Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God bless you عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing يَتَنَاثَرُ عَلَى وَجْهِي أَوْ قَالَ عَلَى حَاجِبَيَّ فَقَالَ God willing فَاحْلِقْهُ وَصُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ أَطْعِمْ سِتَّةَ love God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing الْحَدِيثَ. It has been told to us [Isma'il] It has been told to us [Ayyub] from [Mujahid] from [Abdurrahman bin Abu Laila] from [Ka'ab bin Ujrah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam came to see me while I was lighting a fire under a pot (for cooking), while at that time many lice were scattered on my face, or he said, "on my eyebrows. He then asked: "Did the lice hurt your head?" Ka'ab said, "I answered, "Yes." He said: "Then shave your hair. Then fast three days, or feed six poor people." Ayyub said, "I don't know where he started from." Has told us Affan Has told us Syu'bah has told me Al Hakam he said, I heard Abdurrahman bin Abu Laila he said; Ka'ab bin Ujrah met me...then he mentioned the hadith." (Degree: authentic. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ{ فَفِدْيَةٌ مِنْ صِيَامٍ أَوْ صَدَقَةٍ أَوْ نُسُكٍ }قَالَ فَقَالَ كَعْبٌ نَزَلَتْ فِيَّ كَانَ بِي أَذًى مِنْ رَأْسِي فَحُمِلْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّّ يَتَنَاثَرُ مَا كُنْتُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَنَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ{ فَفِدْيَةٌ مِنْ صِيَامٍ أَوْ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مِسْكِينٍ قَالَ فَنَزَلَتْ فِيَّ خَاصَّةً وَهِيَ لَكُمْ عَامَّةًحَدَّثَنا God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you God willing God willing قَالَ قَعَدْتُ إِلَى كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ فِي هَذَا God willing God willing مِسْكِينٍ نِصْفَ صَاعٍ مِنْ طَعَامٍ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] Has told us [Syu'bah] from [Abdurrahman bin Al Ashbahani] from [Abdullah bin Ma'qil] he said, "I sat with [Ka'ab bin Ujrah] in the mosque, then I asked him about this verse: '(So it is obligatory for him to perform fidyah, namely: fasting or giving alms or making sacrifices...)'. (Qs. Al Baqarah: 196). Ka'ab then explained, "This verse was revealed regarding me. At that time my head was attacked by an illness, so I was taken to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, while lice were all over my face. So he said: "I see that your illness is very serious, but I have no other opinion. Do you have a goat?" I answered, "No." So this verse came down: '(So it is obligatory for him to perform fidyah, namely: fasting or giving alms or making sacrifices)'. He then said: "(Please) fast for three days or give food to six poor people, namely half a sha' for each person." Ka'ab said, "So this verse was revealed regarding me specifically, and is general for you." Has told us [Affan] Has told us [Syu'bah] Has told us [Abdurrahman bin Al Ashbahani] he said, I heard [Abdullah bin Ma'qil] say, "I sat with [Ka'ab] in this mosque...then he mentioned the meaning of the hadith." Has told us [Bahz] Has told us [Syu'bah] Has told us [Abdurrahman bin Al Ashbahani] he said, "I heard [Abdullah bin Ma'qil] say, "I once sat with [Ka'ab bin Ujrah] in this mosque, then I asked him about this verse...then he mentioned the meaning of the hadith." He said: "Feed six poor people. Every poor person is half a sha' of food." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 3rd Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ كَعْبْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فِي بَيْتِهِ ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ لَا يُرِيدُ إِلَّا الصَّلَاةَ God willing يُخَالِفْ أَحَدُكُمْ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِ يَدَيْهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ. It has been reported to us [Hajjaj] has reported to us [Ibn Abu Dzi`b] from [Sa'id Al Maqburi] from [a man from Bani Salim] from his father from his grandfather from [Ka'ab bin Ujrah], that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "It is not a man who purifies himself in his house, then he goes out with no other intention except to pray, except that he will be in the prayer count until he has finished pray. And do not allow any of you to intertwine your fingers in prayer." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 4th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing كَعْبٍأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأْتَ فَأَحْسَنْتَ وُضُوءَكَ ثُمَّ عَمَدْتَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing أَصَابِعِكَ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Bakr] has told us [Ibn Juraij] has told me [Muhammad bin Ajlan] from [Sa'id Al Maqburi] from [some of the Banu Ka'ab bin Ujrah] from [Ka'ab], that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If you perform ablution and complete your ablution, then you intend to go to the mosque then (you will be recorded) as a person pray. So do not intertwine your fingers." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 5th Hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing اللَّهُ عَلَيْهْ وُضُوءَكَ ثُمَّ خَرَجْتَ عَامِدًا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَلَا God willing فَإِنَّكَ فِي صَلَاةٍ. It has been related to us [Quran bin Tammam Abu Tammam Al Asadi] from [Muhammad bin Ajlan] from [Sa'id bin Abu Sa'id] from [Ka'ab bin Ujrah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If you perform ablution and complete your ablution, then you go out to the mosque, then do not interlace your fingers." The Qur'an said, "In my opinion he said: "Because you are in prayer." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 6th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing لَيْلَى عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ قَالَأَتَى عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings الْحُدَيْبِيَِ هَوَامَّ رَأْسِكَ تُؤْذِيكَ فَقُلْتُ أَجَلْ قَالَ فَاحْلِقْهُ God willing بِثَلَاثَةِ آصُعٍ مِنْ تَمْرٍ بَيْنَ سِتَّةِ مَسَاكِينَ. Has told us [Affan] Has told us [Wuhaib] Has told us [Khalid] from [Abu Qilabah] from [Abdurrahman bin Abu Laila] from [Ka'ab bin Ujrah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam came to me at the time of the Hudaibiyah agreement. At that time I had long hair, so he said: "It seems like lice in the hair of your head have injured you." I answered, "That's right." He said then said: "Shave your hair. Then slaughter a goat, or you fast for three days, or give charity three sha' dates to be distributed among six poor people." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 7th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهَ لَا يَزَالُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي قَوْمٌ ظَاهِرِينَ عَلَى النَّاسِ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهُمْ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ وَهُمْ ظَاهِرُونَ. Has told us [Ya'la bin Ubaid Abu Yusuf] Has told us [Isma'il] from [Qais] from [Al Mughirah bin Syu'bah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "There will always be among my people a people who appear to be above the truth among humans until the Day of Resurrection comes, and they will remain above the truth." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 8th Hadith. God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing كُنْتَ صَادِقًا فَأْتِ بِأَحَدٍ يَعْلَمُ ذَلِكَ فَشَهِدَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى بِهِ. Has told us [Abdurrazaq] has told us [Ibn Juraij] has told me [Hisyam] from [Urwah bin Zubair] that he told [Ibnul Mughirah bin Syu'bah] from Umar, that he once asked for the opinion of the companions regarding the law of aborting a woman's fetus. So [Al Mughirah] gave the answer, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam has given a legal decision by giving one ghurrah." So Umar said to him, "If you say the truth, then bring someone who knows the matter." Then [Muhammad bin Maslamah] testified that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam had decided so." God willing God willing God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind وَأَخْبَرْتُهُمَا بِقَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ God bless you love God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing Allah's blessings كَأَنَّهَا أَعْظَمَتْ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ فَنَظَرْتُ إِلَيْهَا فَتَزَوَّجْتُهَا فَذَكَرَ مِنْ مُوَافَقَتِهَا. Having told us [Abdurrazaq] had told us [Sufyan] from [Ashim Al Ahwal] from [Bakr bin Abdullah Al Muzani] from [Al Mughirah bin Syu'bah] he said, "I came to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and told him about a woman who I would propose to marry. So he said: "Go and see that woman, because it will make you more stable." So I went to a woman Ansar and asked for her hand through her parents, and I told them both about what Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam had said (the order to look first), but it seemed that neither of them liked it. So the girl (whom I was going to propose to) heard from inside her room and said, "If it turns out that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam has ordered you to look, then look. But if not, then I will curse you." It seemed like the girl was giving him firmness. Al Mughirah said, "Then I saw her and married her." He then said he would get the consent of the girl's parents." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 10th Hadith. God bless you God bless you أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدَةُ بْنُ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ أَنَِ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you God bless you مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ God willing مُعَاوِيَةَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَأْمُرُ النَّاسَ God. Has told us [Abdurrazaq] and [Ibn Bakr] both said, has told us [Ibn Juraij] and Has told us [Rauh] Has told us [Ibn Juraij] has told me [Abdah bin Abu Lubabah] that [Warrad] the slave of Al Mughirah bin Syu'bah informed him, that [Al Mughirah bin Syu'bah] had written to Mu'awiyah, but who wrote the letter for Mu'awiyah it was Warrad, "I have heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam pray after the greeting: 'LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH WAHDAHU LAA SYARIIKA LAHU LAHUL MULKU WA LAHUL HAMDU, ALLAHUMMA LAA MAANI'A LIMAA A'THAITA WALAA MU'THIYA LIMAA MANA'TA WALAA YANFA'U DZAL JADDI MINKAL JADDU (There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, the Almighty, there is no partner for Him. To Him is all praise and kingdom. He is Almighty over all things. O Allah, no one can prevent what You have given, and no one can give what You have prevented. Wealth and glory are useless compared to You)." Warrad said, "After that I was sent to meet Mu'awiyah, then I heard him say on the pulpit ordering people to practice the reading and teach it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 11th Hadith. God bless you God willing قَالَمَاتَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ يُقَالُ لَهُ قَرَظَةُ بْنُ كَعْبٍ فَنِيحَ عَلَيْهِ فَخَرَجَ الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ فَصَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَم قَالَ مَا بَالُ النَّوْحِ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ أَمَا إِنِّي God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you God willing مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ. Has told us [Qurran bin Tamam] from [Sa'id bin Ubaid Ath Tha`i] from [Ali bin Rabi'ah Al Asadi] he said, "An Ansar man named Qarazhah bin Ka'ab died and the people mourned him. So [Al Mughirah bin Syu'bah] came out and immediately climbed the pulpit. He then praised Allah and read His praises. Then he said, "Is there any in Islam? lamentation (for the deceased)? Indeed, I have heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Indeed, lying to me is not the same as lying to someone other than me. You know, whoever deliberately lies in my name, let him prepare his seat in hell." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 12th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَا أَنْزِعُ خُفَّيْكَ قَالَ لَا إِنِّي أَدْخَلْتُهُمَا وَهُمَا طَاهِرَتَانِ ثُمَّ لَمْ أَمْشِ حَافِيًا بَعْدُ ثُمَّ صَلَّى صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ. Has told us [Abdah bin Sulaiman Abu Muhammad Al Kilabi] Has told us [Mujalid] from [Sya'bi] from [Al Mughirah bin Syu'bah] he said, "I gave ablution water to Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam on a journey. Then he washed his face and both hands (from elbows to fingertips), then he washed his head and also washed his two shoes. Then I said, "O Rasulullah, take off both your shoes." He answered: "No. In fact, I put both of them in a pure state, after that I have not walked without shoes." After that he performed the morning prayer." (Degree: authentic. God bless you God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ تَجَلَّتْ فَسَجَدَ ثُمَّ قَامَ قَدْرَ مَا يَقْرَأُ سُورَةً ثُمَّ رَكَعَ وَسَجَدَ ثُمَّ God willing كَسَفَتْ يَوْمَ تُوُفِّيَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ابْنُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وَالْقَمَرَ لَا يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَإِنَّمَا هُمَا آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَإِذَا God willing God willing God willing بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِنَّهُ مَدَّ يَََهُ يَتَنَاوَلَ God willing love Allah's blessings God willing God willing عَنْ عَامِرٍ مِثْلَهُ. Has told us [Abdul Mu'tal bin Abdul Wahab] Has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id Al Umawi] Has told us [Al Mujalid] from [Amir] he said, "Just at the time there was a solar eclipse until the darkness became thicker. Then [Al Mughirah bin Syu'bah] got up and prayed with the muslimin people. Syu'bah stood during the reading of Al Matsani's letter (a letter whose reading is always