Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَمَلَ مِنَ الْحَجَرِ الأَسْوَدِ حَتَِ ثَلاَثَةَ أَطْوَافٍ ‏.‏. Has told me Yahya from Malik from [Ja'far bin Muhammad] from [his father] from [Jabir bin Abdullah] said; "I saw the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam jogging from the Black Stone and ending up at the Black Stone three times." Malik said; "That is what our country's ulama always do (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 808.) 2nd hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing أَطْوَافٍ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik that [Nafi'] said, "[Abdullah bin Umar] jogged from the Black Stone to the Black Stone again for three laps, and walked for four laps (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 809.) 3rd Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، أَنَّ Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَأَنْتَ تُحْيِي بَعْدَ مَا أَمَتَّا يَخْفِضُ صَوْتَهُ بِذَلِكَ ‏.‏. It was told to me from Malik from [Hisyam bin Urwah] that [His father] when performing Tawaf at the Kaaba, he jogged around the Kaaba three times while saying, "ALLAHUMMA LAA ILAAHA ILLA ANTA WA ANTA TUHYII BA'DA MA AMATTA (O Allah, there is no god but You, You give life to things after they die),' in a low voice (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 810.) 4th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing أَحْرَمَ بِعُمْرَةٍ مِنَ التَّنْعِيمِ - قَالَ - ثُمَِ يَسْعَى حَوْلَ الْبَيْتِ الأَشْوَاطَ الثَّلاَثَةَ ‏.‏. Has told me from Malik from [Hisyam bin Urwah] from [his father] that he once saw [Abdullah bin az Zubair] performing ihram for Umrah from At Tan'im. He said again, "I saw him jogging around the Kaaba three times (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 811.) 5th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ God bless you God willing يَرْجِعَ مِنْ مِنًى وَكَانَ لاَ يَرْمُلُ إِذَا طَافَ حَوْلَ الْبَيْتِ إِذَا أَحْرَمَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Nafi'] said, "If [Abdullah bin Umar] performs ihram from Makkah, then he does not perform tawaf in Baitullah and sa'I between Safa and Marwa until he returns from Mina. Nor does he jog while performing tawaf in the Kaaba if he performs ihram from Makkah (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 812.) 6th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ‏"‏ كَيْفَ صَنَعْتَ يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ فِي اسْتِلاَمِ الرُّكْنِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنْ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ أَصَبْتَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Having told me from Malik from [Hisyam bin Urwah] from [his father] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam asked Abdurrahman bin Auf: "How do you do it when wiping the rukun, O Abu Abdurrahman?" he answered; "I rubbed it then left it." Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "You are right (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 814.) 7th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، أَنَّ God bless you كُلَّهَا وَكَانَ لاَ يَدَعُ الْيَمَانِيَ إِلاَّ أَنْ يُغْلَبَ عَلَيْهِ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Hisyam bin Urwah] that if [his father] performs tawaf in the Ka'bah, then his father wipes out all the pillars, and does not leave the Yamani pillars unless it is difficult to do so (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 815.) 8th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ لِلرُّكْنِ الأَسْوَدِ إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وسلم قَبَّلَكَ مَا قَبَّلْتُكَ ثُمَّ قَبَّلَهُ ‏.‏. It has been told to me that Yahya from Malik from [Hisyam bin Urwah] from [his father] said, "[Umar bin al Khatthab] once said when he was performing Tawaf in the Kaaba -while at the Black Stone -, 'You are just a stone, if it weren't for me seeing Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam kissing you, then I would not have kissed you.' Then he kissed her (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 816.) 