Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي هَدَانَا وَأَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَاوَنَعَّمَنَا اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُمَّ God bless you وَأَمْسَيْنَا بِكُلِّ خَيْرٍ نَسْأَلُكَ تَمَامَهَا وَشُكْرَهَا لاَ خَيْرَ إِلاَّ خَيْرُكَ وَلاَ إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ God willing وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ ‏.‏ قَالَ يَحْيَى سُئِلَ مَالِكٌ هَلْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you كَانَ ذَلِكَ عَم تَأْكُلَ مَعَهُ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ ‏.‏ قَالَ وَقَدْ تَأْكُلُ God willing يُؤَاكِلُهُ مَعَ أَخِيهَا عَلَى مِثْلِ ذَلِكَ وَيُكْرَهُ لِلْمَرْأَةِ أَنْ تَخْلُوَ مَعَ الرَّجُلِ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهَا حُرْمَةٌ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Hisyam bin 'Urwah] from [his father] that he is never served food, drink or even medicine that he eats or drinks unless he reads; "Praise be to Allah who has given us guidance, given us food, drink and all pleasures. Allah is the Greatest. O Allah, Your blessings come to us filled with evils, but because of this we can go into the morning and evening in good condition. So we ask You for perfection and thanksgiving, there is no good except from You. There is no god but You, the God of the righteous and the Lord of the Worlds. All praise is due to Allah and there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, what which Allah wills and there is no power except Allah, bless us with what you have provided for us, and protect us from the fire of hell (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1705.) 2nd hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing لَهُ ضَرَاوَةً كَضَرَاوَةِ الْخَمْرِ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] that [Umar bin Khattab] said; "Be careful with meat, indeed it has an opiate like khamr (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1706.) 3rd Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَمَعَهُ حِمَالُ لَحْمٍ فَقَالَ مَا هَذَا فَقَالَ يَا أَمِيرَ God willing God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing ‏{‏أَذْهَبْتُمْ طَيِّبَاتِكُمْ فِي حَيَاتِكُمُ الدُّنْيَا وَاسْتَمْتَعْتُمْ بِهَا ‏}‏. It was told to me from Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] that [Umar bin Khattab] met Jabir bin Abdullah who was carrying meat. Then Umar asked; "What's this?" Jabir answered, "O Amirul Mukminin, we had an appetite for meat, so I bought it for one dirham." Umar asked; 'Does one of you fill his stomach by ignoring his neighbors or his uncle's children? Then what will you do with this verse of Allah: '(You keep your goodness away from worldly life while you have fun with it)' (Qs. Al Ahqaaf:) (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1707.) 4th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ God willing God willing أَلْبَسُهُ أَبَدًا ‏"‏ ‏." خَوَاتِيمَهُمْ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Abdullah bin Dinar] from [Abdullah bin Umar] said, "The Messenger of Allah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam put on a gold ring, then Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam stood up and took it off. After that he said: "I will never wear it again." Abdullah bin 'Umar said; "People also took off their rings (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1708.) 5th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ صَدَقَةَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you أَفْتَيْتُكَ بِذَلِكَ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Shadaqah bin Yasar] saying, "I asked [Sa'id bin Musayyab] about the law of wearing a ring, then he answered; "Wear a ring and tell people that I have such a fatwa (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1709.) 6th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي بَعْضِ أَسْفَارِهِ - قَالَ - فَأَرْسَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَسُولاً قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهْ وَالنَّاسُ فِي مَقِيلِهِمْ ‏ "‏ لاَ تَبْقَيَنَّ فِي رَقَبَةِ God bless you ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Abdullah bin Abu Bakr] from ['Abbad bin Tamim] that [Abu Basyir Al Ansari] told him that he had been with the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam on a journey. He (the narrator) said; "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam then sent a messenger." Abdullah bin Abu Bakr said; "I thought he said when people were in their resting place; "You must not leave hangings from the seams on camels' knees, or necklaces -the narrator doubts-, unless they are cut." Yahya said; "I heard Malik say; "I saw that it was part of 'Ain (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1710.) 