He said: Ya’qub told us, he said: My father told us, on the authority of Ibn Ishaq, he said: Muhammad bin Amr bin Ata’ told me, on the authority of Na’im al-Mujmar, on the authority of Rabi’ah bin Ka'b said: I used to serve the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and attend to his needs all day long until the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed. He said the last dinner, and I would sit at his door when he entered his house, saying, “Perhaps something might happen to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.” I kept hearing him saying the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, Glory be to God, Glory be to God, Glory be to God, and praise be to Him, until I grew tired and either returned or he defeated me. He looked into my eyes and fell asleep. He said to me one day, because he saw my fear of him and my service to him. Ask me, O Rabi’ah, and I will give you. He said, so I said, “Look into my situation, O Messenger.” God, then I will inform you of that. He said, “So I thought about myself and knew that the world is cut off and fleeting, and that I have sustenance in it that will suffice me and come to me.” He said So I said, “I will ask the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, about my hereafter, for it is from God Almighty regarding the house he is in.” He said, “I came, and he said, ‘What So you did, O Rabia. He said, so I said, “Yes, O Messenger of God. I ask you to intercede for me with your Lord, so that He may free me from Hell.” He said, “Who commanded you to do this?” O Rabi’ah, he said, so I said, “No, by God who sent you with the truth, no one commanded me to do it, but when you said, ‘Ask of me, I will give it to you,’ and you were at home from God.” With which you are, I looked into my affairs and knew that the world is cut off and fleeting, and that I have sustenance in it that will come to me, so I said, “I will ask the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him.” May God bless him and grant him peace for my hereafter. He said, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was silent for a long time, then he said to me: “I am a doer, so help yourself greatly.” Prostration

He said: Abdul Razzaq told us: Ath-Thawri told us, on the authority of Mansour, on the authority of Mujahid, on the authority of Abu Ayyash al-Zarqi. He said: We were with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. In Usfan, then the polytheists against them, Khalid bin Al-Walid, met us while they were between us and the qiblah, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, led us in prayer. noon, and they said, “They would have been in a state if We had struck their forelock.” Then they said, “A prayer will now come upon them, which is dearer to them than that of their children and their souls.” He said, “So Gabriel, peace be upon him, sent down these verses between the noon and afternoon prayers: {And when you are among them, you establish prayer for them} He said, so I attended. Then the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, ordered them to take the weapons. He said, “So we lined up in two rows behind him.” He said, “Then he kneeled, so we all kneeled, then he rose.” So we all rose, then the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, prostrated in the next row, while the others stood and guarded them. When they prostrated and stood up, the others sat down. So they prostrated in their place, then they advanced to the rows of these, and these came to the rows of these. He said, then he bowed, so they all bowed, then He rose and they all rose, then the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, prostrated, and the row next to him and the others stood and guarded them. When he sat down, the others sat down and prostrated. He greeted them and then left. He said, “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed it twice, once in Usfan and once in the land of Banu Sulaym.”

Whoever says in the morning: There is no god but God alone, without any partner, to Him belongs dominion and to Him is praise, and He is capable of all things. It is His. It is like the equivalent of a slave from the descendants of Ishmael, and ten good deeds are recorded for him, ten bad deeds are removed from him, and he is raised ten degrees for them. He was under protection from Satan until the evening, and when the evening came like this until the morning, he said, “A man saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, about He saw the sleeper and said, “O Messenger of God, Abu Ayyash narrates such-and-such about you.” He said, “Abu Ayyash has spoken the truth.”

He said: Abdul Razzaq told us: Dawud ibn Qais al-San’ani told us: Abdullah ibn Wahb told me: on the authority of his father. He said: Tell me: So save me. You said: I was told. I work in Al-Dinabad and receive treatment there. Then Ali bin Umayyah came as governor of Yemen, and men from the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, came with him. Then a man who came with him came to me while I was in the field, pouring water into the crops, and he had walnuts on his sleeve. He sat on a waterwheel and was breaking the nuts. That nut and he ate, then he pointed to a teacup and said, O Persian, come. He said, so I approached him, and the man said to the teacup, will you guarantee me the plant of this? The walnut was on the water, and he said to him, “So save me.” That is of no benefit to me. The man said, “I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying, ‘With these two ears of mine…’ He planted a tree and was patient in preserving it and taking care of it until it bore fruit. Everything he gained from its fruit was a charity from God Almighty. He said, “Save it. You heard this from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.” He said, “Yes.” He said, “Save it, so I guarantee it.” He said, “From it are the nuts of the cinnamon tree.”
