يُرِيدُ بِقَوْلِهِ الْخَطْبُ يَسِيرٌ الْقَضَاءَ فِيمَا نُرَى - وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ - message مَكَانَهُ ‏.‏. Yahya told me from Malik from [Zaid bin Aslam] from his brother [Khalid bin Aslam] that [Umar bin al Khatthab] once broke his fast in the month of Ramadan on a cloudy day. He thought it was afternoon and the sun had set. Then someone came to him and said; "O Amirul Mukminin, the sun is still shining!" 'Umar said; "It's an easy matter. We have made ijtihad." Malik said, "In our opinion, the meaning of Umar's words is qadla, Waallahu a'lam. Because fulfilling it is not difficult because of the opportunity. Umar also said, "We fast for a day in its place (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 674.) 8th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ God bless you مُتَتَابِعًا مَنْ أَفْطَرَهُ مِنْ مَرَضٍ أَوْ فِي سَفَرٍ ‏.‏. It has been related to me from Malik from [Nafi'] that [Abdullah bin 'Umar] said; "Replacing Ramadan fasts must be consecutive, for those who break the fast due to illness or traveling (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 675.) 9th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings قَضَاءِ رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا يُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَهُ ‏.‏ وَقَالَ الآخَرُ لاَ يُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَهُ ‏.‏ لاَ أَدْرِي أَيَّهُمَا قَالَ يُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَهُ ‏.‏. Yahya told me from Malik from [Ibnu Shihab] that [Abdullah bin Abbas] and [Abu Hurairah] had different opinions about how to replace the Ramadan fast. One said, 'It must be distinguished,' the other said, 'It must not be distinguished.' I don't know which of the two said, 'There must be a distinction (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 676.) 10th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ God bless you صَائِمٌ فَعَلَيْهْ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَضَاءُ ‏.‏. Has told me from Malik from [Nafi'] from [Abdullah bin 'Umar] said; "Whoever vomits intentionally while fasting, then he must change his fast. And whoever accidentally vomits, then he does not have to change it (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 677.) 11th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّهُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God bless you قَضَاءُ رَمَضَانَ وَأَنْ يُوَاتَرَ ‏.‏ قَالَ يَحْيَى سَمِعْتُ مَالِكًا يَقُولُ فِيمَنْ فَرَّقَ قَضَاءَ رَمَضَانَ فَلَيْسَ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you شَرِبَ فِي رَمَضَانَ سَاهِيًا أَوْ نَاسِيًا أَوْ مَْ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind مَكَانَهُ ‏.‏. Has told me from Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] he heard [Sa'id bin Musayyab] asked about how to make up for the Ramadan fast. Sa'id then answered, "I prefer not to separate the qadha' of Ramadlan and take the odd ones (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 678.) 12th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ God bless you وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ فَجَاءَهُ إِنْسَانٌ فَسَأَلَهُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَقْطَعُهَا قَالَ حُمَيْدٌ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ نَعَمْ يَقْطَعُهَا God bless you. قِرَاءَةِ أُبَىِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مُتَتَابِعَاتٍ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَأَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ مَا سَمَّى اللَّهُ فِي الْقُرْآنِ يُصَامُ مُتَتَابِعًا ‏.‏ وَسُئِلَ مَالِكٌ عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ تُصْبِي God bless you God willing مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ فَلاَ تَرَى شَيْئًا ثُمَّ تُصْبِحُ يَوْمًا آخَرَ God willing God bless you فَسُئِلَ مَالِكٌ كَيْفَ تَصْنَعُ فِي صِيَامِهَا وَصَلاَتِهَا قَالَ مَالِكٌ ذَلِكَ الدَّمُ مِنَ الْحَيْضَةِ فَإِذَا رَأَتْهُ فَلْتُفْطِرْ وَلْتَقْضِ مَا أَفْطَرَتْ فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ عَنْهَا الدَّمُ فَلْتَغْتَسِلْ وَتَصُومُ ‏.‏ وَسُئِلَ عَمَّنْ أَسْلَمَ فِي آخِرْ رَمَضَانَ كُلِّهْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings مَضَى وَإِنَّمَا يَسْتَأْنِفُ الصِّيَامَ فِيمَا يُسْتَقْبَلُ وَأَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ أَنْ يَقْضِيَ الْيَوْمَ الَّذِي أَسْلَمَ فِيهِ ‏.