Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing كَهَاتَيْنِ وَأَشَارَ وَهْبٌ بِالسَّبَّاحَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى. Has told us [Wahab bin Jarir] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Abu At Tayyah] from [Anas] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "The distance between the day I was sent and the Day of Judgment is like between these two." Wahab gestured with his index and middle fingers. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 2nd hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَفَّيْتُمْ سَبْعِينَ أُمَّةً أَنْتُمْ آخِرُهَا وَأَكْرَمُهَا عَلَى اللَّهِ. Has told us [An Nadlr bin Syumail] has told us [Bahz bin Hakim] from [his father] from [his grandfather] he said; I heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Indeed you have perfected seventy people. You are the last and most noble people in the sight of Allah." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 3rd Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God bless you وَإِنَّهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَيْسَ قَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا قَالُوا بَلَى قَالَ God willing اعْمَلُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ فَقَدْ غَفَرْتُ لَكُمْ. Has told us [Amr bin 'Ashim] has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] from ['Ashim] from [Abu Salih] from [Abu Hurairah] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam asked: "Where is so and so?" Then one of his friends criticized him; In fact, it is like this and like that. The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam asked: "Didn't he take part in the battle of Badr?" They answered; Correct. He said: "May Allah meet Ahlu Badr, He has said: (Do what you like, because I have forgiven you) " (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 4th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing بِنَوْءِ مِجْدَحٍ قَالَ الْمِجْدَحُ كَوْكَبٌ. Having told us ['Affan] has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] he said; It has been reported to us [Amr bin Dinar] from ['Attab bin Hunain] from [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If Allah had withheld raindrops from my Ummah for ten years and then sent it down, there would have been a group of my Ummah who disbelieved in it. They said: The rain fell because of the Mijdah star." Abu Sa'id Al Khudri said; Mijdah is the name of one of the stars. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 5th Hadith. Has informed us [Amr bin 'Aun] has informed us [Khalid bin Abdullah] from [Washil] the former slave of Abu Uyainah from [Basysyar bin Abu Saif] from [Al Walid bin Abdurrahman] from ['Iyadl bin Ghuthaif] he said; We once visited [Abu Ubaidah bin Al Jarrah] when he was sick, then he said; I heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "One good deed is rewarded with ten similar good deeds." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 6th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الرُّكَيْنِ عَنا وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ عَنْ عَمَّارٍ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing كَانَ ذَا وَجْهَيْنِ فِي الدُّنْيَا كَانَ لَهُ يَوْمَ God. Has told us [Al Aswad bin Amir] has told us [Sharik] from [Rukain] from [Nu'aim bin Hanzhalah], [Sharik] said; It is possible that [An Nu'man bin Hanzhalah] said; From [Ammar] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Whoever has two faces (two-faced, hypocritical) while in the world, then on the Day of Resurrection he will have two tongues of hell fire." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 7th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَِ God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. زَكَاةً وَرَحْمَةً. Has told us [Mu'alla bin Asad] has told us [Abdul Wahid bin Ziyad] has told us [Al A'masy] from [Abu Salih] from [Abu Hurairah] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "O Allah, indeed I am an ordinary human being. Therefore, anyone from the muslimin people whom I have cursed, blamed, or suffered, let it be a shalawat (prayer), mercy and worship that can bring them closer to You on the Day of Judgment." It has been told to us by [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Numair] from [his father] from [Al A'masy] from [Abu Sufyan] from [Jabir] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam like that hadith, only it contains the words zakat and mercy. God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you لِي ذَهَبًا أَمُوتُ يَوْمَ أَمُوتُ عِنْدِي دِينَارٌ أَوْ نِصْفُ دِينَارٍ إِلَّا لِغَرِيمٍ. Has told us [Sulaiman bin Harb] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Amr bin Murrah] he said; I heard [Suwaid bin Al Harith] from [Abu Dzar] he said; I heard Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "How happy I would be if Mount Uhud became gold for me, if I died on the day I died, while I only had one dinar or half a dinar which (I gave) to people who were in debt." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 9th Hadith. God bless you قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ هُوَ ابْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ أُمُورًا هِيَ أَدَقُّ فِي God willing رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّّ الْمُوبِقَاتْ فَقَالَ صَدَقَ فَأَرَى جَرَّ الْإِزَارِ مِنْ ذَلِكَ. It has been told to us that [Muhammad bin Al Fadlal] and [Sulaiman bin Harb] both said; Having told us [Hammad] he was Ibn Zaid, he said; Having told us [Ayyub] from [Humaid bin Hilal] from [Ubadah bin Qurth] he said; In fact, you will commit deeds that are smaller than a hair in your eyes, which we, at the time of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, considered to be major sins. When this was mentioned to Muhammad, namely Ibn Sirin, he replied; That's right, and in my opinion, one of them is sticking out the sarong (Isbal). (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 10th Hadith. God bless you عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهَ God willing فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ. Having told us [Muhammad bin Yusuf] from [Sufyan] from [his father] from ['Abayah bin Rifa'ah] from [Rafi' bin Khadij] he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Fever comes from the heat of hell fire." Or: "The flames of hell, therefore cool it with water." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 11th Hadith. Allah's blessings عَلْقَمَةَ بْنْ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings الْمُسْلِمِينَ يُصَاب0 God bless you لِعَبْدِي فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ مِثْلَ مَا كَانَ يَعْمَلُ مِنْ الْخَيْرِ مَا كَانَ مَحْبُوسًا فِي وِثَاقِي. Has told us [Yazid bin Harun] has told us [Sufyan] from ['Alqamah bin Martsad] from [Al Qasim bin Mukhaimirah] from [Abdullah bin Amr] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "None of the people of muslimin suffers a disaster on his body unless Allah orders the guardian angels who guard him. He said: Write for My servant every day and night the good things he usually does, as long as he is bound by My bonds (sick or in difficult conditions)." (Degree: authentic. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. عَبْدِ اللَّهْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God عَلَيْهْ وَعْكًا شَدِيدًا فَقَالَ إِنِّي أُوعَكُ كَمَا يُوعَكُ رَجُلَانِ مِنْكُمْ قَالَ قُلْتُ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَِ قَالَ أَجَلْ وَمَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يُصِيبُهُ أَذًى مَرَضٌ فَمَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الشَّجَرَةُ وَرَقَهَا. Has told us [Ya'la bin Ubaid] has told us [Al A'masy] from [Ibrahim At Taimi] from [Al Harith bin Suwaid] from [Abdullah] he said; I entered the house of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, at that time he was sick, then I put my hand on him. I also said; O Messenger of Allah, are you seriously ill and have a high fever? Then he answered: "Indeed, I experienced pain like the pain experienced by two of you." I asked; Is that because you got two rewards? He answered: "It is true, no one muslim suffers from one disease or another, except that his mistakes will be erased like the leaves that fall from a tree." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 13th Hadith. God willing جَعْفَرٍ الْمَدَنِيُِ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وَاحِدَةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا. Has told us [Yahya bin Hassan] has told us [Isma'il bin Ja'far Al Madani] from [Al 'Ala` bin Abdurrahman] from [his father] from [Abu Hurairah] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever recites blessings on me once, Allah will repay his blessings ten times." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 14th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing قَالَ جَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا وَهُوَ يُرَى الْبِشْرُ فِي وَجْهِهِ فَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهْ نَرَاهُ قَالَ أَجَلْ إِنَّ مَلَكًا أَتَانِي فَقَالَ لِي يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقُولُ لَكَ أَمَا يُرْضِيكَ أَنْ لَا God bless you God willing عَلَيْهِ عَْرًا قَالَ قُلْتُ بَلَى. Has told us [Sulaiman bin Harb] has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Thabit] from [Sulaiman] former slave Al Hasan bin Ali] from [Abdullah bin Abu Thalhah] from [his father] he said; One day the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam came with a radiant face, then said; O Messenger of Allah, indeed we see happiness on your face that we have never seen before. He answered: "Indeed, an angel came to me and said to me: O Muhammad, indeed your Rabb said: Aren't you happy that no one from one of your people prays for you, unless I pray for him ten times and he does not say salawat once to you unless I say salawat to him ten times? He said; So I answered: Of course." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 15th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدَ عَبْدِ اللَّهْ اللَّهِ بْنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing السَّلَامَ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yusuf] has told us [Sufyan] from [Abdullah bin As Sa`ib] from [Zadzan] from [Abdullah bin Mas'ud] he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed, Allah has several angels who always walk the earth to convey to me greetings from my people." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 16th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing رَسُولَ اللَّهْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الْعَاقِبُ وَالْعَاقِبُ الَّذِي لَيْسَ بَعْدَهُ أَحَدٌ. Has informed us [Al Hakam bin Nafi'] has informed us [Syu'aib bin Abu Hamzah] from [Az Zuhri] he said; Having reported to me [Muhammad bin Jubair bin Muth'im] from [his father] he said; I heard Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Indeed I have several names, I am Muhammad, I am Ahmad, I am Al Mahi with whom Allah eradicates disbelief, I am Al Hasyir where people are gathered under my feet and I am Al 'Aqib, Al 'Aqib is a prophet who there was no other prophet after him." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 17th Hadith. God bless you سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنا God willing God willing God willing يَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ لَحْمٌ نَبَتَ مِنْ سُحْتٍ. It has been reported to us [Al Hajjaj bin Minhal] has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] has told us [Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khutsaim] from [Abdurrahman bin Sabith] from [Jabir bin Abdullah] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "O Ka'b bin 'Ujrah, indeed meat that grows from haram food will not enter Paradise." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 18th Hadith. God willing أَسْلَمَ الْبَصْرِيُِ Allah's blessings God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you عَجَبًا مِنْ أَمْرِ الْمُؤْمِنْ God willing God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace الْمُؤْمِنَ. Has told us [Abu Hatim Al Bashri] he is Rauh bin Aslam Al Bashri, has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] has told us [Thabit] from [Abdurrahman bin Abu Laili] from [Shuhaib] he said; When Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam was sitting, he suddenly laughed and said: "Don't you ask me what made me laugh?" They ask; What makes you laugh? He answered: "It is amazing that the things of a believer are all good for him. If something happens to him that he likes, and he praises Allah for it, then it is good for him. If something happens to him that he does not like, and he is patient, then that is good for him. There is no one whose everything is good for him except the believer." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 19th hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهْ كَانَ لِابْنِ آدَمَ وَادِيَانِ مِنْ مَالٍ لَابْتَغَى God willing التُّرَابُ وَيَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ. Has told us [Yazid bin Harun] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Qatadah] from [Anas] he said; I once heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam but I don't know whether something was revealed to him or just something he said, namely he said: "If Adam's children and grandchildren had treasures full of two valleys, they would surely look for a third treasure full of valleys. And something that would fill the cavities of Adam's children is land. Allah accepts repentance from those who repent." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 20th hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَقُصُّ إِلَّا أَمِيرٌ أَوْ مَأْمُورٌ أَوْ مُرَاءٍ قُلْتُ لِعَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ إِنَّا كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ مُتَكَلِّفٌ فَقَالَ هَذَا مَا سَمِعْتُ. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Abdullah bin Amir] from [Amru bin Syu'aib] from [his father] from [his grandfather] he said; Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "No one tells stories except those who rule, those who are ordered or those who do riya`." I said to Amir bin Syu'aib; In fact, we have heard of editorials; mutakallif (a person who likes to make up useless things). Then he said; this is what i heard. (Degree: authentic. God bless you God willing مَيْسَرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ كُرْدُوسًو God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مَجْلِسٍ يَعْنِي قَالَ كَانَ حِينَئِذٍ يَقُصُّ قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد الرَّجُلُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ بَدْرٍ هُوَ عَلِيٌّ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Al 'Ala`] has told us [Yahya bin Abu Bukair] from [Syu'bah] from [Abdul Malik bin Maisarah] he said; I heard [Kurdus], he is a storyteller, say; It has been reported to me [one of the Badr people] that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: "Indeed, sitting in an assembly like this is more to me than freeing four slaves." He said; I asked; Tell me what assembly he means? He answered; At that time he was telling a story. Abu Muhammad said; The person was from among Badr's friends, namely Ali. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 22nd Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهْ love مَرَّتَيْنِ. Having informed us [Abdullah bin Salih] he said; has told me [Al Laits] he said; Having told us [Uqail] from [Ibn Shihab] he said; has reported to me [Sa'id bin Al Musayyab] that [Abu Hurairah] informed him that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "A believer should not fall into the same hole twice." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 23rd Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ حَدَِ God willing وَرُبَّمَا سَكَتَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings الْمُغِيبَاتِ فَإِنَِ God bless you God. Has told us [Muhammad bin Al 'Ala`] has told us [Abu Usamah] from [Mujalid] from [Amir] from [Jabir] he said; Sometimes silence from [Jabir], he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Do not go in to meet wives whose husbands have left them, because indeed Satan walks in the bodies of Adam's children like blood." They ask; Also in your body? Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Yes, but Allah helped me with it, so I was saved." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 24th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُم عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهْ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you حَتَّى يَمْشِيَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مَا لَهُ خَطِيئَةٌ. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Sufyan] from ['Ashim] from [Mush'ab bin Sa'd] from [Sa'ad] he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was once asked; Who is the person who has the hardest trials? He answered: "The prophets, then the noble people after them (their level of faith is one level below them), and the noble people after them (their level of faith is one level below them). A person will be tested according to the level of his religion. If his religion is strong, then he will become stronger, but if his religion is weak then he will become weaker. Disasters will continue to befall a servant until he walks on this earth without a single prayer for him." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 25th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. قَالَ لَا تُطْرُونِي كَمَا تُطْرِي النَّصَارَى عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَلَكِنْ قُولُوا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولُهُ. It has been reported to us [Uthman bin Umar] has told us [Malik] from [Az Zuhri] from [Ubaidullah] from [Ibn Abbas] from [Umar] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Do not exaggerate in praising me like the Christians who exaggerately praise Isa bin Maryam. But say; Servant of Allah and His Messenger." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 26th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing God willing God willing جُزْءٍ فَأَمْسَكَ عِنْدَهُ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ وَأَنْزَلَ فِي الْأَرْضِ جُزْءًا وَاحِدًا فَمِنْ or God bless you عَنْ وَلَدِهَا خَشْيَةَ أَنْ تُصِيبَهُ. Has told us [Al Hakam bin Nafi] from [Syu'aib] from [Az Zuhri] he said; has reported to me [Sa'id bin Al Musayyab] from [Abu Hurairah] he said; I heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Allah made mercy a hundred parts, but He kept ninety-nine with Him and sent only one part to the earth. From that one part all creatures love each other, even a horse is willing to lift its hooves because it is afraid of stepping on its child." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 27th Hadith. God willing God bless you رَجَاءٍ الْعُطَارِدِيَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّّ يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ رَبِّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing رَحِيمٌ مَنْ هَمَّ بِحَسَنَةٍ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهََ God willing مِائَةٍ إِلَى أَضْعَافٍ كَثِيرَةٍ وَمَنْ هَمَِ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا كُتِبَتْ وَاحِدَةً أَوْ يَمْحُوهَا وَلَا يَهْلِكُ عَلَى God. Has told us ['Affan] has told us [Ja'far bin Sulaiman] has told us [Ja'd Abu Uthman] he said; I heard [Abu Raja` Al 'Utharidi] he said; I heard [Ibn Abbas] from Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam about what he narrated from his Rabb 'azza wajalla. He said; Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed, your Rabb is Most Merciful, whoever intends to do something good and does not do it, then one good thing is written for him and if he does it, ten to seven hundred times more goodness is written for him, even many times as much. And whoever intends to do something evil and does not do it, then one good thing is written for him, but if he does it, one evil is written for him or He will wipe it out. Hadits ke-36. أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَشْهَبِ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ زِيَادٍ عَادَ مَعْقِلَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ مَعْقِلٌ إِنِّي مُحَدِّثُكَ بِحَدِيثٍ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ بِي حَيَاةً مَا حَدَّثْتُكَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَسْتَرْعِيهِ اللَّهُ رَعِيَّةً يَمُوتُ يَوْمَ يَمُوتُ وَهُوَ غَاشٌّ لِرَعِيَّتِهِ إِلَّا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Abu Nu'aim] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Al Asyhab] dari [Al Hasan] bahwa Ubaidullah bin Ziyad mengunjungi Ma'qil bin Yasar ketika sedang sakit yang menyebabkan kematiannya, maka [Ma'qil] berkata kepadanya; Sesungguhnya aku akan menceritakan satu hadits kepadamu yang aku dengar dari Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam; Seandainya aku mengetahui aku masih dapat hidup, aku tidak akan menceritakannya kepadamu. Bahwa aku mendegar Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Tidaklah seorang hamba yang diberikan tanggungjawab oleh Allah sebagai pemimpin lalu ia meninggal dunia pada hari yang telah ditetapkan dalam keadaan menipu rakyatnya, kecuali Allah mengharamkan surga untuknya." Hadits ke-37. حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ أَخْبَرَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي زُرَيْقُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ مَوْلَى بَنِي فَزَارَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مُسْلِمَ بْنَ قَرَظَةَ الْأَشْجَعِيَّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَوْفَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيَّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ خِيَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمْ الَّذِينَ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَكُمْ وَتُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَيُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَشِرَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمْ الَّذِينَ تُبْغِضُونَهُمْ وَيُبْغِضُونَكُمْ وَتَلْعَنُونَهُمْ وَيَلْعَنُونَكُمْ قُلْنَا أَفَلَا نُنَابِذُهُمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ قَالَ لَا مَا أَقَامُوا فِيكُمْ الصَّلَاةَ أَلَا مَنْ وُلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ وَالٍ فَرَآهُ يَأْتِي شَيْئًا مِنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ فَلْيَكْرَهْ مَا يَأْتِي مِنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ وَلَا يَنْزِعَنَّ يَدًا مِنْ طَاعَةٍ قَالَ ابْنُ جَابِرٍ فَقُلْتُ آللَّهِ يَا أَبَا الْمِقْدَامِ أَسَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ قَرَظَةَ فَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ وَجَثَا عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ فَقَالَ آللَّهِ لَسَمِعْتُ هَذَا مِنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ قَرَظَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَمِّي عَوْفَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُهُ. Kami bertanya; Bolehkah kami memerangi mereka, wahai Rasulullah? Beliau menjawab: "Tidak, selama mereka masih mendirikan shalat di antara kalian. Ingatlah, barangsiapa yang mengangkat seseorang sebagai pemimpin lalu ia melihatnya melakukan kemaksiatan kepada Allah maka hendaklah ia membenci apa yang ia lakukan dari kemasiatan kepada Allah tersebut dan janganlah ia menarik dukungan ketaatan kepadanya." Ibnu Jabir berkata; Aku berkata; Demi Allah, wahai Abu Al Miqdam, apakah engkau mendengar hadits ini dari Muslim bin Qarazhah? Ia pun menghadap kiblat dan bersila lalu ia berkata; Demi Allah, aku mendengar hadits ini dari Muslim bin Qarazhah ia berkata; Aku mendengar pamanku 'Auf bin Malik berkata; Aku mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam mengatakannya.
