Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing قَالَتْ إِنِّي حَائِضٌ قَالَ إِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ فِي يَدِكِ. Has told us [Abu Al Walid] has told us [Syu'bah], has said [Sulaiman] has told me from [Thabit bin 'Ubaid] from [Al Qasim] from [Aisyah] radiallahu 'anha he said: "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam once said to him: 'Bring me a mat (for prayer)', he said: 'Sorry I'm menstruating', he said: 'Menstruation is not in your hands'". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 2nd hadith. God bless you God bless you الْحَسَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ God bless you مِنْ الدَّمِ لَا يَقْرَبُهَا زَوْجُهَا حَتَّى تَغْتَسِلَ God willing الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ مِثْلَهُ سَوَاءً. Has told us [Muhammad bin Isa], has told us [Husyaim], has told us [Mughirah] from [Ibrahim] and [Yunus] from [Al Hasan] and [Abdul Malik] from ['Atha]. [Muhammad] also said; It has been told to me [Yahya bin Sa'id Al Qaththan] from [Uthman bin Al `Aswad] from [Mujahid] About a woman who is menstruating, when she has become pure from blood: "Her husband should not approach her (sexualize her) until she has bathed." Has told us ['Ubaidullah bin Musa] from [Uthman bin Al `Aswad] from [Mujahid] with the same editor. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 3rd Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing تُسْتَتَابُ. It was reported to us [Muhammad bin Yusuf] that he said: "[Sufyan] was once asked, whether a man can have sex with his wife if the blood (her menstruation) has stopped before she bathes?", he answered: "It is not permissible", asked: "What do you think if she skips bathing for two or more days?", he answered: "She should immediately be asked to repent." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 4th Hadith. God bless you عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ مُجَهِدٍ يَطْهُرْنَ } قَالَ حَتَّى يَنْقَطِعَ الدَّمُ { فَإِذَا تَطَهَّرْنَ } قَالَ إِذَا اغْتَسَلْنَ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yusuf] has told us [Sufyan] from [someone who told him] from [Mujahid]: (About the verse) "WA LAA TAQRABUUHUNNA HATTAA YATHURNA" (And do not approach them (menstruating women) until they are pure) -Qs. Al Baqarah: 222-, he said: "(The meaning is) until the blood (menstruation) stops", and "FAIDZAA TATHAHHARNA" (And when they are pure) -Qs. Al Baqarah: 222-, he said: "(the meaning is) if they have bathed." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 5th Hadith. God willing ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ { حَتَّى يَطْهُرْنَ } قَالَ إِذَا انْقَطَعَ الدَّمُ { فَإِذَا تَطَهَّرْنَ } قَالَ اغْتَسَلْنَ. Has preached to us [Ubaidullah bin Musa] from [Sufyan] from [Ibn Abu Najih] from [Mujahid] "HATTAA YATHHURNA" (Until they are pure) -Qs. Al Baqarah: 222-, he said (the meaning is): "If the blood has really stopped", (as He said) "FA IDZAA TATHAHHARNA" (And if they have purified) -Qs. Al Baqarah: 222-, he said (the meaning is): "(if) they have bathed." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 6th Hadith. God willing God bless you God bless you قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ قَالَ لَا حَتَّى تَحِلَّ لَهَا الصَّلَاةُ. It has been reported to us that [Ubaidullah bin Musa] has told us [Uthman bin Al `Aswad] he said: "I once asked [Mujahid] about a woman who saw pure (signs), is it halal for her husband to have sexual intercourse with her before she bathes?", he answered: "It is not permissible, until she is allowed to perform the prayer (i.e. after bathing)". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 7th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ or God willing God willing وَحَدَّثَنِي حَمَّادٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالُوا لَا يَغْشَاهَا حَتَّى تَغْتَسِلَ. Has told us [Al Mu'alla bin `Asad] has told us [Abdul Wahid Ibnu Ziyad], has told us [Al Hajjaj bin `Arthah] he said: "I once asked ['Atha'] and [Maimun bin Mihran], and [Hammad] told me from [Ibrahim], they said: "He (the husband) should not have sex with her until he (the wife) bathes (hadats) ". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 8th Hadith. God bless you God willing قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ قَالَ هِيَ حَائِضٌ مَا لَمْ تَغْتَسِلْ وَعَلَيْهِ الْكَفَّارَةُ وَلَهُ أَنْ يُرَاجِعَهَا مَا لَمْ تَغْتَسِلْ. Has reported to us [Yazid bin Harun] from [Hisyam] from [Al Hasan] About a man who had sexual intercourse with his wife and she (his wife) had actually seen (signs of) purity before she bathed (hadats), he said: "She is still menstruating as long as she has not bathed and the husband is obliged to pay kaffarah and he (husband) should refer to his wife as long as she has not bathed." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 9th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَقُولُ قَالَ أَبُو الْخَيْرِ مَرْثَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ God willing God willing God willing يَوْمٌ. Has told us [Abdullah bin Yazid] has told us [Haiwah bin Syuraih] he said: "I have heard [Yazid bin Abu Habib] say: [Abul Khair] said: Have said: [Martsad bin Abdullah Al Yazani]: I have heard ['Uqbah bin 'Amir Al Juhani] say: 'By Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala, I do not have intercourse with my wife on the day she is pure until one day'". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 10th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَِكِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى الطُّهْرَ أَيَأْتِيهَا زَوْجُهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ قَالَ لَا حَتَّى تَغْتَسِلَ. Has told us [Ya'la bin 'Ubaid] has told us [Abdull Malik] from ['Atha`] About a woman who sees (signs of) purity, is it permissible for her husband to have sex with her before she bathes (hadats)?", he replied: "Not permissible, until she has bathed." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 11th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God bless you God bless you فِي ذَلِكَ لِلشَّبِقِ قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد أَخَافُ أَنْ يَكُونَ ذَا خَطَأً أَخَافُ أَنْ يَكُونَ مِنْ حَدِيثِ لَيْثٍ لَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing. Has reported to us [Farwah bin Abu Al Maghra`] he said: I once heard [Syarik], a man asked him, he said: "A woman whose blood has stopped, can her husband come to her before she bathes?" I'm afraid that's Laits' opinion, I don't know the hadith (like that) from Abdul Malik", Abu Muhammad said: "Asysyabiq is a person who has a strong desire". (Degree: authentic. Has reported to us [Muhammad bin Isa] he said: [Husyaim] told us from [Abu Hurrah Washil bin Abdur Rahman], from [Al Hasan] he said: "I have seen the women of Medina praying with their hair dyed." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 13th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing تُقْطَعَ يَدِي بِالسَّكَاكِينِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ ذَلِكَ. It has been reported to us [Sa'id bin 'Amir] from [Syu'bah] from [Ibn Abu Najih] from [someone] who heard from [Aisyah] radiallahu 'anha: She (Aisyah) was asked about a woman who smeared (her hair) with polish, she answered: "If my hand is cut with a knife, that is more I like than that." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 14th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing وَاسْمُ أَبِي الْعَنَبْسِ سَعِيدُ بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ. It has been reported to us [Sa'id bin 'Amir] from [Ibn 'Aun] from [Abu Sa'id] that a woman asked [Aisyah] may Allah be pleased with her, (what is the law) for a woman praying and having her hair dyed?, she answered: "Wipe it off and throw it on the ground." Abu Mauhammad said: "Abu Sa'id is Ibn Abu Al 'Anbas, and the name of Abu Al 'Anbas is Sa'id bin Kathir bin 'Ubaid." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 15th Hadith. God willing قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ عَنْ ابْنَ نِسَاؤُنَا يَخْتَضِبْنَ بِاللَّيْلِ فَإِذَا أَصْبَحْنَ فَتَحْنَهُ فَتَوَضَّأْنَ وَصَلَّيْنَ ثُمَِ God bless you فَتَوَضَّأْنَ وَصَلَّيْنَ فَأَحْسَنَّ خِضَابَهُ وَلَا يَمْنَعُ مِنْ الصَّلَاةِ. It has been reported to us ['Affan] has told us [Abu 'Awanah] from [Qatadah] from [Abu Mijlaz] from [Ibn Abbas] radiallahu 'anhu he said: "Our wives dye their hair at night, when dawn approaches them, they clean it, perform ablution and pray, then after prayer they polish their hair again, and when the time of dhuhur comes they clean the polish and perform ablution then pray, then they refine their shine, and (it) does not hinder prayer." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 16th Hadith. God willing نَافِعٍ أَنَّ نِسَاءَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ كُنَّ يَخْتَضِبْنَ وَهُنَّ حُيَّضٌ. Has told us [hajjaj] has told us [Hammad] from [Ayyub] from [Nafi']; "[Ibn Umar's] wives, may Allah be pleased with them, used to dye their hair during menstruation." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 17th Hadith. God bless you God bless you قَالَ كُنَّ نِسَاؤُنَا إِذَا صَلَّيْنَ الْعِشَاءَ الْآخِرَةَ God willing وَصَلَّيْنَ وَإِذَا صَلَّيْنَ الظُّهْرَ اخْتَضَبْنَ فَإِذَا God willing خِضَابَهُ وَلَا يَحْبِسُ عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ. Has told us [Muslim bin Ibrahim] has told us [Hisyam] has told us [Qatadah] from [Abu Mijlaz] from [Ibn Abbas] radiallahu 'anhu he said: "Our wives when they finish the evening prayer, they dye their hair, and when dawn comes, they clean it, perform ablution and then pray, and when they have prayed the midday prayer they dye their hair again, if they want to Ashr prayer, they clean it (and so on) they improve the way of polishing it, and they are not hindered from praying." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 18th Hadith. God bless you أَخْبَرَنَا مُغِيرَةُ عَنْ or God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing اللَّهَ وَيَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ وَلَا يَعُودُ أَخْبَرَنَا God willing عَنْ الْمُثَنَّى عَنْ عَطَاءٍ مِثْلَهُ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Isa] has told us [Husyaim] has told us [Mughirah] from [Ibrahim]. (And from another line;) Has reported to us [Isma'il bin Abu Khalid] from ['Amir] About a husband who had sex with his wife while menstruating, both of them said: "The sin he has committed, (he should immediately) ask forgiveness from Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala and he should also repent and not repeat it again." Has told us [Muhammad bin Isa] has told us [Yahya bin Abu Za`idah] from [Al Mutsanna] from ['Atha`] with a similar history". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 19th hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ ذَنْبٌ أَتَاهُ وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ كَفَّارَةٌ. It has been reported to us that [Muhammad bin Isa] and [Abu An Nu'man] both said: It has been reported to us [Abdullah bin Al Mubarak] from [Ya'qub bin Al Qa'qa'] from [Muhammad bin Zaid] from [Sa'id bin Jubair] he said: "He has committed sin and there is no kaffarah on him." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 20th hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing God willing إِلَى اللَّهِ وَيَتُوبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ. It has been reported to us that [Muhammad bin Isa] has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Ubaidullah bin Umar] from [Abdur Raman bin Al Qasim] from [his father]: That he was once asked about someone who had sex with his wife while she was menstruating, he answered: "He should ask Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala for forgiveness and repent to Him." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 21st Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ شَيْءٌ يَعْنِي إِذَا وَقَعَ عَلَى امْرَأَتِهِ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ. It has been reported to us that [Muhammad bin Yusuf] has told us [Sufyan] from [Ibn Juraij] from ['Atha`] he said: "You should ask Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala for forgiveness and there is no obligation whatsoever on you, (ie if he has sexual intercourse with his wife while she is menstruating)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 22nd Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing يَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ. It has been reported to us [Uthman bin Muhammad] has told us [Bisyr bin Al Mufadhdhal] from [Malik bin Al Khaththab Al 'Anbari] from [Ibn Abu Awalkah] he said: "He was asked while (at that time) hearing about a man who had sex with his wife while she was menstruating, he answered: "He should ask Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala for forgiveness." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 23rd Hadith. God bless you زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى God willing God willing قَالَ اتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَلَا تَعُدْ. Has told us [Sulaiman bin Harb] has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] from [Ayyub] from [Abu Qilabah]: There was a man who came to see [Abu Bakr], he said: "I dreamed as if I was urinating blood", he asked: "Did you have sex with your wife when she was menstruating?", he answered: "Yes, it is true", he said: "Fear Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala, and do not you repeat." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 24th Hadith. God bless you هِشَامٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ فِي الَّذِي يَقَعُ عَلَى Allah's blessings. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yusuf] has told us [Sufyan] from [Hisyam] from [Muhammad bin Sirin] about a man who had sex with his wife while she was menstruating, he said: "He should ask Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala for forgiveness." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 25th Hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you يُفْطِرُ يَوْمًا مِنْ رَمَضَانَ قَالَ عَلَيْهِ عِتْقُ رَقَبَةٍ God willing God willing ذَلِكَ. Has told us [Muslim bin Ibrahim] has told us [Yazid bin Ibrahim] he said: "I once heard [Al Hasan] say about a person who broke the fast one day in the month of Ramadan (without any reason) he said: 'He must free a slave or slaughter a camel or give alms of twenty sha' (basic food) for forty people, and for the person who has sex with his wife while she is menstruating, it is similar to that (kaffarah). God willing عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنْ ابْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ قَالَ يَتَصَدَّقُ بِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ. It has been reported to us that [Abu Al Walid] has narrated to us [sharik] from [Khushaif] from [Miqsam] from [Ibn Abbas] radliallahu 'anhu from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam (said) about a man who cheated on his wife while she was menstruating: "She must give charity with half a dinar." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 27th Hadith. God willing الْحَكَمِ عَنْ عَبْدّ God willing يَتَصَدَّقُ بِدِينَارٍ أَوْ نِصْفِ دِينَارٍ شَكَّ الْحَكَمُ. It has been told to us [Abu Al Walid] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Al Hakam] from [Abdul Hamid] from [Miqsam] from [Ibn Abbas] radliallahu 'anhu about a person who had sex with his wife while she was menstruating: "He must give charity one or half a dinar", Al Hakam doubts the certainty of half or one dinar in this case. It has been reported to us that [Muhammad bin Yusuf] has told us [Sufyan] from [Ibnu Juraij] from [Abdul Karim] from [a man] from [Ibn Abbas] may Allah be pleased with him, he said: "If he has sex with her while the blood is still coming out, then (the kaffarat is) one dinar, and if he has sex with her after the blood has stopped (but has not yet bathed), then half a dinar." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 29th Hadith. God bless you خُصَيْفٍ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنْ ابْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَقَعُ عَلَى امْرَأَتِهِ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ يَتَصَدَّقُ بِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ. It has been reported to us that [Muhammad bin Yusuf] has told us [Sufyan] from [Khushaif] from [Miqsam] from [Ibn Abbas] may Allah be pleased with him, he said: The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam has said about a person who has sex with his wife while she is menstruating: "He must give charity half a dinar." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 30th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنا God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing فَوَقَعَ عَلَيْهَا فَإِذَا هِيَ صَادِقَةٌ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing بِخُمُسَيْ دِينَارٍ. It has been reported to us that [Muhammad bin Yusuf] has told us [Al 'Auza'i] from [Yazid bin Abu malik] from [Abdul Hamid bin Zaid bin Al Khaththab] he said: "Umar bin Khaththab may Allah be pleased with him had a wife who did not like sexual intercourse, so if he wanted to have sex with her he pretended he was menstruating, he still had sex with her and it turned out he was honest (at that time he was really menstruation), then she went to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he ordered her to give alms with one fifth of a dinar." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 31st Hadith. Allah's blessings هُوَ ابْنُ غِيَاثٍ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ God willing يَأْتِي امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ قَالَ يَتَصَدَّقُ God willing يَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ. Has told us [Abdullah bin Muhammad] has told us [Hafsh Ibn Ghiyats], from [Al A'masy] from [Al hakam] from [Miqsam] from [Ibn Abbas] radiallahu 'anhu; When he was asked about someone who had sex with his wife while she was menstruating, he said: "He must give charity with one dinar or half a dinar." And Ibrahim said: 'He must ask forgiveness from Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 32nd Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing اللَّهِ عَنْ ابْنْ Allah's blessings فَعَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقَ بِدِينَارٍ. It has been reported to us by ['Amr bin 'Aun] from [Khalid bin Abdullah] from [Ibn Abu Laila] from ['Atha`] from [Ibn Abbas] may Allah be pleased with him that he said: "If a man has sex with his wife while she is menstruating, he must give her one dinar in charity." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 33rd Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَِكِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ يَتَصَدَّقُ بِدِينَارٍ. Has told us [Ya'la] has told us [Abdul Malik] of ['Atha`]; About a man who had sex with his wife while she was menstruating, he said: "She must give charity with one dinar." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 34th Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing يَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَيَتَصَدَّقُ بِخُمُسَيْ دِينَارٍ. Has reported to us [Wahab bin Sa'id] from [Syu'aib bin Ishaq] from [Al 'Auza'i] About a man having sex with his wife while she is menstruating, or she sees (signs of) purity and she has not bathed (hadats), he said: "He must ask Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala for forgiveness and give charity with one-fifth of a dinar." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 35th Hadith.