7th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing اغْتَسَلَ أَبِي سَهْلُ بْنُ حُنَيْفٍ بِالْخَرَّارِ Facebook يَنْظُرُ قَالَ وَكَانَ سَهْلٌ رَجُلاً أَبْيَضَ حَسَنَ الْجِلْدِ - قَالَ - فَقَالَ لَهُ عَامِرُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ مَا رَأَيْتُ كَالْيَوْمِ وَلاَ جِلْدَ عَذْرَاءَ ‏.‏ قَالَ فَوُعِكَ سَهْلٌ مَكَانَهُ وَاشْتَدَّ وَْكُهُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وُعِكَ وَأَنَّهُ غَيْرُ رَائِحٍ مَعَكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. ‏"‏ ‏." اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَيْسَ بِهِ بَأْسٌ ‏.‏. Yahya has told me from Malik from [Muhammad bin Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif] he heard [his father] say; "Abu Sahl bin Hunaif bathed in the river, then he took off the robe he was wearing, while 'Amir bin Rabi'ah looked on." As'ad bin Sahl said; "Sahl was a young man who was white and had good skin. Amir bin Rabi'ah said to him; "I have never seen skin as good as this, not even a girl's skin." Then Sahl fell ill with a fever, and the illness got worse. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam was then visited and it was reported to him 'Indeed Sahl is sick, he cannot come with you, O Rasulullah! ' Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam then met him, then Sahl reported what Amir had done to him. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam asked: 'Why would one of you want to kill his brother? After that Sahl and Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam departed in good health. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1711.) 8th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مَا رَأَيْتُ كَالْيَوْمِ وَلاَ جِلْدَ مُخْبَأَةٍ ‏.‏ فَلُبِطَ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَلْ لَكَ فِي سَهْلِ بْنْ مَا يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ هَلْ تَتَّهِمُونَ لَهُ أَحَدًا ‏"‏ قَالُوا نَتَّهِمُ عَامِرَ بْنَ رَبِيعَةَ ‏.‏ قَالَ فَدَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَامِرًا God bless you أَخَاهُ أَلاَّ بَرَّكْتَ اغْتَسِلْ لَهُ ‏"‏ ‏." God bless you وَأَطْرَافَ رِجْلَيْهِ وَدَاخِلَةَ إِزَارِهِ فِي قَدَحٍ ثُمَّ صُبَّ عَلَيْهْ ‏.‏. Has told me Malik from [Ibn Shihab] from [Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif] said; "Amir bin Rabi'ah saw Sahl bin Hunaif bathing and he said: 'I have never seen anything like (what I saw) today, not even the skin of a girl in her seclusion.' Then Sahl lay on the ground, so he was brought before the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. Then the Messenger of Allah said, "O Messenger of Allah, do you know anything that happened to Sahl bin Hunaif? By Allah, he cannot lift his head." He asked: 'Do you suspect that someone did this to him?' He asked: "On what grounds did one of you kill his brother. Don't you pray for him to be blessed? Clean yourselves immediately for him!" Then Amir washed his face and hands up to the elbows, both knees and the tips of his feet, then put what was in his sheath in a vessel. Malik no. 1712.) 9th Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. لِحَاضِنَتِهِمَا ‏"‏ مَا لِي أَرَاهُمَا ضَارِعَيْنِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ حَاضِنَتُهُمَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ تَسْرَعُ إِلَيْهِمَا الْعَيْنَ لَهُمَا إِلاَّ أَنَّا لاَ نَدْرِي مَا يُوَافِقُكَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ ‏." لَهُمَا فَإِنَّهُ لَوْ سَبَقَ شَىْءٌ الْقَدَرَ لَسَبَقَتْهُ الْعَيْنُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told me from Malik from [Humaid bin Qais Al Makki] said; "Once two children of Ja'far bin Abu Talib were brought before the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. He asked the nurse: "Why do I see that they are both very thin?" The guard answered, "O Rasulullah, 'ain's disease has attacked them both quickly. There is nothing that prevents us from asking them for a ruqyah, it's just that we don't know whether you agree to it.' Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam then said: 'Ruqyah be upon them, because indeed if anyone could precede destiny, surely 'ain's illness would precede it (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1713.) 