Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنِ الرَّبَابِ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الضَّبِّيِّ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى تَمْرٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى مَاءٍ فَإِنَّهُ طَهُورٌ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Abu Mu'awiyah] said; has told us ['Ashim] from [Hafshah] from [Ar-Rabab] from [Salman bin 'Amir Adz-Dlabby] said; The Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam said: "If one of you breaks his fast with dates, if he doesn't get any then break his fast with water because water is holy." Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 2nd hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ ابْنَةِ سِيرِينَ عَنِ الرَّبَابِ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى تَمْرٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَلْيُفْطِرْ بِمَاءٍ فَإِنَّ الْمَاءَ طَهُورٌ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Abdurrazzaq] said; has preached to us [Hisyam] from [Hafshah bint Sirin] from [Ar-Rabab] from [Salman bin 'Amir Adz-Dlabby] saying; Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "If one of you breaks his fast with dates, if he doesn't get any then break his fast with water. Indeed, water is holy." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 3rd Hadith. وَقَالَمَعَ الْغُلَامِ عَقِيقَتُهُ فَأَهْرِيقُوا عَنْهُ دَمًا وَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الْأَذَى. Still through the same transmission route as the previous hadith, from [Salman bin Amir]; and he said: "A newborn child must be accompanied by an aqiqah, let the blood flow (carry out the slaughter) and remove the disturbance." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 4th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى الْمِسْكِينِ صَدَقَةٌ وَالصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى ذِي الرَّحِمِ اثْنَتَانِ صَدَقَةٌ وَصِلَةٌ. Has told us [Yazid bin Harun] said; has preached to us [Hisyam] from [Hafshah] from [Salman bin 'Amir Adz-Dlabby] saying; I heard Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam say: "Almsgiving for the poor is rewarded with almsgiving, while almsgiving for close relatives brings two rewards, the reward of almsgiving and the reward of connecting ties of relatives." Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 5th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَعَ الْغُلَامِ عَقِيقَتُهُ فَأَهْرِيقُوا عَنْهُ دَمًا وَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الْأَذَى. Has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Hisham] said; has told me [Hafshah] from [Salman bin 'Amir] said; I heard the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam say: "A new born child must be accompanied by aqiqah, let his blood flow and get rid of his troubles." Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 6th Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قُشَيْرٍ الْجُعْفِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي رَهْطٍ مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ فَبَايَعْنَا وَإِنَّ قَمِيصَهُ لَمُطْلَقٌ فَبَايَعْتُهُ فَأَدْخَلْتُ يَدِي مِنْ جَيْبِ الْقَمِيصِ فَمَسِسْتُ الْخَاتَمَقَالَ عُرْوَةُ فَمَا رَأَيْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ وَلَا أَبَاهُ شِتَاءً وَلَا حَرًّا إِلَّا مُطْلِقَيْ أَزْرَارِهِمَا لَا يَزُرَّانِ أَبَدًا. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Hasyim bin Al Qasim] said; has told us [Abu Khatsmah] from ['Urwah bin Abdullah bin Qusyair Al ju'fy] has told me [Mu'awiyah bin Qurrah] from [his father] said; I met Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam in a group from Muzainah, then we pledged allegiance to him and his robe was just thrown on (unbuttoned), then I pledged allegiance to him, then I put my hand in the pocket of his robe, and touched his ring." 'Urwah said; "In the following days I never saw Mu'awiyah and his father, neither in winter nor summer other than unbuttoning his shirt and not button it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 7th Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِسْطَامُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبِيلَقَدْ عَمَّرْنَا مَعَ نَبِيِّنَا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَا لَنَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا الْأَسْوَدَانِثُمَّ قَالَ هَلْ تَدْرِي مَا الْأَسْوَدَانِ قُلْتُ لَا قَالَ التَّمْرُ وَالْمَاءُ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Sulaiman] has told us [Rouh] said; has told us [Bistham bin Muslim] from [Muawiyah bin Qurrah] said [my father] said; We once performed Umrah with our Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam and there was no food left for us except Al Aswadan (two black objects) then (Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam) asked, Do you know the meaning of two black objects? I answered, No. he said; "Dates and water." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 8th Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ كَانَ حَلَبَ وَصَرَّقَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ كَانَ أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَا أَدْرِي أَسَمِعَهُ مِنْهُ أَوْ حُدِّثَ عَنْهُ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Sulaiman bin Daud] said; has told us [Syu'bah] from [Muawiyah bin Qurrah] from [his father] when he met the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, it turned out that he had just blackmailed and tied him up. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Sulaiman] from [Syu'bah] from [Mu'awiyah] said; [my father] has told it to us from the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, I don't know whether he heard it from him or told it from him. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 9th Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ الْخَبِيثَتَيْنِ وَقَالَ مَنْ أَكَلَهُمَا فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدَنَا وَقَالَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا بُدَّ آكِلِيهِمَا فَأَمِيتُمُوهُمَا طَبْخًا قَالَ يَعْنِي الْبَصَلَ وَالثُّومَ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Abdul Malik bin 'Amr] said; has told us [Khalid bin Maisarah] has told us [Muawiyah bin Qurrah] from [his father] said; Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam prohibited two bad trees, saying: "Whoever eats these two, then do not approach our mosque, if you are forced to eat them, remove the smell by cooking them" the two trees are, "Onions and garlic." Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 10th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي وَقَدْ كَانَ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَفَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُ. Has told us [Husain bin Muhammad] said; has told us [Syu'bah] from [Muawiyah, Abu 'Iyash] said; I heard [my father], he once met the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, and the prophet washed his head and asked for forgiveness for him. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 11th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي صِيَامِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ الشَّهْرِ صَوْمُ الدَّهْرِ وَإِفْطَارُهُ. Has told us ['Affan] said; has told us [Syu'bah] from [Muawiyah bin Qurrah] from [his father] from the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, he said that fasting three days a month is like fasting all the time and breaking the fast. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 12th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ قَالَجَاءَ أَبِي إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ غُلَامٌ صَغِيرٌ فَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُقَالَ شُعْبَةُ قُلْنَا لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ قَالَ لَا وَلَكِنَّهُ كَانَ عَلَى عَهْدِهِ قَدْ حَلَبَ وَصَرَّ. It has been told to us [Hajjaj] said; has told me [Syu'bah] from [Abu 'Iyas] said; My father met the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam when he was still young, then he rubbed his head and asked for forgiveness for him. Shu'bah said; can he be called a friend? (Abu 'Iyas) said; No, but during his time he was able to express milk and tie wood. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 13th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ أُحُدٍ أَصَابَ النَّاسَ قَرْحٌ وَجَهْدٌ شَدِيدٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْفِرُوا وَأَوْسِعُوا وَادْفِنُوا الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالثَّلَاثَةَ فِي الْقَبْرِ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ نُقَدِّمُ قَالَ أَكْثَرَهُمْ جَمْعًا وَأَخْذًا لِلْقُرْآنِ. It has been told to us [Waki'] from [Sulaiman bin Al Mughirah] from [Humaid bin Hilal] from [Hisyam bin 'Amir Al Ansari] said; At the time of the Battle of Uhud, people were badly injured and exhausted. Then Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Dig a hole and widen it, and bury two or three people in one grave" they said 'O Rasulullah, who do we put first? He said: "The one who collects and memorizes the Qur'an the most." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 14th Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ قَالَكَانَ النَّاسُ يَشْتَرُونَ الذَّهَبَ بِالْوَرِقِ نَسِيئَةً إِلَى الْعَطَاءِ فَأَتَى عَلَيْهِمْ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ فَنَهَاهُمْ وَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَانَا أَنْ نَبِيعَ الذَّهَبَ بِالْوَرِقِ نَسِيئَةً وَأَنْبَأَنَا أَوْ قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَنَّ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الرِّبَا. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Isma'il] said; has told us [Ayyub] from [Abu Qilabah] said; people bought gold with currency on credit with the condition that there was an addition, then one day [Hisham bin 'Amir] came to them, then forbade such transactions and said; Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam forbade us to sell gold with currency on credit and conditional on additions, he said it was usury." Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 15th Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَإِنَّكُمْ لَتَخُطُّونَ إِلَى أَقْوَامٍ مَا هُمْ بِأَعْلَمَ بِحَدِيثِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَّا قُتِلَ أَبِي يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْفِرُوا وَأَوْسِعُوا وَادْفِنُوا الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالثَّلَاثَةَ فِي الْقَبْرِ وَقَدِّمُوا أَكْثَرَهُمْ قُرْآنًاوَكَانَ أَبِي أَكْثَرَهُمْ قُرْآنًا فَقُدِّمَ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from [Ayyub] from [Humaid bin Hilal] from [Hisyam bin 'Amir] said; You have come to a people who know no more about the hadith of the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam than we do. My father died in the Battle of Uhud, then Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Dig, expand and bury two or three people in one hole. Give priority to the person who has memorized the most of the Qur'an." My father is one of those who has memorized the most, so he takes precedence. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 16th Hadith. قَالَوَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ وَاللَّهِ مَا بَيْنَ خَلْقِ آدَمَ إِلَى قِيَامِ السَّاعَةِ أَمْرٌ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ الدَّجَّالِ. [Hisham bin 'Amir] said; I heard Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam say: "From the time Adam was created until the Day of Judgment occurs, there is no thing greater than the Dajjal." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 17th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكِ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ قَرَأْتُهُ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةَ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ هِشَامَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ مُسْلِمًا فَوْقَ ثَلَاثِ لَيَالٍ فَإِنْ كَانَ تَصَارَمَا فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ فَإِنَّهُمَا نَاكِبَانِ عَنْ الْحَقِّ مَا دَامَا عَلَى صُرَامِهِمَا وَأَوَّلُهُمَا فَيْئًا فَسَبْقُهُ بِالْفَيْءِ كَفَّارَتُهُ فَإِنْ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ وَرَدَّ عَلَيْهِ سَلَامَهُ رَدَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَرَدَّ عَلَى الْآخَرِ الشَّيْطَانُ فَإِنْ مَاتَا عَلَى صُرَامِهِمَا لَمْ يَجْتَمِعَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَبَدًا. Has told us [Rauh bin 'Ubadah] said; has told us [Syu'bah] from [Yazid Ar-Risyk]. Shu'bah said; I read in front of him, saying I heard [Mu'adzah Al 'Adawiyah] say; I heard [Hisham bin 'Amir] say; I heard Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam say: "It is not halal for a muslim to silence his brother muslim for more than three nights, if they both silence each other for more than three nights, both are far from the truth as long as they both remain silent. If one of them regains consciousness from feeling angry, then that consciousness will atone for his sins. If person 'A' greets his friend 'B' but is not accepted, even though person 'A' still wants to answer his greeting, then person 'A' will be answered by an angel, and person 'B' who remains silent will be answered by Satan. If they both die in silence, then they both will not be together in heaven forever." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 18th Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكِ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ مُسْلِمًا فَوْقَ ثَلَاثِ لَيَالٍ فَإِنَّهُمَا نَاكِبَانِ عَنْ الْحَقِّ مَا دَامَا عَلَى صُرَامِهِمَا وَأَوَّلُهُمَا فَيْئًا يَكُونُ سَبْقُهُ بِالْفَيْءِ كَفَّارَةً لَهُ وَإِنْ سَلَّمَ فَلَمْ يَقْبَلْ وَرَدَّ عَلَيْهِ سَلَامَهُ رَدَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَرَدَّ عَلَى الْآخَرِ الشَّيْطَانُ وَإِنْ مَاتَا عَلَى صُرَامِهِمَا لَمْ يَدْخُلَا الْجَنَّةَ جَمِيعًا أَبَدًا. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] said; has told us [Syu'bah] from [Yazid Ar-Risyk] from [Mu'adzah] from [Hisyam bin 'Amir] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "It is not halal for a muslim to leave another muslim alone for more than three nights. In fact, both of them are far from the truth as long as they both keep silent about each other. The first of the two to realize repentance, then his immediate realization will be atonement for his sins. If person 'A' says hello to his friend 'B', but person 'B' does not accept it even though person 'A' still wants to answer the greeting, then his greeting will be answered by an angel, and the other person's greeting will be answered by a devil. If they both die in a state of mutual silence, surely neither of them will enter heaven forever." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 19th hadith. حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ قَالَ قَالَ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَامِرٍجَاءَتْ الْأَنْصَارُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَصَابَنَا قَرْحٌ وَجَهْدٌ فَكَيْفَ تَأْمُرُنَا قَالَ احْفِرُوا وَأَوْسِعُوا وَاجْعَلُوا الرَّجُلَيْنِ وَالثَّلَاثَةَ فِي الْقَبْرِ قَالُوا فَأَيُّهُمْ نُقَدِّمُ قَالَ أَكْثَرَهُمْ قُرْآنًاقَالَ فَقُدِّمَ أَبِي عَامِرٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَجُلٍ أَوْ اثْنَيْنِ. Has told us [Bahz] said; has told us [Sulaiman bin Al Mughirah] said; has told us [Humaid bin Al Hilal] said; [Hisham bin 'Amir] said; The Ansar came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) at the time of the Battle of Uhud, then they said, 'O Messenger of Allah, we are very badly injured and tired, what do you order us to do! first? He said: "The one who memorizes the Qur'an the most." (Hisyam bin 'Amir) said; then we put Abu 'Amir before anyone or anything else." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 20th hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ قَالَقُتِلَ أَبِي يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْفِرُوا وَوَسِّعُوا وَأَحْسِنُوا وَادْفِنُوا الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالثَّلَاثَةَ فِي الْقَبْرِ وَقَدِّمُوا أَكْثَرَهُمْ قُرْآنًافَكَانَ أَبِي ثَالِثَ ثَلَاثَةٍ وَكَانَ أَكْثَرَهُمْ قُرْآنًا فَقُدِّمَ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has preached to us [Abdurrazzaq] said; has told us [Ma'mar] from [Ayyub] from [Humaid bin Al Hilal] said; has reported to us [Hisyam bin 'Amir] said; My father was killed in the Battle of Uhud, then the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Dig it, expand it, improve it, bury two or three people in one hole. Give priority to the person who has memorized the most of the Qur'an" my father was the third body to come last, only he was the person who had memorized the most so he took priority. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 21st Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّهْمَاءِ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَشَكَوْا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا بِهِمْ مِنْ الْقَرْحِ فَقَالَ احْفِرُوا وَأَحْسِنُوا وَأَوْسِعُوا وَادْفِنُوا الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالثَّلَاثَةَ فِي الْقَبْرِ وَقَدِّمُوا أَكْثَرَهُمْ قُرْآنًافَمَاتَ أَبِي فَقُدِّمَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَجُلَيْنِ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حُمَيْدَ بْنَ هِلَالٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ هِشَامِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ أُحُدٍ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَرِيرَ بْنَ حَازِمٍ يُحَدِّثُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ وَزَادَ فِيهِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ وَزَادَ فِيهِ وَأَعْمِقُوا. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Abdusshomad] said; has told us [my father] has told us [Ayyub] from [Humaid] from [Abu Ad-Dahma'] from [Hisham bin 'Amir] said; they complained to the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam about the difficulties that befell them. Then (Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam) said: "Dig, improve, expand and bury two or three people in each hole. Give priority to the person who has memorized the most of the Qur'an" then my father was one of those who died and took precedence over the others. Has told us [Wahab bin Jarir] said; has told us [my father] said; I heard [Humaid bin Hilal] tell [Sa'ad bin Hisham] from [his father, Hisham bin 'Amir] saying; at the time of the Battle of Uhud, then mentioned the hadith in full. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us ['Affan] said; I heard [Jarir bin Hazim] narrate this hadith, from [Humaid bin Hilal] and add to it from [Sa'ad bin Hisham] with additions, and deepen it. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 22nd Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ قَالَقَدِمَ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْبَصْرَةَ فَوَجَدَهُمْ يَتَبَايَعُونَ الذَّهَبَ فِي أُعْطِيَاتِهِمْ فَقَامَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الذَّهَبِ بِالْوَرِقِ نَسِيئَةً وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَوْ قَالَ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الرِّبَا. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Hasan bin Musa] said; has told us [Hammad] namely Ibn Zaid, from [Ayyub] from [Abu Qilabah] said; [Hisham bin 'Amir] came to Basra, then found them buying and selling gold in their exchange place, then he stood up and said; Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam forbade buying and selling gold with money on credit, and has informed us or said; that is usury. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 23rd Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ السُّلَمِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ نَافِعَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ أَخْبَرَهُأَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ أَبِي الْعَاصِ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ عُثْمَانُ وَبِي وَجَعٌ قَدْ كَادَ يُهْلِكُنِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمْسِكْ بِيَمِينِكَ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُقَالَ فَفَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ فَأَذْهَبَ اللَّهُ مَا كَانَ بِي فَلَمْ أَزَلْ آمُرُ بِهِ أَهْلِي وَغَيْرَهُمْ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Rouh] said; has told us [Malik bin Anas] from [Yazid bin Khushaifah] ['Amr bin Abdullah bin Ka'ab As-Sulami] told him [Nafi' bin Jubair] told him, ['Uthman bin Abu Al 'Ash] came to Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam. 'Uthman said; I felt so much pain that I almost died from it, then Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Hold the affected area with your right hand seven times by praying, 'AUDZU BI IZZATILLAH WA QUDRATIHI MIN SYARRI MA AJIDU (I seek refuge in the glory of Allah and all His abilities, from all the evil that befalls me) then I did that so that Allah will remove the pain I am suffering, so I told my family and other people to practice this prayer (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 24th Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ رَوْحٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ وَامْرَأَةٍ مِنْ قَيْسٍ أَنَّهُمَاسَمِعَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي وَخَطَئِي وَعَمْدِيو قَالَ الْآخَرُ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ أَسْتَهْدِيكَ لِأَرْشَدِ أَمْرِي وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Rouh] and [Abdusshomad] said; has told us [Hammad] said; [Rouh] said; has reported to us [Al Jurairi] from [Abu Al Ala'i] from ['Uthman bin Abu Al Ash] and [a woman] from Qais, they both heard the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, saying: one of the two, I heard him say; "ALLAHUMMA IGFIRLI DZANBI WA KHATAI WA 'AMDY (O Allah, forgive my sins and mistakes that are unintentional or intentional)." One of them said; I heard him (Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam) pray, "ASTAHDIIKA LI ARSYADI AMRY WA `A'UDZU BIKA MIN SYARRI NAFSI" (I ask You for guidance so that my affairs are at the peak of truth, and I seek refuge from my ugliness) " (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 25th Hadith. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ قَالَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ اجْعَلْنِي إِمَامَ قَوْمِي فَقَالَ أَنْتَ إِمَامُهُمْ وَاقْتَدِ بِأَضْعَفِهِمْ وَاتَّخِذْ مُؤَذِّنًا لَا يَأْخُذُ عَلَى أَذَانِهِ أَجْرًا. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) said; has told us [Abdushshomad] said; has told us [Hammad] from [Al Jurairi] from [Abu Al Ala'i] from ['Uthman bin Abu Al Ash] said; O Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam, make me the imam of my people! Then (Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam) said 'You are their imam and exemplify the weakest among them, and take a muezzin who does not take wages for his call to prayer." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 26th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ قَالَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ اجْعَلْنِي إِمَامَ قَوْمِي قَالَ أَنْتَ إِمَامُهُمْ فَاقْتَدِ بِأَضْعَفِهِمْ وَاتَّخِذْ مُؤَذِّنًا لَا يَأْخُذُ عَلَى أَذَانِهِ أَجْرًا. Has told us ['Affan] said; has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] said; has preached to us [Sa'id Al Jurairi] from [Abu Al Ala'i] from [Mutharrif] from ['Uthman bin Abu Al Ash] said I said; O Messenger of Allah, make me an imam for my people. He said: "You are their priests, and emulate the weakest among you. Appoint a muezzin who does not take wages." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 27th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ قَالَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ كَجُنَّةِ أَحَدِكُمْ مِنْ الْقِتَالِ وَكَانَ آخِرُ مَا عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ بَعَثَنِي إِلَى الطَّائِفِ قَالَ يَا عُثْمَانُ تَجَوَّزْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّ فِي الْقَوْمِ الْكَبِيرَ وَذَا الْحَاجَةِ. It has been related to us [Jonah] said; has told us [Hammad] namely Ibn Zaid, from [Muhammad bin Ishaq] from [Sa'id bin Abu Hind] from [Mutharrif] Said; I met ['Uthman bin Abu Al Ash], then he said; I heard Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam say: "Fasting is a shield, like a shield between you when fighting, and the last testament of Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam to me when he sent me to Taif he said: "O Uthman, be light in prayer, because there are parents and people who have needs." Hadits ke-28. حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ قَالَأَتَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبِي وَجَعٌ قَدْ كَادَ يُهْلِكُنِي فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ امْسَحْهُ بِيَمِينِكَ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُقَالَ فَفَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ فَأَذْهَبَ اللَّهُ مَا كَانَ بِي فَلَمْ أَزَلْ آمُرُ بِهِ أَهْلِي وَغَيْرَهُمْ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ishaq bin 'Isa] berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Malik] dari [Yazid bin Khushaifah] ['Amr bin Abdullah bin Kaab] menghabarinya, dari [Nafi' bin Jubair] dari ['Utsman bin Abu Al Ash] berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam menemuiku ketika saya sedang sakit yang hampir saja menjadikanku meninggal karenanya. lalu Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda kepadaku, "Usaplah daerah yang sakit itu dengan tangan kananmu sebanyak tujuh kali dengan berdoa, 'AUDZU BI IZZATILLAH WA QUDRATIHI MIN SYARRI MA AJIDU (Aku berlindung dengan kemuliaan Allah dan Segala kemampuAn Nya, dari segala keburukan yang menimpaku), saya lakukan hal itu sehingga Allah menghilangkan rasa sakit yang aku derita, sehingga aku menyuruh keluargaku dan orang lain untuk mempraktekkan doa tersebut. Hadits ke-29. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَشْيَاخَنَا مِنْ ثَقِيفٍ قَالُوا أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَاصِ أَنَّهُ قَالَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُمَّ قَوْمَكَ وَإِذَا أَمَمْتَ قَوْمَكَ فَأَخِفَّ بِهِمْ الصَّلَاةَ فَإِنَّهُ يَقُومُ فِيهَا الصَّغِيرُ وَالْكَبِيرُ وَالضَّعِيفُ وَالْمَرِيضُ وَذُو الْحَاجَةِ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Ja'far] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] dari [An Nu'man bin Salim] berkata; saya mendengar para [Syaikh] dari Tsaqif, telah menghabarkan kepada kami ['Utsman bin Abu Al Ash] dia berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda kepadaku 'Imamilah kaummu. Ketika kamu menjadi imam kaummu, peringkaslah shalat, karena yang ikut ada anak kecil, orang yang sudah tua, orang yang lemah, orang yang sakit dan orang yang memiliki keperluan." (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-30. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ حَدَّثَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَاصِ قَالَآخِرُ مَا عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَمَمْتَ قَوْمًا فَأَخِفَّ بِهِمْ الصَّلَاةَ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Ja'far] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] dari ['Amr bin Murrah] berkata; saya mendengar [Sa'id bin Musayyab] berkata; ['Utsman bin Abu Al Ash] menceritakan, berkata; pesan terakhir yang diwasiatkan Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam kepadaku adalah 'Jika kamu menjadi imam suatu kaum, ringankanlah shalat.' Hadits ke-31. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ أَنَّ مُطَرِّفًا مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ حَدَّثَهُأَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ أَبِي الْعَاصِ الثَّقَفِيَّ دَعَا لَهُ بِلَبَنٍ لِيَسْقِيَهُ فَقَالَ مُطَرِّفٌ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ فَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ مِنْ النَّارِ كَجُنَّةِ أَحَدِكُمْ مِنْ الْقِتَالِ وَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ صِيَامٌ حَسَنٌ صِيَامُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ الشَّهْرِ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hajjaj] berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Laits bin Sa'ad] berkata; telah menceritakan kepadaku [Yazid bin Abu Habib] dari [Sa'id bin Abu Hind] [Mutharrif] dari Bani 'Amir bin Sha'sha'ah, menceritakannya ['Utsman bin Abu Al Ash Ats-Tsaqafi] meminta susu untuk diminum, lalu Mutharrif berkata; saya sedang berpuasa. 'Usman berkata; saya mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda: "Puasa adalah perisai dari neraka seperti perisai di antara kalian waktu berperang", dan saya mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda: "Puasa yang baik adalah puasa tiga hari setiap bulan." Hadits ke-32. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَمَرَّ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَاصِ عَلَى كِلَابِ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ عَلَى مَجْلِسِ الْعَاشِرِ بِالْبَصْرَةِ فَقَالَ مَا يُجْلِسُكَ هَاهُنَا قَالَ اسْتَعْمَلَنِي هَذَا عَلَى هَذَا الْمَكَانِ يَعْنِي زِيَادًا فَقَالَ لَهُ عُثْمَانُ أَلَا أُحَدِّثُكَ حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ بَلَى فَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ كَانَ لِدَاوُدَ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام مِنْ اللَّيْلِ سَاعَةٌ يُوقِظُ فِيهَا أَهْلَهُ فَيَقُولُ يَا آلَ دَاوُدَ قُومُوا فَصَلُّوا فَإِنَّ هَذِهِ سَاعَةٌ يَسْتَجِيبُ اللَّهُ فِيهَا الدُّعَاءَ إِلَّا لِسَاحِرٍ أَوْ عَشَّارٍ فَرَكِبَ كِلاَبُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ سَفِينَتَهُ فَأَتَى زَيِادًا فَاسْتَعْفَاهُ فَأَعْفَاهُحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ مَرَّ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَاصِ عَلَى كِلَابِ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yazid] berkata; telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Hammad bin Salamah] berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Ali bin Zaid] dari [Al Hasan] 'Utsman bin Abu Al Ash melewati Kilab Bin Umayyah yang sedang duduk di tempat perpajakan di Bashrah, maka 'Utsman bin Abu Al Ash bertanya, " Apa yang membuatmu duduk disini"? (Kilab bin Umayyah) menjawab 'Ziyad yang menyuruhku untuk duduk.' 'Utsman berkata, maukah saya ceritakan sesuatu hadits?."Maukah aku tunjukkan kepadamu suatu hadits yang saya dengar langsung dari Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam?." Dia berkata; Ya. Lalu ['Utsman] berkata; saya mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda: "Dawud, Nabi Allah Alaihissalam, suatu malam membangunkan keluarganya dan berseru, 'Wahai keluarga Dawud, bangunlah kalian dan shalatlah! sungguh ini adalah waktu yang dikabulkan doa oleh Allah, kecuali untuk tukang sihir atau para pekerja pajak. Lalu Kilab bin Umayyah menaiki kapalnya untuk mendatangi Ziyad, untuk meminta maaf, dan (Kilab) pun memaafkannya. Telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Ubaidullah bin 'Umar Al Qawaryry] berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammad bin Zaid] dari ['Ali bin Zaid] dari [Al Hasan] berkata; ['Utsman bin Abu Al Ash] melewati Kilab bin Umayyah, maka (Hasan) menyebutkan hadis sebagaimana di atas. Hadits ke-33. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَوْ بَدْرٍ أَنَا أَشُكُّ عَنْ طَلْقِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْحَنَفِيِّ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَى صَلَاةِ عَبْدٍ لَا يُقِيمُ فِيهَا صُلْبَهُ بَيْنَ رُكُوعِهَا وَسُجُودِهَا. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Waki'] berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Ikrimah bin 'Ammar] dari [Abdullah bin Zaid] atau Badr saya ragu, dari [Thalq bin 'Ali Al Hanafi], berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda: "Allah AzzaWaJalla tidak melihat shalat seorang hamba yang tidak menegakkan tulang punggungnya pada saat ruku' dan sujudnya." Hadits ke-34. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَدْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَى رَجُلٍ لَا يُقِيمُ صُلْبَهُ بَيْنَ رُكُوعِهِ وَسُجُودِهِ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Nadlr] berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ayyub bin 'Utbah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Badr] dari [Abdurrahman bin 'Ali bin Syaiban] dari [bapaknya], Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda: "Allah AzzaWaJalla tidak melihat seorang laki-laki yang tidak menegakkan tulang punggungnya antara ruku'nya dan sujudnya." Hadits ke-35. قَالَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَسَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيَتَوَضَّأُ أَحَدُنَا إِذَا مَسَّ ذَكَرَهُ قَالَ إِنَّمَا هُوَ بَضْعَةٌ مِنْكَ أَوْ جَسَدِكَ. (Abdullah bin Ahmad) berkata; (Ahmad bin Hanbal) berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammad bin Khalid] berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ayyub bin 'Utbah] dari [Qais bin Thalq] dari [bapaknya] berkata; Seorang laki-laki bertanya Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam, Apabila salah di antara kita memegang kemaluannya haruskah dia berwudlu? beliau bersabda: "Sesungguhnya itu (kemaluan, pent) adalah bagian darimu atau tubuhmu." Hadits ke-36. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ أَنَّ أَبَاهُشَهِدَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ فَلَمْ يَقُلْ لَهُ شَيْئًا فَلَمَّا أُقِيمَتْ الصَّلَاةُ طَارَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ ثَوْبَيْهِ فَصَلَّى فِيهِمَا. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yunus] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Aban] dari [Yahya bin Abu Katsir] dari ['Isa bin Khutsaim] dari [Qais bin Thalq] [bapaknya] dia pernah menjumpai Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam, ketika ada seorang yang bertanya telah shalat dengan satu pakaian, beliau tidak mengucapkan sepatah katapun. Tatkala shalat didirikan, Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam melipat antara kedua ujung kainnya dan beliau pergunakan untuk shalat. (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-37. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَدْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ طَلْقٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَكُونُ وِتْرَانِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Musa bin Daud] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Jabir] dari [Abdullah bin Badr] ['Ali bin Thalq] dari [bapaknya] berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda: "Tidak ada witir dalam satu malam." (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-38. قَالَوَسُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الرَّجُلِ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ قَالَ وَكُلُّكُمْ يَجِدُ ثَوْبَيْنِ. [Thalq] berkata; Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam ditanya tentang seorang laki-laki yang shalat dengan memakai satu pakaian. Beliau bersabda: "Tapi bukankah kalian mendapatkan dua kain?." Hadits ke-39. حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ الْهِلَالَ فَصُومُوا وَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُ فَأَفْطِرُوا فَإِنْ أُغْمِيَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَتِمُّوا الْعِدَّةَ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Musa] berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Jabir] dari [Qais bin Thalq] dari [bapaknya] berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda: "Jika kalian melihat Hilal, maka berpuasalah. Jika kalian melihatnya lagi maka berbukalah. Jika ada mendung pada kalian maka sempurnakanlah hitungan." (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-40. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَكُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ مَسِسْتُ ذَكَرِي أَوْ الرَّجُلُ يَمَسُّ ذَكَرَهُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ عَلَيْهِ الْوُضُوءُ قَالَ لَا إِنَّمَا هُوَ مِنْكَ. (Ahmad bin Hanbal) berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Musa bin Daud] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Jabir] dari [Qais bin Thalq] dari [bapaknya] berkata; Aku sedang duduk bersama Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam, lalu ada seorang laki-laki bertanya beliau dengan berkata; "Aku telah memegang kemaluanku" ataupun ada seorang laki-laki yang memegang kemaluannya dalam shalat, apakah wajib baginya untuk berwudlu?