9th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing لاَ يُصَلِّي بَيْنَهُمَا وَلَكِنَّهُ كَانَ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ God bless you God willing. God willing. God willing. God willing كَانَ أَخَفَّ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَتَطَوَّنَ بَيْنَ الأُسَْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ رُكُوعَ God bless you رَكْعَتَيْنِ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ فِي الرَّجُلِ يَدْخُلُ فِي God willing God willing يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَلاَ يَعْتَدُّ بِالَّذِي كَانَ زَادَ وَلاَ يَنْبَغِي لَهُ أَنْ يَبْنِيَ عَلَى التِّسْعَةِ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ سُبْعَيْنِ جَمِيعًا لأَنَّ السُّنَّةَ فِي God willing مَالِكٌ وَمَنْ شَكَّ فِي طَوَافِهِ بَعْدَ مَا يَرْكَعُ رَكْعَتَىِ الطَّوَافَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing صَلاَةَ لِطَوَافٍ إِلاَّ بَعْدَ إِكْمَالِ السُّبْعِ ‏.‏ وَمَنْ أَصَابَهُ شَىْءٌ بِنَقْضِ وُضُوئِهِ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتْ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ أَصَابَهُ ذَلِكَ وَقَدْ طَافَ God bless you God willing يَتَوَضَّأُ وَيَسْتَأْنِفُ الطَّوَافَ وَالرَّكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَمَّا السَّعْىُ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَقْطَعُ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِ مَا God bless you إِلاَّ وَهُوَ طَاهِرٌ بِوُضُوءٍ ‏.‏. Yahya has told me from Malik from [Hisyam bin Urwah] from [his father] that he never combined two seven rounds without praying between them. But he always prays two rak'ahs after every seven rounds, whether he does it at Maqam Ibrahim or elsewhere (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 817.) 10th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ مَعَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَِ God willing God willing فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ‏.‏. Yahya has told me from Malik from [Ibnu Syihab] from [Humaid bin Abdurrahman bin Auf] that [Abdurrahman bin Abd Al Qari] told him that he once performed tawaf at the Kaaba with [Umar bin al Khatthab] after the morning prayer. After completing Tawaf, Umar looked around him and found that the sun had not yet risen, so he got on his vehicle until he approached Dzu Thuwa, then he prayed two rak'ahs of the sunnah Tawaf prayer (Degree: Sahih. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 818.) 11th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing حُجْرَتَهُ فَلاَ أَدْرِي مَا يَصْنَعُ ‏.‏. Has told me from Malik from [Abu Az Zubair Al Maki] said, "I saw [Abdullah bin Abbas] doing Tawaf after the Asr prayer then going into his room. I don't know what he was doing (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 819.) 12th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ God bless you بَعْدَ صَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ وَبَعْدَ صَلاَةِ الْعَصْرِ مَا يَطُوفُ بِهِ أَحَدٌ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَمَنْ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ بَعْضَ أُسْبُوعِهِ ثُمَّ أُقِيمَتْ صَلاَةُ الصُّبْحِ أَوْ صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرَ يَبْنِي عَلَى مَا طَافَ حَتَّى يُكْمِلَ سُبْعًا ثُمَّ لاَ يُصَلِّي حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ أَوْ تَغْرُبَ ‏.‏ قَالَ وَإِنْ أَخَّرَهُمَا حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ الْمَغْرِبَ فَلاَ بَأْسَ God bless you. God willing يَزِيدُ عَلَى سُبْعٍ وَاحِدٍ وَيُؤَخِّنُ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَيُؤَخِّرُهُمَا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ فَإِذَا غَرَبَتِ الشَّمْسُ صَلاَّهُمَا إِنْ شَاءَ وَإِنْ شَاءَ God willing ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Abu Az Zubair Al Maki] said, "I saw the Kaaba empty after the Fajr prayer and after the Asr prayer. There was no one performing Tawaf around it (Degree: Sahih. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 820.) 13th Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings يَصْدُرَنَّ أَحَدٌ مِنَ الْحَاجِّ حَتَّى يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ فَإِنَّ آخِرَ النُّسُكِ الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ فِي قَوْلِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ فَإِنَّ آخِرَ God willing وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ - لِقَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى ‏{‏وَمَنْ يُعَظِّمْ شَعَائِرَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ تَقْوَى God bless you God bless you وَانْقِضَاؤُهَا إِلَى الْبَيْتِ الْعَتِيقِ ‏.