أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى هُوَ ابْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الزَّمْعِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ثِنْتَانِ لَا تُرَدَّانِ أَوْ قَلَّ مَا تُرَدَّانِ الدُّعَاءُ عِنْدَ النِّدَاءِ وَعِنْدَ الْبَأْسِ حِينَ يُلْحِمُ بَعْضُهُ بَعْضًا

Muhammad bin Yahya told us, Sa`id bin Abi Maryam told us, Musa told us, he is the son of Yaqub al-Zami’i, he said, Abu Hazim bin Dinar told me. He said: Sahl bin Saad told me that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Do not reject two times, or rarely do you want to supplicate at the call to prayer and at It is powerful when it joins one another.

أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ الْمُؤَذِّنَ فَقُولُوا مِثْلَ مَا يَقُولُ

Uthman ibn Umar informed us, Yunus informed us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Ata’ ibn Yazid, on the authority of Abu Sa’id, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said When you hear the muezzin, say what he says.

أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتَوَائِيُّ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ قَالَ دَخَلْنَا عَلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ فَنَادَى الْمُنَادِي فَقَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَه إِلَّا اللَّهُ قَالَ وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ قَالَ يَحْيَى وَأَخْبَرَنِي بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا أَنَّهُ لَمَّا قَالَ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ سَمِعْتُ نَبِيَّكُمْ يَقُولُ هَذَا

Yazid bin Harun informed us, Hisham Al-Dastawi informed us, on the authority of Yahya, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Al-Harith, on the authority of Isa bin Talha, he said We entered upon Muawiyah, and the herald called out, and he said, “God is the greatest, God is the greatest,” and Muawiyah said, “God is the greatest, God is the greatest.” He said, “I bear witness that there is no god but God said, “And I bear witness that there is no god but God.” He said, “I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God.” He said, “I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God.” Yahya said. أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ سَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ قَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَقَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ فَقَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ فَقَالَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ فَقَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَقَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا فَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Saeed bin Amir told us, Muhammad bin Amr told us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, that Muawiyah heard the muezzin say, “God is great, God is great,” so he said Mu'awiyah God is Greatest God is Greatest, so the muezzin said, I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, so Mu'awiyah said, I bear witness That there is no god but God, I bear witness that there is no god but God. The muezzin said, I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God. I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God, so he said Muawiyah I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God So the muezzin said, “Come to prayer. Come to prayer,” and he said, “There is neither power nor power.” Strength except in God, so the muezzin said, “Hail to the farmer, hail to the farmer,” so he said, “There is no power nor strength except in God,” so the muezzin said, “God is great, God is great.” “There is no god but God is great,” so he said, “God is great,” God is great, “There is no god but God,” and then he said, “This is what the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did.”

أَخْبَرَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِذَا نُودِيَ بِالصَّلَاةِ أَدْبَرَ الشَّيْطَانُ لَهُ ضُرَاطٌ حَتَّى لَا يَسْمَعَ الْأَذَانَ فَإِذَا قُضِيَ الْأَذَانُ أَقْبَلَ وَإِذَا ثُوِّبَ أَدْبَرَ فَإِذَا قُضِيَ التَّثْوِيبُ أَقْبَلَ حَتَّى يَخْطِرَ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَنَفْسِهِ فَيَقُولُ اذْكُرْ كَذَا وَكَذَا لِمَا لَمْ يَكُنْ يَذْكُرُ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد ثُوِّبَ يَعْنِي أُقِيمَ

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ رَأَى رَجُلًا خَرَجَ مِنْ الْمَسْجِدِ بَعْدَ مَا أَذَّنَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ فَقَالَ أَمَّا هَذَا فَقَدْ عَصَى أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ

Sa'id bin Amir told us on the authority of Shu'bah, on the authority of Ibrahim bin Muhajir, on the authority of Abu Al-Sha'atha' Al-Muharbi, that Abu Hurairah saw a man who came out of The mosque after the muezzin had called the call to prayer and said, “This man has disobeyed Abu al-Qasim.”