repeated during the prayer), then he bowed for the same time, then raised his head, then bowed again as before, then raised his head and stood up like the first bow. Then he did the second bow like the first bow. At that moment, the sun appeared. Then he bowed down, then stood up while reading one letter, then bowed again and prostrated himself. After that, he went up to the pulpit and said, "There was a solar eclipse on the day he died. Ibrahim, son of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. So the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam stood up and said: 'Indeed, an eclipse of the sun and moon does not occur because of someone's death. However, both are two verses from the verses of Allah 'azza wajalla. If an eclipse occurs in one of the two, then hurry to perform the prayer.'" Then Syu'bah came down from the pulpit, and he told that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam once prayed, then he blew on his hands, then stretched his hands again as if he was taking something. After the prayer he said: "Indeed, hell has been brought closer to me until I tried to blow its hot air from my face. And in that hell, I saw the owner of the stick whose head was crooked and the person who split the ears of the camel, then Shahibatul Himyar, the owner of the cat." He told us [Sa'id bin Sa'id Al Amawi] he said, he told me [my father] told us [Al Mujalid] about [Amir] for example." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 14th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْهُذَلِيَّتَيْنِ أَنَّ الْعَقْلَ عَلَى الْعَصَبَةَ God. Has told me [Abu An Nadlr Al Harith bin Nu'man] from [Syaiban] from [Jabir] from [Amir] from [Al Mughirah bin Syu'bah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam has given a verdict for two people from the Hudzail tribe, that the ransom must be paid by the Ashabah, the payment for inheritance is only distributed to the heirs, and in (murder of) the fetus the fine is paid Ghurrah." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 15th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ وَقَدْ كُنْتُ حَفِظْتُ مِنْ كَثِيرٍ مِنْ عُلَمَائِنَا بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَنَِ يَرْوِي عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا أَنَّهُ God bless you وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ غَسَّلَ مَيِّتًا فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ. Has told us [Ya'qub] Has told us [My Father] from [Ibn Ishaq] he said; I have memorized from [many of our scholars in Medina], that [Muhammad bin Amru bin Hazm] narrated from [Al Mughirah] several hadiths. Among them was that he had told him that he had heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Whoever bathes a dead body, let him bathe." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 16th Hadith. God willing God willing قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهَ God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَعُقُوقَ الْأُمَّهَاتِ وَمَنَعَ وَهَاتِ. Has told us [Husain] Has told us [Syaiban] from [Mansur] from [Ash Sya'bi] from [Warrad] from [Al Mughirah bin Syu'bah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed, Allah 'azza wajalla hates three things for you." Then he asked about these three things, so he answered: "Asking a lot and wasting wealth, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam has forbidden you to kill female children, disobey mothers, and withhold the rights of others." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 17th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَرَأَى خَيْرًا مِنْهَا فَلْيَأْتِ بِالَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ. It has been told to us [Yahya] from [Syu'bah] has told me [Listen] from [Tamim bin Tharaqah] from [Adi bin Hatim] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Whoever swears and then sees something better than him, then let him prioritize what is better." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 18th Hadith. God bless you قَالَ وَكِيعٌ عَنْ عَامِرٍ وَقَالَ يَحْيَى فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ God willing قَالَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَيْدِ الْمِعْرَاضِ فَقَالَ مَا أَصَبْتَ God bless you وَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ صَيْدِ الْكَلْبِ قَالَ وَكِيعٌ إِذَا God willing وَمَا أَمْسَكَ عَلَيْكَ وَلَمْ يَأْكُلْ فَكُلْهُ فَإِنَّ أَخْذَهُ ذَكَاتُهُ وَإِنْ وَجَدْتَ مَعَ كَلْبِكَ كَلْبًا آخَرَ love God willing كَلْبِكَ وَلَمْ تَذْكُرْهُ عَلَى غَيْرِهِ. Has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] and [Waki'] from [Zakaria], [Waki'] said from [Amir], [Yahya] mentioned in his hadith, he