Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God bless you مَرَّتَيْنِ فَلَمْ أَحْفَظْهُ عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَكَانَ عَبَّاسٌ وَأَبُو سُفْيَانَ مَعَهُ يَْنِي God willing فَخَطَبَهُمْ وَقَالَ الْآنَ حَمِيَ الْوَطِيسُ وَقَالَ نَادِ يَا أَصْحَابَ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ. Has told us [Sufyan] said; I heard [Az Zuhri] once or twice, but I can't remember, from [Katsir bin Abbas] saying; Abbas and Abu Sufyan were with the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he preached in front of them: "Now the war is getting fiercer!" then he said (to Abbas and Abu Sufyan): "Cry out: 'O people to whom the letter Al Baqarah was revealed." God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God God willing God bless you God bless you لَنَخْرُجُ فَنَرَى قُرَيْشًا تَحَدَّثُ فَإِذَا رَأَوْنَا may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind وَسَلَّمَ وَدَرَّ عِرْقٌ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ وَاللَّهِ لَا يَدْخُلُ قَلْبَ امْرِئٍ إِيمَانٌ حَتَّى يُحِبَّكُمْ لِلَّهِ وَلِقَرَابَتِي. It has been told to us [Jarir bin Abdul Hamid, Abu Abdullah] from [Yazid bin Abu Ziyad] from [Abdullah bin Al Harith] from [Abdul Muththalib bin Rabi'ah] said; Al Abbas met Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and said; "We came out then we saw the Quraysh people talking, when they saw us they fell silent." So Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam became angry and sweat came out between his eyes and then said: "By Allah, faith will not enter a person's heart so that he loves you because of Allah and because of your kinship with me." God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings اللَّهُ عَلَيْهْ مَنْ رَضِيَ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا. Has told us [Qutaibah bin Sa'id] has told us [Laits bin Sa'id] from [Ibn Al Had] from [Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Al Harith] from ['Amir bin Sa'd] from [Al Abbas bin Abdul Muththalib] that he heard Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Those who can taste the sweetness of faith are those who are willing to have Allah as their Rabb, Islam as their deen, and Muhammad as their Messenger." God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَرُكْبَتَاهُ وَقَدَمَاهُ. Has told us [Qutaibah bin Sa'id] has told us [Bakr bin Mudlar Al Qurasyi] from [Ibnu Al Had] from [Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al Harith] from ['Amru bin Sa'd] from [Al Abbas bin Abdul Muththalib] said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If a servant prostrates then there are seven parts of his body that prostrate with him. Namely: his face, the palms of his hands, his knees and his feet." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 5th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing رَمَى الْجَمْرَةَ. It has been told to us by ['Abbad bin 'Abbad] from [Ibnu Juraij] from ['Atho`] from [Ibn Abbas] from [Al Fadhl bin Abbas], that he was riding on the back of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam from Muzdalifah, he remained in talbiyah until he threw the jumrah. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 6th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings أَخْبَرَهُ أَم لَمْ يَزَلْ يُلَبِّي حَتَّى رَمَى الْجَمْرَةَ. It has been told to us [Yahya] from [Ibn Juraij] has told me ['Atho`] from [Ibn Abbas], that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam piggybacked Al Fadhl bin Abbas from Muzdalifah. 'Atho` said; Ibn Abbas told me that [Al Fadhl] told him that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam continued to practice talbiyah until he threw the stoning. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 7th Hadith. Allah's blessings الزُّبَيْرَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. جَمْعٍ لِلنَّاسِ حِينَ دَفَعْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ السَّكِينَةَ وَهُوَ كَافٌّ نَاقَتَهُ حَتَّى إِذَا دَخَلَ مِنًى حِينَ هَبَطَ مُحَسِّرًا قَالَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِحَصَى الْخَذْفِ الَّذِي يُرْمَى God bless you وَسَلَّمَ يُشِيرُ بِيَدِهِ كَمَا يَخْذِفُ الْإِنْسَانُو قَالَ God bless you وَقَالَا حِينَ دَفَعُوا. Has told us [Yahya] from [Ibn Juraij] has told me [Abu Zubair] has told me [Abu Ma'bad] said; I heard [Ibnu Abbas] report from [Al Fadhl], saying; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said in the evening at 'Arafah and in the morning at Muzdalifah to the people as we started to leave: "Let us walk calmly!" while pulling the reins of his camel. When he arrived at Mina, precisely when descending the Muhassir valley, he said: "You should (prepare) pebbles for throwing the juror." Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam gestured with his hand like someone who throws. [Rauh] and [Al Bursani] said; "In the Evening at 'Arafah and in the Morning at Muzdalifah..." and "When they started to leave." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 8th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الْفَضْلِ بْنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing God willing مُحْسِّرًا وَهُوَ مِنْ مِنًى قَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِحَصَى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing حَتَّى رَمَى الْجَمْرَةَ. Has told us [Hujain] and [Yunus], both of them said; has told us [Laits bin Sa'id] from [Abu Zubair] from [Abu Ma'bad] the former slave of Ibn Abbas, from [Abdullah bin Abbas] from [Al Fadhl bin Abbas], he said; that he was on the back of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and he said on the afternoon of 'Arafah and the morning of Muzdalifah to the people when we started to leave: "Let you walk calmly!" while pulling the reins of his camel, so that when he entered the Muhassir valley in Mina, he said: "You should (prepare) pebbles for throwing the juror." Al Fadhl said; "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam remained in talbiyah until he threw the juror." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 9th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing فَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ God willing تُزْجَرَا. It has been told to us [Hajjaj] said; [Ibn Juraij] said; has reported to me [Muhammad bin Umar bin Ali] from [Abbas bin 'Ubaidullah bin Abbas] from [Al Fadhl bin Abbas] said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam visited Abbas while he was in our village. We had a dog and a donkey eating grass. Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prayed the afternoon prayer while the two animals were in front of him, and neither of them was removed nor driven away. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 10th Hadith. God willing اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنْ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يُلَبِّي حَتَّى رَمَى الْجَمْرَةَ. It has been told to us ['Affan] has told us [Wuhaib] has told us [Abdullah bin 'Uthman bin Khutsaim] from [Abu Thufail] from [Al Fadhl bin Abbas] that he was carried by the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam from Muzdalifah to Mina, and he remained talbiyah until he threw the jumrah. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَقُولُ قَالَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍلَمَّا أَفَاضَ رَسُولُ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَبَلَغْنَا الشِّعْبَ نَزَلَ فَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ رَكِبْنَا حَتَّى جِئْنَا الْمُزْدَلِفَةَ. Has told us [Yazid bin Abu Hakim Al 'Adani] has told me [Al Hakam] namely Ibn Aban said; I heard ['Ikrimah] say; [Al Fadhl bin Abbas] said: "When Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam hurried to leave (Arafah), I was with him at that time. When we arrived at a valley, he stopped and performed ablution, then we continued our journey again until we arrived at Muzdalifah." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 12th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبَ God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وَكَانَ مَعَهُ حِينَ دَخَلَهَاأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَلَكِنَّهُ لَمَّا دَخَلَهَا وَقَعَ سَاجِدًا بَيْنَ الْعَمُودَيْنِ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ يَْعُو. Has told us [Ya'qub] has told us [my father] from [Ibn Ishaq] has told me [Abdullah bin Abu Nujaih] from ['Atho` bin Abu Rabah] or from [Mujahid bin Jubair] from [Abdullah bin Abbas] has told me [my brother, Al Fadhl bin Abbas] and he was with him when he entered the Kaaba, that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam did not pray in the Kaaba but When he entered it, he prostrated himself between the two pillars and sat down to pray. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 13th Hadith. God bless you لَيْلَى عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنَ God bless you وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ أَفَاضَ مِنْ عَرَفَةَ قَالَ فَرَأَى النَّاسَ يُوضِعُونَ فَأَمَرَ مُنَادِيَهُ فَنَادَى لَيْسَ الْبِرُّ God willing. It has been told to us ['Abdah bin Sulaiman] has told us [Ibn Abu Laila] from ['Atho`] from [Ibn Abbas] from [Al Fadhl bin Abbas] that he was riding on the back of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam when he left Arafat and then he saw people walking in a hurry, so he ordered one of his callers to call; "It is not good to force horses and camels to run, but go in peace!" (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 14th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing God willing Allah's blessings فَيَغْتَسِلُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ الْفَجْرَ ثُمَّ يَصُومُ love لَا أَدْرِي أَخْبَرَنِي ذَلِكَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَِيَ God bless you. Has told us [Ja'qub] has told us [Ibn Shihab's brother's son] from [his uncle] said; has reported to me [Abu Bakar bin Abdurrahman bin Al Harith bin Hisham] said; [Aisyah] and [Ummu Salamah], the wives of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, both said; "One morning the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was in a state of junub because of Jima', then he took a shower before he performed the dawn prayer, and on that day he continued fasting." Then (the hadith) I told Abu Hurairah, he said; "I don't know, but Al Fadhl bin Abbas Radhia Allahu ta'ala 'anhu told me." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 15th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَأَتَوْا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ God willing God willing God willing. It has been told to us [Isma'il bin 'Amru, Abu Al Mundzir] said; has told us [Sufyan] from [Abu Ali Az Zarad] said; has told me [Ja'far bin Tammam] from [his father] said; The companions met the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, or some came to him. So he asked: "What caused you to come to me with yellow teeth. Siwak you, if it would not be a burden on my people, I would have made it mandatory for them to have siwak as I have made it mandatory for them to perform ablution." (Degree: authentic. God willing سَبَقَ إِلَيَّ فَلَهُ كَذَا وَكَذَا قَونَ إِلَيْهِ فَيَقَعُونَ عَلَّ فَيُقَبِّلُهُمْ وَيَلْزَمُهُمْ. It has been told to us [Jarir] from [Yazid bin Abu Ziyad] from [Abdullah bin al Harith] said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam lined up Abdullah, Ubaidullah and many other friends from among the Banu Al Abbas, saying: "Whoever reaches me first, he will get this and that." Abdullah said; Then they competed with each other to get to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, so that some of them touched his chest and some touched his back. Then he kissed them and hugged them." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 17th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you فَمَا كَانَ إِلَّا يَسِيرًا حَتَّى جَاءَ زَوْجُهَا فَزَعَمَ God willing God willing God willing God willing. Has told us [Husyaim] has told us [Yahya bin Abu Ishaq] from [Sulaiman bin Yasar] from [Ubaidullah bin Abbas] said; Al Ghumaisha' or Ar Rumaisha' met Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam to complain about her husband, and the woman stated that her husband did not want to have sex with her. Not long after, her husband came and stated that his wife was lying, but she only did it because she wanted to return to her first husband. So the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said to the woman: "You will not be able to do it until your second husband tastes your honey." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 18th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind شِئْتَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ بَعْدُقَالَ وَقَالَ مَنْصُورٌ وَحَدَّثَنِي عَوْنٌ عَنْ أَخِيهِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بِهَذَا. It has been told to us [Mu'awiyah bin 'Amru] said; Having told us [Za`idah] from [Mansur] from [Abu Hasyim] from [Yahya bin 'Abbad] or from [Abu Hasyim] from [Hajjaj], -Mansur hesitated- from [Sa'id bin Jubair] from [Ibn Abbas], he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam when he said: SAMI'ALLAHU LIMAN HAMIDAH (Allah is All-Hearing to anyone who praises Him), he said: ALLAHUMMA RABBANA LAKA AL HAMDU MIL`AS SAMAWATI WA MIL`AL ARDLI WA MIL`A MA SYI`TA MIN SYAI`IN BA'DU (O our Lord, all praise belongs to You, all the heavens and all the earth and everything after that that You will). Ahmad said; [Mansur] said; and has told me ['Aun] from his brother, namely [Ubaidullah] like this. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 19th hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. يَتَزَوَّجَهَا فَقَالَ إِنَّهَا ابْنَةُ أَخِي مِنْ God bless you يَحْرُمُ مِنْ النَّسَبِ. We have told [Abdullah bin Bakr] and [Muhammad bin Ja'far] they both said; Has told us [Sa'id] from [Qatadah] from [Jabir bin Zaid] from [Ibn Abbas]; that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam wanted to marry Hamzah's daughter, then he said: "She is the daughter of my blood brother, in fact it is forbidden because of factors like what is forbidden because of nasab (lineage)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 20th hadith. God willing Allah's blessings عَْلَى بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍأَنَّهَ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God bless you فَلَمَّا قَضَى نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ God bless you God willing. We have told [Abdullah bin Bakr] and [Muhammad bin Ja'far] they both said; Has told us [Sa'id bin Abu 'Arubah] from [Ya'la bin Hakim] from [Ikrimah] from [Ibn Abbas]; that he opined; "It's okay for people who are in ihram to marry," and he said; "Indeed, Nabiyullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam married Maimunah bint Al Harith at a water source called Saraf, at that time he was in ihram. After Nabiyullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam completed his Hajj, he came, then when he was at the water source, he lived with her." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 21st Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى رَجُلٍ وَفَخِذُهُ خَارِجَةٌ فَقَالَ غَطِّ فَخِذَكَ فَإِنَّ فَخِذَ الرَّجُلِ مِنْ عَوْرَتِهِ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Sabiq] has told us [Israil] from [Abu Yahya Al Qattat] from [Mujahid] from [Ibn Abbas], he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam passed by a man whose thighs were visible, so he said, "Cover your thighs, because in fact the man's thighs are part of the private parts." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 22nd Hadith. Allah's blessings عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنْ God bless you God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing جَبْرَائِيلَ كُلَّ عَامٍ مَرَّةً فَلَمَِ God willing آخِرَ الْقِرَاءَةِ قِرَاءَةُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Sabiq] has told us [Israil] from [Ibrahim bin Muhajir] from [Mujahid] from [Ibn Abbas], he said; "Whose reading was last, Abdullah's or Zaid's?" we answer; "Zaid's reading." He said; "No, because Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam once a year read the Qur'an to Jibra'il, but in the year he died, he read it twice, and the last reading was Abdullah's reading." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 23rd Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God bless you God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind يُحِبُّونَ أَنْ تَظْهَرَ الرُّومُ عَلَى فَارِسَ لِأَنَّهُمْ God bless you بَكْرٍ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing لَهُمْ فَقَالُوا اجْعَلْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكَ أَجَلًا فَإِنْ God willing لَكُمْ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَجَعَلَ أَجَلًا خَمْسَ سِنِينَ فَلَمْ يَظْهَرُوا فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God bless you God willing بَعْدُ قَالَ فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ( قَوْلِهِ وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ }قَالَ يَفْرَحُونَ{ بِنَصْرِ اللَّهِ }. Has told us [Mu'awiyah bin 'Amru] has told us [Abu Ishaq] from [Sufyan] from [Habib bin Abu Amrah] from [Sa'id bin Jubair] from [Ibn Abbas] about His word (Alif laam Miim. Has been defeated by the Romans), he said; "The Romans were defeated and ultimately defeated." He said; "The Mushrikians were happy (hoped) if the Persians could defeat the Romans, because they were idolaters, while the Muslimin people were happy (hoped) if the Romans could defeat the Persians, because they were People of the Book. So the people told it to Abu Bakr, then Abu Bakr told it to Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, then Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed they will win." Ibn Abbas said; Then Abu Bakr told them, and they said; "Determine the time between us and you; if we win, then for us such and such, and if you win, then for you such and such." Then five years were set, but they (the Romans) had not yet won, finally Abu Bakr conveyed this to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi Wasallam, so he said: "You had better set more than that." He said; I think he said: "Ten years." Abdullah said; Sa'id bin Jubair said; Al Bidl'u is below ten, then after that the Romans achieved victory. He continued, "That is (the meaning of) His word: (Alif laam Miim. The Romans have been defeated) until His word (and on the day (of the victory of the Romans) the believers will rejoice). He said; "They rejoice with Allah's help." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 24th Hadith. God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings لِتَسْعَدِي وَإِنَّهُ لَاسْمُكِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُولَدِي. Has told us [Sufyan] from [Laits] from [A man] said; [Ibn Abbas] said to Aisyah; "In fact, you are called ummul mu'minin so that you will be happy, because in fact that was not your name before you were born." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 25th Hadith. God bless you هِشَامٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ أَنَّ ابْنَ God willing God bless you God bless you وَمِلْءَ الْأَرْضِ وَمِلْءَ مَا شِئْتَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ بَعْدُ.
