مجاز القرآن. كتاب في معاني القرآن وأساليبه البيانية، صنفه أبو عبيدة معمر بن المثنى التيمى البصري، يُغتبر أول مؤلف في علوم اللغة، واستفاد منه الطبري في تفسيره.
Translation
Metaphor of the Qur’an. A book on the meanings of the Qur’an and its declarative methods, compiled by Abu Ubaidah Muammar bin Al-Muthanna Al-Taymi Al-Basri. It is considered the first author in linguistic sciences, and Al-Tabari benefited from it in his interpretation.