said; told me [Amir] he said, Had told us [Adi bin Hatim] he said, "I asked Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam about game animals that were hit by the blunt part of the spear (not the spearhead). He said: "Animals that are hit by the spearhead then eat them, but when game animals are hit by the blunt part they are like waqidz (animals that are sick and almost dead)." Then I asked about animals that were hunted by dogs." Waki' said, "If you release your dog and mention the name of Allah, then eat it." Then the Messenger of Allah said again: "If the dog catches game for you and does not eat it, then eat it, because hunting is slaughter. If you get another dog with your dog, and you are worried that the dog will hunt with your dog and kill it, then do not eat it. Because you only mention the name of Allah over your dog, not over other dogs." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 19th hadith. God willing God willing رُفَيْعٍ عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings يُطِعْ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ رَشَدَ وَمَنْ يَعْصِهِمَا God bless you وَسَلَّمَ بِئْسَ الْخَطِيبُ أَنْتَ قُلْ وَمَنْ يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ. It has been told to us [Waki'] has told us [Sufyan] from [Abdul Aziz] - namely Ibn Rufai' - from [Tamim bin Tharaqah] from [Adi bin Hatim], that a man preached at the side of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said, "Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, indeed he has been guided. And whoever disobeys both of them has indeed gone astray." So Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The worst of the Khatibs are you. Say, 'And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger.'" Has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Sa'id bin Masruq] he said, Has told us [Ash Sya'bi] he said, I heard [Adi bin Hatim] - we have a neighbor in Nahrain - that he asked the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and said, "I let my dog go, then I found another dog with my dog catching game, but I don't know which of the two is has caught." He said: "Do not eat, because you are reciting the name of Allah to your dog, not a dog other than yours." Hadits ke-26. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُجَالِدٌ عَنْ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ قَالَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَّمَنِي الْإِسْلَامَ وَنَعَتَ لِي الصَّلَاةَ وَكَيْفَ أُصَلِّي كُلَّ صَلَاةٍ لِوَقْتِهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي كَيْفَ أَنْتَ يَا ابْنَ حَاتِمٍ إِذَا رَكِبْتَ مِنْ قُصُورِ الْيَمَنِ لَا تَخَافُ إِلَّا اللَّهَ حَتَّى تَنْزِلَ قُصُورَ الْحِيرَةِ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَأَيْنَ مَقَانِبُ طَيِّئٍ وَرِجَالُهَا قَالَ يَكْفِيكَ اللَّهُ طَيِّئًا وَمَنْ سِوَاهَا قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا قَوْمٌ نَتَصَيَّدُ بِهَذِهِ الْكِلَابِ وَالْبَزَاةِ فَمَا يَحِلُّ لَنَا مِنْهَا قَالَ يَحِلُّ لَكُمْ{ مَا عَلَّمْتُمْ مِنْ الْجَوَارِحِ مُكَلِّبِينَ تُعَلِّمُونَهُنَّ مِمَّا عَلَّمَكُمْ اللَّهُ فَكُلُوا مِمَّا أَمْسَكْنَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ }فَمَا عَلَّمْتَ مِنْ كَلْبٍ أَوْ بَازٍ ثُمَّ أَرْسَلْتَ وَذَكَرْتَ اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ فَكُلْ مِمَّا أَمْسَكَ عَلَيْكَ قُلْتُ وَإِنْ قَتَلَ قَالَ وَإِنْ قَتَلَ وَلَمْ يَأْكُلْ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا فَإِنَّمَا أَمْسَكَهُ عَلَيْكَ قُلْتُ أَفَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ خَالَطَ كِلَابَنَا كِلَابٌ أُخْرَى حِينَ نُرْسِلُهَا قَالَ لَا تَأْكُلْ حَتَّى تَعْلَمَ أَنَّ كَلْبَكَ هُوَ الَّذِي أَمْسَكَ عَلَيْكَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا قَوْمٌ نَرْمِي بِالْمِعْرَاضِ فَمَا يَحِلُّ لَنَا قَالَ لَا تَأْكُلْ مَا أَصَبْتَ بِالْمِعْرَاضِ إِلَّا مَا ذَكَّيْتَ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Numair] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Mujalid] dari [Amir] dari [Adi bin Hatim] ia berkata, "Aku datang kepada Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, lalu beliau mengajariku tentang Islam, menjelaskan sifat shalat dan bagaimana agar aku shalat tepat pada waktunya. Kemudian beliau bertanya kepadaku: "Bagaimana denganmu wahai Ibnu Hatim, jika kamu berkendaraan dari istana Yaman, apakah kamu tidak takut selain kepada Allah hingga kamu sampai di istana Hirah?" aku menjawab, "Wahai Rasulullah, lalu dimanakah posisi tentara suku Thayyi?" beliau bersabda: "Cukuplah Allah sebagai penjagamu dari orang-orang Thayyi dan selainnya." Aku berkata lagi, "Wahai Rasulullah, kami adalah kaum yang suka berburu dengan anjing-anjing ini dan burung ini. Lalu apa