Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَأَشَارَ بِإِصْبَعِهِ السَّبَّابَةِ. It has been told to us [Waki'] from [Sufyan] from [Hushain] that indeed Bisr bin Marwan raised both his hands on Friday on the pulpit and then ['Umarah bin Ruwai'bah] did not Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihiwasallam add to this and he made a gesture with his index finger. God willing عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَلِجُ النَّارَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ. Has told us [Waki'] from [Sufyan] said; and has told us [Abu Al Walid, Hisham] and ['Affan] said; has told us [Abu Awanah] from [Abdul Malik] ['Affan] said; has told us [Abdul Malik bin 'Umair] from [Ibnu 'Imarah bin Ruwaibah] from [his father] from the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam said: "No person will enter hell who prays before the sun rises and before it sets and there is a man by his side." 'Affan said; from the residents of Basrah. Then (Ibn 'Imarah bin Ruwaibah Radliyallahu'anhu) said; "Did you hear this from the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam?" he answered, "Yes. I witnessed it." Then (Ibn 'Imarah bin Ruwaibah Radliyallahu'anhu) said; "I witnessed, indeed I heard the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam say in the place where you heard it from him." ['Affan] said in it, has related to us [Hasan bin Musa] said; has told us [Syaiban] from [Abdul Malik] from [Ibnu 'Umarah bin Ruwaibah Ats-Tsaqafi] from [his father] said; The Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam said: "You will not go to hell," then mentioned something like that. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 3rd Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind حُصَيْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَلَمَّا دَعَا رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فَقَالَ عِمَارَةُ يَعْنِي قَبَّحَ اللَّهُ هَاتَيْنِ الْيَدَيْنِ أَوْ هَاتَيْنِ God willing عَلَيْهْ وَرَفَعَ السَّبَّابَةَ وَحْدَهَا. Has told us [Musa bin Daud] has told us [Zuhair] from [Hushain bin Abdurrahman As-Sulami] said; I was beside ['Imarah bin Ruwaibah] and Bisyr was preaching to us, while praying, he raised his hands, then Imarah said; "May Allah disgrace those two hands. I have seen Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam giving a sermon, when praying he only raised one index finger." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 4th Hadith. God bless you قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شَبِي نَمْلَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا نَمْلَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيَِ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ هَلْ تَتَكَلَّمُ هَذِهِ الْجَنَازَةُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا حَدَّثَكُمْ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ فَلا God bless you God willing تُكَذِّبُوهُمْ وَإِنْ كَانَ بَاطِلًا لَمْ God willing God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَسَلَّمَ جَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْيَهُودِ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَكِتَابِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ. It has been told to us [Hajjaj] said; has reported to us [Laits bin Sa'ad] said; has told me ['Uqail] from [Ibnu Shihab] from [Ibnu Abu Namlah Al Ansari] [Abu Namlah Al Ansari] told him, actually when he was sitting next to the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, a man from the Jews came and said; "O Muhammad, can this corpse speak?" Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Allah knows best," the Jews said; "I testify, verily it speaks," Then Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "If there are People of the Book who tell you stories, do not confirm them, nor do you lie to them. Say, 'We believe in Allah, His books and His messengers. If it is true, then you do not deny it. If it is false then you do not confirm them." It has been told to us ['Uthman bin 'Umar] said; has told us [Yunus] from [Az-Zuhri] said; [Ibn Abu Namlah] has told me, verily [his father] told me, saying; When I was sitting with Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam, a Jewish man came and mentioned the same hadith as above. Except with the difference in the pronunciation, "On His Book and His Messenger." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 5th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing نَضْرَةَ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ الْأَطْوَلِ قَالَمَاتَ أَخِي وَتَرَكَ ثَلَاثَ مِائَةِ دِينَارٍ وَتَرَكَ وَلَدًا صِغَارًا God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مَحْبُوسٌ بِدَيْنِهِ فَاذْهَبْ فَاقْضِ عَنْهُ قَالَ فَذَهَبْتُ فَقَضَيْتُ عَنْهُ ثُمَّ جِئْلُ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing أَعْطِهَا فَإِنَّهَا صَادِقَةٌ. Has told us [Sulaiman bin Harb] has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Abdul Malik Abu Ja'far] from [Abu Nadlrah] from [Sa'ad bin Al Athwal] said; my brother died, he left a debt of three hundred dinars and a small child. I also want to donate my wealth to them. then Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam said to me, "Your brother is stuck because of his debt, go and pay it!" (Sa'ad bin Al Athwal Radliyallahu'anha) said; "I went to pay it, I came back and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have fulfilled it and there is nothing left except a woman who confessed with two dinars but she has no proof." He said: "Give him verily he is honest." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 6th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing God willing النَّظَرَ وَصَم God bless you وَأَطْيَبَ قَالَ فَتُنْتِجُهَا وََةً love God willing God willing Allah's blessings قُلْتُ إِلَى مَا تَدْعُو قَالَ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَإِلَى الرَّحِمِ قُلْتُ يَأْتِينِي الرَّجُلُ مِنْ بَنِي عَمِّي فَأَحْلِفُ أَنْ لَا أُعْطِيَهُ ثُمَّ أُعْطِيهِ قَالَ فَكَفِّرْ عَنْ يَمِينِكَ وَأْتِ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ كَانَ لَكَ God willing يَكْذِبُكَ وَالْآخَرَ God bless you God willing رَبِّكُمْ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ. Has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] said twice; has told us [Abu Za'ra`, 'Amr bin 'Amr] from [his uncle, Abu Al Ahwash] from [his father] said; I went to the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam then he sharpened his vision and confirmed it and said: "Is it true that you are the owner of the camel, or the owner of the goat?" He replied, "Of these two things, Allah has given me a large and good amount." He said: "Didn't the goat produce offspring or children with perfect (complete) eyes and ears and then you cut off its ears and you said the ears broke off by themselves? Then Sufyan uttered a statement that I could not understand and said: "O poor ear that was cut off, even though Allah's cunning and Allah's scissors are sharper. If Allah had willed, surely He would have brought you with your ears cut off." I (Father Abul ahwash Radliyallahu'anhu) said; "To whom do you call?" He answered, "To Allah and to maintain friendship," I said; "A man from my uncle's Bani came and I swore not to give to him, so I gave him," He said: "Pay your oath and do what is good. What do you think, if you have two slaves, one of whom obeys you, does not betray, does not lie, while the other betrays and lies to you? Musnad Ahmad.) 7th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَيَّ شَمْلَةٌ أَوْ شَمْلَتَانِ فَقَالَ لِي هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ مَالٍ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَدْ آتَانِي اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ كُلِّ مَالِهِ مِنْ خَيْلِهِ وَإِبِلِهِ وَغَنَمِهِ وَرَقِيقِهِ فَقَالَ فَإِذَا آتَاكَ اللَّهُ مَالًا فَلْيَرَ God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you حُلَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ. Has told us [Yazid] has told us [Syarik bin Abdullah] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Abu Al Ahwash] from [his father] said; I met Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam and I brought one clothes or two clothes, then he said: "Do you have any wealth?," so I answered, "Yes, indeed Allah Azzawajalla has given all His wealth, from His horses, His camels, His goats and His slaves." (Aswad bin Amir Radliyallahu'anhu) said; "Then I left in the morning dressed in red." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 8th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ الرَّجُلُ أَمُرُّ بِهِ فَلَا يُضَيِّفُنِي وَلَا يَقْرِينِي فَيَمُرُّ بِي فَأَجْزِيهِ قَالَ لَا بَلْ اقْرِهِ قَالَ فَرَآنِي رَثَّ الْهَيْئَةِ فَقَالَ هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ مَالٍ فَقُلْتُ قَدْ أَعْطَانِي اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ كُلِّ الْمَالِ مِنْ الْإِبِلِ وَالْغَنَمِ قَالَ فَلْيُرَ أَثَرُ نِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ. Has told us [Abu Ahmad] said; has told us [Sufyan] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Abu Al Ahwash] from [His father, Malik] said; I said; "O Messenger of Allah, there was a man I passed by but they did not welcome me, and they did not respect me, and did not respect me but I respected him." He said: "Welcome and respect," (Malik bin Nadlah Radliyallahu'anhu) said; "Then he saw me in my ugly appearance, he asked, 'Do you have any wealth?' Then I answered, 'Indeed Allah Azzawajalla has given you wealth from camels and goats." He said: "Then show off the traces of Allah's blessings bestowed upon you." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 9th Hadith. God bless you عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصْ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهَ God willing God willing فَأَعْطِيَنَّ الْفَضْلَ وَلَا تَعْجَزْ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ. It has been related to us ['Ubaidah] said; has told me [Abu Az-Za'ra`] from [Abu Al Ahwash] from [his father, Malik bin Nadllah] said; Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "There are three hands: the hand of Allah, which is the highest, the hand of the one who gives, which is after him and the hand of the person who asks, which is the lowest. So give what you have and don't feel weak about yourself." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 10th Hadith. God bless you God willing Allah's blessings love God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing love إِبْرَاهِيمَ لِمَكَانٍ تَبَاعَدَهُ عَمْرٌو. It has been told to us [Sufyan] from ['Amr] namely Ibn Dinar, from ['Amr bin Abdullah bin Shafwan] from [Yazid bin Syaiban] said; [Ibnu Mirba' Al Ansari] came to us and at that time we were in a far away place, then said; "I am the messenger of Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam to you (he said) "Stick to your rituals of worship, in fact you are in one of the inheritances of Abraham's inheritance in a place shunned by 'Amru. God bless you قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنَ God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَهُأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الْبَحْرَيْنْ God bless you الْبَحْرَيْنِ فَسَمِعَتْ الْأَنْصَارَ صَلَاةَ الْفَجْرَ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ God willing لَهُ فَتَبَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ on Allah's blessings مَا وَأَمِّلُوا مَا يَسُرُّكُمْ فَوَاللَّهِ مَا الْفَقْرَ أَخْشَى عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَكِنِّي أَخْشَى أَنْ تُبْسَطَ الدُّنْيَا عَلَيْكُمْ كَمَا بُسِطَتْ عَلَى مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ فَتَا God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُِ مَخْرَمَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ عَوْفٍ وَهُوَ حَلِيفُ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عُبَيْدَةَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ. It has been related to us [Ya'qub] said; has told us [my father] from [Salih] [Ibn Shihab] said; [Urwah bin Az-Zubair] has informed me, indeed [Al Miswar bin Makhramah] informed me, indeed ['Amr bin Auf] is the representative of Bani 'Amir bin Luhay, he took part in the Battle of Badr with Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam, he informed him, Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihiwasallam sent Abu 'Ubaidah bin Al Jarah to Bahrain to bring his jizyah. The Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam entered into a peace agreement with the people of Bahrain and their leader was Al 'Ala` bin Al Hadlrami. Then Abu 'Ubaidah came with treasure from Bahrain. The Ansar people heard of his arrival, it coincided with the dawn prayer time of Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam. When Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihiwasallam finished the morning prayer, they broke up and met him, then Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihiwasallam smiled. Then he said: "I am sure you have heard Abu 'Ubaidah coming with something." They said; "O Messenger of Allah," He said: "Be happy, and have fun with what pleases you. By Allah, it is not poverty that I fear for you, but I fear that the world will be presented to you as it was presented to those before you. You compete with each other as they compete. You are negligent, as they were heedless." Has told us [Sa'ad] has told me [my father] from [Salih] from [Ibn Shihab] said; In fact, ['Urwah bin Az-Zubair] reported to me, indeed [Al Miswar bin Makhramah] informed me, indeed ['Amr bin Auf] was the representative of Bani 'Amir bin Lu`y, he took part in the Battle of Badr with Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihiwasallam and informed him that Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihiwasallam sent Abu 'Ubaidah, then mentioned my hadith with the one above. God bless you God willing أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. لَا يَدْرِي عَمْرٌو أَيَّ مَاءٍ هُوَ. Has related to us [Sufyan] from ['Amr] said; has informed me that [Abu Al Minhal] had heard [Iyas bin Abd Al Muzani] one of the companions of the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam say; "Don't sell water, because I heard that the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam forbade selling water." 