Translation

This book is a treatise on the science of wounding and modification, in which the author examines the rule of prioritizing wounding over modification, and shows that this rule is not absolute. Rather, an exception is made from it for those whose imamate and justice have been proven, whose praise is many, and who are rarely hurtful by him, with evidence indicating the fanaticism of the wounder, so he should not pay attention to wounding against him. In this regard, the author relies on the statements of previous scholars, such as Ibn Abd al-Barr, and discusses the issue of scholars speaking to one another, specifying a criterion for distinguishing between acceptable criticism and others.