yang halal bagi kami dari hasil buruannya?" Beliau menjawab: "Dihalalkan bagimu yang baik-baik dan (buruan yang ditangkap) oleh binatang buas yang Telah kamu ajar dengan melatih nya untuk berburu; kamu mengajarnya menurut apa yang Telah diajarkan Allah kepadamu. Maka makanlah dari apa yang ditangkapnya untukmu, dan sebutlah nama Allah atas binatang buas itu (waktu melepaskannya) '. (Qs. Al Maidah: 4) Maka anjing atau burung buas yang telah kamu latih, kemudian kamu melepasnya dan menyebut nama Allah, maka makanlah hasil buruan yang ditangkapnya untukmu." Aku bertanya, "Kalau ia membunuhnya?" beliau menjawab: "Kalau ia membunuhnya namun tidak memakan secuil pun darinya, maka sesungguhnya ia hanya berburu untukmu." Aku bertanya lagi, "Bagaimanakah menurut anda, jika anjing-anjing kami berbaur dengan anjing-anjing yang lain saat kami melepaskannya?" beliau menjawab: "Jangan kamu makan hingga kamu memastikan bahwa anjing milikmulah yang telah menangkapnya." Aku berkata, "Wahai Rasulullah, kami kadang melempar (buruan) dengan mi'rdl (bagian tombak yang tumpul), lalu mana yang halal bagi kami?" beliau bersabda: "Jangan kamu makan, kecuali buruan yang sempat kamu sembelih." Hadits ke-27. حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْجُوَيْرِيَةِ عَنْ مَعْنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ السُّلَمِيِّ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُبَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا وَأَبِي وَجَدِّي وَخَاصَمْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَأَفْلَجَنِي وَخَطَبَ عَلَيَّ فَأَنْكَحَنِي. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hisyam bin Sa'id] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Abu Awanah] dari [Abu Al Juwairiyah] dari [Ma'n bin Yazid As Sulami] aku mendengarnya berkata, "Aku beserta bapak dan kakekku berbai'at kepada Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, kemudian aku mengadu kepadanya dan beliau pun menolongku, lalu beliau menawarkan untuk menikah (lalu aku menerimanya) hingga beliau pun menikahkanku." Hadits ke-28. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ قَالَتَنَاوَلْتُ قِدْرًا لِأُمِّي فَاحْتَرَقَتْ يَدِي فَذَهَبَتْ بِي أُمِّي إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَعَلَ يَمْسَحُ يَدِي وَلَا أَدْرِي مَا يَقُولُ أَنَا أَصْغَرُ مِنْ ذَاكَ فَسَأَلْتُ أُمِّي فَقَالَتْ كَانَ يَقُولُ أَذْهِبْ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Ahmad] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Isma'il] dari [Simak] dari [Muhammad bin Hathib] ia berkata, "Aku mengambil periuk untuk ibuku, lalu tanganku terbakar. [Ibuku] kemudian membawaku menemui Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau lantas mengusap tanganku namun aku tidak tahu apa yang beliau baca, sebab waktu itu aku masih kecil. Setelah itu aku menanyakannya kepada ibuku, ia berkata, "Beliau membaca: 'ADZHIBIL BAASA RABBAN NAASI WASYFI ANTASY SYAAFI LAA SYIFAA`A ILAA SYIFAA`UK (Hilangkanlah kepedihannya wahai Rabb-nya manusia, sembuhkanlah, Engkaulah Yang Maha Menyembuhkan, tiada kesembuhan selain kesembuhan dari-Mu).'" Hadits ke-29. حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ قَالَدَنَوْتُ إِلَى قِدْرٍ لَنَا فَاحْتَرَقَتْ يَدِي قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ أَوْ قَالَ فَوَرِمَتْ قَالَ فَذَهَبَتْ بِي أُمِّي إِلَى رَجُلٍ فَجَعَلَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِكَلَامٍ لَا أَدْرِي مَا هُوَ وَجَعَلَ يَنْفُثُ فَسَأَلْتُ أُمِّي فِي خِلَافَةِ عُثْمَانَ مَنْ الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَتْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Aswad bin Amir] dan [Ibrahim bin Abul Abbas] keduanya berkata, Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syarik] dari [Simak] dari [Muhammad bin Hathib] ia berkata, "Aku mendekati bejana hingga tanganku terbakar. Ibrahim menyebutkan, "Hingga tangannya bengkak." Muhammad bin Hathib berkata, "Kemudian Ibuku membawaku kepada seorang laki-laki, lalu laki-laki itu membaca sesuatu yang aku tidak pahami, kemudian ia meniup (tanganku). Saat pemerintahan Utsman aku bertanya kepada [ibuku], siapakah laki-laki tersebut. Ibuku lalu menjawab, "(Dia itu) Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam." (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-30. حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ قَالَكُنْتُ جَالِسًا مَعَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ فَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي قَدْ رَأَيْتُ أَرْضًا ذَاتَ نَخْلٍ فَاخْرُجُوا فَخَرَجَ حَاطِبٌ وَجَعْفَرٌ فِي الْبَحْرِ قِبَلَ النَّجَاشِيِّ قَالَ فَوُلِدْتُ أَنَا فِي تِلْكَ السَّفِينَةِ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Mu'awiyah bin