10th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing الْعَيْنَ - قَالَ عُرْوَةُ - فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ. It has been told to me from Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Sulaiman bin Yasar] that [Urwah bin Zubair] told him, that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam entered the house of Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, while inside there was a baby crying. They then said that the child was infected with 'Ain." 'Urwah said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Aren't you doing ruqyahnya to ward off 'Ain? (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1714.) 11th Hadith. God willing God willing قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِذَا مَرِضَ الْعَبْدُ بَعَثَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى God willing لِعُوَّادِهِ ‏.‏ فَإِنْ هُوَ - إِذَا جَاءُوهُ - حَمِدَ اللَّهَ - وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ - فَيَقُولُ لِعَبْدِي عَلَىَّ إِنْ God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَدَمًا خَيْرًا مِنْ دَمِهِ وَأَنْ أُكَفِّرَ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been related to me from Malik from [Zaid bin Aslam] from ['Atha bin Yasar] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If a servant is sick, Allah Ta'ala sends him two angels and says; 'Look at what he said to his visitors, if he made tahmid and praised Allah,' then they would both raise him before Allah 'azza wajalla -and He is All-Knowing-, then Allah said; 'I promised My servant, if I kill him, I will put him into heaven. If I heal him, I will surely replace him with flesh that is better than his flesh, and blood that is better than his blood. And I will forgive his bad deeds (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1715.) 12th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ، عَنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings prayer بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ لاَ يَدْرِي يَزِيدُ أَيَّهُمَا قَالَ عُرْوَةُ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Yazid bin Khushaifah] from [Urwah bin Zubair] he said, "I heard [Aisyah] the wife of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say; "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: 'None of the believers suffers a misfortune even to the point of a thorn, unless their sins are reduced, or their mistakes are erased from them'." Yazid don't know which of the two Urwah said (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1716.) 13th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُصِبْ مِنْهُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told me Malik from [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abu Sha'sha'ah] he said; I heard [Abu Hubab Sa'id bin Yasar] say; I heard [Abu Hurairah] say, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever Allah wishes good for him, He will give him a misfortune (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1717.) 14th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you وسلم ‏ "‏ وَيْحَكَ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَوْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ ابْتَلاَهُ بِمَرَضٍ يُكَفِّرُ بِهِ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to me that Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] said, "In the time of Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam there was a man who was visited by death, then someone said: "Congratulations to him, he died without being tested by disease." Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Woe to you! Don't you know, if Allah tests him with a disease, surely with that disease his bad things will be dissolved (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1718.) 15th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings يُهْلِكُنِي ‏.‏ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ امْسَحْهُ بِيَمِينِكَ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ ذَلِكَ فَأَذْهَبَ اللَّهُ مَا كَانَ بِي فَلَمْ أَزَلْ آمُرُ بِهَا أَهْلِي وَغَيْرَهُمْ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Yazid bin Khushaifah] that ['Amru bin Abdullah bin Ka'b Al Aslami] told him, that [Nafi' bin Jubair] told him, from [Uthman bin Abu Al 'Ash] that he had met the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. Uthman said, "At that time I was sick which almost made me die." Uthman bin Abu Al 'Ash again said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam then said: 'Wipe it with your right hand seven times, and read; A'UUDZU BI IZZATILLAHI WA QUDRATIHI MIN SYARRI MA AJIDU (I seek refuge in the glory of Allah and his power from the ugliness that I get)'." Uthman said, "Then I read that, until Allah took away my pain. After that, I always advised my family and others to always read it (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1719.) 