Nabi Dzulkifli

ذُو الْكِفْل عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام

A Prophet Who is Patient & Firm in His Promises

Dzulkifli AS is mentioned in the Qur'an together with Ismail and Idris as a group of patient people (Surah Al-Anbiya). His name, which means "owner/keeper of promises", is associated with the history that he promised to always fast during the day, pray at night, and not get angry, and then kept it consistently. He is an example of istiqamah in worship and morals.

Servant who is patient and fulfills his obligations

Dzulkifli is mentioned in the Qur'an among the chosen prophets: "And (remember the story of) Ismail, Idris, and Dzulkifli. All of them were patient people." His name means "owner of dependents" - the mufasir narrated that he was willing to take care of the affairs of his people: fasting during the day, praying at night, and deciding the law without getting angry, then he fulfilled all his obligations.