‏. It has been told to me that Yahya from Malik from [Nafi'] from [Abdullah bin Umar] said, " [Umar bin al Khatthab] said; "Never should a person return from the Hajj until he has done Tawaf at the Kaaba, because the end of the ritual is Tawaf at the Kaaba." Regarding Umar's words 'The end of the ritual is Tawaf at the Kaaba', Malik said, "That is the opinion we hold, wallahu a'lam. This is in accordance with the words of Allah Tabaraka Wa Ta'ala: 'And whoever glorifies the syi'ar of Allah, then indeed it arises from the piety of the heart.' -Qs. Al Haj; 32- and Allah says: 'Then the obligatory place (and the end of the period) for slaughtering it is after arriving at Baitul Atiq (Baitullah) ' -Qs. Al haj; 33- then the completion and final limit of all that is baitul 'atiq (baitullah) (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 821.) 14th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، ‏.‏ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الظَّهْرَانِ لَمْ يَكُنْ وَدَّعَ الْبَيْتَ حَتَّى وَدَّعَ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] that [Umar bin al Khatthab] told a man from Mari Zhuhran who had not yet performed tawaf wada' to return again (to Makkah) until the person had performed tawaf (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 822.) 15th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ God willing God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَإِنْ حَبَسَهُ شَىْءٌ أَوْ عَرَضَ لَهُ فَقَدْ قَضَى اللَّهُ حَجَّهُ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَلَوْ أَنَّ رَجُم يَكُونَ آخِرُ عَهْدِهِ الطَّوَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ حَتَّى صَدَرَ لَمْ أَرَ عَلَيْهِ شَيْئًا إِلاَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ قَرِيبًا فَيَرْجِعَ فَيَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ ثُمَّ يَنْصَرِفَ إِذَا كَانَ قَدْ أَفَاضَ ‏.‏. Has told me from Malik from [Hisyam bin Urwah] from [His father] said; "Whoever performs Tawaf Ifadlah, then Allah has fulfilled his Hajj. If he does not encounter obstacles, then he should end his Hajj with Tawaf at the Kaaba. However, if he encounters obstacles, then Allah has fulfilled his Hajj." Malik said, "If someone doesn't know that the final period of his Hajj is to perform Tawaf in Baitullah until he gets home, then I think that's okay. Unless he is still around (Makkah), then let him return again to perform Tawaf in Baitullah, then he will only return home if he has done Tawaf Ifadlah (Degree: Sahih. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 823.) 16th Hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing قَالَتْ شَكَوْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم God bless you وَأَنْتِ رَاكِبَةٌ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَتْ فَطُفْتُ رَاكِبَةً God willing يُصَلِّي إِلَى جَانِبِ الْبَيْتِ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ بِـ ‏{‏الطُّورِ وَكِتَابٍ مَسْطُورٍ ‏}‏‏.‏. Has told me Yahya from Malik from [Abu Aswad Muhammad bin Abdurrahman bin Nufail] from ['Urwah bin Zubair] from [Zainab bint Abu Salamah] from [Ummu Salamah] the wife of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said; "I complained to Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam that I was sick." He said: "You should perform tawaf behind people while driving." Umm Salamah said; "So I did Tawaf by riding my camel." while Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam at that time was praying next to the Kaaba by reading: 'WA THUUR WA KITAABIM MASTHUUR (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 824.) 