16th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God God willing وَجَعُهُ كُنْتُ أَنَا أَقْرَأُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَمْسَحُ عَم بِيَمِينِهِ رَجَاءَ بَرَكَتِهَا ‏.‏. It has been told to me Malik from [Ibnu Shihab] from ['Urwah bin Zubair] from [Aisyah] said, "When Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam felt sick, then he read to himself al mu'awidzat (protective prayers) and blew them. Aisyah said; "When his illness got worse, I read the prayers for him, then I rubbed them on his right hand to get blessings from him (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1720.) 17th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ God willing God bless you وَيَهُودِيَّةٌ تَرْقِيهَا فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ارْقِيها بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] from ['Amrah bint Abdurrahman] that [Abu Bakar As Siddiq] once met Aisyah who was sick at the time, while at her side there was a Jewish woman doing her ruqyah. Then Abu Bakr said; "Ruqyah him with the Book of Allah (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1721.) 18th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing Allah's blessings God willing قَالَ لَهُمَا ‏"‏ أَيُّكُمَا أَطَبُّ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالاَ أَوَ God willing رَسُولَ اللَّهْ الدَّوَاءَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ الأَدْوَاءَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It was told to me from Malik from [Zaid bin Aslam] that during the time of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam there was a man who suffered from a wound that was bleeding. Then he summoned two people from Bani Anmar, both of whom visited him and told him that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam had asked them both: "Which of you is good at healing?" They asked, "Is there any good in treatment, O Messenger of Allah?" Zaid thinks that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The substance that brings down medicine is the substance that brings down disease (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1722.) 19th hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] he said, "News has come to me that at the time of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam Sa'd bin Zurarah received medical treatment in a kay way for pain in his throat and he died (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1723.) Hadits ke-20. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، اكْتَوَى مِنَ اللَّقْوَةِ وَرُقِيَ مِنَ الْعَقْرَبِ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Nafi'] bahwa [Abdullah bin Umar] berobat dengan cara kay karena sakit pada wajahnya, dan ia juga pernah diruqyah karena sengatan kalajengking (Derajat: shahih. God willing بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ، أَنَّ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتَ أَبِي God willing Allah's blessings God bless you عليه وسلم كَانَ يَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نُبْرِدَهَا بِالْمَاءِ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Hisyam bin 'Urwah] from [Fatimah bint Mundzir] said, "If a woman who has a fever is brought before [Asma bint Abu Bakr], then he orders her to take water and sprinkles it between her body and the collar of her clothes. Then he says; "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam ordered us to cool her with water (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1725.) 22nd Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ God willing God bless you بِالْمَاءِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Hisyam bin 'Urwah] from [his father] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Fever is from the overflowing fire of hell so cool it with water (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1726.) 23rd Hadith. love may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَطْفِئُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to me Malik from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Fever is from the overflowing hell of Jahannam so quench it with water (Degree: authentic. It has been told to me from Malik from [Abu Bakr bin Nafi'] from [His father, Nafi'] from [Abdullah bin Umar] said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam ordered to shorten the mustache and grow the beard (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1730.) 