Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُم God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِمَا أَمَرَ بِهِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ قَهَ God willing صَالِحًا إِنِّي بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌ} وَقَالَ God willing رَزَقْنَاكُمْ } قَالَ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ الرَِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَا رَبِّ وَمَطْعَمُهُ حَرَامٌ وَمَلْبَسُهُ حَرَامٌ God bless you يُسْتَجَابُ لِذَلِكَ. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Fudlail bin Marzuq] has told us [Adi bin Thabit] from [Abu Hazim] from [Abu Hurairah] he said; Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "O people, verily Allah is the Goodest, accepting nothing but what is good. Verily Allah has commanded the believers what He commanded the messengers. Allah said: (O messengers, eat from good food and do good deeds. Indeed, I am All-Knowing of what you do). Allah also said: (O you who believe, eat from the good fortune you have provided. good things that We have given you)." He said; Then he mentioned a man who had gone on a long journey with matted and dusty hair, he raised his hands to the sky; My Lord, my Lord, while his food is haram, his clothes are haram, his drink is haram and he grows up with haram food, then how can his prayers be answered? (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 2nd hadith. God willing God willing مَوَلَةَ عَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings مِنْ الدُّنْيَا خَادِمٌ وَمَرْكَبٌ. Has told us ['Affan] has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Al Jurairi] from [Abu An Nadlrah] from [Abdullah bin Mawalah] from [Buraidah Al Aslami] he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The world (favors) is enough for one of you, namely a servant and a vehicle." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 3rd Hadith. God willing عَنْ بَيَانٍ هُوَ ابْنُ بِشْرٍ الْأَحْمَسِيُّ عَنْ قَيْسٍ عَنْ God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَيَبْقَى حُثَالَةٌ كَحُثَالَةِ الشَّعِيرِ. Has told us [Sa'id bin Manshur] has told us [Abu 'Awanah] from [Bayan] he is Ibn Bisyr Al Ahmasi, from [Qais] from [Mirdas Al Aslami] he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The righteous people will go first and the bad people will remain, like bad wheat." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 4th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مِنْ صِيَامِهِ إِلَّا الظَّمَأُ وَكَمْ مِنْ قَائِمٍ لَيْسَ لَهُ مِنْ قِيَامِهِ إِلَّا السَّهَرُ. It has been told to us by [Ishaq bin Isa] from [Abdurrahman bin Abu Az Zinad] from [Amr bin Abu Amr] from [Sa'id bin Al Maqburi] from [Abu Hurairah] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "How many people fast, but they do not get anything from their fast except thirst. How many people worship at night, but they do not get anything from their worship other than just staying up late." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 5th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهَ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ الصَّلَاةَ يَوْمًا فَقَالَ مَنْ حَافَظَ عَلَيْهَا كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًو مِنْ النَّارِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُحَافِظْ God willing God bless you وَفِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ وَأُبَيِّ بْنِ خَلَفٍ. Has told us [Abdullah bin Yazid] has told us [Sa'id] he is Ibn Abu Ayyub, he said; It has been told to me by [Ka'ab bin 'Alqamah] from [Isa bin Hilal Ash Shadafi] from [Abdullah bin Amr] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam that one day he mentioned prayer. He said: "Whoever keeps it (prayer) will be a light, proof and salvation for him from hell on the Day of Judgment. Whoever does not keep it (prayer) will not be a light, nor will he be a light, nor salvation and proof for him, and on the Day of Judgment, he will be with Qarun, Fir'aun, Haman and Ubay bin Khalaf." God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْن God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing اللَّهُ عَلَيْهْ اللَّيْلِ حَتَّى قَالَ وَلَوْ رَكْعَةً. Having informed us [Abdullah bin Salih] he said; Having told me [Laits] he said; It has been told to me [Ibn 'Ajlan] from [Husain bin Abdullah bin Ubaidullah bin Abbas] from [Ikrimah] from [Ibn Abbas] that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) strongly recommended night prayers until he said: "Even if it is only one rak'ah." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 7th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهَ فَقَالَ أَيْنَ أَنْتَ عَنْ الِاسْتِغْفَاِ لَأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ قَالَ God bless you God willing God willing مَرَّةٍ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yusuf] has told us [Isra`il] has told us [Abu Ishaq] from [Ubaid bin Amr Abu Al Mughirah] from [Hudzaifah] he said; My tongue is sharp towards my family, but not towards other people. Then I asked the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he asked: "Why don't you make istighfar (ask for forgiveness from Allah)? In fact, I make istighfar (ask for forgiveness from Allah) a hundred times every day." Abu Ishaq said; I also told the hadith to [Abu Buradah] and [Abu Bakr], both of whom were sons of Abu Musa, they said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "I ask Allah for forgiveness every day a hundred times, I always ask Allah for forgiveness and repent to Him." God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing قَرَأَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing أَهْلٌ أَنْ أَغْفِرَ لَهَ It has been told to us by [Al Hakam bin Al Mubarak] from [Salm bin Qutaibah] from [Suhail Al Qutha'i] from [Tsabit] from [Anas] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam that he read: (It is Rabb who deserves (us) to be devoted to Him and has the right to forgive). He said: "Your Rabb said: (I am the Rabb who has the right to be obeyed. Whoever has piety to Me, then I am the Rabb who has the right to forgive him." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 9th Hadith. God bless you عَنْ كَهْمَسِ بْنِ الْحَسَنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind وَسَم لَكَفَتْهُمْ { وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا }. Has told us [Uthman bin Muhammad] has told us [Mu'tamir] from [Kahmas bin Al Hasan] from [Abu As Salil] from [Abu Dzarr] he said; Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed, I know a verse that if people take it, it will certainly be sufficient for them, namely (Whoever is devoted to Allah, He will surely provide for him a way out)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 10th Hadith. God bless you God bless you عَبْدِ اللَّهْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَمُحَقَّرَاتِ الذُّنُوبِ فَإِنَّ لَهَا مِنْ اللَّهِ طَالِبًا. Has told us [Mansur bin Salamah] has told us [Sa'id] he is Ibn Muslim bin Banak, from [Malik] from [Amir bin Abdullah bin Az Zubair] from ['Auf bin Al Harith] from [Aisyah] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said to me: "O Aisha, be afraid of small sins, because small sins will be held accountable before Allah." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 11th Hadith. God willing God bless you قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ God willing التَّوَّابُونَ. Has told us [Muslim bin Ibrahim] has told us [Ali bin Mas'adah Al Bahili] has told us [Qatadah] from [Anas] he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Every child and grandson of Adam makes a mistake and the best person who makes a mistake is the one who repents." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 12th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَقَالَ تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ وَمَعَهُ رَاحِلَتُهُ عَلَيْهَا God bless you فَعَلَا شَرَفًا فَلَمْ يَرَ شَيْئًا ثُمَّ عَلَا شَرَفًا فَلَمْ يَرَ شَيْئًا ثُمَّ عَلَا شَرَفًا فَلَمْ يَرَ شَيْئًا قَالَ فَالْتَفَتَ فَإِذَا هُوَ بِهَا تَجُرُّ خِطَامَهَا فَمَا هُوَ Allah's blessings تَابَ إِلَيْهِ. Has told us [An Nadlr bin Syumail] has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Simak bin Harb] from [An Nu'man] he is Ibn Basyir, that he heard him say; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Once there was a traveler in a barren land. Then he slept under a tree. At that time he was carrying a riding animal containing his supplies and food. When he woke up, his riding animal was gone. He climbed to a high place, but he saw nothing. Then he climbed to another high place, and he did not see anything. Then he went back up to a high place, and he did not see anything." He continued: "After that he turned around and found that the animal was there, and was pulling on his reins. His joy at that time did not exceed Allah's joy because of His repentance, when he repented to him." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 13th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عَبْدِ اللَّهْ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطًّا مُرَبَّعًا ثُمَِ وَسَطَهُ خَطًّا ثُمَّ خَطَّ حَوْلَهُ خُطُوطًا وَخَطَّ خَطًّا God willing God willing God bless you الْآخَرُ وَهَذَا الْأَمَلُ لِلْخَطِّ الْخَارِجِ. Having told us [Musaddad] had told us [Yahya] from [Sufyan] from [his father] from [Abu Ya'la] from [Ar Rabi' bin Khutsaim] from [Abdullah] he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam once drew us a rectangular line. Then he made a line in the middle, then made several lines around it and made a line outside the center line. He also said: "This is humans, namely the middle line, this is the death that surrounds them. These are the things that will happen (to humans, in the form of bala', tests and trials while in the world) on these lines. If one line is not hit, they will be bitten (hit by) another line (bala' and the trials will always come and go without stopping). And this is hope, namely the line that is outside." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 14th Hadith. God willing الْمُبَارَكْ God willing مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الْمَالِ وَالشَّرَفِ لِدِينِهِ. Has told us [Abu An Nu'man] has told us [Abdullah bin Al Mubarak] from [Zakariya] from [Muhammad bin Abdurrahman bin Sa'd bin Zurarah] from [Ibnu Ka'ab bin Malik] from [his father] he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Two hungry wolves released in a flock of goats are no more destructive than a person's greed for wealth and the glory of his religion." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 15th Hadith. God willing God willing أَبِي النَّضْرْ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. فَلْيَظُنَّ بِي مَا شَاءَ. Has told us [Abu Nu'man] has told us [Abdullah bin Al Mubarak] has told us [Hisyam bin Al Ghazi] from [Hayyan Abu An Nadlr] from [Watsilah bin Al Asqa'] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Allah Tabaraka wa Ta'ala said: I depend on the suspicion of My servant towards Me, therefore, suspect to Me with anything you desire." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 16th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى { وَأَنْذِرْ God willing God willing God willing مِنْ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا يَا عَبَّاسُ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْمُطَلِّبِ لَا God willing God willing God bless you عَنْكِ مِنْ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا. Has told us [Al Hakam bin Nafi'] from [Syu'aib] from [Az Zuhri] he said; It has been reported to us [Sa'id bin Al Musayyab] and [Abu Salamah bin Abdurrahman] that [Abu Hurairah] said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam stood up when Allah revealed the verse: (And give a warning to your closest relatives). Then he said: "O people of Quraysh, sell yourselves from Allah's torment, because I cannot save you one bit from Allah's torment. O Banu Abdu Manaf, I cannot save you one bit from Allah's torment. O Abbas bin Abdul Muthallib, I cannot save you one bit from Allah's torment. O Shafiyyah aunt Rasulullah, I cannot save you one bit from Allah's torment. O Fatima bintu Muhammad, ask me what you want, because I cannot save you one bit from Allah's punishment." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 17th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الْأَحْوَصْ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَارِبُوا وَسَدِّدُوا وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ أَحَدًا مِنْكُمْ لَنْ يُنْجِيَهُ عَمَلُهُ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلَا أَنْتَ قَالَ وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِيَ اللَّهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِنْهُ وَفَضْلٍ. Has told us [Al Hasan bin Ar Rabi'] has told us [Abu Al Ahwash] from [Al A'masy] from [Abu Sufyan] from [Jabir] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Be moderate, be steadfast in your actions and words, know that none of you will be saved by his actions." They said; O Messenger of Allah, neither do you? He answered: "Not even me, it's just that Allah has given me His mercy and grace." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 18th Hadith. God bless you God willing عَبْدِ اللَّهْ God willing love قَالُوا وَإِيَّاكَ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَإِيَّايَ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ God willing النَّاسِ مَنْ يَقُولُ أَسْلَمَ اسْتَسْلَمَ يَقُولُ ذَلَّ. Having reported to us [Muhammad bin Yusuf] from [Sufyan] from [Mansur] from [Salim bin Abu Al Ja'd] from [his father] from [Abdullah] he said; Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "There is not one of you unless he is accompanied by a qarin (companion) from the jinn and a qarin from the angels." They ask; Also with you? He replied: "Yes, so did I, but Allah helped me to defeat him, so that he converted to Islam." Abu Muhammad said; There are people who say; He converted to Islam and surrendered, he said; He submitted. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 19th hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God willing لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا حَدَّثَنَا God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing هَذَا. Has told us [Abu Al Walid] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Musa bin Anas] from [Anas] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "If you knew what I know, of course you would laugh a little and cry a lot." Has told us ['Affan] has told us [Hammam] has told us [Qatadah] from [Anas] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam like this hadith. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 20th hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. قَدْ أَخْرَجَهَا أَهْلُهَا قَالَ تُرَوْنَ هَذِهِ هَيِّنَةً God bless you أَهْوَنُ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ عَلَى أَهْلِهَا. It has been reported to us [Hajjaj] has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Abu Al Muhazzim] from [Abu Hurairah] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam passed by the carcass of a rotten goat that had been thrown away by its owner. He said: "Do you think this carcass is despicable to its owner?" They answered; Yes. He said: "By Allah, indeed the world is more despicable in the sight of Allah than this carcass is to its owner." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 21st Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ إِيمَانٌ بِاللَّهِ وَجِهَادٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ. Has told us [Ja'far bin 'Aun] has told us [Hisyam bin Urwah] from [his father] from [Abu Al Murawih] from [Abu Dzarr] he said; Someone asked the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said; What is the most important charity? He answered: "Believe in Allah and strive for jihad fi sabilillah." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 22nd Hadith. God bless you God willing يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَفْضَلُ الْأَعْمَالِ عِنْدَ اللَّهَ God bless you الْأَنْصَارِ. Has told us [Yazid bin Harun] has told us [Hisyam] from [Yahya] from [Abu Ja'far] that he heard [Abu Hurairah] say; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The most important deed in the sight of Allah is faith which is not accompanied by doubt." Abu Muhammad said; Abu Ja'far was from the Ansar. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 23rd Hadith. Allah's blessings قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يُمِنُ يُحِبَّ لِأَخِيهِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ. Has reported to us [Yazid bin Harun] has reported to us [Syu'bah] from [Qatadah] from [Anas] he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "None of you is perfect in faith until he loves his brother as he loves himself." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 24th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْن7 قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you وَالِدِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ. It has been reported to us that [Yazid bin Harun] and [Hasyim bin Al Qasim] both said; Having told us [Syu'bah] from [Qatadah] from [Anas] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "None of you is perfect in faith until I become the person he loves most than his parents, children and all mankind." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 25th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing وَحَسُنَ عَمَلُهُ قَالَ فَأَيُّ النَّاسِ شَرٌّ قَالَ مَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Zuhair] from [Ali bin Zaid bin Jud'an] from [Abdurrahman bin Abu Bakrah] from [Abu Bakrah] that someone said; O Messenger of Allah, who is the best human being? He answered: "People who live long and have good deeds." The person asked again; Who is the most despicable human being? He answered: "People who live long and whose deeds are bad." Has told us [Hajjaj] has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Ali bin Zaid] with a similar sanad. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 26th Hadith. God willing God willing عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ دُرَيْكٍ عَنْ ابْنْ لِأَبِي جُمُعَةَ رَجُلٍ مِنْ الصَّحَابَةِ حَدِّثْنَا حَدِيثًا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ نَعَمْ أُحَدِّثُكَ حَدِيثًا جَيِّدًا God willing وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَحَدٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَّا أَسْلَمْنَا وَجَاهَدْنَا مَعَكَ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَوْمٌ يَكُونُونَ مِنْ بَعْدِكُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِي وَلَمْ يَرَوْنِي. Having informed us [Abu Al Mughirah] he said; Has told us [Al Auza'i] has told us [Asid bin Abdurrahman] from [Khalid bin Duraik] from [Ibnu Muhairiz] he said; I asked [Abu Jumu'ah], he was a friend; Tell me a hadith that you heard from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. He said; OK, I will tell you a good hadith. We once had lunch with Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, we were with Abu Ubaidah bin Al Jarrah. At that time Abu Ubaidah said; O Messenger of Allah, is there anyone better than us who has converted to Islam and fought jihad with you? He said: 'Yes, namely those who live after you. Hadits ke-38. أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ وَمَنْ كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ كَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ أَوْ بَعْضُ أَزْوَاجِهِ إِنَّا لَنَكْرَهُ الْمَوْتَ قَالَ لَيْسَ ذَلِكَ وَلَكِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ إِذَا حَضَرَهُ الْمَوْتُ بُشِّرَ بِرِضْوَانِ اللَّهِ وَكَرَامَتِهِ فَلَيْسَ شَيْءٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِمَّا أَمَامَهُ فَأَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ وَأَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ وَإِنَّ الْكَافِرَ إِذَا حَضَرَهُ الْمَوْتُ بُشِّرَ بِعَذَابِ اللَّهِ وَعُقُوبَتِهِ فَلَيْسَ شَيْءٌ أَكْرَهَ إِلَيْهِ مِمَّا أَمَامَهُ فَكَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ وَكَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ. Dan barangsiapa benci berjumpa dengan Allah maka Allah pun benci berjumpa dengannya." Aisyah atau salah seorang dari isteri-isteri beliau berkata; Sesungguhnya kami tidak suka mati. Beliau bersabda: "Bukan seperti itu, tetapi jika kematian telah menghampiri orang mukmin maka ia diberi kabar gembira dengan ridla Allah dan kemuliaanNya. Tidak ada sesuatu yang paling ia sukai dari pada apa yang ada di hadapannya. Oleh karena itu ia suka berjumpa Alah dan Allah pun suka berjumpa dengannya. Sedangkan jika kematian telah menghampiri orang kafir maka ia diberi kabar gembira tentang adzab Allah dan siksaanNya. Maka tidak ada sesuatu yang paling dibencinya dari pada apa yang ada di hadapannya. Oleh karena itu ia tidak suka berjumpa Allah dan Allah pun tidak suka berjumpa dengannya." (Derajat: shahih.
