Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing God willing God bless you أَجْزَاءٍ فَجَعَلَ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ. Has told us [Abu Al Mughirah] has told us [Shafwan] has told us [Iyas Al Bikali] from [Nauf Al Bikali] he said; Indeed, Allah has divided the Qur'an into three parts, then He made QUL HUWALLAHU AHAD (Surat Al Ikhlas) one third of the Qur'an. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 2nd hadith. God willing God willing الْمُسَيَّبْ God bless you عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ بُنِيَ لَهُ بِهَا قَصْرٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَمَنْ قَرَأَ عِشْرِينَ مَرَّةً بُنِيَ لَهُ بِهَا قَصْرَانِ فِي God willing God willing God willing لَتَكْثُرَنَّ قُصُورُنَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهْ God bless you أَنَّهُ كَانَ مِنْ الْأَبْدَالِ. Has told us [Abdullah bin Yazid] has told us [Haiwah] he said; has informed me [Abu 'Aqil] that he heard [Sa'id bin Al Musayyab] say; Indeed, Nabiyullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam once said: "Whoever reads QUL HUWALLAHU AHAD (Surah Al Ikhlas) ten times, a palace will certainly be built for him in heaven, whoever reads it twenty times, two palaces will certainly be built for him in heaven and whoever reads it thirty times, three palaces will certainly be built for him in heaven." Then Umar bin Al Khaththab asked; By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, can we increase our palaces then? Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam answered: "Allah's riches are greater than that." Abu Muhammad said; Abu 'Aqil was Zuhrah bin Ma'bad and they considered him to be abdal. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 3rd Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَخَتَمَهَا أَتْبَعَهَا بِقُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ. It has been reported to us [Abu Al Mughirah] from [Utbah bin Dlamrah bin Habib] from [his father] that if he reads a surah and finishes it, then he always accompanies it by reading QUL HUWALLAHU AHAD (Surat Al Ikhlas). God bless you God bless you أَبِي الْجَعْدْ God willing God willing لَيْلَةٍ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ قَالُوا نَحْنُ أَعْجَزُ وَأَضْعَفُ God bless you أَجْزَاءٍ فَجَعَلَ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ. Has told us [Muslim bin Ibrahim] from [Aban bin Yazid Al 'Aththar] has told us [Qatadah] from [Salim bin Abu Al Ja'd] from [Ma'dan bin Abu Talhah] from [Abu Ad Darda`] he said; Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam asked: "Is one of you unable to read a third of the Qur'an at night?" They answered; We are unable and weaker to do that. So he said: "Indeed, Allah divided the Qur'an into three parts, so He made QUL HUWALLAHU AHAD (Surat Al Ikhlas) one third of the Qur'an." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 5th Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَقُولُ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ تَعْدِلُ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] from [Ibrahim bin Isma'il bin Mujammi'] he said; It has been reported to me [Ibnu Shihab] that [Humaid bin Abdurrahman] told him that [Abu Hurairah] once said; QUL HUWALLAHU AHAD (Surah Al Ikhlas) equals one third of the Qur'an. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 6th Hadith. God willing مُطِيعٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قُلْ may Allah bless him and give him peace God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عَنْ زِرٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مِثْلَهُ. Having reported to us [Al Mu'alla bin Asad] from [Sallam bin Abu Muthi'] from ['Ashim] from [Zirr] from [Abdullah] he said; QUL HUWALLAHU AHAD (Surah Al Ikhlas) equals one third of the Qur'an. Has told us [Amr bin 'Ashim] from [Hammad bin Salamah] from ['Ashim] from [Zirr] from [Abdullah] like that. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 7th Hadith. God willing فَضَالَةَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّ هَذِهِ السُّورَةَ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَسَلَّمَ حُبُّكَ إِيَّاهَا أَدْخَلَكَ الْجَنَّةَ. Has told us [Yazid bin Harun] has told us [Mubarak bin Fadlalah] has told us [Thabit] from [Anas] that someone said; By Allah, I truly love this letter: QUL HUWALLAHU AHAD (Surah Al Ikhlas). So the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Your love for him (Surah Al Ikhlas) will enter you into heaven." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 8th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنْ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ فَقَالَ ثُلُثُ God. Has told us [Abdullah bin Maslamah] has told us [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Muslim] from [Muhammad bin Syihab] from [Humaid bin Abdurrahman] from [his mother] that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam was once asked about QUL HUWALLAHU AHAD (Surat Al Ikhlas), he answered: "(Its position is) one third of the Qur'an or equal to it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 9th Hadith. God willing God willing عَمْرِو بْنّ God willing God bless you رَسُولُ اللَّهْ God willing God willing God willing فَأَشْفَقْنَا أَنْ يُرِيدَنَا عَلَى أَمْرٍ نَعْجِزُ عَنْهُ فَلَمْ نَرْجِعْ إِلَيْهِ شَيْئًا حَتَّى قَالَهَا ثَلَاثَ God bless you يَقْرَأَ اللَّهُ الْوَاحِدُ الصَّمَدُ. Has told us [Ubaidullah bin Musa] from [Isra`il] from [Mansur] from [Hilal] from [Ar Rabi' bin Khutsaim] from [Amr bin Maimun] from [Abdurrahman bin Abu Laila] from [an Ansar woman] from [Abu Ayyub], he said; By meeting the woman, he said; Would you like to be shown something brought by the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam? The woman answered; How much goodness did Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam bring to us, what is it? He answered; He said to us: "Is one of you unable to read a third of the Qur'an at night?" He continued; So we asked for mercy if he wanted us to carry out orders that we were unable to carry out, but we didn't answer the question at all until he said it three times. Then he said: "Is there not one of you who is able to read QUL HUWALLAHU AHAD ALLAAHUSH SHAMMAD (Surah Al Ikhlas)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 10th Hadith. God bless you مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَطَّارِ عَنْ أُمِّ كَثِيرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings أَحَدٌ خَمْسِينَ مَرَّةً غَفَرَ المْسِينُ سَنَةً. Has told us [Nashr bin Ali] from [Nuh bin Qais] from [Muhammad Al 'Aththar] from [Ummu Katsir Al Anshariyah] from [Anas bin Malik] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever reads QUL HUWALLAHU AHAD (Surah Al Ikhlas) fifty times, Allah will surely forgive his sins for fifty years." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 11th Hadith. God willing وَابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ قَالَا سَمِعْنَا يَزِيدَ بْنَ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing رَسُولُ اللَّهْ إِنَّكَ لَنْ تَقْرَأَ مِنْ الْقُرْآنِ سُورَةً أَحَبَّ إِلَى may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings الْفَلَقِ قَالَ يَزِيدَ يَدَعُهَا كَانَ لَا يَزَالُ يَقْرَؤُهَا فِي صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ. Has told us [Abdullah bin Yazid] has told us [Haiwah] and [Ibn Lahi'ah] both said; We heard [Yazid bin Abu Habib] say; Has told me [Abu Imran] that he heard [Uqbah bin Amir] say; I once held the feet of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and then I said; O Messenger of Allah, read to me Surah Hud and Surah Yusuf. Then Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said to me; "O Uqbah, indeed you will never read a letter from the Qur'an that is more beloved by Allah and more useful in His sight than QUL A'UUDZU BI RABBIL FALAQ (Surah Al Falaq)." Yazid said; Abu Imran never left it, he always read it during the Maghrib prayer. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 12th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدْ God willing God bless you يَا عُقْبَةُ فَقُلْتُ أَيَّ شَيْءٍ أَقُولُ قَالَ فَسَكَتَ God willing أَقُولُ قَالَ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ فَقَرَأْتُهَا may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَلَا اسْتَعَاذَ مُسْتَعِيذٌ بِمِثْلِهَا. Has told us [Ahmad bin Abdullah] has told us [Laits] from [Ibn 'Ajlan] from [Sa'id bin Abu Sa'id Al Maqburi] that [Uqbah bin Amir] said; I once walked with the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, then he said to me: "Read, O Uqbah." I also asked; What should I read? He said; Then he was silent and didn't answer me. Then he said: "O Uqbah, read." I asked: What should I read? He answered: "(Read) QUL A'UDZU BIRABBIL FALAQ (Surah Al Falaq)." So I read it until the end of the letter. Then, at that time the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The request of the person who asks and the protection of the person who asks for protection is not the same as the person who asks and takes refuge by reading it (reading Surah Al Falaq)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 13th Hadith. God willing God willing رَسُولُ اللَّهْ Allah's blessings يَعْنِي الْمُعَوِّذَتَيْنِ. Has told us [Ya'la] has told us [Isma'il] he is Ibn Abu Khalid, from [Qais] from [Uqbah bin Amir] he said; Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said; "Indeed, several verses have been revealed to me that I have never seen." Or: "It was never shown like that, namely mu'awwidzatain." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 14th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing تَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ قَالَ مَنْ قَرَأَ عَشْرَ آيَاتٍ فِي لَيْلَةٍ لَمْ يُكْتَبْ مِنْ الْغَافِلِينَ. Has told us [Yahya bin Bistham] from [Yahya bin Hamzah] has told me [Yahya bin Al Harith] from [Al Qasim Abu Abdurrahman] from [Tamim Ad Dari], replaced by the historical line, has told me [Uthman bin Muslim] from [Al Abbas bin Maimun] from [Tamim Ad Dari] said; Whoever recites ten verses at night will not be counted as one of the heedless people. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 15th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing Allah's blessings God willing كُتِبَ مِنْ الْمُصَلِّينَ. Has told us [Yahya bin Bistham] from [Yahya bin Hamzah] has told me [Yahya bin Al Harith] from [Al Qasim Abu Abdurrahman] from [Tamim Ad Dari] and [Fadlalah bin Ubaid] said; Whoever recites ten verses at night will be counted among those who pray. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 16th Hadith. God willing عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَِ الْقُرَظِيِّ عَنْ ابْنْ بِعَشْرِ آيَاتٍ لَمْ يُكْتَبْ مِنْ الْغَافِلِينَ. Has told us [Isma'il bin Aban] has told us [Abu Uwais] from [Musa bin Uqbah] from [Muhammad bin Ka'b Al Qurazhi] from [Ibn Umar] he said; Whoever recites ten verses at night will not be counted among those who are heedless. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 17th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الْجَدَلِيِّ عَنْ ابْنْ بِعَشْرِ آيَاتٍ لَمْ يُكْتَبْ مِنْ الْغَافِلِينَ. Has told us [Malik bin Isma'il] has told us [Isra`il] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Al Mughirah bin Abdullah Al Jadali] from [Ibn Umar] he said; Whoever recites ten verses at night will not be counted among those who are heedless. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 18th Hadith. God bless you إِسْحَقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصْ قَرَأَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ بِخَمْسِينَ آيَةً لَمْ يُكْتَبْ مِنْ الْغَافِلِينَ. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Fithr] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Abu Al Ahwash] from [Abdullah] he said; Whoever recites fifty verses at night will not be counted among those who are heedless. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 19th hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing Allah's blessings God willing كُتِبَ مِنْ الْحَافِظِينَ. Has told us [Yahya bin Bistham] has told us [Yahya bin Hamzah] from [Yahya bin Al Harith] from [Al Qasim Abu Abdurrahman] from [Tamim Ad Dari] and [Fadlalah bin Ubaid] both said; Whoever recites fifty verses at night is not counted among those who guard. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 20th hadith. God bless you مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ يُحَنَّسَ مَوْلَى الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ سَالِمٍ أَخِي أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاِي God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God bless you God willing قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد مِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَقُولُ مَكَانَ سَالِمٍ رَاشِدُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Al Qasim] has told us [Musa bin Ubaidah] from [Muhammad bin Ibrahim] from [Yuhannas] former slave Az Zubair from [Salim] Umm Ad Darda's brother because Allah from [Ummu Ad Darda`] from [Abu Ad Darda`] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Whoever recites a hundred verses at night, then he is not recorded as belonging to a group careless people." [Abu Muhammad] said; Among them there are those who say; In place of [Salim], [Rashid bin Sa'ad]. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 21st Hadith. God willing عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَِ الْقُرَظِيِّ عَنْ ابْنْ بِمِائَةِ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ مِنْ الْقَانِتِينَ. Has told us [Isma'il bin Aban] has told us [Abu Uwais] from [Musa bin Uqbah] from [Muhammad bin Ka'b Al Qurazhi] from [Ibn Umar] he said; Whoever recites a hundred verses at night will be counted among the obedient people. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 22nd Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مُوسَى عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مَنْ قَرَأَ بِمِائَةِ آيَةٍ فِي لَيْلَةٍ كُتِبَ لَهُ قُنُوتُ لَيْلَةٍ. Has told us [Yahya bin Bistham] has told us [Yahya bin Hamzah] has told me [Zaid bin Waqid] from [Sulaiman bin Musa] from [Katsir bin Murrah] from [Tamim Ad Dari] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever recites a hundred verses at night, it will be recorded for him obedience throughout the night." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) Hadits ke-23. حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ قَالَ قَالَ كَعْبٌ مَنْ قَرَأَ مِائَةَ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ مِنْ الْقَانِتِينَ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ja'far bin 'Aun] dari [Al A'masy] dari [Abu Shalih] ia berkata; [Ka'ab] berkata; Barangsiapa yang membaca seratus ayat, maka ia dicatat termasuk golongan orang-orang yang taat. Hadits ke-24. حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بِسْطَامَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ وَفَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَا مَنْ قَرَأَ بِمِائَةِ آيَةٍ فِي لَيْلَةٍ كُتِبَ مِنْ الْقَانِتِينَ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin Bistham] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin Hamzah] telah menceritakan kepadaku [Yahya bin Al Harits] dari [Al Qasim Abu Abdurrahman] dari [Tamim Ad Dari] dan [Fadlalah bin Ubaid] keduanya berkata; Barangsiapa yang membaca seratus ayat pada malam hari, maka ia dicatat termasuk golongan orang-orang yang taat. Hadits ke-25. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا فِطْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ مَنْ قَرَأَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ بِمِائَةِ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ مِنْ الْقَانِتِينَ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Nu'aim] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Fithr] dari [Abu Ishaq] dari [Abu Al Ahwash] dari [Abdullah] ia berkata; Barangsiapa yang membaca seratus ayat, maka ia dicatat termasuk golongan orang-orang yang taat. Has told us [Al Hakam bin Nafi'] has told us [Hariz bin Uthman] from [Habib bin Ubaid] he said; I heard [Abu Umamah] say; Whoever recites a hundred verses will not be counted among those who are heedless. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 27th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing مَنْ قَرَأَ مِائَتَيْ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ مِنْ الْقَانِتِينَ. Has told us [Al Hakam bin Nafi'] has told us [Hariz] from [Habib bin Ubaid] he said; I heard [Abu Umamah] say; Whoever recites two hundred verses, then he is recorded as belonging to the group of obedient people. God bless you مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ يُحَنَّسَ مَوْلَى الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ سَالِمٍ أَخِي أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاِي God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God bless you مِائَتَيْ آيَةٍ فِي لَيْلَةٍ كُتِبَ مِنْ الْقَانِتِينَ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Al Qasim] has told us [Musa bin Ubaidah] from [Muhammad bin Ibrahim] from [Yuhannas] the former slave of Az Zubair from [Salim] Umm Ad Darda's brother because of Allah, from [Ummu Ad Darda`] from [Abu Ad Darda`] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Whoever recites two hundred verses at night, then he is recorded as belonging to a group obedient people." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 29th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing لَمْ يُكْتَبْ مِنْ الْغَافِلِينَ وَمَنْ قَرَأَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ God willing بِمِائَتَيْ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ مِنْ الْفَائِزِينَ. Has told us [Abu Ghassan] has told us [Isra`il] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Al Mughirah bin Abdullah Al Jadali] from [Ibn Umar] he said; Whoever recites ten verses at night will not be counted among those who are negligent. And whoever reads two hundred verses, then he is recorded as one of the lucky people. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 30th Hadith. God willing God willing God bless you God bless you كُتِبَ مِنْ الْقَانِتِينَ وَمَنْ قَرَأَ بِخَمْسِ مِائَةِ آيَةٍ God bless you وَمَا الْقِنْطَارُ قَالَ مِلْءُ مَسْكِ الثَّوْرِ ذَهَبًا. Has told us [Abu An Nu'man] has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] from [Sa'id Al Jurairi] from [Abu Nadlrah] from [Abu Sa'id Al Hudri] he said; Whoever reads ten verses at night will not be counted among those who perform dhikr, and whoever reads one hundred verses will be recorded as among those who are obedient, and whoever reads five hundred to one thousand verses will get one qinthar of reward in the morning. Asked; How much is one qinthar? He answered; Gold filled with (a container the size of) a bull's skin. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 31st Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace God willing God bless you قَرَأَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مِائَتَيْ آيَةٍ كُتِبَ لَهُ قُنُوتُ لَيْلَةٍ وَمَنْ قَرَأَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ خَمْسَ مِائَةِ آيَةٍ إِلَى may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind وَمَا الْقِنْطَارُ قَالَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفًا. Has told us [Abu An Nu'man] has told us [Wuhaib] from [Yunus] from [Al Hasan] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever reads a hundred verses at night, then the Qur'an will not be criticized on that night, and whoever reads two hundred verses at night, it will be recorded for him obedience throughout the night, and whoever reads five hundred to a thousand verses at night, in the morning he will get one qinthar in the afterlife." They ask; How much is one qinthar? He answered: "Twelve thousand." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) Has reported to us [Al Hakam bin Nafi'] has reported to us [Hariz] from [Habib bin Ubaid] he said; I heard [Abu Umamah] say; Whoever recites a thousand verses will have one qinthar of reward recorded for him, and the qirath of that qinthar cannot be redeemed by your world. Has told us [Yahya bin Bistham] has told us [Yahya bin Hamzah] from [Yahya bin Al Harith] from [Al Qasim Abu Abdurrahman] from [Tamim Ad Dari] and [Fadlalah bin Ubaid] both said; Whoever recites a thousand verses at night will have one qinthar recorded for him, while one qirath from that qinthar is better than the world and everything in it, and will receive a reward stored according to what Allah wills.