25th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَامَ حَجَّ وَهُوَ عَلَى God willing God willing عُلَمَاؤُكُمْ سَمِعْتُ or يَنْهَى عَنْ مِثْلِ هَذِهِ وَيَقُولُ ‏ "‏ إِنَّمَا هَلَكَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ حِينَ اتَّخَذَ هَذِهِ نِسَاؤُهُمْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to me Malik from [Ibn Shihab] from [Humaid bin Abdurrahman bin Auf] that he heard [Mu'awiyah bin Abu Sufyan] preaching on the pulpit during the Hajj season, while taking a piece of hair that was in the hand of a guard, he said, "O people of Medina, where are your ulama? I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbid this kind of thing. He said: 'Bani Isra'il perished when their women took this item (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1731.) 26th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you يَنْظُرُ إِلَى شَعَرِ امْرَأَةِ ابْنِهِ أَوْ شَعَرِ أُمِّ امْرَأَتِهِ بَأْسٌ ‏.‏. Has told me from Malik from [Ziyad bin Sa'd] from [Ibn Shihab] he heard him say; "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam let go of his hair down to his forehead, according to Allah's will, then he parted his hair." Malik said; "There is nothing wrong with a man looking at his daughter-in-law's hair or his mother-in-law's hair (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1732.) Hadits ke-27. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ الإِخْصَاءَ وَيَقُولُ فِيهِ تَمَامُ الْخَلْقِ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Nafi'] dari [Abdullah bin Umar] bahwa dia membenci pengebirian, ia berkata; "Di dalamnya ada kesempurnaan ciptaan (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-28. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ أَنَا وَكَافِلُ الْيَتِيمِ لَهُ أَوْ لِغَيْرِهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ كَهَاتَيْنِ إِذَا اتَّقَى ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَأَشَارَ بِإِصْبُعَيْهِ الْوُسْطَى وَالَّتِي تَلِي الإِبْهَامَ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Shafwan bin Sulaim] Bahwasanya telah sampai kepadanya, bahwa Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Aku dan orang yang menanggung anak yatim, baginya atau selainnya di surga seperti ini, jika dia bertakwa." Lalu beliau mengisyaratkan jari tengah dan jari telunjuk (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 1734.) Hadits ke-29. حَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ الأَنْصَارِيَّ، قَالَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِنَّ لِي جُمَّةً أَفَأُرَجِّلُهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ نَعَمْ وَأَكْرِمْهَا ‏"‏ فَكَانَ أَبُو قَتَادَةَ رُبَّمَا دَهَنَهَا فِي الْيَوْمِ مَرَّتَيْنِ لِمَا قَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ وَأَكْرِمْهَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Yahya bin Sa'id] bahwa Abu Qatadah Al Anshari berkata kepada Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam; "Aku mempunyai rambut panjang hingga mencapai bahu, apakah saya boleh menatanya?" Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam kemudian menjawab: "Ya, dan muliakanlah." Abu Qatadah terkadang meminyakinya dua kali dalam sehari, hal itu berangkat dari apa yang disabdakan oleh Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam: "Ya! dan muliakanlah (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 1735.) 30th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، أَنَّ God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings الرَّأْسِ وَاللِّحْيَةْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings إِصْلاَحَ شَعَرَ God willing God willing الرَّأْسِ كَأَنَّهُ شَيْطَانٌ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Zaid bin Aslam] that ['Atha bin Yasar] he informed him, he said, "When Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam was in the mosque, a man came in with messy hair and an untidy beard. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam then motioned with his hand for the man to leave, as if he was saying 'Let him tidy his hair and beard.' 31st Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْن God willing جَلِيسًا لَهُمْ وَكَانَ أَبْيَضَ اللِّحْيَةِ وَالرَّأْسِ - قَالَ - فَغَدَا عَلَيْهِمْ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَقَدْ حَمَّرَهُمَا - قَالَ - فَقَالَ لَهُ الْقَوْمُ هَذَا أَحْسَنُ فَقَالَ إِنَّ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing فَأَقْسَمَتْ عَلَىَِ God bless you. مَالِكًا يَقُولُ فِي صَبْغِ الشَّعَرِ بِالسَّوَادِ لَمْ God willing God bless you. God bless you كُلِّهِ وَاسِعٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَيْسَ عَلَى النَّاسِ فِيهِ ضِيقٌ ‏.