‏. It was told to me from Malik from [Humaid bin Qais Al Maki] that he informed him, he said, "I was with Mujahid when he was doing Tawaf at the Kaaba. Then a man came to him asking about the kafarah fast, whether it had to be done consecutively or intermittently." Humaid said, "I answered, "Yes, it can be done intermittently if you wish." [Mujahid] said, "It cannot be interrupted, because in his qira'ah [Ubay bin Ka'bin], it is mentioned three consecutive days (Degree: sahih. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 679.) 13th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing أَصْبَحَتَا صَائِمَتَيْنَ لَهُمَا طَعَامٌ فَأَفْطَرَتَا عَلَيْهِ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهْ حَفْصَةُ وَبَدَرَتْنِي بِالْكَلاَمِ - وَكَانَتْ بِنْتَ أَبِيهَا - يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَصْبَحْتُ أَنَا love God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings آخَرَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Yahya told me from Malik from [Ibn Shihab] that Aisyah and Hafshah, the wife of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, fasted sunnah one morning. Then he was given a gift in the form of food, then 'Aisyah and Hafshah broke their fast with him. Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam came to meet them. [Aisyah] said, "Hafshah then said before me, he is his father's daughter. O Messenger of Allah, this morning Aisyah and I fasted sunnah, then someone gave us food and we broke the fast with him." Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Change your fast to another day (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 680.) 14th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ God willing عَلَيْهِ قَضَاءُ رَمَضَانَ فَلَمْ يَقْضِهِ - وَهُوَ قَوِيٌّ عَلَى صِيَامِهِ - حَتَّى جَاءَ رَمَضَانُ آخَرُ فَإِنَّهُ يُطْعِمُ مَكَانَ كُلِّ يَوْمٍ مِسْكِينًا مُدًّا مِنْ حِنْطَةٍ وَعَلَيْهِ مَعَ ذَلِكَ الْقَضَاءُ ‏.‏ وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ God bless you ذَلِكَ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Abdurrahman bin Al Qasim] from [his father] he said, "Whoever has the obligation to make up for the fast of Ramadan, but he does not make up for it even though he is able to fast until the next Ramadan arrives, then he makes up for it by feeding a poor person every day with one mud of flour, then he is obliged to make up for his fast." It has been told to me from Malik, that it has reached him, from Sa'id bin Jubair like the hadith (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 683.) 15th Hadith. God bless you عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنْ God willing كَانَ لَيَكُونُ عَلَىَّ الصِّيَامُ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فَمَا أَسْتَطِيعُ أَصُومُهُ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ شَعْبَانُ. Yahya has told me from Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Abu Salamah bin Abdurrahman] he heard [Aisyah] the wife of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say; "Indeed, I once had the burden of fasting during Ramadan, and I couldn't fast until the month of Sha'ban came (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 685.) 16th Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وسلم يَصُومُ حَتَّى نَقُولَ لاَ يُفْطِرُ وَيُفْطِرُ حَتَّى God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَمَا رَأَيْتُهُ فِي شَهْرٍ أَكْثَرَ صِيَامًا مِنْهُ فِي شَعْبَانَ ‏.‏. has told me Yahya from Malik from [Abu Nadlr] the former slave of 'Umar bin 'Ubaidullah, from [Abu Salamah bin Abdurrahman] from [Aisyah] the wife of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam fasted continuously until we said, he never broke the fast. He also broke the fast continuously until we said, that he never fasts. I I didn't see the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) completing his fast for a whole month except for the month of Ramadan. And I didn't see him fasting much in one month except for the month of Sha'ban (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 686.) 