Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God bless you عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنْ God willing God willing God bless you فَإِنَّهُ طَهُورٌ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Abu Mu'awiyah] said; has told us ['Ashim] from [Hafshah] from [Ar-Rabab] from [Salman bin 'Amir Adz-Dlabby] said; The Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam said: "If one of you breaks his fast with dates, if he doesn't get any then break his fast with water because water is holy." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 2nd hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ ابْنَةِ سِيرِينَ عَنِ الرَِ God willing God willing God willing God. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Abdurrazzaq] said; has preached to us [Hisyam] from [Hafshah bint Sirin] from [Ar-Rabab] from [Salman bin 'Amir Adz-Dlabby] saying; Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "If one of you breaks his fast with dates, if he doesn't get any then break his fast with water. Indeed, water is holy." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 3rd Hadith. God bless you Allah's mercy and blessings. Still through the same transmission route as the previous hadith, from [Salman bin Amir]; and he said: "A newborn child must be accompanied by an aqiqah, let the blood flow (carry out the slaughter) and remove the disturbance." God bless you عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنْ رَسُولَ اللَّهْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings ذِي الرَّحِمِ اثْنَتَانِ صَدَقَةٌ وَصِلَةٌ. Has told us [Yazid bin Harun] said; has preached to us [Hisyam] from [Hafshah] from [Salman bin 'Amir Adz-Dlabby] saying; I heard Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam say: "Almsgiving for the poor is rewarded with almsgiving, while almsgiving for close relatives brings two rewards, the reward of almsgiving and the reward of connecting ties of relatives." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 5th Hadith. God bless you حَدَّثَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ عَنْ or قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَعَ الْغُلَامِ عَقِيقَتُهُ فَأَهْرِيقُوا God willing. God willing. Has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Hisham] said; has told me [Hafshah] from [Salman bin 'Amir] said; I heard the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam say: "A new born child must be accompanied by aqiqah, let his blood flow and get rid of his troubles." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 6th Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا God willing قُشَيْرٍ الْجُعْفِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. فَبَايَعْنَا وَإِنَِ love God bless you أَبَاهُ شِتَاءً وَلَا حَرًّا إِلَّا مُطْلِقَيْ أَزْرَارِهِمَا لَا يَزُرَّانِ أَبَدًا. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Hasyim bin Al Qasim] said; has told us [Abu Khatsmah] from ['Urwah bin Abdullah bin Qusyair Al ju'fy] has told me [Mu'awiyah bin Qurrah] from [his father] said; I met Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam in a group from Muzainah, then we pledged allegiance to him and his robe was just thrown on (unbuttoned), then I pledged allegiance to him, then I put my hand in the pocket of his robe, and touched his ring." 'Urwah said; "In the following days I never saw Mu'awiyah and his father, neither in winter nor summer other than unbuttoning his shirt and not button it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 7th Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ قَالَ God bless you قُرَّةَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبِيلَقَدْ عَمَّرْنَا مَعَ نَبِيِّنَا may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings الْأَسْوَدَانِثُمَِ قُلْتُ لَا قَالَ التَّمْرُ وَالْمَاءُ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Sulaiman] has told us [Rouh] said; has told us [Bistham bin Muslim] from [Muawiyah bin Qurrah] said [my father] said; We once performed Umrah with our Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam and there was no food left for us except Al Aswadan (two black objects) then (Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam) asked, Do you know the meaning of two black objects? I answered, No. he said; "Dates and water." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 8th Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing وَقَدْ كَانَ حَلَبَ وَصَرَّقَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ عَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings أَسَمِعَهُ مِنْهُ أَوْ حُدِّثَ عَنْهُ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Sulaiman bin Daud] said; has told us [Syu'bah] from [Muawiyah bin Qurrah] from [his father] when he met the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, it turned out that he had just blackmailed and tied him up. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Sulaiman] from [Syu'bah] from [Mu'awiyah] said; [my father] has told it to us from the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, I don't know whether he heard it from him or told it from him. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 9th Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing اللَّهُ عَلَيْهْ God bless you مَسْجِدَنَا وَقَالَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا بُدَّ آكِلِيهِمَا فَأَمِيتُمُوهُمَا طَبْخًا قَالَ يَعْنِي الْبَصَلَ وَالثُّومَ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Abdul Malik bin 'Amr] said; has told us [Khalid bin Maisarah] has told us [Muawiyah bin Qurrah] from [his father] said; Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam prohibited two bad trees, saying: "Whoever eats these two, then do not approach our mosque, if you are forced to eat them, remove the smell by cooking them" the two trees are, "Onions and garlic." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 10th Hadith. God bless you God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind وَسَلَّمَفَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُ. Has told us [Husain bin Muhammad] said; has told us [Syu'bah] from [Muawiyah, Abu 'Iyash] said; I heard [my father], he once met the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, and the prophet washed his head and asked for forgiveness for him. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 11th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing أَيَّامٍ مِنْ الشَّهْرِ صَوْمُ الدَّهْرِ وَإِفْطَارُهُ. Has told us ['Affan] said; has told us [Syu'bah] from [Muawiyah bin Qurrah] from [his father] from the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, he said that fasting three days a month is like fasting all the time and breaking the fast. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 12th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing وَهُقَالَ شُعْبَةُ قُلْنَا لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ قَالَ لَا وَلَكِنَّهُ كَانَ عَلَى عَهْدِهِ قَدْ حَلَبَ وَصَرَّ. It has been told to us [Hajjaj] said; has told me [Syu'bah] from [Abu 'Iyas] said; My father met the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam when he was still young, then he rubbed his head and asked for forgiveness for him. Shu'bah said; can he be called a friend? (Abu 'Iyas) said; No, but during his time he was able to express milk and tie wood. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 13th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَادْفِنُوا الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالثَّلَاثَةَ فِي الْقَبْرِ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ نُقَدِّمُ قَالَ أَكْثَرَهُمْ جَمْعًا وَأَخْذًا لِلْقُرْآنِ. It has been told to us [Waki'] from [Sulaiman bin Al Mughirah] from [Humaid bin Hilal] from [Hisyam bin 'Amir Al Ansari] said; At the time of the Battle of Uhud, people were badly injured and exhausted. Then Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Dig a hole and widen it, and bury two or three people in one grave" they said 'O Rasulullah, who do we put first? He said: "The one who collects and memorizes the Qur'an the most." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 14th Hadith. God bless you God bless you God willing هِشَامُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ فَنَهَاهُمْ وَقَالَ إِنَِ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَنَّ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الرِّبَا. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Isma'il] said; has told us [Ayyub] from [Abu Qilabah] said; people bought gold with currency on credit with the condition that there was an addition, then one day [Hisham bin 'Amir] came to them, then forbade such transactions and said; Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam forbade us to sell gold with currency on credit and conditional on additions, he said it was usury." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 15th Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ God willing لَتَخُطُّونَ إِلَى أَقْوَامٍ مَا هُمْ بِيثِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ مِنَّا قُتِلَ أَبِي يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings الِاثْنَيْنّ God bless you فَقُدِّمَ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from [Ayyub] from [Humaid bin Hilal] from [Hisyam bin 'Amir] said; You have come to a people who know no more about the hadith of the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam than we do. My father was killed in the Battle of Uhud, then Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Dig, expand and bury two or three people in one hole. Give priority to the person who has memorized the most of the Qur'an." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 16th Hadith. رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ وَاللَّهِ مَا بَيْنَ خَلْقِ آدَمَ إِلَى قِيَامِ السَّاعَةِ أَمْرٌ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ الدَّجَّالِ. [Hisham bin 'Amir] said; I heard Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam say: "From the time Adam was created until the Day of Judgment occurs, there is no thing greater than the Dajjal." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 17th Hadith. God willing عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكْ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةَ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ هِشَامَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهْ يَهْجُرَ مُسْلِمًا فَوْقَ ثَلَاثِ لَيَالٍ فَإِنْ كَانَ Allah's blessings God bless you فَسَبْقُهُ بِالْفَيْءَ فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ وَرَدَّ عَلَيْهِ سَلََامَهُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَإِنْ مَاتَا عَلَى صُرَامِهِمَا لَمْ يَجْتَمِعَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَبَدًا. Has told us [Rauh bin 'Ubadah] said; has told us [Syu'bah] from [Yazid Ar-Risyk]. Shu'bah said; I read in front of him, saying I heard [Mu'adzah Al 'Adawiyah] say; I heard [Hisham bin 'Amir] say; I heard Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam say: "It is not lawful for a muslim to silence his brother muslim for more than three nights, if they both silence each other for more than three nights, both of them are far from the truth as long as they both remain silent. If one of them returns to his senses from anger, then he realizes that this is atonement for his sins. If 'A' greets his friend 'B' but is not accepted, even though 'A' is still If they both die while silent, then they will not be together in heaven forever." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 18th Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَحِلُِ مُسْلِمًا فَوْقَ ثَلَاثِ لَيَالٍ فَإِنَّهُمَا نَاكِبَانِ عَنْ God bless you سَبْقُهُ بِالْفَيْءِ كَفَّارَةً لَهُ وَإِنْ سَلَّمَ God willing God willing مَاتَا عَلَى صُرَامِهِمَا لَمْ يَدْخُلَا الْجَنَّةَ جَمِيعًا أَبَدًا. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] said; has told us [Syu'bah] from [Yazid Ar-Risyk] from [Mu'adzah] from [Hisyam bin 'Amir] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "It is not lawful for one muslim to silence another muslim for more than three nights. In fact, both of them are far from the truth as long as they both remain silent. The first thing between the two of them repents, then the instant of repentance will be atonement for his sins. If person 'A' says hello to his friend 'B', but person 'B' does not accept it even though Si'A' still wants to answer his greeting, then his greeting will be answered by an angel, and the other's greeting will be answered by Satan. If they both die in silence, neither of them will enter heaven forever." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 19th hadith. God bless you God willing قَالَ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَامِرٍجَاءَتْ الْأَنْصَام may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَصَابَنَا قَرْحٌ وَجَهْدٌ فَكَيْفَ تَأْمُرُنَا قَالَ احْفِرُوا وَأَوْسِعُوا وَاجْعَلُوا الرَّجُلَيْنْ love اثْنَيْ نِ. Has told us [Bahz] said; has told us [Sulaiman bin Al Mughirah] said; has told us [Humaid bin Al Hilal] said; [Hisham bin 'Amir] said; The Ansar came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) at the time of the Battle of Uhud, then they said, 'O Messenger of Allah, we are very badly injured and tired, what do you order us to do! first? He said: "The one who memorizes the Qur'an the most." (Hisyam bin 'Amir) said; then we put Abu 'Amir before anyone or anything else." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 20th hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ God willing هِشَامُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ قَالَقُتِلَ أَبِي يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَقَالَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَوَسِّعُوا وَأَحْسِنُوا وَادْفِنُوا الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالثَّلَاثَةَ فِي الْقَبْرِ وَقَدِّمُوا أَكْثَرَهُمْ قُرْآنًافَكَانَ أَبِي ثَالِثَ ثَلَاثَةٍ وَكَانَ أَكْثَرَهُمْ قُرْآنًا فَقُدِّمَ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has preached to us [Abdurrazzaq] said; has told us [Ma'mar] from [Ayyub] from [Humaid bin Al Hilal] said; has reported to us [Hisyam bin 'Amir] said; My father was killed in the Battle of Uhud, then the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Dig it, expand it, improve it, bury two or three people in one hole. Give priority to the person who has memorized the most of the Qur'an" my father was the third body to come last, only he was the person who had memorized the most so he took priority. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 21st Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي God willing هِشَامِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَشَكَوْا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing وَالثَّلَاثَةَ فِي الْقَبْرِ وَقَدِّمُوا أَكْثَرَهُمْ قُرْآنًافَمَاتَ أَبِي فَقُدِّمَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَجُلَيْنِ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ هِشَامِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ لَمَّا كَانَ God bless you قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَرِيرَ بْنَ حَازِمٍ يُحَدِّثُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنْ هِشَامٍ وَزَادَ فِيهِ وَأَعْمِقُوا. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Abdusshomad] said; has told us [my father] has told us [Ayyub] from [Humaid] from [Abu Ad-Dahma'] from [Hisham bin 'Amir] said; they complained to the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam about the difficulties that befell them. Then (Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam) said: "Dig, improve, expand and bury two or three people in each hole. Give priority to the person who has memorized the most of the Qur'an" then my father was one of those who died and took precedence over the others. Has told us [Wahab bin Jarir] said; has told us [my father] said; I heard [Humaid bin Hilal] tell [Sa'ad bin Hisham] from [his father, Hisham bin 'Amir] saying; at the time of the Battle of Uhud, then mentioned the hadith in full. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us ['Affan] said; I heard [Jarir bin Hazim] narrate this hadith, from [Humaid bin Hilal] and add to it from [Sa'ad bin Hisham] with additions, and deepen it. God bless you يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ قَالَقَدِمَ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْبَصْرَةَ فَوَجَدَهُمْ love God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. عَنْ بَيْعِ الذَّهَبْ أَوْ قَالَ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الرِّبَا. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Hasan bin Musa] said; has told us [Hammad] namely Ibn Zaid, from [Ayyub] from [Abu Qilabah] said; [Hisham bin 'Amir] came to Basra, then found them buying and selling gold in their exchange place, then he stood up and said; Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam forbade buying and selling gold with money on credit, and has informed us or said; that is usury. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 23rd Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّّ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُقَالَ فَفَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ God bless you أَهْلِي وَغَيْرَهُمْ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Rouh] said; has told us [Malik bin Anas] from [Yazid bin Khushaifah] ['Amr bin Abdullah bin Ka'ab As-Sulami] told him [Nafi' bin Jubair] told him, ['Uthman bin Abu Al 'Ash] came to Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam. 'Uthman said; I felt so much pain that I almost died from it, then Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Hold the affected area with your right hand seven times by praying, 'AUDZU BI IZZATILLAH WA QUDRATIHI MIN SYARRI MA AJIDU (I seek refuge in the glory of Allah and all His abilities, from all the evil that befalls me) then I did that so that Allah will remove the pain I am suffering, so I told my family and other people to practice this prayer (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 24th Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing وَامْرَأَةٍ مِنْ قَيْسٍ أَنَّهُمَاسَمِعَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهْ God bless you قَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ أَسْتَهْدِيكَ لِأَرْشَدِ أَمْرِي وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Rouh] and [Abdusshomad] said; has told us [Hammad] said; [Rouh] said; has reported to us [Al Jurairi] from [Abu Al Ala'i] from ['Uthman bin Abu Al Ash] and [a woman] from Qais, they both heard the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, saying: one of the two, I heard him say; "ALLAHUMMA IGFIRLI DZANBI WA KHATAI WA 'AMDY (O Allah, forgive my sins and mistakes that are unintentional or intentional)." One of them said; I heard him (Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam) pray, "ASTAHDIIKA LI ARSYADI AMRY WA `A'UDZU BIKA MIN SYARRI NAFSI" (I ask You for guidance so that my affairs are at the peak of truth, and I seek refuge from my ugliness) " (Degree: authentic. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Abdushshomad] said; has told us [Hammad] from [Al Jurairi] from [Abu Al Ala'i] from ['Uthman bin Abu Al Ash] said; O Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam, make me the imam of my people!