‏ قَالَ وَسَمِعْتُ مَالِكًا يَقُولُ فِي هَذَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing لَمْ يَصْبُغْ وَلَوْ صَبَغَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم God bless you الأَسْوَدِ ‏.‏. Has told me from Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] said; has reported to me [Muhammad bin Ibrahim At Taimi] from [Abu Salamah bin Abdurrahman] that [Abdurrahman bin Al Aswad bin Abdu Yaghuts] said something while he was sitting with people with gray hair and beards. Then the next day, he came out to meet people with hair and beards that had been dyed red. The narrator said, "The people then said to him, "This is better! "'Abdurrahman bin Al Aswad said, "Last night my mother, ['Aisyah] the wife of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam sent her slave named Nukhailah to me. He swore to Allah over me, 'Truly, I will indeed shine.' Then he informed me that [Abu Bakr Ash Shiddiq] also dyed his hair (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1737.) 32nd Hadith. God willing God willing اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِنِّي أُرَوَّعُ فِي مَنَامِي ‏.‏ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ قُلْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وَعِقَابِهِ وَشَرِّ عِبَادِهِ وَمِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] saying, "News has reached me that Khalid bin Walid said to Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam; "I had a bad dream! " Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam then said: "Read: A'UUDZU BIKALIMATILLAHI TAAMMAATI MIN GHADLABIHI WA 'IQAABIHI WA SYARRI 'IBAADIHI WA MIN HAMAZAATISY SYAYAAITTHIIN WA AN YAHDURUUN (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His wrath, His punishment, from the evil of His servants and from whispers of Satan and when they are present) (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1738.) Hadits ke-33. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ أُسْرِيَ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَرَأَى عِفْرِيتًا مِنَ الْجِنِّ يَطْلُبُهُ بِشُعْلَةٍ مِنْ نَارٍ كُلَّمَا الْتَفَتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَآهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ جِبْرِيلُ أَفَلاَ أُعَلِّمُكَ كَلِمَاتٍ تَقُولُهُنَّ إِذَا قُلْتَهُنَّ طَفِئَتْ شُعْلَتُهُ وَخَرَّ لِفِيهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ بَلَى ‏"‏ فَقَالَ جِبْرِيلُ فَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ الْكَرِيمِ وَبِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ اللاَّتِي لاَ يُجَاوِزُهُنَّ بَرٌّ وَلاَ فَاجِرٌ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَشَرِّ مَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا وَشَرِّ مَا ذَرَأَ فِي الأَرْضِ وَشَرِّ مَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا وَمِنْ فِتَنِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَمِنْ طَوَارِقِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ إِلاَّ طَارِقًا يَطْرُقُ بِخَيْرٍ يَا رَحْمَنُ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Yahya bin Sa'id] ia berkata, "Ketika Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam diisrakan, beliau melihat 'Ifrit dari golongan jin mengikutinya dengan membawa sebuah obor api. Setiap menoleh, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melihatnya. Maka Jibril berkata; "Maukah aku ajarkan kepadamu beberapa kata yang jika engkau membacanya, maka apinya akan pada dan ia akan jatuh tersungkur pada mulutnya?" Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam menjawab: "Ya." Maka Jibril pun berkata; "Bacalah: ' A'UUDZU BI WAJHILLAHIL KARIIMI WA BI KALIMAATILLAHI ATTAAMMITI LATII LAA YUJAAWIZUHUNNA BARRUN WA LAA FAAJIRUN MIN SYARRI MAA YANZILU MINASSAMAA`I WA SYARRI MA YA'RUJU MINHAA WA MIN FINATNIL LAILI WAN NAHAARI WA MIN THAWAARIQIL ALAILI WAN NAHAARI ILLAA THAARIQAN YATHRUQU BI KHAIRIN YA RAHMAN. (Aku berlindung dengan wajah Allah Yang Maha Mulia dan dengan Kalimat-Nya yang sempurna, yang tidak dilampaui seorang yang baik maupun pendosa, dari kejahatan yang turun dari langit maupun kejahatan yang naik ke arahnya, dan kejahatan yang tertanam di dalam bumi dan yang keluar darinya. Dari fitnah malam dan siang, dan dari bencana malam maupun siang kecuali bencana yang mendatangkan kebaikan, Wahai Dzat Yang Maha Pengasih) (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 1739.) Hadits ke-34. وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، مِنْ أَسْلَمَ قَالَ مَا نِمْتُ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةَ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ مِنْ أَىِّ شَىْءٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ لَدَغَتْنِي عَقْرَبٌ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ أَمَا إِنَّكَ لَوْ قُلْتَ حِينَ أَمْسَيْتَ أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ‏.