Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing God willing God bless you God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَقَاتِلُوا قَالُوا نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلَا نَقُولُ God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind love فَقَاتِلَا وَإِنَّا مَعَكُمَا نُقَاتِلُ. Has told us [Hisyam bin Sa'id] Has told us [Hasan bin Ayyub Al Hadlrami] has told me [Abdullah bin Nasij Al Hadlrami] - he once met Abu Bakr and Umar Radiallahu 'Anhuma and people other than the two of them - from Utbah bin Abdu As Sulami, that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said to his companions: "Stand up and fight!" the companions answered, "We are ready, O Messenger of Allah. We will not say as Banu Isara'il said to Musa, '(Go with your Lord, and fight, both of you, indeed we are just sitting here waiting)' (Qs. Al Maidah: 34). However, (we will say) go with your Lord, O Muhammad, and fight, indeed we are with you to fight." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 2nd hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. نَاسِجٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ عَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ عَبْدٍ God willing وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ قُومُوا فَقَاتِلُوا قَالَ فَرُمِيَ رَجُلٌ بِسَهْمٍ قَالَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَِ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْجَبَ هَذَا. Has told us [Hisyam bin Sa'id] Has told us [Al Hasan bin Ayyub Al Hadlrami] he said, Has told us [Abdullah bin Nasij Al Hadlrami] from [Utbah bin Abdu As Sulami], that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said to his companions: "Stand up and fight!" Abdullah said, "Then one of the men was hit by an arrow. Abdullah said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam also said: "It is obligatory for this person (to enter heaven)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 3rd Hadith. God willing God willing عَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ عَبْدٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَإِنَِ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing لَا ثُمَّ لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْأَعْجَمِيِّينَ وَقَالَ رََُولُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا مَرُّوا بِكُمْ يَسُوقُونَ نِسَاءَهُمْ يَحْمِلُونَ أَبْنَاَهُمْ عَلَى عَوَاتِقِهِمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُمْ. Has told us [Haiwah bin Syuraih] has told me [Baqiyyah] has told me [Bahir bin Sa'id] from [Khalid bin Ma'dan] from [Utbah bin Abd] that he said, "A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, curse the people of Yemen, because they are strong and their numbers are many and their fortifications are strong." So he said: "No." Then the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam actually cursed Al A'jamiyyin. And Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If there are people who pass by you leading their wives and carrying their children on their shoulders, then they are from me and I am also part of them." 4th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. مِنْ يَوْمِ وُلِدَ إِلَى يَوْمِ يَمُوتُ هَرَمًا فِي مَرْضَاةِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَحَقَّرَهُ يَوْمَ God. Has told us [Haiwah bin Syuraih] Has told us [Baqiyyah] has told me [Bahir bin Sa'd] from [Khalid bin Ma'dan] from [Utbah bin Abd] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Suppose a man is dragged on his face from the day he is born until he dies in his old age, while he is in the pleasure of Allah 'azza wajalla, surely on the Day of Resurrection he will underestimate this misery." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 5th Hadith. Allah's blessings يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ حَدَّثَنَا ثَوْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرَةَ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing يَمُوتَ هَرَمًا فِي طَاعَةِ اللَّهِ لَحَقَّرَهُ ذَلِكَ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind يَزْدَادَ مِنْ الْأَجْرِ وَالثَّوَابِ. Has told us [Ali bin Ishaq] Has told us [Abdullah] -namely Ibnul Mubarak- Has told us [Tsaur bin Yazid] from [Khalid bin Ma'dan] and [Jubair bin Nufair] from [Muhammad bin Abu Umairah] he was one of the companions of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "If a servant falls on his face from the day he is born until If he dies in his old age in obedience to Allah, he will certainly consider the misery of that day to be trivial (compared to the torment of the afterlife). And he really wants to be returned to this world because of the increase in rewards and goodness." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 6th Hadith. God bless you ابْنَ سَعْدٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنّ God willing قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَِ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing God willing مَاذَا نَعْمَلُ قَالَ عَلَى مَوَاقِعِ الْقَدَرِ. Has told us [Al Hasan bin Sawwar] Has told us [Laits] -namely Ibn Sa'd- from [Mu'awiyah] from [Rasyid bin Sa'd] from [Abdurrahman bin Qatadah As Sulami] that he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Allah 'azza wajalla created Adam, after that He created man from Adam's spine and then said, 'They will be in Heaven and I don't care about it. Then that one is in hell and I don't care about it." Then a man asked, "O Messenger of Allah, then on what basis do we do good deeds?" He said: "On the basis of destiny." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 7th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ قَالَ سُفانُ وَجَابِرٍ عَنْ عَامِرٍ عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ خَنْبَشٍ God willing قَالَ عُمْرَةٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ تَعْدِلُ حَجَّةً. Has told us [Waki'] he said, has said [Sufyan] from [Bayan] and [Jabir] from [Amir] from [Wahb bin Khanbasy Ath Tha`i] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "The Umrah worship in the month of Ramadlan is equal to the Hajj." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 8th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you فَلَا تَقْدَمُوا عَلَيْهِ. It has been told to us ['Affan] It has been told to us [Hammad bin Salamah] he said, it has been told to us [Ikrimah bin Khalid Al Makhzumi] from [his father] or his uncle from his grandfather, that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said during the battle of Tabuk: "If the disease of Tha'un strikes a land while you are in it, then do not leave it. And if the disease befalls a land while you do not live in it, then do not come to it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 9th Hadith. God willing لَيْثٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. لَيْثٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِخَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ or God willing God willing وَبَرَةً مِنْ كَاهِلِ نَاقَتِهِ فَقَالَ وَلِي هَذِهِ أَوْ مَا يَزِنُ هَذِهِ. Has told us [Abdurrazaq] has told us [Sufyan] from [Laits] from [Syahr bin Hausyab] he said, has told me [someone] who heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. And from [Ibn Abu Laila] that he heard [Amru bin Kharijah] -Laits mentioned in his hadith-, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam on his camel preached in front of us, he said: "Know that indeed alms are not halal for me and for the members of my temple." Then he took a hair from his camel's shoulder and said: "Even if it is worth this feather, or as heavy as this feather." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 10th Hadith. God willing God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَصِيَّةَ لِوَارِثٍ. Still going through the same transmission route as the previous hadith from [Amru bin Kharijah]; "Allah curses the person who relies on someone other than his father, or (for a slave) to a master who is not his master. The child is for the husband, while for an adulterer it is a stone (stoning law). Verily, Allah gives everyone what is his right. And there is no will for heirs." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 11th Hadith. God bless you وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ شَهْرَ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing رَاحِلَتِهَ God bless you God willing God bless you ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ رَغْبَةً عَنْهُمْ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَقَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ love وَلَا عَدْلٌ أَوْ عَدْلٌ وَلَا صَرْفٌ قَالَ أَبِي قَالَ يَزِيدُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَلَا عَدْلٌ إِنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ خَارِجَةَ God willing وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَهُمْ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] Has told us [Sa'id] and [Yazid bin Harun] he said, has told us [Sa'id] from [Qatadah] from [Syahr bin Hausyab] from [Abdurrahman bin Ghanm] from [Amru bin Kharijah] he said, "In Mina Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam once preached to us, while he was on his vehicle which was chewing food and saliva dripping between my shoulders. He said: "Indeed, Allah has assigned to each person his share of the inheritance. Therefore, wills are not permitted for heirs. Children belong to the husband, while for an adulterer they are stones (stoning law). Whoever ascribes himself to someone other than his father or a slave ascribes himself to a master who is not his master because of hatred, then for them it is a curse from Allah, the angels and all mankind." [Ibn Ja'far] said, [Yazid] said, [Mathar] said, "And no more sunnah practices will be accepted from him and neither will his obligatory actions. or his obligatory deeds and not his sunnah deeds." My father said, Yazid mentioned in his hadith, "Nor are his obligatory deeds accepted." Amru bin Kharijah had told them that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam preached to them while he was in his vehicle." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 12th Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing قَالَكُنْتُ آخِذًا بِزِمَامِ نَاقَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وَلُعَابُهَا يَسِيلُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَعْطَّ لِوَارِثٍ وَصِيَّةٌ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَقَالَ عَفَّانُ وَزَادَ فِيهِ هَمَّامٌ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُذْكَرْ God bless you God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَ وَقَالَ رَغْبَةً عَنْهُمْ. He has told us [Affan] he said, He has told us [Abu Awanah] he said, he has told us [Qatadah] from [Syahr bin Hausyab] from [Abdurrahman bin Ghanm] from [Amru bin Kharijah] he said, "I took the reins of the camel of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam which was chewing food and its saliva was dripping between my two shoulders. He said: "Indeed Allah 'azza wajalla has given everyone what is their right. And there is no will for the haris expert, the child is for the husband, whereas for an adulterer it is a stone (punishment by stoning). Whoever ascribes himself to someone other than his father, or (a slave) ascribes himself to someone who is not his master, will be cursed by Allah, the angels and all mankind." [Affan] said, "In the hadith [Hammam] added this sanad, but it is not stated that Abdurrahman bin Ghanm said, "And I was under the neck of his vehicle (the camel belonging to the Messenger of Allah)." And he also added in it, "No sunnah or obligatory practice will be accepted from him." Then in the Hammam hadith it is stated that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam gave a sermon. And he said, "Because he hates them." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 13th Hadith. God willing شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless him يَسِيلُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ Allah's blessings وَالْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ وَمَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مَوَالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ َّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ. Having told us [Affan] Having told us [Hammad] from [Qatadah] from [Syahr bin Hausyab] from [Abdurrahman bin Ghanm] from [Amru bin Kharijah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam preached on his camel, while I was under the camel's neck. The camel was chewing food and its saliva dripped between my shoulders. He said: "Indeed, Allah 'azza wajalla has given everyone what is his right. And there is no will for heirs, children are the right of the husband, whereas for an adulterer they are stones (stoning punishment). And whoever ascribes himself to someone other than his father or (a slave) ascribes himself to someone other than his master, he will find Allah, the angels and all mankind. Allah will not accept sunnah deeds nor obligatory deeds, nor sunnah deeds nor obligatory deeds." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 14th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فِي دَمِهِ وَاضْرِبْ بِهِ عَلَى صَفْحَتِهِ أَوْ قَالَ عَلَى God willing رُفْقَتِكَ. Has told us [Husain bin Muhammad] Has told us [Sharik] from [Laits] from [Syahr bin Hausyab] from [Amru bin Kharijah Ats Tsumali] he said, "I asked the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam about the dying Hadyu (sacrificial animal). The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam answered: "Slaughter it and throw the sole of its foot in the blood, then mark (with the sole of the foot) on the part beside him. Or he said: "On the side, and do not you and your family eat its flesh." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 15th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing لَيْثٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَمْرٍو الثُّمَّ قَالَبَعَثَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعِي هَدْيًا وَقَالَ إِذَا عَطِبَ شَيْءٌ مِنْهَا فَانْحَرْهُ God willing God willing وَخَلِّ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ النَّاسِ. Has told us [Abu Aswad bin Amir] Has told us [Syarik] from [Laits] from [Syahr bin Hausyab] from [Amru bin Ats Tsumali] he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam entrusted the sacrificial animal to me while saying: "If he is almost dead (dying) then slaughter him and throw the soles of his feet in the blood, then mark (with the soles of the feet) on the sides. And do not you and your family eat its meat. Then leave the meat among the people, so that they may eat it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 16th Hadith. God bless you God bless you عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ خَارِجَةَ الْخُشَنِيَِ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَهُمْ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ وَإِنَّ رَاحِلَتَهُ لَتَقْصَعُ بِجِرَّتِهَا وَإِنَّ لُعَابَهَا لَيَسِيلُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ God bless you God willing لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ أَلَا وَمَنْ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ تَم فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَِ God bless you أَوْ عَدْلًا وَلَا صَرْفًا. It has been told to us that [Yazid bin Harun] has told us [Sa'id] - namely Ibn Abu Arubah - from [Qatadah] from [Syahr bin Hausyab] from [Abdurrahman bin Ghanm] that [Amru bin Kharijah Al Khusyani] told them that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam preached to them while he was on his camel. At that time his camel was chewing food and its saliva dripped down between my shoulders. He said: "Indeed, Allah 'azza wajalla has determined each person's share in the inheritance. Children are the husband's right, whereas for an adulterer they are stones (stoning punishment). Whoever ascribes himself to someone other than his father or (a slave) ascribes himself to someone other than his master, he will be cursed by Allah, the angels and all humans. Allah will not accept his sunnah deeds and neither his obligatory deeds, nor his sunnah deeds nor his obligatory deeds." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 17th Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace God willing قَالَخَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ love God willing سِيلُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَدْ قَسَمَ لِكُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ نَصِيبَهُ مِنْ الْمِيرَاثِ وَلَا God bless you لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ أَلَا وَمَنْ ادَّعَى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَقَالَ سَعِيدٌ وَحَدَّثَنَا مَطَرٌ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِهِ وَزَادَ مَطَرٌ فِي الْحَدِيثِ وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ God willing مَطَرٌ وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ. He told us [Abdul Wahb Al Khaffaf] he said, he told us [Sa'id] from [Qatadah] from [Syahr bin Hausyab] from [Abdurrahman bin Ghanm] from [Amru bin Kharijah] he said, "In Mina Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam once preached in front of us on his camel. At that time I was still under the neck of his camel which was chewing food until the saliva dripped between my shoulders. He said: "Indeed, Allah 'azza wajalla has determined each person's share in the inheritance. Therefore, the will is not permitted for the heirs. Children are the husband's right, while for an adulterer they are stones (stoning punishment). Whoever ascribes himself to someone other than his father or (a slave) ascribes himself to someone other than his master, he will be cursed by Allah, the angels and all mankind. Allah will not accept sunnah deeds and neither obligatory deeds, nor sunnah deeds nor obligatory deeds." Sa'id said; He has related to us [Mathar] from [Syahr bin Hausyab] from [Abdurrahman bin Ghanm] from [Amru bin Kharijah] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, like that hadith. And [Mathar] added in that hadith, "And neither will sunnah deeds be accepted nor obligatory practice." Has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] Has told us [Sa'id] ... then he mentioned the hadith." Sa'id said; Mathar said, "And sunnah practices or obligatory practices will not be accepted." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 18th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَدَعَاهُ فَأَجَابَهُ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ مِنْ طَعَامِهَ God bless you فِيمَا رَزَقْتَهُمْ. Has told us [Husyaim] has told us [Hisyam bin Yusuf] he said, I heard [Abdullah bin Busr] tell that his father once made food for the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. Then he invited him, and he fulfilled the invitation. After he ate, he prayed: "ALLAHUMMAGHFIR LAHUM, WARHAMHUM, WA BAARIK LAHUM FIIMAA RAZAQTAHUM (O Allah, forgive them, love them and give blessings to the sustenance that You have given them)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 19th hadith. God willing صَالِحٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing. Has told us [Zaid bin Al Hubab] Has told us [Mu'awiyah bin Salih] he said, has told me [Abu Az Zahiriyyah] from [Abdullah bin Busr], that a man came to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam who was giving a sermon in front of people on Friday. He then said: "Sit down. Indeed, you have made people difficult and reduced the perfection of their prayers." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 20th hadith. God willing صَالِحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَأَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَدَّمَتْ إِلَيْهِ جَدَّتِي تَمْرًا يُقَلِّلُهُ love God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing. Has told us [Hammad bin Khalid] from [Mu'awiyah bin Salih] from [Ibnu Abdullah bin Busr] from [his father] he said, "We went to Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. Then my grandmother served him dates and he reduced them. Then my grandmother cooked food for him and we also served drinks to the other companions until the water in the kettle ran out. I also came with another kettle (which contained water). I was a servant at that time. So Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Give the kettle to the person who had the last turn." 21st Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. Has told us [Isham bin Khalid] Has told us [Al Hasan bin Ayyub Al Hadlrami] he said, has told me [Abdullah bin Busr] he said, "My sister sent me to bring something to offer to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, so he received it from me." God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَجَاءَ مَعِي فَلَمَّا دَنَوْتُ مِنْ الْمَنْزِلِ أَسْرَعْتُ God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings لَهُ قَطِيفَةً كَانَتْ عِنْدَنَا زِئْبِرِيَّةً فَقَعَدَ God willing God bless you God willing God bless you God bless you فَأَكَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَكَلْنَا مَعَهُ وَفَضَلَ مِنْهَا فَضْلَةٌ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهْ اغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ وَبَارِكْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَوَسِّعْ عَلَيْهِمْ فِي أَرْزَاقِهِمْ. Has told us [Abul Mughirah] Has told us [Shafwan bin Amru] he said, has told me [Abdullah bin Busr Al Mazini] he said, "My father sent me to Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam to invite him to eat. He then came with me, when I almost arrived home I rushed to tell my parents. Both of them then went out and met Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, we then prepared spread out a mat made of sheepskin, then he sat on it. Then my father said to my mother, "Bring your food." So he came with a large bowl filled with flour mixed with water and salt. Take it from around it and leave the top. Because indeed there is blessings all around him." Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam then ate and we ate with him, he then left a little of the food. After that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam prayed: "ALLAHUMMAGHFIR LAHUM, WARHAMHUM, WA BAARIK LAHUM FIIMAA RAZAQTAHUM (O Allah, forgive them, have mercy on them, and give blessings to them and expand them. sustenance upon them." Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 23rd Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you God bless you God bless you يَا مُحَمَّدُ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ طَالَ عُمْرُهُ وَحَسُنَ عَمَلُهُ وَقَالَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَبَابٌ نَتَمَسَّكُ بِهِ جَامِعٌ قَالَ لَا يَزَالُ لِسَانُكَ رَطْبًا مِنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ. Has told us [Ali bin Ayyasy] Has told us [Hasan bin Nuh] from [Amru bin Qais] from [Abdullah bin Busr] he said, "Two village Arabs came to see the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. Then one of them asked, "Who is the best man, O Muhammad?" The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam answered: "The one who lives long and has good deeds." Then the other man said, "We have received a lot of teaching about Islamic law, so teach us one door that gathers all the goodness that we can use as a guide." He said: "Your tongue should always be wet with the remembrance of Allah." 24th Hadith. God willing God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you وَسَلَّمَ أَشَيْخًا كَانَ قَالَ كَانَ فِي عَنْفَقَتِهِ شَعَرَاتٌ بِيضٌ. Has told us [Abul Mughirah] Has told us [Hariz] he said, I asked [Abdullah bin Busr] one of the companions of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. I asked, "Did you see that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was old?" he answered: "On his lips there are some hairs that have turned white." (Degree: authentic. God willing God bless you God willing God willing God bless you فَقَامَ فَأَخَذَ بِلِجَامِ دَابَّتِهِ فَقَالَ ادْعُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِي فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ بَمَْ رَزَقْتَهُمْ وَاغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ. It has been told to us ['Affan] It has been told to us [Syu'bah] from [Yazid bin Khumair] from [Abdullah bin Busr] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam came to see my father and he stopped (at his house), or my father said to him, "Stay at my place." Then my father served him some food, haisah and sawiq, then he ate it. Then he ate the dates and threw away the seeds dates from inside his mouth using two fingers, the middle finger and the index finger. My father then served him a drink, and he drank it. After that he gave the drink to the person on his right. He then got up from his seat, then my father took the camel's bridle and said, "Pray to Allah 'azza wajalla for me." RAZAQTAHUM, WAGHFIR LAHUM, WARHAMHUM (O Allah, bless the sustenance that You have bestowed upon them, forgive and love them)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 26th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. قَالَنَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing فَأَتَاهُ بِطَعَامٍ أَوْ بِحَيْسٍ قَالَ فَأَكَلَ ثُمَّ أَتَاهُ God willing يَمِينِهِ قَالَ وَكَانَ إِذَا أَكَلَ أَلْقَى النَّوَاةَ وَصَفَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَالْوُسْطَى ثُمَّ رَمَى بِهَا فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبِي يَا رَسُولَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings رَزَقْتَهُمْ وَاغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ. Has told us [Bahz] Has told us [Syu'bah] has told me [Yazid bin Khumair] he said, I heard [Abdullah bin Busr] say, "The Messenger of Allah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam stopped at my father's place. Or my father said to the Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, "Stop at my place." So he stopped. My father then served hais, he ate it. After My father brought him a drink, and