Tabi'in historian, son of Az-Zubair bin Awwam
Urwah bin Az-Zubair is the son of Az-Zubair bin Awwam RA's friend and Aisyah RA's nephew, which makes him one of the earliest and most trusted sources for the history of the Prophet ﷺ due to his direct closeness to Ummul Mukminin. He is known as one of the pioneers of systematically writing the history of the life of the Prophet ﷺ, laying the foundation for greater sirah works in subsequent generations.