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ حِينَ زَاغَتْ الشَّمْسُ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ صَلَاةَ الظُّهْرِ

Al-Hakam bin Nafi’ told us, Shuaib told us on the authority of Al-Zuhri, Anas bin Malik told me that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, went out when things deviated. The sun rose and he led the noon prayer with them

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ وَأَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد هَذَا عِنْدِي عَلَى التَّأْخِيرِ إِذَا تَأَذَّوْا بِالْحَرِّ

Abdullah bin Salih told us, Al-Layth told me, Ibn Shihab told me, on the authority of Sa’id bin Al-Musayyab, and Abu Salamah bin Abdul Rahman, on the authority of my father. Huraira said that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “When the heat is intense, cool off with prayer, for the intensity of the heat is from the stench of Hell.” Abu Muhammad, this is my opinion regarding the delay if they are harmed by the heat.

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ ثُمَّ يَذْهَبُ الذَّاهِبُ إِلَى الْعَوَالِي فَيَأْتِيهَا وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ

Ubayd Allah bin Musa told us on the authority of Ibn Abi Dhib, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Anas, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to pray the afternoon prayer and then The one who goes to the highlands goes and comes to them while the sun is high.

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ هُوَ ابْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ سَاعَةَ تَغْرُبُ الشَّمْسُ إِذَا غَابَ حَاجِبُهَا

Ishaq told us: He is the son of Ibrahim Al-Hanthali. Safwan bin Issa told us, on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Ubaid, on the authority of Salamah bin Al-Akwa’, who said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to pray Maghrib at the time of sunset when its visor had set.

أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ الْأَحْنَفِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ الْعَبَّاسِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَزَالُ أُمَّتِي بِخَيْرٍ مَا لَمْ يَنْتَظِرُوا بِالْمَغْرِبِ اشْتِبَاكَ النُّجُومِ

Ibrahim bin Musa informed us, on the authority of Abbad bin Al-Awwam, on the authority of Omar bin Ibrahim, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Al-Hasan, on the authority of Al-Ahnaf bin Qais, on the authority of Al-Abbas. أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ النَّاسِ بِوَقْتِ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةِ يَعْنِي صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّيهَا لِسُقُوطِ الْقَمَرِ لِثَالِثَةٍ قَالَ يَحْيَى أَمَلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ كِتَابِهِ عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ

Yahya bin Hammad told us, Abu Awanah told us, on the authority of Abu Bishr, on the authority of Bashir bin Thabit, on the authority of Habib bin Salim, on the authority of Al-Nu’man bin Bashir said, “By God, I am the most knowledgeable of people about the time of this prayer,” meaning the evening prayer. أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ بَهْدَلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أَخَّرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ حَتَّى كَادَ أَنْ يَذْهَبَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ أَوْ قَرِيبُهُ فَجَاءَ وَالنَّاسُ رُقَّدٌ وَهُمْ عِزُونَ وَهِيَ حِلَقٌ فَغَضِبَ فَقَالَ لَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا نَدَى النَّاسَ وَقَالَ عَمْرٌو نَدَبَ النَّاسَ إِلَى عَرْقٍ أَوْ مِرْمَاتَيْنِ لَأَجَابُوا إِلَيْهِ وَهُمْ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنْ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةِ لَهَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ رَجُلًا لِيُصَلِّيَ بِالنَّاسِ ثُمَّ أَتَخَلَّفَ عَلَى أَهْلِ هَذِهِ الدُّورِ الَّذِينَ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنْ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةِ فَأُضْرِمَهَا عَلَيْهِمْ بِالنِّيرَانِ