'Amru didn't know what water meant. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 13th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مُزَيْنَةَ أَنَّهُقَالَتْ لَهُ أُمُّهُ أَلَا تَنْطَلِقُ God bless you كَمَا يَسْأَلُهُ النَّاسُ فَانْطَلَقْتُ أَسْأَلُهُ فَوَجَدْتُهَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing هِيَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ خَمْسِ أَوَاقٍ وَلِغُلَامِهِ نَاقَةٌ أُخْرَى هِيَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ خَمْسِ أَوَاقٍ فَرَجَعْتُ وَلَمْ أَسْأَلْهُ. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr Al Hanafi] said; has told us [Abdul Hamid] from [his father] from [a man from Muzainah] actually his mother said to him "Would you like to go to the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam and ask him as people ask him?" I also went to ask him for something. I found him standing giving a sermon and saying: "Whoever refrains from doing what is haram and asks from people, Allah will surely take care of him. Whoever has enough, Allah will surely provide for him. Whoever asks from people and he has assets equivalent to five uqiyah (forty silver dirhams) then he has asked urgently," then I said; "I had one camel that was better than five uqiyahs, and my servant also had another camel that was better than five uqiyahs, so I went home and did not ask for anything." God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you دَفَعَ عَنْ صَاحِبِهِ وَلَا أَمْلِكُ لَهُ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا وَلَأَتَمَحَّلَنَّ لَهُ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ وَكُوِيَ بِخَطَّيْنِ فَوْقَ رَأْسِهِ فَمَاتَ. Has told us [Rauh] has told us [Zam'ah bin Salih] said; I have heard [Ibnu Shihab] tell the truth that [Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif] told him, from [Abu Umamah, As'ad bin Zurarah] he was one of the tribal leaders at the Aqabah incident. He was injured by a weapon, the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam came to visit him. He said: "As ugly as a corpse is a Jew," he said this twice, and indeed they would comment, 'Oh, why doesn't he defend his friend, even though I can bring no harm or benefit to him', I will indeed try to cure him." Then he ordered him to be treated with kay (a method of treatment with a hot iron torch) on the two tops of his head, only for him to die. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 15th Hadith. God willing الْمَسْعُودِيُِ قَالَأَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ أَرْبَعَةُ نَفَرٍ وَمَعَنَا فَرَسٌ فَأَعْطَى كُلَّ إِنْسَانٍ مِنَّا سَهْمًا وَأَعْطَى الْفَرَسَ سَهْمَيْنِ. Has told us [Abu Abdurrahman bin Al Muqri`] has told us [Al Mas'udi] said; has told me [Abu 'Amrah] from [his father] said; "We went to Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihiwasallam, there were four of us on foot at that time and a soldier on horseback, so he gave each of us one part for the foot soldiers and two parts for the horsemen." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 16th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍأَنَِ God willing God bless you God bless you فَقَالَ ادْعُهُ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ فَيُحْسِنَ وُضُوءَهُ فَيُصَلِّيَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَيَدْعُوَ بِهَذَا God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you هَذِهِ فَتَقْضِي لِي اللَّهُمَّ شَفِّعْهُ فِيَّ. Has told us ['Uthman bin 'Umar] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Abu Ja'far] said; I have heard ['Umarah bin Huzaimah] tell from ['Uthman bin Hunaif], there was a blind man who came to the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam and said; "Pray to Allah to heal me." He said: "If you want, I will pray for you and if you want I will postpone my prayer and that is better for you." Then the person said; "Pray," then he ordered the person to perform ablution properly and then pray two rak'ahs. Then pray with prayer: "O Allah, verily I ask You, I confront You with Your prophet, Muhammad, the Prophet of the Most Merciful, O Muhammad, verily I pray through Your intercession to my Lord in this need of mine, so decide for me. O Allah, heal me." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 17th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing اللَّهُ عَلَيْهْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَهُوَ أَفْضَلُ لِآخِرَتِكَ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ دَعَوْتُ لَكَ قَالَ لَا بَلْ ادْعُ اللَّهَ لِي فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ وَأَنْ يُصَلِّيَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَنْ يَدْعُوَ بِهَذَا الدُّعَاءِ God willing God willing نَبِيِّ الرَّحْمَةْ God bless you فِيهِ وَتُشَفِّعُهُ فِيَّ قَالَ فَكَانَ يَقُولُ هَذَا مِرَارًا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فِيهِ قَالَ فَفَعَلَ الرَّجُلُ فَبَرَأَحَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing قَدْ ذَهَبَ بَصَرُهُ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ. Has told us [Rouh] said; has told us [Syu'bah] from [Abu Ja'far Al Madini] said; I heard ['Umarah bin Huzaimah bin Thabit] tell from ['Uthman bin Hunaif], There was a blind man who came to the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam and said; "O Nabiyullah, pray to Allah to heal me." He said: "If you wish, I will postpone my prayer and that is more important for your afterlife. And if you wish, I will pray for you" Then the person said; "No, but pray for me," then he ordered the person to perform ablution and then pray two rakats. Then pray with prayer: "O Allah, verily I ask You, I put my trust in You through Your prophet, Muhammad sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, the Prophet of the Most Merciful, O Muhammad, verily I have directed with you to my Lord this need of mine, and you are seeking healing for me." ('Uthman bin Hunaif Radliyallahu'anhu) said; "Then the person read it continuously," Later that day the person said, "As I remember at that time there was a sentence 'in the hope that you can help me through your prayers'," ('Uthman bin Hunaif Radliyallahu'anhu) said; "Then the man did it and was cured." It has been related to us [Mu`ammal] said; has told us [Hammad] namely Ibn Salamah said; has told us [Abu Ja'far Al Khathmi] from ['Umarah bin Huzaimah bin Thabit] from ['Uthman bin Hunaif], there was a man who came to the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, he was blind. God bless you God bless you God willing God bless you God willing عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَإِذَا رَجُلٌ يُحَدِّثُهُما God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. يَوْمًا فَأَقْبَلَ رَجُلٌ فَصَلَّى فِي هَذَا الْعَمُودِ فَعَجَّلَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُتِمَّ صَلَاتَهُ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهْ لَوْ مَاتَ لَمَاتَ وَلَيْسَ مِنْ الدِّينِ عَلَى شَيْءٍ إِنَّ God willing God willing الْأَنْصَارِيُّ. Has told us [Hasan bin Musa] Has told us [Ibn Lahi'ah] Has told us [Al Harith bin Yazid] from [Bara` bin Uthman Al Ansari] from [Hani` bin Mu'awiyah Ash Shadafi] that he told him, he said, "I once performed the Hajj at the time of Uthman bin Affan, then I sat in the Mosque of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, then there was a man who was telling (hadith) to them. He said, "One day we were at the side of the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, then a man came and prayed at this pillar in a hurry before completing his prayer, then he came out. So the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed, if this person dies, then he will not have any part of this religion in the slightest. Indeed, a man should lighten his prayer and also perfect (its performance)." Hani` bin Mu'awiyah said, "Then I asked about the man, who he really was. Having told us [Muhammad bin Mus'ab] he said, Having told us [Al Auza'i] from [Yahya bin Abu Katsir] from [Abu Salamah] from [Ja'far bin Amruu bin Umayyah Adl Dlamrui] from [his father] he said, "I saw Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam rubbing both the khuf and Khimar (a type of imamah head covering)." It has been told to us [Ja'qub] has told us [my father] from [Salih] from [Ibn Shihab] has told me [Ja'far bin Amru bin Umayyah] that [his father] said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah cutting the shoulder of a goat and he was invited