‏ لَمْ تَضُرَّكَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepadaku Malik dari [Suhail bin Abu Shalih] dari [Bapaknya] dari [Abu Hurairah] bahwa seorang laki-laki dari Aslam berkata; "Aku tidak bisa tidur tadi malam?" Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bertanya: "Ada apa gerangan?" Ia menjawab; "Aku disengat kalajengking." Maka Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Kalau saja engkau membaca ketika sore hari: "A'UUDZU BIKALIMAATILLAHI ATTAAMMATI MIN SYARRI KHALAQ (Aku berlindung dengan kalimat-kalimat Allah yang sempurna dari kejahatan yang Dia ciptakan) ', niscaya tidak akan membahayakanmu (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 1740.) Hadits ke-35. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ سُمَىٍّ، مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، أَنَّ كَعْبَ الأَحْبَارِ، قَالَ لَوْلاَ كَلِمَاتٌ أَقُولُهُنَّ لَجَعَلَتْنِي يَهُودُ حِمَارًا ‏.‏ فَقِيلَ لَهُ وَمَا هُنَّ فَقَالَ أَعُوذُ بِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ الَّذِي لَيْسَ شَىْءٌ أَعْظَمَ مِنْهُ وَبِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ الَّتِي لاَ يُجَاوِزُهُنَّ بَرٌّ وَلاَ فَاجِرٌ وَبِأَسْمَاءِ اللَّهِ الْحُسْنَى كُلِّهَا مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهَا وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَبَرَأَ وَذَرَأَ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Sumayya] mantan budak Abu Bakar, dari [Al Qa'qa' bin Hakim] bahwa [Ka'b Al Ahbar] berkata; "Kalaulah bukan karena kata-kata yang aku baca, niscaya orang-orang Yahudi menjadikanku layaknya keledai." Lalu ditanyakan kepadanya, "Kata-kata apakah itu?" dia menjawab: "A'UUDZU BI WAJHILLAHI AL AZHIIMI ALLADZII LAISA SYAIUN A'ZHAMA MINHU WA BI KALIMAATILLAH TAAMMATI LLATI LAA YUJAAWIZUHUNNA BARRUN WALAA FAAJIRUN WA BI ASMAA`ILLAHIL HUSNAA KULLIHAA, MAA 'ALIMTU MINHAA WAMAA LAM A'LAM MIN SYARRI MAA KHALAQA WA BARA`A WA DZARA`A" (Aku berlindung dengan wajah Allah yang Maha Agung, yang tidak ada sesuatupun yang lebih besar darinya. Dan dengan Kalimat Allah yang sempurna yang tidak akan mampu dilampaui orang baik dan pendosa, serta (aku berlindung) dengan nama-nama Nya yang baik semuanya, baik yang aku ketahui maupun tidak, dari segala kejahatan yang Dia ciptakan dan yang Dia adakan maupun ciptakan (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-36. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحُبَابِ، سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَقُولُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَيْنَ الْمُتَحَابُّونَ لِجَلاَلِي الْيَوْمَ أُظِلُّهُمْ فِي ظِلِّي يَوْمَ لاَ ظِلَّ إِلاَّ ظِلِّي ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Abdullah bin Abdurrahman bin Ma'mar] dari [Abu Al Hubab Sa'id bin Yasar] dari [Abu Hurairah] berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Allah Tabaraka Wa Ta'ala berfirman pada Hari Kiamat; 'Mana orang-orang yang menginginkan kemuliaan-Ku pada hari ini. Aku akan menaungi pada hari di mana tidak ada naungan selain naungan-Nya (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 1742.) Hadits ke-37. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَوْ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ سَبْعَةٌ يُظِلُّهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي ظِلِّهِ يَوْمَ لاَ ظِلَّ إِلاَّ ظِلُّهُ إِمَامٌ عَادِلٌ وَشَابٌّ نَشَأَ فِي عِبَادَةِ اللَّهِ. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Khubaib bin Abdurrahman Al-Anshari] dari [Hafsh bin 'Ashim] dari [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri], atau dari [Abu Hurairah] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Tujuh golongan orang yang akan mendapatkan naungan Allah pada hari saat tidak ada naungan kecuali naungan-Nya; Seorang imam yang adil. Seorang pemuda yang tumbuh dalam ibadah kepada Allah. Seorang pemuda yang hatinya terpaut dengan masjid. Dua orang pemuda yang saling mencintai karena Allah, mereka bertemu dan berpisah karena-Nya. Seseorang yang berdzikir kepada Allah dalam kesendirian lalu mengucur air matanya. Seorang pemuda yang diajak berzina oleh seorang wanita yang memiliki kedudukan dan kecantikan lalu dia berkata; 'Sesungguhnya aku takut kepada Allah.' Dan seorang laki-laki yang bersedekah, lalu dia menyembunyikannya sehingga tangan kirinya tidak mengetahui apa yang diinfakkan tangan kanannya (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 1743.) Hadits ke-38. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِذَا أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ الْعَبْدَ قَالَ لِجِبْرِيلَ قَدْ أَحْبَبْتُ فُلاَنًا فَأَحِبَّهُ ‏.‏ فَيُحِبُّهُ جِبْرِيلُ ثُمَّ يُنَادِي فِي أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَبَّ فُلاَنًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ ‏.‏ فَيُحِبُّهُ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ يُوضَعُ لَهُ الْقَبُولُ فِي الأَرْضِ ‏.‏ وَإِذَا أَبْغَضَ اللَّهُ الْعَبْدَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ لاَ أَحْسِبُهُ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي الْبُغْضِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Suhail bin Abu Shalih] dari [Bapaknya] dari [Abu Hurairah] bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Jika Allah mencintai seorang hamba, maka Dia berkata kepada Jibril; 'Aku mencintai Fulan maka cintailah ia'. Jibril pun mencintainya, kemudian dia menyeru kepada penduduk langit; 'Sesungguhnya Allah mencintai fulan maka cintailah ia! ' maka penduduk langit pun mencintainya. Kemudian ditempatkan untuknya penyambutan di dunia. Apabila Allah membenci seorang hamba, " Malik berkata; "Menurut perkiraan kami, selanjutnya beliau menyampaikan tentang kebencian Allah kepada seorang hamba dengan redaksi yang sama dengan sebelumnya (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-39. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلاَنِيِّ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ مَسْجِدَ دِمَشْقَ فَإِذَا فَتًى شَابٌّ بَرَّاقُ الثَّنَايَا وَإِذَا النَّاسُ مَعَهُ إِذَا اخْتَلَفُوا فِي شَىْءٍ أَسْنَدُوا إِلَيْهِ وَصَدَرُوا عَنْ قَوْلِهِ فَسَأَلْتُ عَنْهُ فَقِيلَ هَذَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ ‏.‏ فَلَمَّا كَانَ الْغَدُ هَجَّرْتُ فَوَجَدْتُهُ قَدْ سَبَقَنِي بِالتَّهْجِيرِ وَوَجَدْتُهُ يُصَلِّي - قَالَ - فَانْتَظَرْتُهُ حَتَّى قَضَى صَلاَتَهُ ثُمَّ جِئْتُهُ مِنْ قِبَلِ وَجْهِهِ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قُلْتُ وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لأُحِبُّكَ لِلَّهِ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ آللَّهِ فَقُلْتُ آللَّهِ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ آللَّهِ فَقُلْتُ آللَّهِ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ آللَّهِ فَقُلْتُ آللَّهِ ‏.‏ قَالَ فَأَخَذَ بِحُبْوَةِ رِدَائِي فَجَبَذَنِي إِلَيْهِ وَقَالَ أَبْشِرْ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى وَجَبَتْ مَحَبَّتِي لِلْمُتَحَابِّينَ فِيَّ وَالْمُتَجَالِسِينَ فِيَّ وَالْمُتَزَاوِرِينَ فِيَّ وَالْمُتَبَاذِلِينَ فِيَّ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Abu Hazim bin Dinar] dari [Abu Idris Al Khaulani] berkata, "Aku memasuki masjid Damaskus. Ternyata di dalamnya ada seorang pemuda yang bergigi putih berkilau. Apabila orang-orang yang bersamanya berselisih pendapat, mereka mengembalikannya kepada pemuda itu dan menerima pendapatnya. Lalu aku bertanya tentangnya, lantas ada yang menjawab bahwa dia adalah [Mu'adz bin Jabal] . Keesokan harinya, aku bergegas ke masjid pada waktu yang masih sangat pagi, ternyata aku mendapatinya telah mendahuluiku. Aku mendapatinya sedang shalat, maka aku menunggunya sampai dia selesai shalat. Lalu aku menemuinya dari arah depannya seraya mengucapkan salam, aku berkata kepadanya; 'Demi Allah, sungguh aku mencintaimu karena Allah.' Dia bertanya; 'Apakah karena Allah? ' Aku menjawab; 'Karena Allah.' Dia bertanya lagi; 'Apakah karena Allah? ' Aku menjawab; 'Karena Allah.' Dia bertanya; 'Apakah karena Allah? ' Aku menjawab; 'Karena Allah'." Abu Idris berkata; "Dia menarik ujung serbanku dan menarik diriku ke arahnya lalu berkata; Bergembiralah! aku telah mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Allah Tabaraka Wa Ta'ala berfirman; 'Kecintaan-ku pasti turun kepada siapa yang saling mencintai karena-Ku. Siapa saja yang bermajlis karena-Ku, dan saling mengunjungi karena-Ku. Yang saling berusaha karena-Ku'." Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik bahwa telah sampai kabar kepadanya, dari Abdullah bin Abbas bahwa dia berkata; "Tengah-tengah dalam suatu urusan (adil), bersikap lemah lembut dan penyambutan yang baik adalah sebagian dari dua puluh bagian kenabian (Derajat: shahih.