17th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ God willing God bless you اللَّهِ بْنْ God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind حَتَّى ذَهَبَ ذَلِكَ عَنِّي ثُمَّ أَقْبَلْتُ حَتَّى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. حَتَّى ذَهَبَ ذَلِكَ عَنِّي ثُمَّ أَقْبَلْتُ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنْتُ عِنْدَ بَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ هَرَقْتُ الدِّمَاءَ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ إِنَّمَا ذَلِكَ رَكْضَةٌ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانَ ثُمَّ طُوفِي ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Abu Az Zubair Al Maki] that [Abu Ma'iz Al Aslami Abdullah bin Sufyan] told him that he had sat with [Abdullah bin Umar]. Then a woman came to ask for a fatwa and said, "I was going to the Kaaba to perform Tawaf. When I arrived at the door of the Grand Mosque, suddenly my blood came out. So I went home until my blood stopped coming out. Then I left again, but when I arrived at the door of the Grand Mosque my blood came out again?" Then I left again, but when I arrived at the door of the Grand Mosque my blood came out again?" Abdullah bin Umar said; "It was interference from Satan. So, let us bathe, then cover with a cloth and do tawaf (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 825.) 18th Hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing God bless you ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَبَدَأَ بِالصَّفَا ‏.‏. Has told me Yahya from Malik from [Ja'far bin Muhammad bin Ali] from [his father] from [Jabir bin Abdullah] said; "I heard Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say when he was about to leave the Grand Mosque for Shafa: 'We will start as Allah started.' So he started from Safa (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 827.) 19th hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. رَسُولَ اللَّهْ الصَّفَا يُكَبِّرُ ثَلاَثًا وَيَقُولُ "" God bless you الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ‏"‏ ‏." God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. الْمَرْوَةِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ‏.‏. It has been told to me that Yahya from Malik from [Ja'far bin Muhammad bin Ali] from [his father] from [Jabir bin Abdullah] said, "When Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam stood on the hill of Safa, he said takbir three times and said: "LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH WAHDAHU LAA SYARIIKALAH LAHUL MULKU WALAHUL HAMDU WAHUWA 'ALA KULLI SYAI'IN QADIIR (No there is no god but Allah, the Almighty, there is no partner for Him, and praise is He who determines all things." And he also did the same thing in Marwa (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 828.) 20th hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ قُلْتَ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ وَإِنَّكَ لاَ تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ وَإِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ كَمَا هَدَيْتَنِي لِلإِسْلاَمِ أَنْ لاَ تَنْزِعَهُ مِنِّي حَتَّى تَتَوَفَّانِي وَأَنَا مُسْلِمٌ ‏.‏. Has told me from Malik from [Nafi'] that he once heard [Abdullah bin Umar] praying on the Shafa: "ALLAHUMMA INNAKA QULTA UD'UUNI ASTAJIB LAKUM WA INNAKA LAA TUKHLIFUL MII'AAD. WA INNI AS'ALUKA KAMA HADAITANII LIL ISLAAM AN LAA TANZI'AHU MINNII HATTA TATAWAFFAANII WA ANA MUSLIMUN (O Allah, You said: 'Ask Me and I will grant it. Indeed, You never break a promise. I beg you as You have guided me to Islam, do not take it away from me until death overtakes me while I am in a state muslim) (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 829.) 21st Hadith. God bless you God bless you God bless you أَرَأَيْتِ قَوْلَ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى ‏{‏إِنَّ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا‏}‏ فَمَا عَلَى الرَِ يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا ‏.‏ فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ كَلاَّ لَوْ كَانَ كَمَا تَقُولُ لَكَانَتْ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ لاَ يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا إِنَّمَا أُنْزِلَتْ هَذِهِ الآيَةُ فِي God willing حَذْوَ قُدَيْدٍ وَكَانُوا يَتَحَرَّجُونَ أَنْ يَطُوفُوا God bless you God willing فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى ‏{‏إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ فَمَنْ حَجَّ الْبَيْتَ Allah's blessings ‏}‏. Having told me Yahya from Malik from [Hisyam bin Urwah] from [his father] he said; "I once asked [Aisyah Ummul Mukminin], when I was young: 'Do you know about the words of Allah Tabaraka Wa Ta'ala: 'Indeed Shafaa and Marwa are part of the syi'ar of Allah. Whoever makes the pilgrimage to the House of Allah or performs the Umrah, then