Hadith 1,194Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ وَعَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ يُحَدِّثُونَهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنْ الصُّبْحِ رَكْعَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَا وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنْ الْعَصْرِ رَكْعَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَا
Ubayd Allah ibn Abdul Majeed informed us, Malik informed us, on the authority of Zayd ibn Aslam, on the authority of Ata’ ibn Yasar, on the authority of Busr ibn Sa’id, and on the authority of Abd Al-Rahman Al-Araj narrates on the authority of Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Whoever performs a rak’ah of Fajr prayer before it rises The sun has reached it, and whoever performs one rak’ah of the afternoon prayer before the sun sets has reached it.
Hadith 1,195Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ أَبِي السَّمْحِ عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ الرَّجُلَ يَعْتَادُ الْمَسَاجِدَ فَاشْهَدُوا لَهُ بِالْإِيمَانِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ { إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ }
Abdullah bin Al-Zubayr Al-Humaidi told us, Abdullah bin Wahb told us, on the authority of Amr bin Al-Harith, on the authority of Darraj Abi Al-Samh, on the authority of Abi Al-Haytham On the authority of Abu Sa`id al-Khudri, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said: If you see a man frequenting the mosques, bear witness to his faith, for God says {The mosques of God are inhabited only by he who believes in God}
Hadith 1,196Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي سَهْلٍ قَالَ ح و أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ كَانَ كَقِيَامِ نِصْفِ لَيْلَةٍ وَمَنْ صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ كَانَ كَقِيَامِ لَيْلَةٍ
Muhammad ibn Yusuf informed us, Sufyan informed us, on the authority of Abu Sahl, he said: H, and Abu Nu`aym informed us, Sufyan informed us, on the authority of Uthman ibn Hakim, on the authority of Abdul Rahman bin Abi Amra, on the authority of Uthman, said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Whoever prays Isha’ in a group, it will be like standing for half the night. one night, and whoever prays Fajr in congregation, it will be like standing in prayer all night.
Hadith 1,197Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ عَيْزَارٍ أَخْبَرَنِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيَّ يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي صَاحِبُ هَذِهِ الدَّارِ وَأَوْمَأَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى دَارِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّ الْعَمَلِ أَفْضَلُ أَوْ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ قَالَ الصَّلَاةُ عَلَى مِيقَاتِهَا
Abu Al-Walid Al-Tayalisi told us, Shu’bah told us, Al-Walid bin Aizar told me, he said, I heard Abu Amr Al-Shaybani saying, “Tell me.” The owner of this house and gestured with his hand to Abdullah’s house. He asked the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, which work is better or more beloved to God. He said the prayer at its appointed time

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ هُوَ ابْنُ النُّعْمَانِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي سَعْدُ بْنُ إِسْحَقَ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ كَعْبٍ قَالَ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ سَبْعَةٌ مِنَّا ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنْ عَرَبِنَا وَأَرْبَعَةٌ مِنْ مَوَالِينَا أَوْ أَرْبَعَةٌ مِنْ عَرَبِنَا وَثَلَاثَةٌ مِنْ مَوَالِينَا قَالَ فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ بَعْضِ حُجَرِهِ حَتَّى جَلَسَ إِلَيْنَا فَقَالَ مَا يُجْلِسُكُمْ هَاهُنَا قُلْنَا انْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ فَنَكَتَ بِإِصْبَعِهِ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَنَكَسَ سَاعَةً ثُمَّ رَفَعَ إِلَيْنَا رَأْسَهُ فَقَالَ هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَا يَقُولُ رَبُّكُمْ قَالَ قُلْنَا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ إِنَّهُ يَقُولُ مَنْ صَلَّى الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا فَأَقَامَ حَدَّهَا كَانَ لَهُ بِهِ عَلَيَّ عَهْدٌ أُدْخِلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا وَلَمْ يُقِمْ حَدَّهَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ عِنْدِي عَهْدٌ إِنْ شِئْتُ أَدْخَلْتُهُ النَّارَ وَإِنْ شِئْتُ أَدْخَلْتُهُ الْجَنَّةَ
Abu Nu`aym told us, Abdul Rahman told us, he is Ibn al-Nu`man al-Ansari, Sa`d bin Ishaq bin Ka`b bin Ujrah al-Ansari told me. On the authority of his father, on the authority of Ka’b, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came out to us while we were in the mosque, seven of us, three of our Arabs and four of us. Of our loyalists, or four of our Arabs and three of our loyalists. He said, “So the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, came out to us from some of his chambers until he sat down with us.” So he said, “What makes you sit here?” We said, “Waiting for prayer.” He said, “So he poked his finger on the ground and sat down for an hour, then he raised his head to us and said, ‘Is it? Do you know what your Lord says? He said, “We said, ‘Allah and His Messenger know best.’ He said, ‘He who prays the prayer at its appointed time and performs its limit has the right to do so over me.’” A covenant that I will admit him to Paradise, and whoever does not perform the prayer at its time and does not perform its limit will not have a covenant with Me. If I wish, I will admit him to Hell, and if I will I admitted him to Paradise
Hadith 1,199Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ بُدَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ الْبَرَّاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ كَيْفَ أَنْتَ إِذَا بَقِيتَ فِي قَوْمٍ يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلَاةَ عَنْ وَقْتِهَا قَالَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ صَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا وَاخْرُجْ فَإِنْ أُقِيمَتْ الصَّلَاةُ وَأَنْتَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَصَلِّ مَعَهُمْ
Sahl bin Hammad told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Badil, on the authority of Abu Al-Aliyah Al-Bara, on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Samit, on the authority of Abu Dhar, that the Prophet May God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He said to him, “How will you do if you remain among a people who delay the prayer beyond its appointed time?” He said, “God and His Messenger know best.” He said, “Pray the prayer.” At that time, go out, and if the prayer is established while you are in the mosque, pray with them.
