أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ خَدَمْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَا قَالَ لِي أُفٍّ قَطُّ وَلَا قَالَ لِي لِشَيْءٍ صَنَعْتُهُ لِمَ صَنَعْتَ كَذَا وَكَذَا أَوْ هَلَّا صَنَعْتَ كَذَا وَكَذَا وَقَالَ لَا وَاللَّهِ مَا مَسِسْتُ بِيَدِي دِيبَاجًا وَلَا حَرِيرًا أَلْيَنَ مِنْ يَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا وَجَدْتُ رِيحًا قَطُّ أَوْ عَرْفًا كَانَ أَطْيَبَ مِنْ عَرْفِ أَوْ رِيحِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Abu Al-Numan told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Thabit, on the authority of Anas bin Malik, who said: I served the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and what he said He never said to me, “Why did you do such and such” or “Why did you do such and such?” and he said, “No, by God, I have never touched a brocade with my hand.” Silk softer than the hand of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and I have never found a scent or scent that was better than the scent or scent of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الرِّفَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ خُدْرَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي حُرَيْشٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي حِينَ رَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَاعِزَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ فَلَمَّا أَخَذَتْهُ الْحِجَارَةُ أُرْعِبْتُ فَضَمَّنِي إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَالَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ عَرَقِ إِبْطِهِ مِثْلُ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

Muhammad bin Yazid Al-Rifa’i told us, Abu Bakr told us, on the authority of Habib bin Khudra, he said, a man from Banu Huraish told me, he said, “I was with my father when The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, stoned Ma’iz bin Malik. When the stones seized him, I was terrified, so the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, took me to him. He greeted me and the sweat from his armpits poured over me like the scent of musk.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ سَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ قَالَ أَرَأَيْتَ كَانَ وَجْهُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَ السَّيْفِ قَالَ لَا مِثْلَ الْقَمَرِ

Abu Nu’aym told us, Zuhair told us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Al-Bara’, he said: A man asked him, “Did you see the face of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace?” And he said, “No, like the moon.”

أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعْرَفُ بِاللَّيْلِ بِرِيحِ الطِّيبِ

أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْهَاشِمِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَسْلُكْ طَرِيقًا أَوْ لَا يَسْلُكُ طَرِيقًا فَيَتْبَعُهُ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا عَرَفَ أَنَّهُ قَدْ سَلَكَهُ مِنْ طِيبِ عَرْفِهِ أَوْ قَالَ مِنْ رِيحِ عَرَقِهِ

Malik ibn Ismail informed us, Ishaq ibn al-Fadl ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Hashimi informed us, al-Mughirah ibn Atiyya informed us, on the authority of Abu Al-Zubayr, on the authority of Jabir, said that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not take a road or take a road and someone followed him unless he knew that he had taken it from The goodness of his mane, or he said, from the scent of his sweat.

أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو اللَّيْثِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُ الْهَدِيَّةَ وَلَا يَقْبَلُ الصَّدَقَةَ فَأَهْدَتْ لَهُ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ يَهُودِ خَيْبَرَ شَاةً مَصْلِيَّةً فَتَنَاوَلَ مِنْهَا وَتَنَاوَلَ مِنْهَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْبَرَاءِ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ هَذِهِ تُخْبِرُنِي أَنَّهَا مَسْمُومَةٌ فَمَاتَ بِشْرُ بْنُ الْبَرَاءِ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا حَمَلَكِ عَلَى مَا صَنَعْتِ فَقَالَتْ إِنْ كُنْتَ نَبِيًّا لَمْ يَضُرَّكَ شَيْءٌ وَإِنْ كُنْتَ مَلِكًا أَرَحْتُ النَّاسَ مِنْكَ فَقَالَ فِي مَرَضِهِ مَا زِلْتُ مِنْ الْأَكْلَةِ الَّتِي أَكَلْتُ بِخَيْبَرَ فَهَذَا أَوَانُ انْقِطَاعِ أَبْهَرِي

Ja`far ibn Aoun informed us, Muhammad ibn Amr al-Laythi informed us, on the authority of Abu Salamah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to eat He does not accept gifts, but he does not accept charity. A woman from the Jews of Khaybar gave him a praying sheep, and he ate from it, and Bishr ibn al-Baraa ate from it, then The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, raised his hand and then said, “This woman tells me that she was poisoned.” Bishr ibn al-Bara’ died, so the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, sent for her. And peace be upon him. What made you do what you did? She said, “If you were a prophet, nothing would harm you, and if you were a king, I would relieve the people from you.” He said, “I am still sick.” From the food that I ate in Khaybar, this is the time for my aorta to stop.