17th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings أَحَدُكُمْ صَائِمًـ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings إِنِّي صَائِمٌ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. has told me from Malik from [Abu Az Zinad] from [Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Fasting is a shield, if one of you fasts, let him not say dirty words and not behave badly. If someone fights him or insults him, let him say; 'I am fasting, I am fasting (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 687.) 18th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ God willing God willing God willing God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. الصِّيَامَ فَهُوَ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. has narrated to me from Malik from [Abu Az Zinad] from [Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, indeed the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is more fragrant in the sight of Allah than musk oil. Indeed, he restrains his lust, food and drink for the sake of Me. So the fast is Mine, I am the one who will give the reward. Every good thing is worth ten to seven hundred times, except fasting is Mine and I will reward it (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 688.) 19th hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي سُهَيْلِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وَغُلِّقَتْ أَبْوَابُ النَّارِ وَصُفِّدَتِ الشَّيَاطِينُ ‏.‏. has told me from Malik from his uncle [Abu Suhail bin Malik] from [his father] from [Abu Hurairah] said; "When the month of Ramadan arrives, the gates of heaven are opened and the gates of hell are closed, the equivalent of the devils will be chained (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 689.) 20th hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing سلم أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم God willing وَكَانَ لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْبَيْتَ إِلاَّ لِحَاجَةِ الإِنْسَانِ ‏.‏. has told me Yahya from Malik from [Ibn Shihab] from ['Urwah bin Zubair] from ['Amrah bint Abdurrahman] from [Aisyah] the wife of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, said, "When the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was performing 'tikaf, he turned his head to me, and I combed his hair. And he did not enter the house except to fulfill human needs (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 690.) 21st Hadith. God willing بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، كَانَتْ إِذَا God willing لاَ تَقِفُ ‏.‏. has told me Yahya from Malik from [Ibn Shihab] from ['Amrah bint Abdurrahman], that if [Aisyah] is in I'tikaf, then she does not ask about sick people except while walking, without stopping (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 691.) Hadits ke-22. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ، يَعْتَكِفُ هَلْ يَدْخُلُ لِحَاجَتِهِ تَحْتَ سَقْفٍ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ لاَ بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ الأَمْرُ عِنْدَنَا الَّذِي لاَ اخْتِلاَفَ فِيهِ أَنَّهُ لاَ يُكْرَهُ الاِعْتِكَافُ فِي كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ يُجَمَّعُ فِيهِ وَلاَ أُرَاهُ كُرِهَ الاِعْتِكَافُ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ الَّتِي لاَ يُجَمَّعُ فِيهَا إِلاَّ كَرَاهِيَةَ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ الْمُعْتَكِفُ مِنْ مَسْجِدِهِ الَّذِي اعْتَكَفَ فِيهِ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ أَوْ يَدَعَهَا فَإِنْ كَانَ مَسْجِدًا لاَ يُجَمَّعُ فِيهِ الْجُمُعَةُ وَلاَ يَجِبُ عَلَى صَاحِبِهِ إِتْيَانُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِي مَسْجِدٍ سِوَاهُ فَإِنِّي لاَ أَرَى بَأْسًا بِالاِعْتِكَافِ فِيهِ لأَنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى قَالَ ‏{‏وَأَنْتُمْ عَاكِفُونَ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ‏}‏ فَعَمَّ اللَّهُ الْمَسَاجِدَ كُلَّهَا وَلَمْ يَخُصَّ شَيْئًا مِنْهَا ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ فَمِنْ هُنَالِكَ جَازَ لَهُ أَنْ يَعْتَكِفَ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ الَّتِي لاَ يُجَمَّعُ فِيهَا الْجُمُعَةُ إِذَا كَانَ لاَ يَجِبُ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ مِنْهُ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِي تُجَمَّعُ فِيهِ الْجُمُعَةُ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَلاَ يَبِيتُ الْمُعْتَكِفُ إِلاَّ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِي اعْتَكَفَ فِيهِ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ خِبَاؤُهُ فِي رَحَبَةٍ مِنْ رِحَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ أَنَّ الْمُعْتَكِفَ يَضْرِبُ بِنَاءً يَبِيتُ فِيهِ إِلاَّ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ أَوْ فِي رَحَبَةٍ مِنْ رِحَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ وَمِمَّا يَدُلُّ عَلَى أَنَّهُ لاَ يَبِيتُ إِلاَّ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ قَوْلُ عَائِشَةَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا اعْتَكَفَ لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْبَيْتَ إِلاَّ لِحَاجَةِ الإِنْسَانِ ‏.‏ وَلاَ يَعْتَكِفُ فَوْقَ ظَهْرِ الْمَسْجِدِ وَلاَ فِي الْمَنَارِ يَعْنِي الصَّوْمَعَةَ ‏.‏ وَقَالَ مَالِكٌ يَدْخُلُ الْمُعْتَكِفُ الْمَكَانَ الَّذِي يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَعْتَكِفَ فِيهِ قَبْلَ غُرُوبِ الشَّمْسِ مِنَ اللَّيْلَةِ الَّتِي يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَعْتَكِفَ فِيهَا حَتَّى يَسْتَقْبِلَ بِاعْتِكَافِهِ أَوَّلَ اللَّيْلَةِ الَّتِي يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَعْتَكِفَ فِيهَا وَالْمُعْتَكِفُ مُشْتَغِلٌ بِاعْتِكَافِهِ لاَ يَعْرِضُ لِغَيْرِهِ مِمَّا يَشْتَغِلُ بِهِ مِنَ التِّجَارَاتِ أَوْ غَيْرِهَا وَلاَ بَأْسَ بِأَنْ يَأْمُرَ الْمُعْتَكِفُ بِبَعْضِ حَاجَتِهِ بِضَيْعَتِهِ وَمَصْلَحَةِ أَهْلِهِ وَأَنْ يَأْمُرَ بِبَيْعِ مَالِهِ أَوْ بِشَىْءٍ لاَ يَشْغَلُهُ فِي نَفْسِهِ فَلاَ بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ إِذَا كَانَ خَفِيفًا أَنْ يَأْمُرَ بِذَلِكَ مَنْ يَكْفِيهِ إِيَّاهُ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ لَمْ أَسْمَعْ أَحَدًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ يَذْكُرُ فِي الاِعْتِكَافِ شَرْطًا وَإِنَّمَا الاِعْتِكَافُ عَمَلٌ مِنَ الأَعْمَالِ مِثْلُ الصَّلاَةِ وَالصِّيَامِ وَالْحَجِّ وَمَا أَشْبَهَ ذَلِكَ مِنَ الأَعْمَالِ مَا كَانَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَرِيضَةً أَوْ نَافِلَةً فَمَنْ دَخَلَ فِي شَىْءٍ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّمَا يَعْمَلُ بِمَا مَضَى مِنَ السُّنَّةِ وَلَيْسَ لَهُ أَنْ يُحْدِثَ فِي ذَلِكَ غَيْرَ مَا مَضَى عَلَيْهِ الْمُسْلِمُونَ لاَ مِنْ شَرْطٍ يَشْتَرِطُهُ وَلاَ يَبْتَدِعُهُ وَقَدِ اعْتَكَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَعَرَفَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ سُنَّةَ الاِعْتِكَافِ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَالاِعْتِكَافَ وَالْجِوَارُ سَوَاءٌ وَالاِعْتِكَافُ لِلْقَرَوِيِّ وَالْبَدَوِيِّ سَوَاءٌ ‏.‏. telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik bertanya kepada [Ibnu Syihab] tentang seseorang yang sedang beri'tikaf, apakah dia harus melakukan semua hajatnya di bawah tempat yang beratap. Dia menjawab, "Ya. Tidak mengapa (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 692.) 23rd Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي زِيَادٌ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ‏.‏ God willing لِحَاجَةِ الإِنْسَانِ فِي الْبُيُوتِ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ لاَ يَخْرُجُ الْمُعْتَكِفُ مَعَ جَنَازَةِ أَبَوَيْهِ وَلاَ مَعَ غَيْرِهَا ‏.‏. has told me Ziyad from Malik from [Ibn Shihab] that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam went to defecate at home (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 696.) 24th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God bless you God willing لَيْلَةَ إِحْدَى وَعِشْرِينَ وَهِيَ اللَّيْلَةُ الَّتِي "‏ God willing وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةَ ثُمَّ أُنْسِيتُهَا وَقَدْ God bless you فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرَ كُلِّ وِتْرٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ فَأُمْطِرَتِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عَرِيشٍ فَوَكَفَ الْمَسْجِدُ - قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ - عَيْنَاىَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم God willing وَالطِّينِ مِنْ صُبْحِ لَيْلَةِ إِحْدَى وَعِشْرِينَ ‏.‏. Has told me Ziyad from Malik from [Yazid bin Abdullah bin Al Had] from [Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Al Harith At Taimi] from [Abu Salamah bin Abdurrahman] from [Abu Sa'id al Khudri] said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam started doing I'tikaf in the second ten of the month of Ramadan. He did I'tikaf that year, until the twenty-first night arrived, which is the day on which he came out. from his I'tikaf after dawn, he said: 'Whoever wants to do I'tikaf with me, let him do it in the last ten days, I have seen it in my dream, but I forgot in the morning I prostrated myself to the water and the earth.' Abu Sa'id said; "That night it rained, and the mosque was in the ward, so the mosque leaked." He added; "With my two eyes, I saw Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam leaving, while on his forehead and nose there were traces of dirt and water. It happened in the morning of the twenty-first evening (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 697.) 