Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ ابْنْ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَالذَّلُولَ. Has told us [Isma'il bin `Aban] he said: "has told us [Abdullah bin Al Mubarak] from [Ma'mar] from [Ibn Thawus] from [his father] from [Ibn Abbas] he said: 'In the past we guarded the hadith and the hadith was always maintained from the Messenger of Allah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam until you encountered difficulties (distinguishing the truthfulness of the narrators) and telling the hadith relaxed." Having reported to us [Muhammad bin Yusuf] from [Sufyan] from [Laits] from [Thawus] from [Abdullah bin 'Amr] he said: "Almost the devils (who were once subject to Prophet Sulaiman 'alaihissalam appeared and taught people about religion." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 3rd Hadith. Allah's blessings Allah's blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings تَفْسِيرِ الْقُرْآنِ. It has been reported to us that [Musa bin Khalid] has told us [Mu'tamir] from [his father] that he said: "A person should be as careful in interpreting the hadith of Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam as he is as careful in interpreting the Qur'an." Has told us [Shadaqah bin Al Fadl] has told us [Mu'tamir] from [his father] he said: "[Ibn Abbas] once said: 'Aren't you afraid that you will be punished or drowned if you say: Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam said and so and so said." God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing إِنَّهُ لَا رَأْيَ لِأَحَدٍ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَإِنَّمَا God bless you يَنْزِلْ فِيهِ كِتَابٌ وَلَمْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. It has been reported to us that [Al Hasan bin Bisyr] has told us [Al Mu'afi] from [Al 'Auza'i] he said: "[Umar bin Abdul Aziz] once wrote a letter (which contained): 'There should be no one's opinion regarding matters that have been decided in the Book of Allah. Only the opinion of the Imams on matters for which there is no explanation in the Al-Quran, or the Sunnah of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alahi wa Sallam has not explained it, and there is no one's opinion either. in the sunnah that has been enshrined by the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam." God willing God willing God willing God bless you يُنْزِلْ بَعْدَ هَذَا الْكِتَابِ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْهِ كِتَابًا فَمَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّهِ فَهُوَ may Allah bless him and give him peace نَبِيِّهِ فَهُوَ حَرَامٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ أَلَا وَإِنِّي لَسْتُ بِقَاصٍّ وَلَكِنِّي مُنَفِّذٌ وَلَسْتُ God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ أَنْ يُطَاعَ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ God willing. Has told us [Musa bin Khalid] has told us [Mu'tamir bin Sulaiman] from [Ubaidullah bin Umar], that [Umar bin Abdul Aziz] preached, he said: "O people, Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala did not send any prophet after your Prophet, and Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala did not send down a book after this book that was revealed to him. What has Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala, it is permissible through the words of His Prophet, it is halal until the Day of Judgment, and whatever is forbidden through the words of His Prophet, it is haram until the Day of Resurrection. Know that I cannot decide, but I can only carry it out, I do not create new practices/heresies, but I am only a muttabi` (a follower of the sunnah), I am not the best person of all of you, but I am the person with the heaviest burden of all of you, and someone from Allah's creatures. subhanallahu wa ta'ala has no right to be obeyed in matters of disobedience to Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala, know whether I have heard (to you)?" Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing كَانَ طَاوُسٌ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ فَقَالَ لَهُ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ اتْرُكْهُمَا قَالَ إِنَّمَا نُهِيَ عَنْهَا God bless you نُهِيَ عَنْ صَلَاةٍ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ فَلَا أَدْرِي أَتُعَذَّبُ عَلَيْهَا أَمْ تُؤْجَرُ لِأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُ؈لُ لِما God willing God willing God willing. It has been reported to us that [Ubaidullah bin Sa'id] has narrated to us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from [Hisyam bin Hujair] he said: "Thawus once prayed two rak'ahs after (finished) the Ashr prayer, then [Ibnu Abbas] said to him: 'Leave these two rak'ahs', he (Thawus) said: 'What is forbidden is if you make it a sullaman, Ibn Abbas said: 'Indeed it is forbidden to pray after Ashr, I do not know whether (with it) you will be punished for it or rewarded, because Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala has said: "WA MAA KAANA LI MU'MININ WA LAA MU'MINATIN IDZAA QADLALLAHU WA RASUULUHU AMRAN AN YAKUNA LAHUMUL KHIYARATU MIN AMRIHIM" (And it is not appropriate for men who are believers and not even for women who are believers, if Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala and His Messenger have established a decree, there will be for them other choices regarding their affairs) -Qs Al Ahzab: 36- "What is meant by the word sullaman is to pray after Asr until evening." God willing God willing God bless you وَسَلَّمَ بِنُسْخَةٍ مِنْ التَّوْرَاةِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ God willing يَقْرَأُ وَوَجْهُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ يَتَغَيَّرُ فَقَالَ أَبُو God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God bless you وَسَلَّمَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَوا لَكُمْ مُوسَى فَاتَّبَعْتُمُوهُ وَتَرَكْتُمُونِي لَضَلَلْتُمْ عَنْ سَوَاءِ السَّبِيلِ وَلَوْ كَانَ حَيًّا وَأَدْرَكَ نُبُوَّتِي لَاتَّبَعَنِي. It was reported to us that [Muhammad bin Al 'Ala`] had told us [Ibnu Numair] from [Mujalid] from ['Amir] from [Jabir], that Umar bin Al Khatthab once came to see Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam with a copy of the Torah, then he said: 'O Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam?! The Prophet did not greet him other than silence, Umar read (Torah) and Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam seemed to change his face, then Abu Bakr said: 'TSAKILATKATTshallallahu 'alaihi wasallamAAKUL, did you not see the change in Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam's face? When Umar saw the change in the face of Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam, he said: 'I seek refuge in Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala from the anger of Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala and the anger of His Messenger, we are willing to accept Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala as God and the Islamic religion as a religion, and Muhammad as the Prophet'. So Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam said: 'By the One in Whose Hands is the soul of Muhammad, if Moses were among all of you and you followed him and left me, you would surely stray from the straight path, and if he (Prophet Musa 'alaihissalam) were still alive, and he discovered my prophethood, he would surely follow me' ". God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing فَقَالَ لَهُ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ أَيُعَذِّبُنِي God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing. Having told us [Qabishah] had reported to us [Sufyan] from [Abu Rabah] - an old man from the Umar family -, he said: "[Sa'id bin Al Musayyab] once saw a person praying two rak'ahs after the Ashr prayer, then he asked him: 'O Abu Muhammad, will Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala reward me for this prayer? ', he (Sa'id bin Al Musayyab) answered: 'No, but Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala will punish you because you have violated the sunnah' ". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 10th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَتَبَخْتَرُ فِي بُرْدَيْنِ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you فِي حُلَّةٍ لَهُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ أَهَكَذَا كَانَ يَمْشِي ذَلِكَ الْفَتَى الَّذِي خُسِفَ بِهِ ثُمَّ ضَرَبَ بِيَِ فَعَثَرَ عَثْرَةً كَادَ يَتَكَسَّرُ مِنْهَا فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ لِلْمَنْخَرَيْنِ وَلِلْفَمِ { إِنَّا كَفَيْنَاكَ الْمُسْتَهْزِئِينَ }. Has told us [Abdullah bin Salih] he said: "Has told me [Al Laits] has told me [Ibn 'Ajlan] from [Al 'Ajlan] from [Abu Hurairah] from Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam once said: 'There was once a man walking arrogantly with the proud clothes he wore. Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala sank him into the earth, then he writhed in the earth until the Day of Resurrection'. After that a man - whose name he mentioned - in his proud clothes said: 'O Abu Hurairah, is this how a young man who was drowned in the earth walked?, then he floundered with his hands, slipped, fell until his legs almost broke make fun of (you) ' " (Degree: authentic. God willing God bless you لَا تَخْذِفْ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ God willing وَظَنَّ أَنَّ الشَّيْخَ لَا يَفْطِنُ لَهُ فَخَذَفَ فَقَالَ may Allah bless him and give him peace God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing فِي مَرَضٍ وَلَا أُكَلِّمُكَ أَبَدًا فَقُلْتُ لِصَاحِبٍ لِي يُقَالُ لَهُ مُهَاجِرٌ انْطَلِقْ إِلَى خِرَاشٍ فَاسْأَلْهُ فَأَتَاهُ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْهُ فَحَدَّثَهُ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Humaid] has told us [Harun Ibn Al Mughirah], from ['Amr bin Abu Qais] from [Az Zubair bin 'Adi] from [Khirasy bin Jubair] he said: "(One day) I once saw a young man throwing (with a throwing tool) in the mosque, then [a sheikh] said: 'Don't throw because I have heard the Messenger of Allah "Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam forbade such things', hearing this statement the young man seemed indifferent and threw again, then the sheikh said again to him: 'I told you I once heard the Messenger of Allah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam forbid throwing, but you still threw? By Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala I will not deliver your body, and will not visit you when you are sick, and I will not chat with you." Then I said to my friend named Muhajir: "Go to Khirasy and ask him, then he came to him, and asked him, then he (the narrator) told the story." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 12th Hadith. God willing زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God God willing God bless you God bless you فَقَالَ هَذِهِ وَمَا تَكُونُ هَذِهِ فَقَالَ سَعِيدٌ أَلَا God willing God willing أَبَدًا. Has told us [Sulaiman bin Harb] has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] from [Ayyub] from [Sa'id bin Jubair] from [Abdullah bin Mughaffal] he said: "Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam prohibited the game of throwing small stones (Khadzf), he said: 'Such methods cannot be used to hunt and attack enemies, such methods can only damage teeth and hurt the eyes'. Then there was a young man (who was related to Sa'id) lifted a handful of earth and said: 'This object, and what is this object for', seeing the young man's attitude, Sa'id said: 'Didn't you see that I was telling you the hadith from Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam, but you are insulting him? (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 13th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهَ بْنُ الْحَسَنْ عَبْدُ اللَّهْ يَخْذِفُ فَقَالَ لَا تَخْذِفْ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَكَانَ يَكْرَهُهُ وَإِنَّهُ لَا يُنْكَأُ بِهِ عَدُوٌّ وَلَا يُصَادُ بِهِ صَيْدٌ وَلَكِنَّهُ قَدْ يَفْقَأُ الْعَيْنَ وَيَكْسِرُ السِّنَّ ثُمَّ رَآهُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ يَخْذِفُ فَقَالَ God willing God willing وَاللَّهِ لَا أُكَلِّمُكَ أَبَدًا. It has been reported to us [Abdullah bin Yazid] has told us [Kahmas bin Al Hasan] from [Abdullah bin Buraidah] he said: "[Abdullah bin Mughaffal] once saw a companion throwing (with small stones), so he said: 'Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam has forbidden throwing (with small stones) and also hated it, and it cannot be used to drive away enemies and cannot be used for hunting. It only results in injured his eyes and broke his teeth. Then he saw him continuing to throw again, so he said to him again: 'Didn't I tell you that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam forbade it, but I still saw you throwing? By Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala I will not talk to you." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 14th Hadith. God bless you بَشِيرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَ ابْنُ سِيرِينَ رَجُلًا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ قَالَ فُلَانٌ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَقَالَ ابْنُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَسَلَّمَ وَتَقُولُ قَالَ فُلَانٌ لَا أُكَلِّمُكَ أَبَدًا. Has told us [Marwan bin Muhammad] has told us [Sa'id bin Basyir] from [Qatadah] he said: "[Ibnu Sirin] once told someone a hadith from the Prophet sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam, then the person said: 'So and so once said this and this', then Ibn Sirin said: 'I told you a hadith from the Prophet sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam, while you said that said so and so?, I will not talk to you' (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 15th Hadith. God bless you God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you يَمْنَعْهَا فَقَالَ فُلَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ إِذًا God willing God bless you قَطُّ ثُمَّ قَالَ أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهّ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing أَمْنَعُهَا. Has reported to us [Muhammad bin Kathir] from [Al 'Auza'i] from [Az Zuhri] from [Salim] from [Ibn Umar]: "The Messenger of Allah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam said: 'If a woman asks permission to go to the mosque, do not forbid her'. Then someone said: 'Even so, by Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala, I will still forbid it, then Ibn Umar approached him and criticized his attitude with a reproach that I had never seen before, then he said: 'What about you, I told you a hadith from Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam, but instead you said that even so, I will still forbid it? God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. فَقَالَ فُلَانٌ مَا أَرَى بِهَذَا بَأْسًا يَدًا بِيَدٍ فَقَالَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَسَلَّمَ وَتَقُولُ لَا أَرَى بِهِ بَأْسًا وَاللَّهِ لَا يُظِلُّنِي وَإِيَّاكَ سَقْفٌ أَبَدًا. Has told us [Muhammad bin Humaid] has told us [Harun bin Al Mughirah] from [Ma'ruf] from [Abu Al Mukhariq] he said: "[Ubadah bin As Shamit] once mentioned, the Prophet sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam forbade exchanging two dirhams for one dirham, then someone said: 'I think it doesn't matter, as long as it is done in cash': So 'Ubadah said: 'I said the Prophet sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam said (thus) while you say I think there is no problem?, By Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala I will not take shelter under the same roof with you' ". Has told us [Muhammad bin Yazid Ar Rifa'i] has told us [Abu 'Amir Al 'Aqadi] from [Zam'ah] from [Salamah bin Wahram] from ['Ikrimah] from [Ibn Abbas] from the Prophet sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam he said: "Do not come home to your wife by surprise at night'. He (Ibn Abbas) said: 'one day, Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam saw a caravan coming and two men from the group were determined to come to his house at night, and both of them found his wife with another man." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 18th Hadith. Allah's blessings عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ نَزَلَ God willing فَخَرَجَ رَجُلَانِ مِمَّنْ سَمِعَ مَقَالَتَهُ فَطَرَقَا God bless you امْرَأَتِهِ رَجُلًا. Has told us [Abu Al Mughirah] has told us [Al 'Auza'i] has told us [Abdur Rahman bin Harmalah Al `Aslami] from [Sa'id bin Al Musayyab] he said: "The Messenger of Allah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam when he came from safar (long journey) he alighted at a resting place, then he said: 'Do not all of you come to the wives you at night'. Then there were two men who heard his words took desperate action by meeting his family, and each found his wife with another man' " (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 19th hadith. God willing فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَخْرُجُ بَعْدَ النِّدَاءِ مِنْ الْمَسْجِّا مُنَافِقٌ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ أَخْرَجَتْهُ حَاجَتُدُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you يَوْلَعُ بِذِكْرِهِ حَتَّى أُخْبِرَ أَنَّهُ وَقَعَ مِنْ رَاحِلَتِهِ فَانْكَسَرَتْ فَخِذُهُ. Has told us [Abu Al Mughirah] has told us [Al 'Auza'i] has told us [Abdur Rahman bin Harmalah] he said: 'There was a man who came to [Sa'id bin Al Musayyib] to say goodbye to perform the Hajj or Umrah, then he (Sa'id bin Al Musayyib) said to him: 'Do not go on a journey until you pray (first), because Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam once said: 'No one leaves the mosque after the call to prayer has been made unless he is a hypocrite, unless he has a very urgent need and intends to return to the mosque', then the man said: 'Sorry, my friends are already at Harrah (so I have to follow), the man still insisted on leaving the mosque', Abdur Rahman bin Harmalah said: 'The man still "desperate to get out' and Sa'id kept reminding him until news came that the man had fallen on his way and broken his femur." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 20th hadith. God willing God willing عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَا تُمِلُّوا النَّاسَ. Has told us ['Abdus Shamad bin 'Abdul Warits] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Abu Ishak] from [Abu Al `Ahwash] from [Abdullah] he said: "Do not all of you lose hope." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 21st Hadith. Allah's blessings كُرْدُوسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِنَّ لِلْقُلُوبِ نَشَاطًا وَإِقْبَالًا وَإِنَّ لَهَا تَوْلِيَةً وَإِدْبَارًا فَحَدِّثُوا النَّاسَ مَا أَقْبَلُوا عَلَيْكُمْ. It has been reported to us that [Yazid bin Harun] has reported to us [Ash'ath] from [Kurdus] from [Abdullah] he said: "The heart has times when it is enthusiastic and accepts, but sometimes it turns away and refuses, so you should talk to people if they can accept it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 22nd Hadith. Allah's blessings قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ يَقُولُ كَنَ يُقَالُ حَدِّثْ God willing الْتَفَتُوا فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ لَهُمْ حَاجَاتٍ. Has told us [Sulaiman bin Harb] has told us [Abu Hilal] he said: "I once heard [Al Hasan] say: 'In the past, there was a saying, 'Speak to people as long as their faces are still turned towards you, and when their faces start to turn away, know that they have other interests' ". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 23rd Hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings يَكْتُبُوا عَنْهُ فَلَمْ يَأْذَنْ لَهُمْ. Hadits ke-34. أَخْبَرَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَخْنَسِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مَاهَكَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ كُنْتُ أَكْتُبُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَسْمَعُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُرِيدُ حِفْظَهُ فَنَهَتْنِي قُرَيْشٌ وَقَالُوا تَكْتُبُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَشَرٌ يَتَكَلَّمُ فِي الْغَضَبِ وَالرِّضَا فَأَمْسَكْتُ عَنْ الْكِتَابِ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَوْمَأَ بِإِصْبَعِهِ إِلَى فِيهِ وَقَالَ اكْتُبْ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ مَا خَرَجَ مِنْهُ إِلَّا حَقٌّ. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Musaddad] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya] dari [Ubaidullah bin Al Akhnas] ia berkata: telah menceritakan kepadaku [Al Walid bin Abdullah] dari [Yusuf bin Mahak] dari [Abdullah bin 'Amr] ia berkata: "Dahulu aku menulis semua yang aku dengar dari Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam, aku hendak menghafalkannya tetapi masyarakat Quraisy melarangku, mereka berkata: 'Kamu menulis semua yang kamu dengar dari Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam, bukankah Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam juga manusia ia berbicara pada saat sedang marah dan senang? ', kemudian aku berhenti dari menulis, kemudian aku ceritakan hal itu kepada Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam, maka beliau mengisyaratkan dengan jarinya ke mulutnya seraya berkata: 'Tulislah, Demi Dzat yang jiwaku berada dalam genggamannya, tidaklah yang keluar dari (utusan Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala) selain kebenaran semata' ". Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Shalih] ia berkata: telah menceritakan kepadaku [Al Laits] telah menceritakan kepadaku [Khalid bin Yazid] dari [Sa'id bin Abu Hilal] dari [Abdul Wahid bin Qais] ia berkata: telah mengabarkan kepadaku [seorang pembawa kabar] dari [Abdullah bin 'Amr]: "Ia mendatangi Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam dan berkata: 'Wahai Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam, aku ingin meriwayatkan hadits darimu, dan aku ingin membantu hatiku (hafalan) dengan tulisan tanganku jika baginda mengijinkannya', kemudian Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam menjawab: 'Jika memang haditsku, kamu bisa membantu (hafalan) mu dengan tulisan tanganmu' ".