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ كَانَ جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ يَهُودِيَّةً مِنْ أَهْلِ خَيْبَرَ سَمَّتْ شَاةً مَصْلِيَّةً ثُمَّ أَهْدَتْهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخَذَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْهَا الذِّرَاعَ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا وَأَكَلَ الرَّهْطُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ مَعَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُمْ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ارْفَعُوا أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْسَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْيَهُودِيَّةِ فَدَعَاهَا فَقَالَ لَهَا أَسَمَمْتِ هَذِهِ الشَّاةَ فَقَالَتْ نَعَمْ وَمَنْ أَخْبَرَكَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَتْنِي هَذِهِ فِي يَدِيَ الذِّرَاعُ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَمَاذَا أَرَدْتِ إِلَى ذَلِكَ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ إِنْ كَانَ نَبِيًّا لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ نَبِيًّا اسْتَرَحْنَا مِنْهُ فَعَفَا عَنْهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَمْ يُعَاقِبْهَا وَتُوُفِّيَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِهِ الَّذِينَ أَكَلُوا مِنْ الشَّاةِ وَاحْتَجَمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى كَاهِلِهِ مِنْ أَجْلِ الَّذِي أَكَلَ مِنْ الشَّاةِ حَجَمَهُ أَبُو هِنْدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي بَيَاضَةَ بِالْقَرْنِ وَالشَّفْرَةِ وَهُوَ مِنْ بَنِي ثُمَامَةَ وَهُمْ حَيٌّ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ

Al-Hakam bin Nafi’ told us, Shu’aib bin Abi Hamza told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, he said: Jabir bin Abdullah was narrating that a Jewish woman The people of Khaybar named a praying sheep, then presented it to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, took an arm of it and ate it. And the group of its companions ate with it, and then the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to them, “Raise your hands.” The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, sent to The Jewish woman, so he called her and said to her, “Did you poison this sheep?” She said, “Yes.” And who told you? The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “This woman told me.” In the hand of the arm. She said, “Yes.” He said, “So what did you mean by that?” She said, “I said, ‘If he were a prophet, it would not harm him.’ And if he was not a prophet, we would find relief from him and he would pardon.” On the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, he did not punish her, and some of his companions who ate from the sheep died, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was cupped. On his shoulders for the sake of the one who ate from the sheep. Abu Hind, the master of Banu Bayadah, cut him with a horn and a blade, and he was from Banu Thumama, and they were A living Ansar

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ لَمَّا فَتَحْنَا خَيْبَرَ أُهْدِيَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَاةٌ فِيهَا سُمٌّ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اجْمَعُوا لِي مَنْ كَانَ هَا هُنَا مِنْ الْيَهُودِ فَجُمِعُوا لَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي سَائِلُكُمْ عَنْ شَيْءٍ فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ صَادِقِيَّ عَنْهُ قَالُوا نَعَمْ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَبُوكُمْ قَالُوا أَبُونَا فُلَانٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَذَبْتُمْ بَلْ أَبُوكُمْ فُلَانٌ قَالُوا صَدَقْتَ وَبَرَرْتَ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ هَلْ أَنْتُمْ صَادِقِيَّ عَنْ شَيْءٍ إِنْ سَأَلْتُكُمْ عَنْهُ فَقَالُوا نَعَمْ وَإِنْ كَذَبْنَاكَ عَرَفْتَ كَذِبَنَا كَمَا عَرَفْتَ فِي آبَائِنَا فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَنْ أَهْلُ النَّارِ فَقَالُوا نَكُونُ فِيهَا يَسِيرًا ثُمَّ تَخْلُفُونَا فِيهَا قَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اخْسَئُوا فِيهَا وَاللَّهِ لَا نَخْلُفُكُمْ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُمْ هَلْ أَنْتُمْ صَادِقِيَّ عَنْ شَيْءٍ إِنْ سَأَلْتُكُمْ عَنْهُ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ هَلْ جَعَلْتُمْ فِي هَذِهِ الشَّاةِ سُمًّا قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ مَا حَمَلَكُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ قَالُوا أَرَدْنَا إِنْ كُنْتَ كَاذِبًا أَنْ نَسْتَرِيحَ مِنْكَ وَإِنْ كُنْتَ نَبِيًّا لَمْ يَضُرَّكَ