Hadith 1,200Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ كَيْفَ تَصْنَعُ إِذَا أَدْرَكْتَ أُمَرَاءَ يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلَاةَ عَنْ وَقْتِهَا قُلْتُ مَا تَأْمُرُنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ صَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا وَاجْعَلْ صَلَاتَكَ مَعَهُمْ نَافِلَةً قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد ابْنُ الصَّامِتِ هُوَ ابْنُ أَخِي أَبِي ذَرٍّ
Yazid bin Harun told us, Hammam told us, Abu Imran Al-Juni told us, on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Samit, on the authority of Abu Dharr, he said, the Messenger of God said God, may God bless him and grant him peace, O Abu Dharr, how would you do if you came across leaders delaying the prayer beyond its appointed time? I said, “What do you command me, O Messenger of God?” He said Pray the prayer at its appointed time and make your prayer with them voluntary. Abu Muhammad Ibn al-Samit said: He is the son of my brother Abu Dharr.
Hadith 1,201Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ نَسِيَ صَلَاةً أَوْ نَامَ عَنْهَا فَلْيُصَلِّهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى يَقُولُ { أَقِمْ الصَّلَاةَ لِذِكْرِي }
Sa'id bin Amir told us, on the authority of Sa'id, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Anas, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Whoever forgets a prayer or falls asleep during it... So let him pray it when he remembers it. God Almighty says: “Establish the prayer in remembrance of Me.”
Hadith 1,202Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ يَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ إِنَّ الَّذِي تَفُوتُهُ الصَّلَاةُ صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ فَكَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ
Muhammad bin Yusuf told us, Ibn Uyaynah told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Salim, on the authority of his father, who narrates it, saying: “The one who misses the prayer is the afternoon prayer.” It is as if he was protecting his family and wealth.
Hadith 1,203Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ فَاتَتْهُ صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ فَكَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد أَوْ مَالَهُ
Muhammad bin Yusuf told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Ubayd Allah, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Who He missed the afternoon prayer, and it was as if he had left his family and his children, said Abu Muhammad, or his wealth.
Hadith 1,204Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ مَلَأَ اللَّهُ قُبُورَهُمْ وَبُيُوتَهُمْ نَارًا كَمَا حَبَسُونَا عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى حَتَّى غَابَتْ الشَّمْسُ
Yazid bin Harun informed us, Hisham bin Hassan informed us, on the authority of Muhammad, on the authority of Ubaida, on the authority of Ali, he said, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said On the Day of the Trench, God filled their graves and their homes with fire, just as they detained us from the middle prayer until the sun set.
Hadith 1,205Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ أَوْ قَالَ جَابِرٌ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ بَيْنَ الْعَبْدِ وَبَيْنَ الشِّرْكِ وَبَيْنَ الْكُفْرِ إِلَّا تَرْكُ الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ لِي أَبُو مُحَمَّد الْعَبْدُ إِذَا تَرَكَهَا مِنْ غَيْرِ عُذْرٍ وَعِلَّةٍ وَلَا بُدَّ مِنْ أَنْ يُقَالَ بِهِ كُفْرٌ وَلَمْ يَصِفْ بِالْكُفْرِ
Abu Asim told us on the authority of Ibn Jurayj. Abu al-Zubayr told us that he heard Jabir say, or Jabir said, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said There is nothing between the servant and polytheism and disbelief except the abandonment of prayer. Abu Muhammad told me the servant if he left it without an excuse or a reason, and it must be said There is disbelief in him, but he was not described as disbelief.
Hadith 1,206Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا النَّاسُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ فِي قُبَاءٍ جَاءَهُمْ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ وَأُمِرَ أَنْ يَسْتَقْبِلَ الْكَعْبَةَ فَاسْتَقْبِلُوهَا وَكَانَ وُجُوهُ النَّاسِ إِلَى الشَّامِ فَاسْتَدَارُوا فَوَجَّهُوا إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ
Yahya bin Hassan told us, Sulayman bin Bilal told us, on the authority of Abdullah bin Dinar, on the authority of Ibn Omar, he said, “While the people were in the dawn prayer in Quba’ A man came to them and said that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, the Qur’an was revealed to him and he was commanded to face the Kaaba, so they faced it and it was The people's faces were towards the Levant, then they turned around and faced the Kaaba.
