يبحث هذا الكتاب في قضية رسم المصحف العثماني وعلاقته باختلاف القراءات القرآنية، وذلك من خلال الرد على آراء المستشرق إجنتس جولدتسيهر الذي زعم أن خلو الخط العربي من النقط والشكل كان سببًا في نشوء تلك الاختلافات. يعتمد المؤلف على أدلة تاريخية ونقلية لبيان صلة القراءات بالسند النبوي، ويدرس موقف النحويين والقراء القدماء من رسم المصحف، متناولًا قضايا الاختيار في القراءات والبلاغة في الاختلافات، مع ملاحق تدفع الشبهات وتوضح الحقائق الكبرى في هذا المجال.
Translation
This book examines the issue of the drawing of the Uthmani Qur’an and its relationship to the differences in Qur’anic readings, by responding to the opinions of the orientalist Ignaz Goldziher, who claimed that the absence of dots and shapes in the Arabic script was the reason for the emergence of these differences. The author relies on historical and narrational evidence to show the connection of the readings with the Prophet’s chain of transmission, and studies the position of grammarians and ancient readers regarding the drawing of the Qur’an, addressing the issues of choice in the readings and rhetoric in the differences, with appendices that remove suspicions and clarify the major facts in this field.