he drank it. Then he gave the rest of the drink to the person on his right. Abdullah bin Busr said, "When he eats dates, he throws away the seeds by pinching them with his two fingers. namely the index finger and middle finger, then throw them away. My father then said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, pray for us." So he prayed: "ALLAHUMMA BAARIK LAHUM FIIMAA RAZAQTAHUM, WAGHFIR LAHUM, WARHAMHUM (O Allah, bless the good fortune that You have given them, forgive and love them)." (Degree: authentic. Allah's blessings يُونُسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَابِرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind فَقُلْتُ يَرْحَمُكُمَا اللَّهُ الرَّجُلُ مِنَّا يَرْكَبُ Allah's blessings God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing نَادَتْ مِنْ جَوْفِ الْبَيْتِ أَيُّهَا السَّائِلُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ{ وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ فِي الْأَرْضْ God willing }فَقَالَا هَذِهِ أُخْتُنَا وَهِيَ أَكْبَرُ مِنَّا وَقَدْ أَدْرَكَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. Having told us [Ali bin Bahr] he said, Having told us [Isa bin Yunus] he said, Having told us [Abdurrahman bin Yazid] - namely Ibn Jabir - of [Ubaidullah bin Ziyad] from [Busr As Salmayaini's two sons], Ubaidullah said, "I went in to meet the two of them and said, "May Allah have mercy on you both. One of our men got into his vehicle and he hit him with a whip and pulled his reins. Have you two ever heard from the Messenger of Allah, sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, that there is a sin in this matter?" They both answered, "No, we have never heard from him that such a thing is a sin." Suddenly a woman answered from inside the house, "O people who ask! Indeed, Allah 'azza wajalla has said: '(And there are no animals on the earth or birds that fly with both wings, but people (also) like you, we have forgotten nothing in the Book.' Has told us [Yunus bin Muhammad] Has told us [Laits] -namely Ibn Sa'd- from [Yazid] -namely Ibn Abu Habib- that he heard [Abdullah bin Harith Az Zubaidi] say, "I was the first to hear the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: 'None of you should urinate facing the Qibla.' Has told us [Hasan bin Musa] Has told us [Ibn Lahi'ah] Has told us [Sulaiman bin Ziyad] from [Abdullah bin Harith bin Juz` Az Zubaidi] he said, "We ate meat with the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam in the mosque, then the prayer iqamah was said, so we put our hands in the sand and then stood up to pray without making ablution again." Has told us [Hasan] Has told us [Ibn Lahi'ah] Has told us [Sulaiman bin Ziyad Al Hadlrami] that he heard [Abdullah bin Harith bin Juz` Az Zubaidi] one of the companions of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade one of us to urinate facing the Qibla." God willing God willing وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ قَالَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلَّيْنَا وَلَمْ نَتَوَضَّأْ. Has told us about Harun, Abu Abdurrahman said, I heard from [Harun] he said, Has told us [Abdullah bin Wahb] he said, has informed me [Haiwah bin Syuraih] he said, has informed me [Uqbah bin Muslim] from [Abdullah bin Harith bin Juz` Az Zubaidi] he said, "One day we were at the side of the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam in Shuffah, then food was served to us and we ate it. After that the prayer iqamah was said, so we prayed and did not perform ablution again." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 32nd Hadith. God willing قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حَيْوَةُ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ God willing God willing اللَّهُ عَلَيْهْ وَبُطُونِ الْأَقْدَامِ مِنْ النَّارِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِقَالَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ هَارُونَ. Has told us [Harun] Has told us [Abdullah bin Wahb] he said, has told me [Haiwah] from [Uqbah bin Muslim At Tujibi] he said, I heard [Abdullah bin Harith bin Juz` Az Zubaidi] one of the companions of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said, "The heels and soles of the feet that are not washed with ablution water on the Day of Judgment will go to hell." Abdullah said, "Abdullah bin Harith did not mix up the hadith." Abdullah said again, "I heard it from Harun." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 33rd Hadith. Has told us [Hasan] Has told us [Ibn Lahi'ah] Has told us [Haiwah bin Syuraih] from [Uqbah bin Muslim] he said, I heard [Abdullah bin Harith bin Juz`] say, "I heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Heels and soles of the feet that are not washed with ablution water will go to hell." He told us [Yahya bin Ishaq] he said, He told us [Ibn Lahi'ah] from [Ubaidullah bin Al Mughirah] he said, he told me [Abdullah bin Harith bin Juz` Az Zubaidi] he said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: 'None of you should urinate facing the Qibla.' And I was the first person to tell this hadith to humans." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 35th Hadith. Has told us [Moses] Has told us [Ibn Lahi'ah] from [Khalid bin Abi Imran] and [Sulaiman bin Ziyad Al Hadlrami] from [Abdullah bin Harith bin Juz` Az Zubaidi] he said, "We ate meat with the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam in the mosque, then the Iqamah prayer was said, so we rubbed our hands in the sand and prayed without ablution again." God willing God willing God willing بْنِ جَزْءٍ الزُّبَيْدِيَِ God bless you فَجَعَلُوهَا مَخَارِيقَ يَجْتَلِدُونَ بِهَا وَهُمْ or قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فَلَمَّا مَرَرْنَا بِهِمْ قَالُوا إِنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ قِسِّيسُونَ فَدَعُوهُمْ ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ عَلَيْهِما God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you God willing God willing لَهُمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فَبِلَأْيٍ مَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مِنْ هَارُونَ. Has told us [Harun] Has told us [Abdullah bin Wahb] Has told us [Amru] that [Sulaiman bin Ziyad Al Hadlrami] told him, that [Abdullah bin Harith bin Juz` Az Zubaidi] told him, that he and a friend once passed Aiman and a group of Quraysh who took off the cloth covering their bodies, then used the cloth as a tool for beating, while they were naked. Abdullah said, "When we passed them, the people said, "Indeed they are priests, so leave them." Then Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam came out to meet them, when they saw him, they scattered and scattered. After that, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam returned and entered the house feeling angry, while I was at the back of the house. Then I heard him say: "Glory be to Allah! Towards Allah they do not feel ashamed, and to His Messenger they do not wear satyrs." Then Umm Aiman who was by his side said, "Ask forgiveness for them, O Messenger of Allah." Abdullah said, "After hardship and hardship, I will not ask for forgiveness for them." Abdullah said, "And I heard it from Harun." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 37th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ وَحَسَنا God bless you حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ قَِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَِ God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God bless you God willing تَلْسَعُ إِحْدَاهُنَِ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً. Has told us [Musa bin Dawud] and [Hasan bin Musa] both said, Has told us [Ibn Lahi'ah], and [Hasan bin Musa] said, has told us [Ibn Lahi'ah] from [Darraj]. [Moses] mentioned in his hadith, he said; I heard [Abdullah bin Harith bin Juz` Az Zubaidi] he say, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed in Hell there are several snakes that resemble the necks of Bukhtu (camels with long necks). If the snake pecks, the peck mark will remain for up to forty autumns. And in hell there are also scorpions that are as big as Bighal and their reins. Hadits ke-38. حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَدِيُّ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي رَجَاءُ بْنُ حَيْوَةَ وَالْعُرْسُ ابْنُ عَمِيرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَدِيٍّ قَالَخَاصَمَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ كِنْدَةَ يُقَالُ لَهُ امْرُؤُ الْقَيْسِ بْنُ عَابِسٍ رَجُلًا مِنْ حَضَرَمَوْتَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي أَرْضٍ فَقَضَى عَلَى الْحَضْرَمِيِّ بِالْبَيِّنَةِ فَلَمْ تَكُنْ لَهُ بَيِّنَةٌ فَقَضَى عَلَى امْرِئِ الْقَيْسِ بِالْيَمِينِ فَقَالَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ إِنْ أَمْكَنْتَهُ مِنْ الْيَمِينِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ذَهَبَتْ وَاللَّهِ أَوْ وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ أَرْضِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ كَاذِبَةٍ لِيَقْتَطِعَ بِهَا مَالَ أَخِيهِ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ قَالَ رَجَاءُ وَتَلَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ{ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا }فَقَالَ امْرُؤُ الْقَيْسِ مَاذَا لِمَنْ تَرَكَهَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ الْجَنَّةُ قَالَ فَاشْهَدْ أَنِّي قَدْ تَرَكْتُهَا لَهُ كُلَّهَا. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin Sa'id] dari [Jarir bin Hazim] ia berkata, Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Adi bin Adi] ia berkata, telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Raja` bin Haiwah] dan [Al Urs bin Amirah] dari bapaknya [Adi] ia berkata, "Seorang laki-laki dari Kindah yang biasa dipanggil Umru`ul Qais bin Abis bersengketa dengan seorang laki-laki dari Hadhramut, mereka mengadukan kepada Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam prihal tanah. Maka beliau memberi putusan kepada Al Hadlrami agar ia menunjukkan bukti, namun ia tidak dapat menunjukkan bukti apapun. Kemudian Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam memberi putusan kepada Al Qais agar ia bersumpah. Al Hadlrami pun berkata, "Jika tuan memberi keluasan baginya untuk bersumpah, niscaya tanah itu akan menjadi miliknya. Demi Allah, atau demi Rabb-nya Ka'bah, tanah itu adalah milikku." Maka Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Barangsiapa bersumpah dengan sumpah palsu untuk mengambil