Translation
The book โThe Proof for the People of Medinaโ by Muhammad bin Al-Hasan Al-Shaybani is a jurisprudential work based on the Hanafi school of thought. It presents the opinions of the jurists of Kufa and responds with them to the opinions of the jurists of Medina on matters of worship. The book begins with a discussion of the time of dawn prayer, then deals in detail with the chapters of purity and prayer, such as ablution, tayammum, and wiping over the socks, leading to the rulings on oversight and forgetfulness in prayer.