Hadith 1,207Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ مَاتُوا وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى { وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُضِيعَ إِيمَانَكُمْ }
Ubayd Allah ibn Musa informed us on the authority of Israel, on the authority of Ikrimah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas. It was said: O Messenger of God, have you seen those who died while praying? To the Holy House, then God Almighty revealed {And God would not cause your faith to be lost}
Hadith 1,208Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا بُدَيْلٌ الْعُقَيْلِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَوْزَاءِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَفْتَتِحُ الصَّلَاةَ بِالتَّكْبِيرِ وَيَفْتَتِحُ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ وَيَخْتِمُهَا بِالتَّسْلِيمِ
Ja'far bin Aoun told us on the authority of Sa'id bin Abi Arouba, Badil Al-Uqaili told us, on the authority of Abi Al-Jawza, on the authority of Aisha, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, opens the prayer with the takbir, begins the recitation with praise to God, Lord of the worlds, and concludes it with salutations.
Hadith 1,209Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الْحَنَفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَقُومُ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ إِلَّا رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ مَدًّا
Ubayd Allah ibn Abd al-Majid al-Hanafi told us, Ibn Abi Dhib told us, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Ata, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Abd. Al-Rahman bin Thawban, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, would not stand up for prayer without raising his hands outstretched.

أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَمِّهْ الْمَاجِشُونَ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ كَبَّرَ ثُمَّ قَالَ وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا أَنَا مِنْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ { إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَبِذَلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ } اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الْمَلِكُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَنْتَ رَبِّي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي وَاعْتَرَفْتُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي جَمِيعًا لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَاهْدِنِي لِأَحْسَنِ الْأَخْلَاقِ لَا يَهْدِي لِأَحْسَنِهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّي سَيِّئَهَا لَا يَصْرِفُ سَيِّئَهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ وَالْخَيْرُ كُلُّهُ فِي يَدَيْكَ وَالشَّرُّ لَيْسَ إِلَيْكَ أَنَا بِكَ وَإِلَيْكَ تَبَارَكْتَ وَتَعَالَيْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ
Yahya bin Hassan told us, Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah bin Abi Salamah told us, on the authority of his uncle Al-Majshun, on the authority of Al-Araj, on the authority of Ubaid Allah. Ibn Abi Rafi’ on the authority of Ali Ibn Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, who said: When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, opened the prayer, he said “Allahu Akbar” and then said: I have turned my face to Him who created the heavens and the earth, being upright, and I am not of the polytheists. a partner for him, and to this I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims.} O God, You are the King, there is no god but You. You are my Lord and I am your servant. And I confessed my sin, so forgive me all my sins. No one can forgive sins except You. And guide me to the best of morals. No one guides me to the best of them except You. You, and turn away from me its evil. No one can turn away its evil except You. You are here with me and Your happiness, and all good is in Your hands, and evil is not up to you. I am through you. To You, Blessed and exalted, I seek Your forgiveness and I repent to You.
Hadith 1,211Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَامَ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ فَكَبَّرَ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ السَّمِيعِ الْعَلِيمِ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ مِنْ هَمْزِهِ وَنَفْثِهِ وَنَفْخِهِ ثُمَّ يَسْتَفْتِحُ صَلَاتَهُ قَالَ جَعْفَرٌ وَفَسَّرَهُ مَطَرٌ هَمْزُهُ الْمُوتَةُ وَنَفْثُهُ الشِّعْرُ وَنَفْخُهُ الْكِبْرُ
Zakariya bin Adi told us, Ja’far bin Sulaiman told us, on the authority of Ali bin Ali, on the authority of Abu Al-Mutawakkil, on the authority of Abu Sa’id, he said, “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was Peace and blessings of God be upon him, when he got up at night and said “Allahu Akbar,” he said, “Glory be to You, O God, and with Your praise, and blessed be Your name and exalted be He. Your grandfather, and there is no god but You. I seek refuge in Allah.” The All-Hearing, the All-Knowing from the accursed Satan, from his whispering, his blowing, and his blowing, then he begins his prayer. Ja’far said, and he interpreted it as a rain of death. And poetry exudes it, and pride exudes it.
Hadith 1,212Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا يَفْتَتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِ { الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ } قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد بِهَذَا نَقُولُ وَلَا أَرَى الْجَهْرَ بِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Muslim bin Ibrahim told us, Hisham told us, Qatada told us, on the authority of Anas, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, Abu Bakr, Omar, and Uthman They used to begin the recitation with {Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds}. Abu Muhammad said: This is what we say, and I do not think it should be recited out loud, with “In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.”
Hadith 1,213Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى الْيُسْرَى قَرِيبًا مِنْ الرُّسْغِ
Abu Nu`aym told us, Zuhair told us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Abdul-Jabbar bin Wa’il, on the authority of his father, he said, “I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.” He said peace, placing his right hand on his left hand, close to the wrist.