25th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي زِيَادٌ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ God willing وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ تَحَرَّوْا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. has told me Ziyad from Malik from [Hisyam bin 'Urwah] from [his father], that Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Look for Lailatul Qadr in the last ten days of the month of Ramadan (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 698.) 26th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي زِيَادٌ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings الْقَدْرِ فِي السَّبْعِ الأَوَاخِرِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. has told me Ziyad from Malik from [Abdurrahman bin Dinar] from [Abdullah bin Umar], that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Look for Lailatul Qadr in the last seven days (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 699.) 27th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي زِيَادٌ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وسلم يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي رَجُلٌ شَاسِعُ الدَِ فَمُرْنِي لَيْلَةً أَنْزِلُ لَهَا ‏.‏ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَعِشْرِينَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. has told me Ziyad from Malik from [Abu Nadlr] the former slave of 'Umar bin 'Ubaidullah, Abdullah bin Unais al Juhani said to Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, "O Rasulullah! I am a person whose home is far away, so order me one night to go down (seek lailatul qadar) that night." Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Come down on the twenty-third night of the month of Ramadan (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 700.) 28th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي زِيَادٌ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ، God willing God willing God willing تَلاَحَى رَجُلاَنْ التَّاسِعَةِ وَالسَّابِعَةِ وَالْخَامِسَةِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. has told me Ziyad from Malik from [Humaid At Thawil] from [Anas bin Malik] said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam met us in the month of Ramadan. He said: 'Indeed, this night was shown to me in the month of Ramadan, until finally two men came who made me forget. So look for it on the twenty-ninth, twenty-seventh or twenty-fifth night (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 701.) 29th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي زِيَادٌ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وسلم ‏ "‏ إِنِّي أَرَى رُؤْيَاكُمْ قَدْ تَوَاطَأَتْ فِي Allah's blessings فَلْيَتَحَرَّهَا فِي السَّبْعِ الأَوَاخِرِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. has told me Ziyad from Malik from [Nafi'] from [Ibnu Umar], that a friend of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam had a dream of seeing Lailatul Qadar in the last seven days. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam then said: "I see that your dreams lie in the last seven days. Whoever wants to get it, should look for it in the last seven days (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 702.) 30th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه "‏"‏ "‏"" ‏.‏. has told me Yahya from Malik from [Abdurrahman bin Al Qasim] from [his father] from [Asma' bint Umais], that she gave birth to Muhammad bin Abu Bakr in Baida', then Abu Bakr mentioned it to Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. He said: "Tell him to bathe, then perform ihram (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 705.) 31st Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَلَدَتْ، مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ فَأَمَرَهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ، ثُمَّ تُهِلَّ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Sa'id bin Musayyab] that Asma' bint Umais gave birth to Muhammad bin Abu Bakr in Dzul Hulaifah, so [Abu Bakar] told her to bathe and then enter the ihram (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 706.) 32nd Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ God bless you يُحْرِمَ وَلِدُخُولِهِ مَكَّةَ وَلِوُقُ؈فِهِ عَرَفَةَ ‏.‏. has told me from Malik from [Nafi'] that [Abdullah bin Umar] bathed for ihram before he entered ihram, bathed to enter the city of Makkah and bathed for wukuf on the night of Arafah (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 707.) 33rd Hadith. God willing عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنْ God willing God bless you اللَّهِ يَغْسِلُ الْمُحْرِمُ رَأْسَهُ ‏.‏ وَقَالَ الْمِسْوَرُ God willing God bless you God willing الْقَرْنَيْنْ فَقَالَ مَنْ هَذَا فَقُلْتُ أَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ حُنَيْنٍ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. كَيْفَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَغْسِلُ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. قَالَ لإِنْسَانٍ يَصُبُّ عَلَيْهِ اصْبُبْ ‏.‏ فَصَبَّ عَلَى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَأَدْبَرَ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صم الله عليه وسلم يَفْعَلُ ‏.‏. has told me Yahya from Malik from [Zaid bin Aslam] from [Ibrahim bin Abdullah bin Hunain] from [his father], that Abdullah bin Abbas and Al Mishwar bin Makhramah had different opinions when they were in Abwa'. [Abdullah bin Abbas] said, "A person in ihram may wash his head." While [Al Mishwar bin Makhramah] said, "A person in ihram must not wash his head." The narrator said, "Abdullah bin Abbas sent me to meet [Abu Ayyub Al Ansari]. I found him bathing between two barriers and covered with a sheet. I then greeted him. He asked; "Who is that?" I answered, "I am Abdullah bin Hunain whom Abdullah bin Abbas sent to you to ask; How did the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam wash his head when he was in ihram." Abu Ayyub then put his hands on his clothes, then moved them until he saw his head. Then he said to the person who was going to pour water on him, 'Sprinkle it!' sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam did it (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 708.) 34th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ God willing مُنْيَةَ وَهُوَ يَصُبُّ عَلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ مَاءً وَهُوَ يَغْتَسِلُ اصْبُبْ عَلَى رَأْسِي ‏.‏ فَقَالَ يَعْلَى أَتُرِيدُ أَنْ تَجْعَلَهَا بِي إِنْ God bless you. God bless you اصْبُبْ فَلَنْ يَزِيدَهُ الْمَاءُ إِلاَّ شَعَثًا ‏.‏. has told me Malik from [Humaid bin Qais] from ['Atha bin Abu Rabah] that [Umar bin al Khatthab] said to Ya'la bin Munyah who was pouring water on him while bathing, "Pour it on my head!" 'Umar bin al Khattab said to him; "Sprinkle it on," and the water increased her hair to become loose (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 709.) 35th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ God willing God willing God willing وَلاَ يَدْخُلُ إِذَا خَرَجَ حَاجًّا أَوْ مُعْتَمِرًا حَتَّى يَغْتَسِلَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ مَكَّةَ إِذَا دَنَا مِنْ مَكَّةَ بِذِي طُوًى وَيَأْمُرُ مَنْ مَعَهُ فَيَغْتَسِلُونَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلُوا ‏.‏. has told me Malik from [Nafi'] that when [Abdullah bin Umar] approaches Mecca, he spends the night at Dzi Thuwa between two hills until morning comes, and performs the morning prayer there. Then he entered Makkah via the Tsaniyyah hill which is above Makkah. If he goes out for Hajj or Umrah, then he does not enter until he has bathed before entering Mecca. And when he was close to Mecca in Dzi Thuwaa, he ordered the people with him to bathe before they entered it (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 710.) Hadits ke-36. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، كَانَ لاَ يَغْسِلُ رَأْسَهُ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ إِلاَّ مِنَ الاِحْتِلاَمِ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ سَمِعْتُ أَهْلَ الْعِلْمِ يَقُولُونَ لاَ بَأْسَ أَنْ يَغْسِلَ الرَّجُلُ الْمُحْرِمُ رَأْسَهُ بِالْغَسُولِ بَعْدَ أَنْ يَرْمِيَ جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ وَقَبْلَ أَنْ يَحْلِقَ رَأْسَهُ وَذَلِكَ أَنَّهُ إِذَا رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ فَقَدْ حَلَّ لَهُ قَتْلُ الْقَمْلِ وَحَلْقُ الشَّعْرِ وَإِلْقَاءُ التَّفَثِ وَلُبْسُ الثِّيَابِ ‏.‏. telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Nafi'] bahwa [Abdullah bin Umar] tidak membasuh kepalanya saat dia sedang ihram kecuali karena mimpi basah (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 711.) Hadits ke-37. حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَا يَلْبَسُ الْمُحْرِمُ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ لاَ تَلْبَسُوا الْقُمُصَ وَلاَ الْعَمَائِمَ وَلاَ السَّرَاوِيلاَتِ وَلاَ الْبَرَانِسَ وَلاَ الْخِفَافَ إِلاَّ أَحَدٌ لاَ يَجِدُ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ وَلاَ تَلْبَسُوا مِنَ الثِّيَابِ شَيْئًا مَسَّهُ الزَّعْفَرَانُ وَلاَ الْوَرْسُ ‏.‏. telah menceritakan kepadaku Yahya dari Malik dari [Nafi'] dari [Abdullah bin Umar], bahwa ada seorang laki-laki yang bertanya pada Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, "Pakaian apa yang dipakai oleh orang yang sedang ihram?" Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam menjawab: "Janganlah memakai baju, penutup kepala, celana, alas kaki dan juga sepatu. Kecuali seseorang yang tidak mendapatkan kedua sandalnya, dia boleh memakai kedua sepatunya dengan memotong bagian bawah mata kakinya. Janganlah kalian memakai pakaian yang diberi za'faran atau wars (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 712.) Hadits ke-38. حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يَلْبَسَ الْمُحْرِمُ ثَوْبًا مَصْبُوغًا بِزَعْفَرَانٍ أَوْ وَرْسٍ وَقَالَ ‏ "‏ مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. telah menceritakan kepadaku Yahya dari Malik dari [Abdullah bin Dinar] dari [Abdullah bin Umar] berkata; "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melarang orang yang sedang ihram memakai pakaian yang terkena za'faran dan wars. Beliau bersabda: 'Barangsiapa tidak menemukan kedua sandalnya, hendaklah dia memakai kedua sepatunya dan memotong bagian yang berada di bawah kedua mata kakinya (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-39. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَسْلَمَ، مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ يُحَدِّثُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، رَأَى عَلَى طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ثَوْبًا مَصْبُوغًا وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ مَا هَذَا الثَّوْبُ الْمَصْبُوغُ يَا طَلْحَةُ فَقَالَ طَلْحَةُ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِنَّمَا هُوَ مَدَرٌ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ إِنَّكُمْ أَيُّهَا الرَّهْطُ أَئِمَّةٌ يَقْتَدِي بِكُمُ النَّاسُ فَلَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلاً جَاهِلاً رَأَى هَذَا الثَّوْبَ لَقَالَ إِنَّ طَلْحَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ كَانَ يَلْبَسُ الثِّيَابَ الْمُصَبَّغَةَ فِي الإِحْرَامِ فَلاَ تَلْبَسُوا أَيُّهَا الرَّهْطُ شَيْئًا مِنْ هَذِهِ الثِّيَابِ الْمُصَبَّغَةِ ‏.‏. telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Nafi'] telah mendengar [Aslam] mantan budak Umar bin al Khatthab, menceritakan kepada Abdullah bin Umar, bahwa [Umar bin al Khatthab] pernah melihat Thalhah bin Ubaidullah memakai pakaian yang dicelup padahal dia sedang ihram. Umar lalu bertanya, "Wahai Abu Thalhah, kain celupan apa ini." Thalhah menjawab, "Wahai Amirul Mukminin, ini hanyalah tanah." 'Umar berkata, "Kalian adalah para pemimpin. Orang-orang akan mengikuti kalian. Jika saja ada orang bodoh yang melihat hal itu, niscaya dia akan berkata; 'Thalhah bin 'Ubaidullah telah memakai pakaian yang dicelup pada saat ihram. Hadits ke-40. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَلْبَسُ الثِّيَابَ الْمُعَصْفَرَاتِ الْمُشَبَّعَاتِ وَهِيَ مُحْرِمَةٌ لَيْسَ فِيهَا زَعْفَرَانٌ ‏.‏ قَالَ يَحْيَى سُئِلَ مَالِكٌ عَنْ ثَوْبٍ مَسَّهُ طِيبٌ ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ مِنْهُ رِيحُ الطِّيبِ هَلْ يُحْرِمُ فِيهِ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ فِيهِ صِبَاغٌ زَعْفَرَانٌ أَوْ وَرْسٌ ‏.‏. telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Hisyam bin Urwah] dari [Bapaknya] dari [Asma' binti Abu Bakar] bahwa dia mengenakan pakaian yang dicelup dengan warna kuning padahal dia sedang ihram, namun tidak mengenakan za'faran (sejenis wangian) (Derajat: shahih.