there is no sin in him performing the sa'i between the two.' -Qs. Al Baqarah: 156- Then it is okay for someone to leave sa'i." Aisyah answered; "It's not like that, if as you say, of course there is no sin for people who do not perform sa'i. This verse was revealed to the Ansar people, they used to do talbiyah for Manat, which is located in front of Qudaid. They avoided not carrying out sa'i between Shafaa and Marwa. So when Islam came, they asked the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam about it. Allah Tabaraka Wa Ta'ala revealed the verse: 'Indeed Shafa and Marwa is part of the syi'ar of Allah. So whoever performs the Hajj to Baitullah or Umrah, then there is no sin for him performing sa'i between the two' -Qs. 22nd Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، أَنَّ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing love God willing الْعِشَاءِ فَلَمْ تَقْضْ مِنَ الصُّبْحِ فَقَضَتْ طَوَافَهَا فِيمَا بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُ ‏.‏ وَكَانَ عُرْوَةُ إِذَا رَآهُمْ يَطُوفُونَ God willing فَيَعْتَلُّونَ بِالْمَرَضِ حَيَاءً مِنْهُ فَيَقُولُ لَنَا فِيمَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُ لَقَدْ خَابَ هَؤُلاَءِ وَخَسِرُوا ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ مَنْ نَسِيَ السَّعْىَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ فِي عُمْرَةٍ فَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ حَتَّى يَسْتَبْعِدَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ أَنَّهُ يَرْجِْ كَانَ قَدْ أَصَابَ النِّسَاءَ فَلْيَرْجِعْ فَلْيَسْعَ بَيْنَ God willing تِلْكَ الْعُمْرَةْ وَالْهَدْىُ ‏ وَسُئِلَ مَالِكٌ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَلْقَاهُ God willing يُحَدِّثُهُ فَقَالَ لاَ أُحِبُّ لَهُ ذَلِكَ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَمَنْ نَسِيَ مِنْ طَوَافِهِ شَيْئًا أَوْ شَكَّ فِيهِ فَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ إِلاَّ وَهُوَ يَسْعَى بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ فَإِنَّهُ يَقْطَعُ or بِالْبَيْتِ عَم God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَالْمَرْوَةِ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Hisyam bin Urwah] who said, "[Saudah bint Abdullah bin Umar] is the wife of Urwah bin az Zubair. She went out to do sa'i between Shafa and Marwa for Hajj or Umrah on foot, even though she was a fat woman. So she only came when the people had finished performing the evening prayer, and she did not finish performing Tawaf until the first dawn call to prayer was said. However, she still completing his tawaf between evening prayer and the morning call to prayer. Meanwhile, Urwah, if he saw people carrying out tawaf by driving, he strictly forbade them. It has been told to me that Yahya from Malik from [Abu Nadlr] the former slave of 'Umar bin 'Ubaidullah, from ['Umair] the former slave of Abdullah bin 'Abbas, from [Ummul Fadll bint Al Harith] people arguing with each other on their side about the fast of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam on the day of Arafah. Some of them said; 'He is fasting', and some say 'He is not fasting'. Then I gave him a glass of milk while he was on his riding animal, then he drank (Degree: authentic. Al Qasim said; "I once saw her on the evening of Arafat when the imam was leaving. Then Aisyah wukuf until the ground between her and the people became empty. Abdullah said, "Then my father called me to join him in eating together. So I said to him, "I am fasting." Amru bin al Ash said, "These are the days that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade us to fast, and told us to break the fast." Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Abdullah bin Dinar] Bahwasanya ia melihat [Abdullah bin Umar] menyembelih dua ekor unta, dua ekor unta saat haji, dan satu ekor satu ekor saat umrah. Telah menceritakan kepadaku Yahya dari Malik dari [Nafi'] dari [Abdullah bin 'Umar] Bahwasanya jika dia memotong hewan sembelihan dari Madinah, maka dia me nuntunnya dan memberinya tanda di Dzul Hulaifah. Dia menuntunnya sebelum menandainya dalam satu tempat dengan menghadap kiblat; menuntunnya dengan mengenakan kedua sandal, lalu memberinya tanda dari sebelah kirinya. Setelah itu ia menggiringnya hingga tiba di Arafah berkumpul bersama orang-orang.