to perform the prayer, so he took off his knife (to fulfill the call to prayer) without performing ablution." He told us [Ja'qub], he said, he told us [my father], from [Ibn Shihab] from [Ja'far bin Amru bin Umayyah] from [his father] he said, "I once saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) eating and cutting off the shoulder of a goat, then he was called to perform the prayer, so he prayed while he was not performing ablution." Has told us [Abu Abdirrahman Al Muqri] has told us [Haiwah] has told me [Ayyas bin Abbas] that [Kulaib bin Shubaih] told him, that [Az Zibriqan] told him, from his uncle [Amru bin Umayyah Adl Dlamri] he said, "We once accompanied Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam on part of his journey. Then he fell asleep so he didn't pray. dawn, and they had not yet woken up even though the sun had risen. So the Messenger of Allah began praying two rak'ahs, then the iqamah was said and he prayed." God bless you فَلَمْ يُرَ لِخُبَيْبٍ أَثَرٌ حَتَّى السَّاعَةِقَالَ أَبُو God bless you God willing يَذْكُرْ الزُّهْرِيَّ وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ اَْنُ بِالْكُوفَةِ فَجَعَلَهُ لَنَا عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ. He told us [Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Abu Syaibah], and he said, 'I heard it from [Abdullah bin Abu Syaibah] in Kufa', he said, he told us [Ja'far bin Aun] from [Ibrahim bin Isma'il] he said, he told me [Ja'far bin Amru bin Umayyah] from [his father] that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sent him alone as spies for the Quraysh. He said, "I went to the log (where Khubaib was hanged) full of worry that Quraish spies would find out. Then I climbed onto the log and let go of Khubaib until Khubaib's body fell to the ground. Then I stepped aside not far from that place, when I turned around I didn't find Khubaib in his place anymore, it was as if he had been swallowed by the earth and his traces were no longer visible." Abdurrahman said; Ibn Abu Syaibah mentioned to us that Az Zuhri mentioned it. And as for my father, he told us without mentioning Az Zuhri's name. And [Ibn Abu Syaibah] related it to us in Kufa, and he relied on it from [Az Zuhri]. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 28th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ قَالَ حَدَِ God bless you God willing God willing God bless you قُتِلْتُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ قَالَ الْجَنَّةُ فَلَمَّا وَلَّى قَالَ إِلَّا الدَّيْنُ سَارَّنِي بِهِ جِبْرِيلُ عَم السَّلَام آنِفًا. Has told us [Muhammad bin Bisyr] he said, has told us [Muhammad bin Amru] he said, has told us [Abu Kathir] a former slave of Al Laitsiyyin, from [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Jahsy], that a man came to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and said, "O Messenger of Allah, what will be the reward for me if I am killed in the way of Allah?" He answered, "Heaven." Then when he turned away, he said: "Except for debts, Jibril 'Alaihis Salam has already told me about it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 29th Hadith. Has told us [Khalaf bin Walid] has told us [Abbad bin Abbad] has told us [Muhammad bin Amru] from [Abu Katsir] the former slave of Al Hilaliyyin, from [Muhammad bin Jahsy] from [his father] he said, "A man came to the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and said, "O Rasulullah, what reward will I get if I fight in the way of Allah until I killed?" He answered: "Heaven." The narrator said, "After turning around, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Except for debts, Jibril 'Alaihis Salam has told me about it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 30th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing جَارَيْنِ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَوْ فِي الدَِ God willing طُوِّقَهُ مِنْ سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ. He has told us [Abdul Malik bin Amru] he said, he has told us [Zuhair] - namely Ibn Muhammad - from [Abdullah] - namely Ibnu Muhammad bin Aqil - from [Atha bin Yasar] from [Abu Malik Al Asyja'i] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Indeed, the greatest betrayal in the sight of Allah (is regarding) one cubit of land. Where you find two men who share land or residence next to each other, then one of them takes one cubit from his friend's share, and if he really takes it, seven layers of earth will be placed on him until the Day of Resurrection." God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَسَأَلَهُ فَقَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings يَقُولُ زَعَمَ ابْنُ خَدِيجٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ كِرَاءِ الْمَزَارِعِ. He told us [Isma'il bin Ibrahim] he said, he told us [Ayyub] from [Nafi'] that Ibn Umar had reached him that [Rafi'] told him regarding that matter, with the prohibition of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. Ibn Umar then came to Rafi' and asked him, Rafi' then answered, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam has prohibited renting out agricultural land." After that Ibn Umar no longer rented out land. And if he was asked, he answered, "Ibn Khadij is sure that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam has prohibited renting out agricultural land." Has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Malik bin Anas] he said, has told me [Rabi'ah] from [Hanzhalah bin Qais] from [Rafi' bin Khadij] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade renting out agricultural land." The narrator said, "I said, "Is it (what he forbade) gold and silver?" Rafi' answered, "No, in fact what he forbade was only (leasing) anything that came out of it. As for gold and silver, there is no problem." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 33rd Hadith. Has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] Has told us [Muhammad bin Yusuf] he said; I heard [Sa`ib bin Yazid bin Ukhti Namri] from [Rafi' bin Khadij] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The worst income is the result of selling dogs, wages for cupping and payments for prostitution." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 34th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing قَالَ لَا قَطْعَ فِي ثَمَرٍ وَلَا كَثَرٍ. It has been told to us [Yazid] has been told to us by [Yahya bin Sa'id Al Ansari] from [Muhammad bin Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Rafi' bin Khadij] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "There is no law of cutting off one's hand on fruits and neither on dates." Hadits ke-35. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بُشَيْرُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي حَارِثَةَ أَنَّ رَافِعَ بْنَ خَدِيجٍ وَسَهْلَ بْنَ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ حَدَّثَاهُأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ الْمُزَابَنَةِ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ إِلَّا أَصْحَابَ الْعَرَايَا فَإِنَّهُ قَدْ أَذِنَ لَهُمْ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Usamah] dia berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Walid bin Katsir] dia berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Busyair bin Yasar] -budak Bani Haritsah- bahwa [Rafi' bin Khadij] dan [Sahal bin Abu Hatsmah] menceritakan kepadanya, bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melarang Muzabanah kurma muda dengan kurma kering, kecuali bagi Ashabul 'Araaya, sesungguhnya mereka telah mendapatkan izin." Hadits ke-36. حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَكُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ مِنْ تِهَامَةَ فَأَصَبْنَا غَنَمًا وَإِبِلًا قَالَ فَعَجَّلَ الْقَوْمُ فَأَغْلَوْا بِهَا الْقُدُورَ فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَ بِهَا فَأُكْفِئَتْ ثُمَّ قَالَ عَدْلُ عَشْرَةٍ مِنْ الْغَنَمِ بِجَزُورٍ قَالَ ثُمَّ إِنَّ بَعِيرًا نَدَّ وَلَيْسَ فِي الْقَوْمِ إِلَّا خَيْلٌ يَسِيرَةٌ فَرَمَاهُ رَجُلٌ بِسَهْمٍ فَحَبَسَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ لِهَذِهِ الْبَهَائِمِ أَوَابِدَ كَأَوَابِدِ الْوَحْشِ فَمَا غَلَبَكُمْ مِنْهَا فَاصْنَعُوا بِهِ هَكَذَا قَالَ فَقَالَ رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ إِنَّا لَنَرْجُو وَإِنَّا لَنَخَافُ أَنْ نَلْقَى الْعَدُوَّ غَدًا وَلَيْسَ مَعَنَا مُدًى أَفَنَذْبَحُ بِالْقَصَبِ قَالَ أَعْجِلْ أَوْ أَرِنْ مَا أَنْهَرَ الدَّمَ وَذُكِرَ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ فَكُلْ لَيْسَ السِّنَّ وَالظُّفُرَ وَسَأُحَدِّثُكُمْ عَنْ ذَلِكَ أَمَّا السِّنُّ فَعَظْمٌ وَأَمَّا الظُّفُرُ فَمُدَى الْحَبَشَةِ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Waki'] dia berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan] dari [Bapaknya] dari [Abayah bin Rifa'ah] dari kakeknya [Rafi' bin Khadij] dia berkata, "Kami pernah bersama Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam di Dzul Hulaifah wilayah Tihamah. Lalu kami mendapatkan harta ghanimah berupa kambing dan unta." Rafi' bin Khadij melanjutkan perkataannya, "Orang-orang kemudian menyegerakan untuk memasaknya, hingga mereka pun merebusnya dengan periuk besar. Kemudian Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam datang seraya memerintahkan untuk mematikannya, maka periuk itu pun dimatikan apinya." Setelah itu beliau bersabda: "Sepuluh ekor kambing itu sebanding dengan satu ekor unta." Rafi' bin Khadij) berkata, "Kemudian ada seekor unta mencoba kabur, sementara orang-orang yang ada dalam rombongan tersebut tidak ada yang memiliki kuda, hingga mereka pun memanah unta tersebut dan menangkapnya. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam kemudian bersabda: "Sesungguhnya binatang-binatang ini mempunyai sifat busa sebagaimana binatang buas. Maka jika satu darinya memberontak kalian, lakukanlah pada seperti ini." Ayabah berkata; Maka Rafi' bin Khadij berkata, "Sesungguhnya kami sangat berharap dan juga merasa takut untuk bertemu dengan pasukan musuh pada esok hari, sebab kami tidak memiliki pisau. Maka apakah kami boleh menyembeliah dengan Qashab (tumbuh-tumbuhan yang berbuku dan beruas)?" beliau bersabda: "Sembelihlah dengan sesuatu yang dapat mengalirkan darah, sebutlah nama Allah atasnya, lalu makanlah. Dan tidak dengan tulang dan kuku. Akan saya akan menceritakan kepadamu, bahwa As Sinn adalah tulang, sedangkan Azh Zhufur adalah pisau Habasyah." (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-37. حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنْ وَائِلٍ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ الْكَسْبِ أَطْيَبُ قَالَ عَمَلُ الرَّجُلِ بِيَدِهِ وَكُلُّ بَيْعٍ مَبْرُورٍ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yazid] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Mas'udi] dari [Wa`il Abu Bakr] dari [Abayah bin Rifa'ah bin Rafi' bin Khadij] dari kakeknya [Rafi' bin Khadij] dia berkata, "Dikatakan, "Wahai Rasulullah, mata pencaharian apakah yang paling baik?" beliau bersabda: "Pekerjaan seorang laki-laki dengan tangannya sendiri dan setiap jual beli yang mabrur." Hadits ke-38. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَوْرِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdurrahman] dari [Sufyan] dari [Bapaknya] dari [Abayah bin Rifa'ah] dia berkata, telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Rafi' bin Khadij] dia berkata, "Saya mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Sakit demam adalah dari hawa panasnya nerakan jahannam, maka padamkanlah ia dengan air." Hadits ke-39. حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ عَنْ أَبِي النَّجَاشِيِّ مَوْلَى رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَسَأَلْتُ رَافِعًا عَنْ كِرَاءِ الْأَرْضِ قُلْتُ إِنَّ لِي أَرْضًا أُكْرِيهَا فَقَالَ رَافِعٌ لَا تُكْرِهَا بِشَيْءٍ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ فَلْيَزْرَعْهَا فَإِنْ لَمْ يَزْرَعْهَا فَلْيُزْرِعْهَا أَخَاهُ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَفْعَلْ فَلْيَدَعْهَا فَقُلْتُ لَهُ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ تَرَكْتُهُ وَأَرْضِي فَإِنْ زَرَعَهَا ثُمَّ بَعَثَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ التِّبْنِ قَالَ لَا تَأْخُذْ مِنْهَا شَيْئًا وَلَا تِبْنًا قُلْتُ إِنِّي لَمْ أُشَارِطْهُ إِنَّمَا أَهْدَى إِلَيَّ شَيْئًا قَالَ لَا تَأْخُذْ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hasyim bin Qasim] dia berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ikrimah] dari [Abu Najasyi] -budak Rafi' bin Khadij- dia berkata, "Saya pernah bertanya kepada [Rafi'] mengenai penyewaan tanah. Saya katakan, "Saya memiliki tanah yang disewakan?" Maka Rafi' berkata, "Jangan kamu sewakan dengan sesuatu pun. Karena sesungguhnya saya telah mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Barangisapa memiliki tanah maka hendaklah ia mengolahnya (dengan menanaminya tanaman) dan jika ia tidak mengolahnya maka hendaknya tanah itu diserahkan pengolahananya kepada saudaranya, maka jika dilakukan lebih baik didiamkan." Saya lalu bertanya kepada beliau, "Jika saya meninggalkan saudaraku bersama kebun itu, kemudian ia kelola, lalu ia mengirimkan kepadaku sebagian dari jeraminya?" Beliau bersabda: "Jangan kamu mengambil sesuatu pun darinya. Jangan pula jerami." Saya berkata, "Sesungguhnya saya tidak mensyaratkannya. Akan tetapi ia hanya menghadiahkan kepadaku." Hadits ke-40. حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ وَالْخُزَاعِيُّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ زَرَعَ فِي أَرْضِ قَوْمٍ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِهِمْ فَلَيْسَ لَهُ مِنْ الزَّرْعِ شَيْءٌ وَتُرَدُّ عَلَيْهِ نَفَقَتُهُ قَالَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ مَا أَنْفَقَهُ وَلَيْسَ لَهُ مِنْ الزَّرْعِ شَيْءٌ.