Hajjaj bin Minhal and Amr bin Asim told us, saying: Hammad bin Salama told us, Asim bin Bahdala told us, on the authority of Abu Salih, on the authority of Abu Huraira said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, delayed the evening prayer one night until a third or so of the night had almost passed, so he came And the people lay down, feeling comforted, and she was shaved, so he became angry and said, “If a man had called out to the people,” and Amr said, “If only a man had called out to the people for a battle or two, they would have responded.” To him while they were neglecting this prayer, I decided to order a man to lead the people in prayer, then I would leave behind the people of this village who were lagging behind. أَخْبَرَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ أَعْتَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْعِشَاءِ حَتَّى نَادَاهُ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ قَدْ نَامَ النِّسَاءُ وَالصِّبْيَانُ فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ يُصَلِّي هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ غَيْرَكُمْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ أَحَدٌ يُصَلِّي يَوْمَئِذٍ غَيْرَ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ

Nasr bin Ali told us, Abdul Ala told us, on the authority of Muammar, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Urwa, on the authority of Aisha, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, became blind. He greeted him for dinner until Omar ibn al-Khattab called him. The women and children had fallen asleep, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came out and said that it was not None of the people of the earth would pray this prayer except you, and no one would pray that day except the people of Medina.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ أَنَّ أُمَّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَخْبَرَتْهُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ أَعْتَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ حَتَّى ذَهَبَ عَامَّةُ اللَّيْلِ وَرَقَدَ أَهْلُ الْمَسْجِدِ فَخَرَجَ فَصَلَّاهَا فَقَالَ إِنَّهَا لَوَقْتُهَا لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي

Ishaq told us, Muhammad bin Bakr told us, Ibn Jurayj told us, Al-Mughirah bin Hakim told us that Umm Kulthum is the daughter of Abu Bakr. She told him about Aisha, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, darkened one night until the rest of the night had passed and the people of the mosque slept. So he went out and prayed it, and said, “It is the time for it, had I not made it difficult for my nation.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَلَفٍ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ح وَابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخَّرَ الصَّلَاةَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ فَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ الصَّلَاةَ نَامَ النِّسَاءُ وَالْوِلْدَانُ فَخَرَجَ وَهُوَ يَمْسَحُ الْمَاءَ عَنْ شِقِّهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ هُوَ الْوَقْتُ لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي

Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Abi Khalaf informed us, Sufyan informed us, on the authority of Amr, on the authority of Ata, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj, on the authority of Ata, on the authority of Ibn Abbas said that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, delayed the prayer one night, and it was said, O Messenger of God, the prayer, the women and the children fell asleep, and he went out. And he was wiping the water from his crack and saying, “It is the time, had I not made it difficult for my nation.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كُنَّ نِسَاءُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّينَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْفَجْرَ ثُمَّ يَرْجِعْنَ مُتَلَفِّعَاتٍ بِمُرُوطِهِنَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُعْرَفْنَ

Muhammad bin Yusuf told us, Al-Awza’i told us, Al-Zuhri told me, Urwa told me, on the authority of Aisha, who said: The wives of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, were They pray dawn with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and then return, wrapped in their cloaks, before they are known.

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَقَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَسْفِرُوا بِصَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ فَإِنَّهُ أَعْظَمُ لِلْأَجْرِ

Hajjaj bin Minhal told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ishaq, on the authority of Asim bin Omar bin Qatada, on the authority of Mahmoud bin Labid, on the authority of Rafi’ Ibn Khadij, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Lead the morning prayer, for it is greater in reward.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَوِّرُوا بِصَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ فَإِنَّهُ أَعْظَمُ لِلْأَجْرِ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ نَحْوَهُ أَوْ أَسْفِرُوا

Muhammad ibn Yusuf informed us, Sufyan informed us, on the authority of Ibn Ajlan, on the authority of Asim ibn Umar ibn Qatada, on the authority of Mahmoud ibn Labid, on the authority of Rafi’ ibn Khadij said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Enlighten yourselves with the dawn prayer, for it is greater in reward.” Abu Nu’aym told us on the authority of Sufyan on the authority of Ibn Ajlan is like him or Asfaru.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنْ صَلَاةٍ رَكْعَةً فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَا أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِهِ
