Bahz told us, he said: Hammad bin Salama told us, on the authority of Ya`la bin Ata, on the authority of Waki` bin Adas, on the authority of his uncle Abu Razin, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said, “The vision is attached to the leg of a bird, unless its owner narrates it. Then if he narrates it, it will come true, and do not narrate it to anyone except a scholar or a scholar.” Whether he is sincere or wise, a good vision is one of forty parts of prophecy.

He said, Ali bin Ishaq told us, he said, Abdullah, meaning Ibn al-Mubarak, told us, he said, Abdul Rahman bin Yazid bin Jabir told us, on the authority of Suleiman bin Musa, on the authority of Abu Razin Al-Uqaili, said: I came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and I said: O Messenger of God, how does God revive the dead? He said Did you not pass by a land of yours that was barren, then you passed by it fertile? He said, “Yes.” He said, “Also, Al-Nushr.” He said, “O Messenger of God, and what is faith?” He said that You bear witness that there is no god but God alone, with no partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, and that God and His Messenger are dearer to you than Other than them, and to be burned with fire is more beloved to you than to associate partners with God and to love someone other than a relative, loving him only for the sake of God Almighty, so if You were like that, for the love of faith entered your heart just as the love of water enters the thirsty person on a hot day. I said, O Messenger of God, how should I know? Indeed, I am a believer who said, “There is not from my nation or this nation a servant who does a good deed and knows that it is a good deed and that God Almighty will reward him for it with goodness.” He does a bad deed, and he knows that it is a bad deed, and he asks God Almighty for forgiveness for it, and he knows that no one forgives anyone except Him, unless He is a believer.

Mirdas, on the authority of his father, that his father, Al-Abbas bin Mirdas, told him that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, called for his nation on the eve of Arafat. With forgiveness and mercy, he prayed frequently, and God Almighty answered him, “You have done so and forgiven your nation, except for those who wronged one another.” He said O Lord, You are able to forgive the oppressor and reward the oppressed with something better than his wrongdoing. And there was nothing on that evening but this, and when it came the next day He called for Muzdalifah in the morning and again called for his nation. Soon the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, smiled and some of his companions said, O Messenger of God. May my father and mother be sacrificed for you. You laughed at an hour when you were not laughing. And what made you laugh, may God make your age laugh. He said, “I smiled at the enemy of God, Satan, when He knew that God Almighty had responded to me regarding my nation and had forgiven the oppressor. He tempted to pray for victory and woe and threw dust on his head, so I smiled. From what he makes his alarm

He said: Ismail bin Ibrahim told us: Hisham al-Dastawai told us, on the authority of Yahya bin Abi Kathir, on the authority of Hilal bin Abi Maimunah, on the authority of Ata’ bin Yassar, on the authority of Rifa’ah Al-Juhani, said: “We accepted with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, even when we were in distress,” or he said, “in distress.” Then some of us began to ask permission to go to their families and he would give them permission. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, stood up and thanked God and praised Him. Then He said, “What is the matter with men whose side of the tree next to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, is more hateful to them than the other side?” So we did not see anything at that time. The people except crying. Then a man said, “Indeed, whoever asks your permission after this is a fool.” He thanked God and said, “Then I will bear witness with God. No servant will die.” He bears witness that there is no god but God and that I am the Messenger of God, truthfully from his heart, then he pays his respects, unless he walks into Paradise. He said, “And my Lord, the Almighty and Majestic, has promised me.” That seventy thousand of my nation will enter, upon whom will be no reckoning or torment, and I hope that they will not enter it until you and those who are righteous have settled. Your fathers, your wives, and your offspring are dwelling places in Paradise. And he said, when midnight has passed, or he said two-thirds of the night, God Almighty will descend to The lowest heaven, and He says, “I do not ask of My servants anyone except Me. Who can ask forgiveness of Me, so I will forgive him? Who is the one who calls upon Me? I will respond to him. Who is the one?” He asks me to give him until dawn breaks. He said: Abu Al-Mughirah told us, he said: Al-Awza’i told us, he said: Yahya bin Abi Kathir told us, on the authority of Hilal bin Abi Maimunah, on the authority of Ata’ bin Yassar, on the authority of Rifa’ah bin Arabah Al-Juhani, who said: We talked with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, from Mecca, so the people started asking him for permission, and he mentioned the hadith. He said, “Abu Bakr said, ‘Whoever asks for your permission after this is a fool in me.’ Then, The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, praised God and said good, then he said, “I bear witness with God,” and when he swore, he said, “By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, there is no servant.” He believes in God and the Last Day and then repays, unless he walks into Paradise. He mentioned the hadith. Hasan bin Musa told us. He said, Shayban told us, on the authority of Yahya. I mean, Ibn Abi Kathir said: Hilal bin Abi Maimunah, a man from the people of Medina, told me, on the authority of Ata’ bin Yasar, on the authority of Rifa’ah bin Araba. Al-Juhani said, “We accepted with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, until we were at Al-Kaddid,” or he said, “At Arafat,” and he mentioned the hadith.