Abdullah bin Salih told us, Al-Layth told me, Sa’id bin Abi Sa’id Al-Maqbari told me, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said, “When we conquered Khaybar, I was given a gift.” The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, had a sheep that had poison in it. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Gather for me whoever of the Jews was here.” So they gathered for him, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to them, “I am asking you about something. Are you telling the truth about it?” They said, “Yes, O Abu.” Al-Qasim. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to them, “Who is your father?” They said, “Our father is so-and-so.” The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “You lied.” Rather, your father is so-and-so. They said, “You have spoken the truth and you have justified it.” He said to them, “Are you telling the truth about something that I asked you about?” They said, “Yes, even if we deny you.” You knew that we lied, just as you knew about our fathers. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to them, “Who are the people of Hell?” They said, “We will be in it for a little while.” Then You left behind us in it. The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to them: “Disgrace yourself in it. By God, we will never succeed you in it.” Then he said to them, “Do you You are telling the truth about something. If I ask you about it, they say yes. He said: Did you put poison in this sheep? They say yes. He said: What motivated you to do that? They said We wanted, if you were a liar, to find relief from you, and if you were a prophet, it would not harm you.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ مَا سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَيْئًا قَطُّ فَقَالَ لَا قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد قَالَ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ عِنْدَهُ وَعَدَ

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ عَنْ زَمْعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَيِيًّا لَا يُسْأَلُ شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ

Abdullah bin Imran told us, Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi told us, on the authority of Zum’ah, on the authority of Abu Hazim, on the authority of Sahl bin Sa’d, he said: The Messenger of God May God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He is alive and does not ask for anything except that He gives it to him.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَلَفٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَقَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ الْعَرَبِ قَالَ زَحَمْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ وَفِي رِجْلِي نَعْلٌ كَثِيفَةٌ فَوَطِئْتُ بِهَا عَلَى رِجْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَفَحَنِي نَفْحَةً بِسَوْطٍ فِي يَدِهِ وَقَالَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَوْجَعْتَنِي قَالَ فَبِتُّ لِنَفْسِي لَائِمًا أَقُولُ أَوْجَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَبِتُّ بِلَيْلَةٍ كَمَا يَعْلَمُ اللَّهُ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحْنَا إِذَا رَجُلٌ يَقُولُ أَيْنَ فُلَانٌ قَالَ قُلْتُ هَذَا وَاللَّهِ الَّذِي كَانَ مِنِّي بِالْأَمْسِ قَالَ فَانْطَلَقْتُ وَأَنَا مُتَخَوِّفٌ فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّكَ وَطِئْتَ بِنَعْلِكَ عَلَى رِجْلِي بِالْأَمْسِ فَأَوْجَعْتَنِي فَنَفَحْتُكَ نَفْحَةً بِالسَّوْطِ فَهَذِهِ ثَمَانُونَ نَعْجَةً فَخُذْهَا بِهَا

Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Abi Khalaf informed us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad informed us, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Ishaq, Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr informed me, On the authority of an Arab man who said, “I crowded the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, on the day of Hunayn, and I had thick sandals on my feet, so I stepped on the foot of the Messenger of God.” God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, gave me a blow with a whip in his hand and said, “In the name of God, you have caused me pain.” He said, “So I made up my mind to say, ‘I have caused pain to the Messenger of God.’” God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “I spent the night as God knows, and when we became in the morning, behold, a man was saying, ‘Where is so-and-so?’ He said, ‘This is it, and God is the one who It was from me yesterday, he said, so I left and I was afraid, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to me: You stepped on my feet with your sandals yesterday. So you caused me pain, so I gave you a blow with the whip. These are eighty ewes, so take them with them.

أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ أَخِي الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ قَالَ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ أَهْلُ عَشَرَةِ أَبْيَاتٍ إِلَّا قَلَّبْتُهُمْ فَمَا وَجَدْتُ أَحَدًا أَشَدَّ إِنْفَاقًا لِهَذَا الْمَالِ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Yaqoub bin Humaid told us, Abd al-Aziz bin Muhammad told us, on the authority of my nephew al-Zuhri, on the authority of al-Zuhri, he said that Gabriel said “what is on the earth.” I turned them over, and I did not find anyone more diligent in spending this money than the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُقَيْلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكْثِرُ الذِّكْرَ وَيُقِلُّ اللَّغْوَ وَيُطِيلُ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُقْصِرُ الْخُطْبَةَ وَلَا يَأْنَفُ وَلَا يَسْتَنْكِفُ أَنْ يَمْشِيَ مَعَ الْأَرْمَلَةِ وَالْمِسْكِينِ فَيَقْضِيَ لَهُمَا حَاجَتَهُمَا

Muhammad bin Humayd told us, Al-Fadl bin Musa told us, Al-Hussein bin Waqid told us, on the authority of Yahya bin Aqeel, on the authority of Abdullah bin Abi Awfa. حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ قَالَ الْعَبَّاسُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ لَأَعْلَمَنَّ مَا بَقَاءُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِينَا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُهُمْ قَدْ آذَوْكَ وَآذَاكَ غُبَارُهُمْ فَلَوْ اتَّخَذْتَ عَرِيشًا تُكَلِّمُهُمْ مِنْهُ فَقَالَ لَا أَزَالُ بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِهِمْ يَطَئُونَ عَقِبِي وَيُنَازِعُونِي رِدَائِي حَتَّى يَكُونَ اللَّهُ هُوَ الَّذِي يُرِيحُنِي مِنْهُمْ قَالَ فَعَلِمْتُ أَنَّ بَقَاءَهُ فِينَا قَلِيلٌ

Suleiman bin Harb told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Ayyub, on the authority of Ikrimah, he said: Al-Abbas, may God Almighty be pleased with him, said: “We know best what The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, remains among us. He said, “O Messenger of God, I saw them harming you and their dust harming you. أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ عَنْ أُنَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ وَنَحْنُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ عَاصِبًا رَأْسَهُ بِخِرْقَةٍ حَتَّى أَهْوَى نَحْوَ الْمِنْبَرِ فَاسْتَوَى عَلَيْهِ وَاتَّبَعْنَاهُ قَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنِّي لَأَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْحَوْضِ مِنْ مَقَامِي هَذَا ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ عَبْدًا عُرِضَتْ عَلَيْهِ الدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتُهَا فَاخْتَارَ الْآخِرَةَ قَالَ فَلَمْ يَفْطِنْ لَهَا أَحَدٌ غَيْرُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَذَرَفَتْ عَيْنَاهُ فَبَكَى ثُمَّ قَالَ بَلْ نَفْدِيكَ بِآبَائِنَا وَأُمَّهَاتِنَا وَأَنْفُسِنَا وَأَمْوَالِنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ثُمَّ هَبَطَ فَمَا قَامَ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى السَّاعَةِ

Zakaria ibn Adi informed us, Hatim ibn Ismail informed us, on the authority of Unays ibn Abi Yahya, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, he said: It came out The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, is upon us during his illness in which he died while we were in the mosque, tying his head with a rag until he fell toward the pulpit. So he mounted it and we followed him. He said, “By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, I can see the basin from this position of mine.” Then he said, “A servant to whom the world has been presented.” She was beautified, so he chose the afterlife. He said, and no one thought of it except Abu Bakr. So his eyes filled with tears, and he cried. Then he said, “Rather, we sacrifice for you through our fathers.” And our mothers, and our lives, and our wealth, O Messenger of God. He said, then he descended and did not rise until this hour.

