Abu Bakr commanded us, so we launched the raid and killed on the water those who killed us. Salama said. Then I looked at a group of people in which were descendants. And the women were heading towards the mountain, and I was running after them. I was afraid that they would outrun me to the mountain, so I shot an arrow and it fell between them and the mountain. He said So I brought them and took them to Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, until I came to him at the water, and among them was a woman from Fazara who had blood sputum on her. And with her was a daughter of hers, one of the best Arabs. He said, “So Abu Bakr sent her daughter to me. He said, I did not reveal a garment to her until I came to Medina, then I spent the night.” I did not uncover her clothing. He said, “Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, met me in the market and said to me, ‘O Salamah, give me the woman.’” So I said, “O Messenger.” By God, by God, I liked it, and I did not reveal her garment. He said, but the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, remained silent and left me until it was the next day. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, met me in the market and said, O Salamah, give me the woman for God, your father. He said, I said, O Messenger of God, by God. I liked that you revealed a garment for her, and it is yours, O Messenger of God. He said, Bahz bin Asad told us, he said, Ikrimah bin Ammar told us, he said, Iyas bin Salamah bin Al-Akwa’ told us, on the authority of his father, they invaded us. With the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, Hawazin and Ghatfan. While we were doing that, a man came on a red camel and snatched something from a bag. Then he tied the camel to him, then he came walking until he sat with us to have lunch. He said, “He looked at the people, and when he appeared there were a few of them and most of them.” On foot, when he looked at the people, he came out running, he said, and his camel came and he sat on it. He said, he went out galloping while it was the vanguard of the infidels, so a man from among us followed him. Whoever greets a camel of his own, Iyas said, “My father said, so I followed him, running on my feet.” He said, “And the camel’s head is at the camel’s hip.” He said, “I followed him.” So I was at the camel's hip, and I moved forward until I was at the camel's hip, then I moved forward until I took hold of the camel's snout, and I said to him, "Ah!", and when he put down I rode the camel to the ground, drew my sword, and struck its head, and it went down. Then I brought his camel, leading it, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, met me. He, peace and blessings of God be upon him, was with the people. He said, “Who killed this man?” They said, “Ibn al-Akwa’.” Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “All of his plunder is to him.”

He said, Abu Al-Nadr told us, he said, Ikrimah told us, he said, Iyas bin Salamah told me, he said, my father, Qalbaraz, my uncle told me, on the day of Khaybar, welcome. The Jew said: Welcome to Khaybar. I am welcomed. The one who bears the weapon is a proven hero when wars come to rage. So my uncle Amer said: Khaybar has been declared welcome. I am Amer, the one with the weapon, an adventurous hero. They struck two blows, and Marhab’s sword fell into Amer’s shield and went down to him, so the sword returned to his leg, cutting it off. He made it clear, and his soul was in it. Salamah ibn al-Akwa’ said: I met people from the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and they said, “The act of Amir who killed him is worthless.” He himself said: Salamah said, “I came to the Prophet of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, crying. I said, ‘O Messenger of God, a great deed has been vain.’ He said, ‘Who said that?’ I said, ‘People from Your companions, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Whoever said that has lied. Rather, he will have his reward twice. When he went out to Khaybar, he started to retreat. By the companions of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and among them is the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, driving passengers while saying, “By God, had it not been for God, we would not have been guided.” We have not given in charity nor have we prayed. Indeed, those who have transgressed against us have intended to tempt our fathers, and we have not dispensed with Your bounty. So keep our feet firm. They met us and sent down peace upon us. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Who is this?” Amer said, “O Messenger of God.” He said, “Your Lord has forgiven you.” He said, “And what He never asked forgiveness for anyone of his own unless he was martyred. When Omar ibn al-Khattab heard that, he said, O Messenger of God, if only we could grant Amir a chance. So he came. So he was martyred. Salamah said, “Then the Prophet of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, sent me to Ali and said, ‘Today I will give the banner to a man who loves God.’” And His Messenger, or does God and His Messenger love him? He said, “So I brought him, leading him while he was gray-haired. The Prophet of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, spit in his eyes, then gave him Then a greeting man came out brandishing his sword and said, “Khaybar has learned that I am Marhabah. The one who wields weapons is a proven hero when wars come to rage.” Ali bin Abu Talib, may God honor his face, I am the one whom my mother called me Haidarah, like a bunch of forests with an unpleasant appearance. He welcomed the sword, and the opening was in his hands.