harta saudaranya, maka ia akan menemui Allah, sedang Allah dalam keadaan murka atasnya." Raja` berkata, "Lalu Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam membacakan ayat: '(Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang menukar janji (nya dengan) Allah dan sumpah-sumpah mereka dengan harga yang sedikit,..) ' (Qs. Ali Imran: 77). Maka Umru`ul Qais berkata, "Wahai Rasulullah, lalu apa balasan bagi orang yang meninggalkannya?" beliau menjawab: "Baginya surga." Ia berkata, "Saksikanlah, saya telah meninggalkannya (menyerahkan tanah itu) semua untuknya." (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-39. مَرَّتَيْنِ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسٌ عَنْ عَدِيِّ ابْنِ عَمِيرَةَ الْكِنْدِيِّ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ مَنْ عَمِلَ مِنْكُمْ لَنَا عَلَى عَمَلٍ فَكَتَمَنَا مِنْهُ مَخِيطًا فَمَا فَوْقَهُ فَهُوَ غُلٌّ يَأْتِي بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ أَسْوَدُ قَالَ مُجَالِدٌ هُوَ سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ اقْبَلْ عَنِّي عَمَلَكَ فَقَالَ وَمَا ذَاكَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُكَ تَقُولُ كَذَا وَكَذَا قَالَ وَأَنَا أَقُولُ ذَلِكَ الْآنَ مَنْ اسْتَعْمَلْنَاهُ عَلَى عَمَلٍ فَلْيَجِئْ بِقَلِيلِهِ وَكَثِيرِهِ فَمَا أُوتِيَ مِنْهُ أَخَذَهُ وَمَا نُهِيَ عَنْه انْتَهَىحَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ قَيْسٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَدِيُّ ابْنُ عَمِيرَةَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ عَدِيِّ ابْنِ عَمِيرَةَ الْكِنْدِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ اسْتَعْمَلْنَاهُ عَلَى عَمَلٍ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ. (dua kali) Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin Sa'id] dari [Isma'il bin Abu Khalid] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepadaku [Qais] dari [Adi bin Amirah Al Kindi] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Wahai sekalian manusia, siapa di antara kalian yang bekerja untuk kami, lalu ia menyembunyikan sesuatu darinya meskipun hanya benang jahit atau lebih rendah dari itu, maka hal itu adalah pengkhiatan yang akan dibawanya kelak pada hari kiamat." Adi bin Amirah Al Kindi berkata, "Seorang laki-laki hitam dari kalangan Anshar kemudian berdiri, Mujalid berkata, 'Laki-laki itu adalah Sa'd bin Ubadah, ' seolah-olah saya melihatnya, ia berkata, "Wahai Rasulullah, saya tidak mau menangani pekerjaanmu." Beliau bertanya: "Kenapa begitu?" laki-laki itu menjawab, "Saya telah mendengarmu berkata begini dan begini." Hadits ke-40. حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَيْفٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَدِيَّ بْنَ عَدِيٍّ الْكِنْدِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَوْلًى لَنَا أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَدِيًّا يَقُولُسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يُعَذِّبُ الْعَامَّةَ بِعَمَلِ الْخَاصَّةِ حَتَّى يَرَوْا الْمُنْكَرَ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَيْهِمْ وَهُمْ قَادِرُونَ عَلَى أَنْ يُنْكِرُوهُ فَلَا يُنْكِرُوهُ فَإِذَا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ عَذَّبَ اللَّهُ الْخَاصَّةَ وَالْعَامَّةَحَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ عَنْ جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَدِيُّ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ عَنْ رَجَاءِ بْنِ حَيْوَةَ وَالْعُرْسِ ابْنِ عَمِيرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَدِيٍّ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ جَرِيرٌ وَزَادَنِي أَيُّوبُ وَكُنَّا جَمِيعًا حِينَ سَمِعْنَا الْحَدِيثَ مِنْ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ قَالَ عَدِيٌّ وَحَدَّثَنَا الْعُرْسُ ابْنُ عَمِيرَةَ فَنَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ{ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا }إِلَى آخِرِهَا وَلَمْ أَحْفَظْهُ أَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ مِنْ عَدِيٍّ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Numair] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Saif] ia berkata, saya mendengar [Adi bin Adi Al Kindi] menceritakan dari [Mujahid] ia berkata, telah menceritakan kepadaku [Budak milik kami] bahwa ia mendengar [Adi] berkata, "Saya mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Sesungguhnya Allah 'azza wajalla tidak mengadzab manusia secara umum hanya karena perbuatan dosa segelintir orang, sehingga mereka melihat kemungkaran dan mereka pun mampu untuk mengingkarinya, namun mereka tidak mengingkarinya. Jika mereka telah melakukan hal itu, maka Allah akan menyiksa segelintir orang itu dan juga manusia secara menyeluruh." Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yazid bin Harun] dari [Jarir bin Hazim] ia berkata, telah menceritakan kepadaku [Adi bin Adi] dari [Raja` bin Haiwah] dan [Al Urs bin Amirah] dari bapaknya [Adi] lalu ia menyebutkan hadits tersebut." [Jarir] berkata, " [Ayyub] menambahkan kepadaku, "Ketika kami semua mendengar hadits itu dari Adi, ia berkata, "Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami Al Ursu bin Amirah; Maka turunlah ayat ini: '(Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang menukar janji (nya dengan) Allah dan sumpah-sumpah mereka dengan harga yang sedikit..)