أَخْبَرَنَا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِسْحَقَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ عَنْ عُبَيْدٍ مَوْلَى الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي مُوَيْهِبَةَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي قَدْ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْتَغْفِرَ لِأَهْلِ الْبَقِيعِ فَانْطَلِقْ مَعِي فَانْطَلَقْتُ مَعَهُ فِي جَوْفِ اللَّيْلِ فَلَمَّا وَقَفَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَالَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَهْلَ الْمَقَابِرِ لِيُهْنِكُمْ مَا أَصْبَحْتُمْ فِيهِ مِمَّا أَصْبَحَ فِيهِ النَّاسُ أَقْبَلَتْ الْفِتَنُ كَقِطْعِ اللَّيْلِ الْمُظْلِمِ يَتْبَعُ آخِرُهَا أَوَّلَهَا الْآخِرَةُ أَشَدُّ مِنْ الْأُولَى ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيَّ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا مُوَيْهِبَةَ إِنِّي قَدْ أُوتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْخُلْدِ فِيهَا ثُمَّ الْجَنَّةُ فَخُيِّرْتُ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ وَبَيْنَ لِقَاءِ رَبِّي قُلْتُ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي خُذْ مَفَاتِيحَ خَزَائِنِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْخُلْدَ فِيهَا ثُمَّ الْجَنَّةَ قَالَ لَا وَاللَّهِ يَا أَبَا مُوَيْهِبَةَ لَقَدْ اخْتَرْتُ لِقَاءَ رَبِّي ثُمَّ اسْتَغْفَرَ لِأَهْلِ الْبَقِيعِ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ فَبُدِئَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي وَجَعِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ

Khalifa bin Khayat told us, Bakr bin Sulaiman told us, Ibn Ishaq told us, Abdullah bin Omar bin Ali bin Adi told me, on the authority of Ubaid. The client of Al-Hakam bin Abi Al-Aas, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, on the authority of Abu Muwayhibah, the client of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said: A messenger said to me God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, I have been commanded to ask forgiveness for the people of Al-Baqi’, so he set out with me, so I set off with him in the middle of the night, and when he stood over them He said, “Peace be upon you, O people of the graves. May what you have become easier than what people have become in. Trials have arrived like pieces of a dark night.” The last one follows, the first of which is more severe than the first. Then he came to me and said, O Abu Muwayhiba, indeed I have been given the keys to the treasures of the world. And an eternity therein, then Paradise, so I was given a choice between that and meeting my Lord. I said, “By my father, you and my mother, take the keys to the treasures of this world and an eternity therein.” Then Paradise. He said, “No, by God, O Abu Muwayhiba. I have chosen to meet my Lord.” Then he asked forgiveness for the people of Al-Baqi’. Then he left, and the Messenger of God began. May God bless him and grant him peace in the pain in which he died.

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَقَ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ رَجَعَ إِلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ مِنْ جَنَازَةٍ مِنْ الْبَقِيعِ فَوَجَدَنِي وَأَنَا أَجِدُ صُدَاعًا وَأَنَا أَقُولُ وَا رَأْسَاهُ قَالَ بَلْ أَنَا يَا عَائِشَةُ وَا رَأْسَاهُ قَالَ وَمَا ضَرَّكِ لَوْ مُتِّ قَبْلِي فَغَسَّلْتُكِ وَكَفَّنْتُكِ وَصَلَّيْتُ عَلَيْكِ وَدَفَنْتُكِ فَقُلْتُ لَكَأَنِّي بِكَ وَاللَّهِ لَوْ فَعَلْتَ ذَلِكَ لَرَجَعْتَ إِلَى بَيْتِي فَعَرَّسْتَ فِيهِ بِبَعْضِ نِسَائِكَ قَالَتْ فَتَبَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ بُدِئَ فِي وَجَعِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ

Al-Hakam bin Al-Mubarak told us, Muhammad bin Salamah told us, on the authority of Ibn Ishaq, on the authority of Yaqoub bin Utbah, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Ubaid Allah bin Abdullah bin Utbah, on the authority of Aisha, who said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, returned to me one day from a funeral in Al-Baqi’ and found me with I have a headache, and I say, “And the head of it.” He said, “Rather, I am, Aisha.” And the head of it is that he said, “It would not harm you if you died before me, so I washed you, shrouded you, and prayed.” And I buried you, so I said, “It is as if I am with you. By God, if I had done that, I would have returned to my house and had intercourse with some of your wives.” She said, and the Messenger smiled. May God bless him and grant him peace. Then he began to undergo the pain in which he died.

أَخْبَرَنَا فَرْوَةُ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَغْرَاءِ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُخْتَارٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَرَضِهِ صُبُّوا عَلَيَّ سَبْعَ قِرَبٍ مِنْ سَبْعِ آبَارٍ شَتَّى حَتَّى أَخْرُجَ إِلَى النَّاسِ فَأَعْهَدَ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَتْ فَأَقْعَدْنَاهُ فِي مِخْضَبٍ لِحَفْصَةَ فَصَبَبْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ صَبًّا أَوْ شَنَنَّا عَلَيْهِ شَنًّا الشَّكُّ مِنْ قِبَلِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَقَ فَوَجَدَ رَاحَةً فَخَرَجَ فَصَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لِلشُّهَدَاءِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ أُحُدٍ وَدَعَا لَهُمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَمَّا بَعْدُ فَإِنَّ الْأَنْصَارَ عَيْبَتِي الَّتِي أَوَيْتُ إِلَيْهَا فَأَكْرِمُوا كَرِيمَهُمْ وَتَجَاوَزُوا عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ إِلَّا فِي حَدٍّ أَلَا إِنَّ عَبْدًا مِنْ عِبَادِ اللَّهِ قَدْ خُيِّرَ بَيْنَ الدُّنْيَا وَبَيْنَ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ فَاخْتَارَ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ فَبَكَى أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ يَعْنِي نَفْسَهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى رِسْلِكَ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ سُدُّوا هَذِهِ الْأَبْوَابَ الشَّوَارِعَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ إِلَّا بَابَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَإِنِّي لَا أَعْلَمُ امْرَأً أَفْضَلَ عِنْدِي يَدًا فِي الصُّحْبَةِ مِنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ

Farwa bin Abi Al-Mughra told us, Ibrahim bin Mukhtar told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ishaq, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ka’b, on the authority of Urwa, on the authority of Aisha She said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said during his illness: “Pour on me seven waterskins from seven different wells until I go out to the people and entrust them with them.” She said: So We made him sit in Hafsa’s coffin and poured water over him, or we made a sling attack on him on the part of Muhammad bin Ishaq, and he found rest. So he went out and ascended the pulpit. He thanked God and praised Him. He asked forgiveness for the martyrs among the companions of Uhud and prayed for them. Then he said, “As for what follows: The Ansar are my fault to which I have been sent, so they honored their nobles and overlooked their wrongdoer, except to the extent that a servant of God was given a choice between This world and what is with God, so he chose what is with God, so Abu Bakr cried and thought he meant himself, so the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Your messengers, O Abu Bakr, block these doors on the streets to the mosque, except for the door of Abu Bakr, for I do not know of a better person with whom I have a hand in The companionship from Abu Bakr

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ أُوذِنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فِي مَرَضِهِ فَقَالَ مُرُوا أَبَا بَكْرٍ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ ثُمَّ أُغْمِيَ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمَّا سُرِّيَ عَنْهُ قَالَ هَلْ أَمَرْتُنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ فَقُلْتُ إِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ رَجُلٌ رَقِيقٌ فَلَوْ أَمَرْتَ عُمَرَ فَقَالَ أَنْتُنَّ صَوَاحِبُ يُوسُفَ مُرُوا أَبَا بَكْرٍ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ فَرُبَّ قَائِلٍ مُتَمَنٍّ وَيَأْبَى اللَّهُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ

Saeed bin Mansour told us, Fulayh bin Sulaiman told us, on the authority of Sulaiman bin Abdul Rahman, on the authority of Al-Qasim bin Muhammad, on the authority of Aisha, who said: The call to prayer The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, began praying during his illness. He said, “They saw Abu Bakr leading the people in prayer, then he fainted. When he was relieved, he said, ‘Did You ordered Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer, and I said that Abu Bakr is a gentle man. If you ordered Omar, he said, “You are the companions of Joseph. Order Abu Bakr to pray.” with the people, perhaps one who says is hopeful, but God and the believers refuse.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ هُوَ ابْنُ إِسْحَقَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي يَعِيشُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنِي مَكْحُولٌ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أَصَابَ أَحَدَكُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ فَلْيَذْكُرْ مُصِيبَتَهُ بِي فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ أَعْظَمِ الْمَصَائِبِ

Abdul Wahhab bin Saeed Al-Dimashqi told us, Shuaib told us, he is Ibn Ishaq, Al-Awza’i told us, Ya’ish bin Al-Walid told me, Ya’ish bin Al-Walid told me. It is known that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “If a calamity befalls one of you, let him mention his calamity to me, for it is one of the greatest calamities.”