Amru] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Ishaq] dari [Abu Malik Al Asyja'i] ia berkata; aku pernah duduk bersama [Muhammad bin Hathib] lalu ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Sesungguhnya aku telah melihat lahan yang memiliki pohon kurma, karena itu keluarlah kalian." Maka berangkatlah Hathib dan Ja'far dengan berlayar di laut menuju An Najasyi. Muhammad berkata, "Maka aku dilahirkan di dalam perahu itu." (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-31. حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَلْجٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَصْلُ مَا بَيْنَ الْحَلَالِ وَالْحَرَامِ الصَّوْتُ وَضَرْبُ الدُّفِّ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Affan] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Awanah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Balj] dari [Muhammad bin Hathib] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Pembatas antara yang halal dan yang haram adalah bunyi suara dan pukulan rebana." Hadits ke-32. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بَلْجٍ قَالَقُلْتُ لِمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ إِنِّي قَدْ تَزَوَّجْتُ امْرَأَتَيْنِ لَمْ يُضْرَبْ عَلَيَّ بِدُفٍّ قَالَ بِئْسَمَا صَنَعْتَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ فَصْلَ مَا بَيْنَ الْحَلَالِ وَالْحَرَامِ الصَّوْتُ يَعْنِي الضَّرْبَ بِالدُّفِّ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Ja'far] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] dari [Abu Balj] ia berkata; Aku berkata kepada [Muhammad bin Hathib], "Sesungguhnya aku telah menikah dengan dua orang wanita, namun pernikahanku belum (dimeriahkan dengan) pukulan rebana." Ia lalu berkata, "Alangkah buruk apa yang kamu lakukan. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Sesungguhnya pembatas antara halal dan haram adalah suara, yakni bunyi pukulan rebana." Hadits ke-33. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ قَالَوَقَعَتْ الْقِدْرُ عَلَى يَدِي فَاحْتَرَقَتْ يَدِي فَانْطَلَقَ بِي أَبِي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَانَ يَتْفُلُ فِيهَا وَيَقُولُ أَذْهِبْ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ وَاشْفِهِ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Ja'far] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] dari [Simak bin Harb] dari [Muhammad bin Hathib] ia berkata, "Suatu saat ada periuk yang terjatuh mengenai tanganku, hingga tanganku pun terbakar. Bapakku lantas membawaku kepada Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau pun meniupnya dan membacakan, "ADZHIBIL BAAS RABBAN NAASI, -dan aku menduga beliau membaca- WASYFI INNAKA ANTASY SYAAFI (Hilangkanlah kepedihannya wahai Rabb-nya manusia, sembuhkanlah, sesungguhnya Engkaulah Yang Maha Menyembuhkan).'" Hadits ke-34. حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَمَّنْسَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ دَعُوا النَّاسَ فَلْيُصِبْ بَعْضُهُمْ مِنْ بَعْضٍ فَإِذَا اسْتَنْصَحَ رَجُلٌ أَخَاهُ فَلْيَنْصَحْ لَهُ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Affan] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Awanah] dari [Atha` bin Sa`ib] dari [Hakim bin Abu Yazid] dari [Bapaknya] dari [seorang] yang mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Tinggalkanlah manusia, sehingga sebagian mereka mendapat hak dari sebagian yang lain. Jika seorang laki-laki meminta nasihat kepada saudaranya, maka hendaknya ia menasihatinya." (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-35. حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ قَالَكَانَ أَوَّلُ يَوْمٍ عَرَفْتُ فِيهِ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ أَبِي لَيْلَى رَأَيْتُ شَيْخًا أَبْيَضَ الرَّأْسِ وَاللِّحْيَةِ عَلَى حِمَارٍ وَهُوَ يَتْبَعُ جِنَازَةً فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي فُلَانُ بْنُ فُلَانٍ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ وَمَنْ كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ كَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ قَالَ فَأَكَبَّ الْقَوْمُ يَبْكُونَ فَقَالَ مَا يُبْكِيكُمْ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا نَكْرَهُ الْمَوْتَ قَالَ لَيْسَ ذَلِكَ وَلَكِنَّهُ إِذَا حَضَرَ{ فَأَمَّا إِنْ كَانَ مِنْ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ فَرَوْحٌ وَرَيْحَانٌ وَجَنَّةُ نَعِيمٍ }فَإِذَا بُشِّرَ بِذَلِكَ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ لِلِقَائِهِ أَحَبُّ{ وَأَمَّا إِنْ كَانَ مِنْ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ الضَّالِّينَ فَنُزُلٌ مِنْ حَمِيمٍ }قَالَ عَطَاءٌ وَفِي قِرَاءَةِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ثُمَّ تَصْلِيَةُ جَحِيمٍ فَإِذَا بُشِّرَ بِذَلِكَ يَكْرَهُ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ لِلِقَائِهِ أَكْرَهُ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Affan] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammam] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Atha` bin As Sa`ib] ia berkata, "Pertaka kali aku mengetahui [Abdurrahman bin Abu Laila] adalah ketika aku melihat seorang laki-laki tuan yang telah memutih rambut dan jenggotnya mengendarai seekor Himar sedang mengikuti jenazah. Aku mendengar [laki-laki tua itu] berkata, "Fulan bin Fulan menceritakan kepadaku, bahwa ia mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Barangsiapa mencintai untuk berjumpa dengan Allah, maka Allah mencintai perjumpaan dengannya. Dan barangsiapa membenci untuk berjumpa dengan Allah, maka Allah akan membenci perjumpaan-Nya dengannya." Lalu orang-orang pun menelungkup dan menangis. Maka beliau bertanya: "Apa yang menyebabkan kalian menangis?" mereka menjawab, "Sesungguhnya kami membenci kematian." Beliau bersabda: "Bukan itu maksudnya, akan tetapi saat kematian itu datang. '(Adapun jika dia (orang yang mati) termasuk orang-orang yang didekatkan (kepada Allah), maka ia akan memperoleh ketenteraman dan rezki serta jannah kenikmatan) ' (Qs. Al Waaqi'ah: seorang laki-laki-89). Maka saat ia diberi kabar gembira tentangnya, ia akan mencintai perjumpaannya dengan Allah, dan Allah mencintai perjumpaan dengannya. '(Dan adapun jika dia termasuk golongan yang mendustakan lagi sesat. Maka dia mendapat hidangan air yang mendidih) ' (Qs. Al Waaqi'ah: 92-92). Atha` berkata, "Dalam qira`ah Ibnu Mas'ud; "Kemudian Tashliayatu Jahim (api yang bergejolak). Maka jika ia diberi kabar tentangnya, ia akan membenci perjumpaan Allah, dan Allah pun lebih membenci perjumpaan dengannya." (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-36. حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ نُعَيْمٍ قَالَ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الرَّسُولِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَإِنْ زَنَى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ. Hadits ke-38. حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ شَهْرٍ قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ خُذُوا بِقَوْلِ قُرَيْشٍ وَدَعُوا فِعْلَهُمْ. Hadits ke-39. حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ عَنْ جُرَيٍّ النَّهْدِيِّ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ قَالَعَقَدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي يَدِهِ أَوْ فِي يَدِي فَقَالَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ نِصْفُ الْمِيزَانِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ تَمْلَأُ الْمِيزَانَ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ تَمْلَأُ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَالطُّهُورُ نِصْفُ الْإِيمَانِ وَالصَّوْمُ نِصْفُ الصَّبْرِ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Mu'adz bin Mu'adz] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Syu'bah] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Abu Ishaq Al Hamdani] dari [Jurai An Nahdi] dari [seorang laki-laki Bani Sulaim] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam menghitung di tangannya atau di tanganku seraya bersabda: "SUBHANALLAH (Maha Suci Allah) adalah setengah mizan, WAL HAMDULILLAH (Dan Segala puji bagi Allah) akan memenuhi timbangan, WAALLAHU AKBAR (Dan Allah Maha Besar) akan memenuhi antara langit dan bumi. Bersuci adalah setengah dari iman. Sedangkan puasa adalah setengah dari kesabaran." (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-40. حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو جَبِيرَةَ بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ قَالَفِينَا نَزَلَتْ فِي بَنِي سَلِمَةَ{ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا بِالْأَلْقَابِ }قَالَ قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَدِينَةَ وَلَيْسَ مِنَّا رَجُلٌ إِلَّا وَلَهُ اسْمَانِ أَوْ ثَلَاثَةٌ فَكَانَ إِذَا دُعِيَ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ بِاسْمٍ مِنْ تِلْكَ الْأَسْمَاءِ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ يَغْضَبُ مِنْ هَذَا قَالَ فَنَزَلَتْ{ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا بِالْأَلْقَابِ }. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Isma'il] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Dawud bin Abu Hind] dari [Asy Sya'bi] ia berkata, telah menceritakan kepadaku [Abu Jabirah bin Adl Dlahak] ia berkata, "Telah turun ayat berkenaan dengan kami, yakni Bani Salamah: '(Dan jangan memanggil dengan gelaran yang mengandung ejekan..) ' (Qs. Al Hujuraat: 11). Abu Jabirah berkata, "Saat Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam tiba di kota Madinah, tidak seorang laki-laki dari kami yang mempunyai nama kecuali memiliki nama lebih dari dua atau tiga.
