Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing God willing God willing God willing God willing عَلَى أَمْرِهِمْ مِنْ النِّسَاءْ مَا نُقْصَانُ عَقْلِهَا قَالَ جُعِلَتْ شَهَادَةُ God willing God willing لَا تُصَلِّي لِلَّهِ صَلَاةً. Has reported to us [Abu Zaid Sa'id bin Ar Rabi'] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Al Hakam] he said: I once heard [Dzar] (say) from [Wa'il bin Muhanah] from [Abdullah] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam he said: "Give charity to you (o women), because you are the most numerous of the inhabitants of hell", then a woman who was not from the nobility asked: "Why like that?", or "with what cause?", or "because of what?", he answered: "Because you often curse and (often) do not appreciate the goodness of your husband", the narrator said: "Abdullah said: 'No human being who lacks religion and reason can control men who are in charge of affairs rather than women." A man suddenly asked Abdullah: "What is the lack of reason in women?", he answered: "He made the testimony of two women the same as the testimony of one man, then he was asked 'what is the lack of religion (in) women?", he answered: "She goes several days (day and night) without performing any prayers (read; during menstruation)." Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 2nd hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنا God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الْحَيْضْ فَلْتَغْسِلْ مَا أَصَابَهُ مِنْ الْأَذَى ثُمَّ تُصَلِّي فِيهِ. It has been reported to us that [Muhammad bin Yusuf] has told us [Al 'Auza'i] from [Abdur Rahman bin Al Qasim] from [his father] from [Aisyah] radiallahu 'anha he said: "When a woman is pure from menstruation, she should wear clothes that directly touch her skin, and she washes the unclean parts and then she prays." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 3rd Hadith. God willing God willing God bless you God willing God willing. It has been reported to us that [Muhammad bin Yusuf] has told us [Ibn 'Uyainah] from [Ibn Abu Najih] from ['Atha`] from [Aisyah] radliallahu 'anha he said: "Once one of us (women) had a war dress (which she wore) during menstruation and junub, then she saw in her war dress some drops of menstrual blood, then she cleaned it with her saliva." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 4th Hadith. God willing يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ إِذَا غَسَلَتْ الْمَرْأَم يَذْهَبْ فَلْتُغَيِّرْهُ بِصُفْرَةِ وَرْسٍ أَوْ زَعْفَرَانٍ. Has told us [Abu An Nu'man] has told us [Thabit bin Yazid] has told us ['Ashim] from [Mu'adzah Al 'Adawiyah] from [Aisyah] radiallahu 'anha he said: "If a woman washes the blood and it doesn't come off, she should wash it off with yellow sane or za'faran". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 5th Hadith. Allah's blessings يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةَ God bless you God bless you God. Has told us [Sa'id bin Ar rabi'] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Yazid Ar Risyk] he said: I once heard [Mu'adzah Al 'Adawiyah] from [Aisyah] radliallahu 'anha A woman said to him: "When blood gets on clothes, then I wash it (but) it doesn't come off, should I cut it?", he answered: "Water is holy, (certainly purifies)". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 6th Hadith. God willing يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرَ صُبْحٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ خِلَاسَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو قَالَ سَمِعْتُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing مِنِّي شَيْءٌ غَسَلَ مَا أَصَابَهُ لَمْ يَعْدُهُ إِلَى غَيْرِهْ God bless you إِلَى غَيْرِهِ وَصَلَّى فِيهِ. Has told us [Abu Al Walid Ath Thayalisi] has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id Al Qaththan] has told me [Jabir bin Shubh] he said: I once heard [Khilas bin 'Amr] he said: I once heard [Aisyah] radiallahu 'anha she said: "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam - alias Abu AlQasim- was with me in one garment and (at that time) I'm menstruating, if he gets blood on me, he cleans it (only the part that has blood on it) and doesn't spread it to anything else, then he prays in those clothes, then he repeats it again, and if he gets something on me, he does it again like that, washes only the part that has blood on it and doesn't spread it to anything else, then he prays in that clothes." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 7th Hadith. God willing God bless you Allah's blessings مِنْهَا دَمٌ فَتَغْسِلَ مَوْضِعَ الدَّمِ. It has been reported to us by [Ubaidullah bin Musa] from [Uthman] from [Mujahid] he said: "A woman who is (pure from) menstruation, she (may) pray in her clothes when she is menstruating, unless the clothes are stained with blood, she washes the part that is stained with blood." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 8th Hadith. God willing God willing الْمُنْذِرْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عَنْ دَمِ الْحَيْضْ رُشِّيهِ بِالْمَاءِ. Has told us ['Amr bin 'Aun] has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from [Hisyam bin 'Urwah] from [Fathimah bint Al Mundzir] from [`Asma` bint Abu Bakr] he said: "I once asked the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam about menstrual blood on clothes", he answered: "Scrape it off, and sprinkle it with water." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 9th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you هُوَ ابْنُ إِسْحَقَ حَدَّثَتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing God willing فِيهِ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Abdullah Ar Raqqasyi] has told us [Yazid bin Zurai'] has told us [Muhammad Ibnu Ishaq], he said: Has told me [Fathimah bint Al Mundzir] from [`Asma` bint Abu Bakr] she said: "I once heard a woman ask the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam about her clothes, if she has been pure from menstruation, what should she what to do with his clothes?, he replied: 'If you see blood on them, scrape them off, then clean them with water and sprinkle all the parts (that have blood on them), and pray with (wearing) them' ". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 10th Hadith. God willing God willing عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْحَدَّادْ أُمِّ قَيْسٍ بِنْتِ مِحْصَنٍ عَنْ or God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَحُكِّيهِ بِضِلَعٍ. Has told us [Abu 'Ubaid Al Qasim bin Salam], has told us [Abdur Raman bin Mahdi] from [Sufyan] from [Tsabit Al Haddad] from ['Adi bin Dinar] -Umm Qais bint Mihshan's former slave-, from [Ummu Qais] radiallahu 'anha he said: "I once asked the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam about menstrual blood that affects clothes, he answered: "Wash with water and sidr (a type of fragrant plant that is pounded and dried, usually used as a washing mixture), and scrape it with wood (or something similar)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 11th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الرَّبِى God willing God willing يُصِيبُ ثَوْبَهَا مِنْ دَمِ حِيضَتِهَا فَقَالَتْ لِتَغْسِلْهُ God willing قَالَتْ إِنَّ الْمَاءَ طَهُورٌ. Has reported to us [Sa'id bin Ar Rabi'] from [Ali bin Al Mubarak] he said: "I once heard [Karimah] say: "I heard [Aisyah] radliallahu 'anha, there was a woman conveying her complaints: 'Her clothes are stained with menstrual blood', she (Aisyah radliallahu 'anha) answered: "She should wash them with water", she said again: "She has washed them, but it is still a trace remains," Aisyah replied: "Water is holy (and certainly purifies)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 12th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُم God willing قَالَ سَأَلْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ الْجُنُبَ فِي الثَّوْبِ ثُمَّ يَمْسَحُهُ بِهِ قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ. Has reported to us [Abu Nu'aim] from [Abdul Wahab Ats Tsaqafi] from [Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khutsaim] he said: "I once asked [Sa'id bin Jubair], about a junub if he sweats on his clothes and then he wipes them with the cloth he is wearing, he answered: "It's okay". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 13th Hadith. God bless you سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing. Has told us [Hajjaj bin Minhal] has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khutsaim] from [Sa'id bin Jubair]: he views the sweat of junub people as 'no problem". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 14th Hadith. Allah's blessings السَّائِبِ عَنْ الشَِ بَأْسًا. Has told us [Hajjaj] has told us [Hammad] from ['Atha` bin As Sa`ib] from [Ash Sya'bi]: He considers it to be no problem". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 15th Hadith. God willing الْحَسَنِ قَالَ مَا كُلُِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانُوا يَجِدُونَ ثَوا اغْتَسَلْتَ أَلَسْتَ تَلْبَسُهُ فَذَاكَ بِذَاكَ. Has told us [Hajjaj] has told us [Hammad] from [Humaid] from [Al Hasan] he said: "Not all the companions of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam had two clothes", he also said: "Isn't it the same after you bathe, you still wear the clothes?, (answered yes), the same is true." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 16th Hadith. God willing God willing مُحَمَّدٍ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ سُئِلَتْ عَنْ الرَّجُلِ يُصِيبُ God bless you تَرَ بِهِ بَأْسًا. It has been reported to us ['Amr bin 'Aun] has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Al Qasim bin Muhammad]: "[Aisyah] radliallahu 'anha was asked about a man who had sex with his wife and then he wore his clothes and sweated while wearing them, she (Aisyah radliallahu 'anha) thought there was nothing wrong with this matter." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 17th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ ابْنْ يَعْرَقَ الْجُنُبُ وَالْحَائِضُ فِي الثَّوْبِ يُصَلَّى فِيهِ. It has been reported to us ['Amr bin 'Aun] has told us [Yahya bin Sulaim] from [Ibn Juraij] from ['Atha`] he said: "There is nothing wrong with a person who is junub or who is menstruating and sweating (so that his body is wet) and then he uses it for prayer." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 18th Hadith. God willing God willing فِي ثَوْبِهِ قَالَ لَا يَضُرُّهُ وَلَا يَنْضَحُهُ بِالْمَاءِ. It has been reported to us ['Amr bin 'Aun] has informed us [Abu Al `Ahwash] from [Abu Hamzah] from [Ibrahim] about a person who is junub, (if) he sweats through his clothes. He said: "He is fine and there is no need to douse his clothes with water." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 19th hadith. God bless you God bless you فَإِنَّهُ يُجْزِئُهَا أَنْ تَنْضَحَهُ بِالْمَاءِ. Has reported to us [Yazid bin Harun] from [Hisyam] from [Hammad] from [Ibrahim] about a woman who was menstruating, when she sweated through her clothes: "It is enough for her to sprinkle it with water." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 20th hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنْ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي فِيهِ. It has been reported to us that [Abdullah bin Salamah] has told us [Malik] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] radliallahu 'anhu. He once sweated through his clothes when he was in the middle of junub, (after purifying himself) he prayed in those clothes." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 21st Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَي هِشَامٍ هُوَ ابْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ God willing وَالْجُنُبِ. It has been reported to us that [Yahya bin Yahya] has told us [Husyaim] from [Hisyam Ibn Hassan], from ['Ikrimah] from [Ibn Abbas] may Allah be pleased with him: "He does not consider it a problem for a person who is junub or menstruating if he sweats (in the clothes he wears)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 22nd Hadith. God willing أَنَسٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ قَالَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings لِي مِنْ امْرَأَتِي وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ قَالَ لِتَشُدَّ عَلَيْهَا God willing. Has told us [Khalid bin Makhlad] has told us [Malik bin Anas] from [Zaid bin Aslam] he said: "A man once asked the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "What is permissible for me to do with my wife when she is menstruating?", he answered: "You should fasten the sarong, then the upper part is permissible for you." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 23rd Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَقَالَتْ لِتَشُدَّ إِزَارَهَا عَلَى أَسْفَلِهَا ثُمَّ يُبَاشِرُهَا. It has been reported to us that [Khalid] has told us [Malik] from [Nafi'] he said: "Abdullah bin Abdullah bin Umar sent (someone) to [Aisyah] radiallahu 'anha to ask her: 'Is it permissible for a man to fondle his wife while she is menstruating?', he answered: 'The (wife) should tighten her lower sarong, then it is permissible for her husband to fondle her' ". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 24th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you مَرَاقِّهَا وَبَيْنَ فَخِذَيْهَا فَإِذَا دَفَقَ غَسَلَتْ مَا أَصَابَهَا وَاغْتَسَلَ هُوَ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Isa] has told us [Ibn Abu Za`idah] from [Al 'Ala` bin Al Musayyib] from [Hammad] from [Ibrahim] he said: "A woman who is menstruating, her husband may come to her in the lower part of her stomach (navel) and between her two thighs, when semen comes out, she (the wife) should wash the part affected by it (mani) and he (husband) must bathe." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 25th Hadith. God bless you مِغْوَلٍ قَالَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ عَطَاءً عَنْ الْحَائِضِ فَلَمْ يَرَ بِمَا دُونَ الدَّمِ بَأْسًا. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yusuf] has told us [Malik bin Mighwal] he said: "A man asked ['Atha`] about women who menstruate, he did not consider it a problem (fondling) other than the place where the blood comes out (genitals)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 26th Hadith. God bless you God willing قَالَتْ كُنْتُ إِذَا حِضْتُ أَمَرَنِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَتَّزِرُ وَكَانَ يُبَاشِرُنِي. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yusuf] has told us [Sufyan] from [Mansur] from [Ibrahim] from [Al `Aswad] from [Aisyah] radiallahu 'anha he said: "When I experience menstruation, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam ordered me to wear a sarong, then he fondled me." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 27th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God bless you مِنْ امْرَأَتِهِ إِذَْ God bless you God willing كَلَامِهَا. It has been reported to us [Yazid bin Harun] has told us ['Uyainah bin Abdur Rahman bin Jausyan] from [Marwan Al `Ashfar] from [Masruq] he said: I asked [Aisyah] radiallahu 'anha: "What is permissible for a man to have with his wife who is menstruating?", he answered: "Everything (is permissible) except jima' (sexual intercourse)", I asked again: "What is forbidden to him from his wife, if both of them are performing ihram?", he answered: "Everything except inviting her to talk." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 28th Hadith. God bless you جَلْدِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ لِإِنْسَانٍ اجْتَنِبْ شِعَارَ الدَّمِ. It has been reported to us [Muhammad bin Yusuf] has told us [Sufyan] from [Al Jald bin Ayyub] from [a man] from [Aisyah] radiallahu 'anha he said to the people: "Avoid clothes that are stained with (menstrual) blood." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 29th Hadith. God bless you God willing يَعْنِي الدَّمَ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yusuf] has told us [Sufyan] from [Isma'il] from [As Sya'bi] he said: "(The meaning of the expression): 'When the disease has stopped', is the stopping of the blood' ". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 30th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُم مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ يُقْبِلُ بِهِ وَيُدْبِرُ God willing. It has been reported to us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Al Hasan bin Salih] from [Laits] from [Mujahid] he said: "A husband may fondle his wife (during menstruation) from the front or behind except the anus and the place where menstrual blood comes out (her genitals)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 31st Hadith. God bless you عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنْ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولّ God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا لَكِ أَنَفِسْتِ قُلْتَ God bless you God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَسَلَّمَ ادْخُلِي فِي اللِّحَافِ فَدَخَلْتُ. Has reported to us [Ya'la bin 'Ubaid] and [Yazid bin Harun] from [Muhammad bin 'Amr] from [Abu Salamah] from [Ummu Salamah] radliallahu 'anha he said: "I once was with the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam under one blanket. Suddenly my menstruation came, I went straight away and I put on my menstrual clothes. He asked: 'What's wrong with you?, are you experiencing postpartum? ', I answered: 'I got the habit experienced by women', he said: 'That is what Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala has ordained for the daughters of the Prophet Adam 'alaihissalaam. He said: 'I got up and I cleaned up my condition, then I met the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam again, he said: 'Get under the blanket', (Umm Salamah radliallahu 'anha said): 'I'm going in too' ". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 32nd Hadith. God bless you ابْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ. It has been reported to us that [Khalid bin Makhlad] has told us [Malik] from [Ibn Shihab] from ['Urwah] from [Aisyah] radiallahu 'anha, he said: "I once combed the hair of the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam while I was (in the state of) menstruation." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) Hadits ke-33. أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ كُنَّ جَوَارِي ابْنِ عُمَرَ يَغْسِلْنَ رِجْلَيْهِ وَهُنَّ حُيَّضٌ وَيُعْطِينَهُ الْخُمْرَةَ. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Khalid] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Malik] dari [Nafi'] ia berkata: "Para budak wanita [Ibnu Umar] radliallahu 'anhu mencuci kedua kakinya (Ibnu Umar), dan mereka sedang haid, dan mereka juga memberinya tikar untuk shalat". Hadits ke-34. أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أُوتَى بِالْإِنَاءِ فَأَضَعُ فَمِي فَأَشْرَبُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ فَيَضَعُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَهُ عَلَى الْمَكَانِ الَّذِي وَضَعْتُ فَيَشْرَبُ وَأُوتَى بِالْعَرْقِ فَأَنْتَهِسُ فَيَضَعُ فَاهُ عَلَى الْمَكَانِ الَّذِي وَضَعْتُ فَيَنْتَهِسُ ثُمَّ يَأْمُرُنِي فَأَتَّزِرُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ وَكَانَ يُبَاشِرُنِي. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Yusuf] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan] dari [Al Miqdam bin Syuraih bin Hani`] dari [ayahnya] dari [Aisyah] radliallahu 'anha ia berkata: "Aku pernah diberi sebuah wadah air (minum) aku menempelkan di bibirku dan saat itu sedang haid, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam menempelkan ke bibir beliau di bagian yang aku tempelkan bibirku dan beliau meminumnya, kemudian aku diberi sepotong daging, maka aku gigit, beliau menempelkan bibirnya dibagian gigitanku, kemudian beliau menggigitnya, kemudian beliau memerintahkanku untuk mengenakan sarung (penutup) dan aku dalam keadaan haid, beliau mencumbuiku". Has told us [Muhammad bin Yusuf] has told us [Sufyan] from [Mughirah] from [Ibrahim] he said: "It was once said: 'A woman who is menstruating does not have menstruation on her hands, she can wash her hands then make cakes and drink juice."
