Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ "‏ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Muhammad bin Rumh] said, has told us [Al Laits bin Sa'd] from [Abu Az Zubair] from [Jabir] said; "Mu'adz bin Jabal prayed the evening prayer with his companions by extending his reading. So the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said to him: "Recite WASY SYAMSI WA DLUHAHA (By the sun and its light in the morning), SABBIHISMA RABBIKAL A'LA (Sanctify the name of your Lord, the Most High) and WAL LAILI IDZA YAGHSYA (By the night when it covers (the light of the day)). And read BISMI RABBIKA (Read with (mention) the name of your Lord (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 836.) 2nd hadith. God bless you God bless you بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنَ Allah's blessings صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ ‏ "‏ لاَ صَلاَةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ فِيهَا بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to us [Hisyam bin Ammar] and [Sahl bin Abu Sahl] and [Ishaq bin Ismail] they said; has told us [Sufyan bin Uyainah] from [Az Zuhri] from [Mahmud bin Ar Rabi'] from [Ubadah bin Ash Shamit] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "There is no prayer for those who do not read in it the Fatihatul Book (Al Fatihah) (Degree: authentic. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ مَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing خِدَاجٌ غَيْرُ تَمَامٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقُلْتُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ فَإِنِّي أَكُونُ أَحْيَانًا وَرَاءَ الإِمَامِ ‏.‏ فَغَمَزَ God willing ‏.‏. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Isma'il bin Ulayyah] from [Ibn Juraij] from [Al 'Ala` bin 'Abdurrahman bin Ya'qub] that [Abu As Sa`ib] reported to him, that he heard [Abu Hurairah] say; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever performs prayer and does not read the Ummul Qur'an in it is lacking and imperfect." I asked, "O Abu Hurairah, sometimes I am behind the imam," then he pinched my arm and said; "O Persian, recite in your heart (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 838.) 4th Hadith. God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ لاَ صَلاَةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ فِي كُلِّ رَكْعَةٍ بِـ ‏{الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ‏}‏ وَسُورَةٍ فِي فَرِيضَةٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Abu Kuraib] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Al Fudlail]. (in another way it is mentioned) Has told us [Suwaid bin Sa'id] said, has told us [Ali bin Mushir] everything from [Abu Sufyan As Sa'di] from [Abu Nadlrah] from [Abu Sa'id] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "There is no prayer for anyone who does not recite AL HAMDULILLAH (Al Fatihah) and the surah in every raka'at, whether fardlu prayer or any other (Degree: authentic. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ "" فِيهَا بِأُمِّ الْكِتَابِ فَهِيَ خِدَاجٌ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Al Fadll bin Ya`qub Al Jazari] said, has told us [Abdul A'la] from [Muhammad bin Ishaq] from [Yahya bin Abbad bin Abdullah bin Az Zubair] from [his father] from [Aisyah] he said; "I heard Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Every prayer that is not recited in the Ummul Book (Al Fatihah) is lacking (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 840.) 6th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ السَّلا may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing وسلم ـ قَالَ ‏ "‏ كُلُّ صَلاَةٍ لاَ يُقْرَأُ فِيهَا بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ فَهِيَ خِدَاجٌ فَهِيَ خِدَاجٌ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Al Walid bin Amru bin Sukain] said, has told us [Yusuf bin Ya'qub As Sal'i] said, has told us [Husain Al Mu'allim] from [Amru bin Syu'aib] from [his father] from [his grandfather] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Every prayer that is not recited in it is the Fatihatul Book (Al Fatihah), then if the prayer is lacking, then the prayer is perfect (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 841.) 7th Hadith. God bless you God bless you يُونُسَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ God willing God bless you God bless you قِرَاءَةٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ نَعَمْ ‏"‏ ‏." Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] said, has told us [Ishaq bin Sulaiman] said, has told us [Mu'awiyah bin Yahya] from [Yunus bin Maisarah] from [Abu Idris Al Khaulani] from [Abu Darda`] he said; "A man asked him, he said; "I read when the imam reads," Abu Darda` answered, "A man asked the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam; Is there a reading in every prayer?" Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam answered: "Yes," then said a man from them, "This matter is obligatory (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 842.) 8th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدَ God willing God willing نَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ خَلْفَ الإِمَامِ فِي God willing وَسُورَةٍ وَفِي الأُخْرَيَيْنِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ ‏.‏. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] said, has told us [Sa'id bin Amir] said, has told us [Syu'bah] from [Mis'ar] from [Yazid Al Fuqiri] from [Jabir bin Abdullah] he said, "In midday and Asr prayers we always read the Fatihatul Buku (Al Fatihah) behind the imam. In the first two rak'ahs we read the Fatihatul Kita and one surah. While in the two rak'ahs finally only with Fatihatul Buku (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 843.) 9th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا جَمِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنْ God willing قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، قَالَ God willing وسلم ـ ‏.‏ فَأَنْكَرَ ذَلِكَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ فَكَتَبْنَا إِلَى أُبَىِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَكَتَبَ God bless you لِقَتَادَةَ مَا هَاتَانِ السَّكْتَتَانِ قَالَ إِذَا دَخَلَ فِي God willing بَعْدُ وَإِذَا قَرَأَ ‏{غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَم الضَّالِّينَ} ‏ ‏ مِنَ الْقِرَاءَةِ أَنْ يَسْكُتَ حَتَّى يَتَرَادَِ نَفَسُهُ ‏.‏. Has told us [Jamil Ibnul Husain bin Jamil Al 'Ataki] said, has told us [Abdul A'la] said, has told us [Sa'id] from [Qatadah] from [Al Hasan] from [Samurah bin Jundub] he said, "There are two saktah (pause does not read the reading) that I memorized from Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam," but this was denied by Imran bin Hushain. So we wrote a letter to [Ubai bin Ka'ab] in Medina, and Ubai wrote in reply that Samurah had memorized it. " Sa'id said; "we asked Qatadah, "Where are the two sactahs located?" he answered, "If he has entered prayer and when he has finished reading the reading (Al Fatihah)." After that he said again, "If he reads GHAIRIL MAGHDLUUBI 'ALAIHIM WALADLDLAALLIIN." He said; "What makes him ta'ajub is being silent after reading the reading (Al Fatihah), until his heart feels doubtful (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 844.) 10th Hadith. مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ خِدَاشٍ، وَعَلِيُّ God bless you God bless you قَالَ قَالَ سَمُرَةُ حَفِظْتُ سَكْتَتَيْنِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ ‏.‏ فَأَنْكَرَ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ فَكَتَبُوا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ إِلَى أُبَىِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ فَصَدَّقَ سَمُرَةَ ‏.‏. It has been told to us that [Muhammad bin Khalid bin Khidasy] and [Ali Ibnul Husain bin Isykab] both said; has told us [Isma'il bin Ulayyah] from [Yunus] from [Al Hasan] he said; [Samurah] said, "In prayer I memorize two saktahs; before reading and when bowing." But Imran Ibnul Hushain denied it, until they sent a letter to [Ubai bin Ka'ab] in Medina, and Ubai confirmed the Samurah (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 845.) 11th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ "‏"‏ جُعِلَ الإِمَامُ لِيُؤْتَمَّ بِهِ فَإِذَا كَبَّرَ فَكَبِّرُوا وَإِذَا قَرَأَ فَأَنْصِتُوا وَإِذَا قَالَ ‏{غَيْرِ God willing وَإِذَا رَكَعَ فَارْكَعُوا وَإِذَا قَالَ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ God willing ‏.‏ God وَإِذَا سَجَدَ فَاسْجُدُوا وَإِذَا صَلَّى جَالِسًا فَصَلُّوا جُلُوسًا أَجْمَعِينَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Abu Khalid Al Ahmar] from [Ibn 'Ajlan] from [Zaid bin Aslam] from [Abu Salih] from [Abu Hurairah] he said; Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "He is made an imam so that he is followed, if he is takbir then do takbir, if he reads then listen, if he reads WALADL DLAALLIIN then say AMEN. If he bows then bow, if he says SAMI'A ALLAHU LIMAN HAMIDAHU then say ALLAHUMMA RABBANA WA LAKAL HAMDU, if he prostrates then prostrate yourself, and if he prays sitting then pray all of you sitting (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 846.) 12th Hadith. God bless you Allah's blessings God willing God willing رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ "" God willing فَلْيَكُنْ أَوَّلَ ذِكْرِ أَحَدِكُمُ التَّشَهُّدُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Yusuf bin Musa Al Qaththan] said, has told us [Jarir] from [Sulaiman At Taimi] from [Qatadah] from [Abu Ghallab] from [Hithan bin Abdullah Ar Raqasyi] from [Abu Musa Al Asy'ari] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If the imam reads then keep quiet, and if he sits then let the first dhikr you say be tasyahud (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 847.) 13th Hadith. God willing God willing God bless you هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ بِأَصْحَابِهِ صَلاَةً نَظُنُِ هَلْ قَرَأَ مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ رَجُلٌ أَنَا ‏"‏ إِنِّي أَقُولُ مَا لِي أُنَازَعُ الْقُرْآنَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Hisyam bin Ammar] both said; has told us [Sufyan bin Uyainah] from [Az Zuhri] from [Ibn Ukaimah] said; I heard [Abu Hurairah] say; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prayed with his companions which we thought was the morning prayer. He said: "Do any of you read?" [Az Zuhri] from [Ibnu Ukaimah] from [Abu Hurairah] he said; "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prayed with us, then he mentioned as in the hadith. But he added, he said; "The Companions are silent in the prayer which the imam aloud in reciting (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 848.) 14th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ "" إِمَامٌ فَإِنَّ قِرَاءَةَ الإِمَامِ لَهُ قِرَاءَةٌ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] said, has told us [Ubaidullah bin Musa] from [Al Hasan bin Salih] from [Jabir] from [Abu Az Zubair] from [Jabir] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever has (prayers with) an imam, then the imam's reading is his reading (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 850.) 15th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِذَا أَمَّنَ الْقَارِئُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّ God bless you God bless you ‏.‏. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Hisyam bin Ammar] both said; has told us [Sufyan bin Uyainah] from [Az Zuhri] from [Sa'id Ibnul Musayyab] from [Abu Hurairah] that Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If the Qari` (imam) reads AMIIN then read AMIIN, verily the angels also read it. So whoever reads AMIIN at the same time as the angels read, his past sins will be forgiven (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 851.) 16th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا بَces قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ God willing, God willing, God willing قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، God willing وَأَبِي، سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ إِذَا أَمَّنَ الْقَارِئُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَمَنْ وَافَقَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to us that [Bakr bin Khalaf] and [Jamil Ibnul Hasan] both said; has told us [Abdul A'la] said, has told us [Ma'mar]. (in another line mentioned) Has told us [Ahmad bin Amru bin As Sarh Al Mishri] and [Hasyim Ibnul Qasim Al Harrani] both said; has told us [Abdullah bin Wahb] from [Yunus] everything from [Az Zuhri] from [Sa'id Ibnul Musayyab] and [Abu Salamah bin 'Abdurrahman] from [Abu Hurairah] he said; Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If the Qari` (imam) reads AMIIN then read AMIIN, whoever reads AMIIN at the same time as the angel's reading, then his past sins will be forgiven (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 852.) 17th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing اللَّهِ ابْنْ قَالَ تَرَكَ النَّاسُ التَّأْمِينَ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ}‏ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ آمِينَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ حَتَّى يَسْمَعَهَا أَهْلُ الصَّفِّ الأَم بِهَا الْمَسْجِدُ ‏.‏. Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] said, has told us [Shofwan bin Isa] said, has told us [Bisyr bin Rafi'] from [Abu Abbdullah bin Ammi Abu Hurairah] from [Abu Hurairah] he said; "Many people left reading AMIIN, even though Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam if he read GHAIRIL MAGHDLUUBI 'ALAIHIM WALADL DLALLIIN he said AMIIN until the people in the first row heard it, and the mosque roared (Degree: authentic. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing إِذَا قَالَ ‏{وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ}‏ قَالَ ‏ "‏ آمِينَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Humaid bin 'Abdurrahman] said, has told us [Ibn Abu Laila] from [Salamah bin Kuhail] from [Hujayyah bin Adi] from [Ali] he said; "I heard Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam when reading WALADL DLALLIIN, he said AMEN (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 854.) 19th hadith. God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَلَمَّا قَالَ ‏{وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ}‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏ "‏ آمِينَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَسَمِعْنَاهَا مِنْهُ ‏.‏. It has been told to us that [Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah] and [Ammar bin Khalid Al Wasithi] both said; has told us [Abu Bakr bin Ayyasy] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Abdul Jabbar bin Wa`il] from [his father] he said; "I once prayed with the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, so when I read WALADL DLALLIIN, he said AMEN until we heard it (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 855.) 20th hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ ‏ "‏ مَا حَسَدَتْكُمُ الْيَهُودُ عَلَى شَىْءٍ مَا حَسَدَتْكُمْ عَلَى السَّلاَمِ وَالتَّأْمِينِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Ishaq bin Manshur] said, has told us [Abdu Ash Shamad bin Abdul Warits] said, has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] said, has told us [Suhail bin Abu Salih] from [his father] from [Aisyah] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "There is nothing that the Jews envy you for anything other than reading greetings and amen (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 856.) 21st Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you prayer may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنْ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ مَا حَسَدَتْكُمُ الْيَهُودُ عَلَى God bless you آمِينَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Al Abbas bin Al Walid Al Khallal Ad Dimasyqi] said, has told us [Marwan bin Muhammad] and [Abu Mushir] both said; has told us [Khalid bin Yazid bin Salih bin Shubaih Al Murri] said, has told us [Thalhah bin Amru] from ['Atho`] from [Ibn Abbas] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The Jews do not envy you for anything, as they envy you for saying Amen, so multiply saying Amen (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 857.) 22nd Hadith. God bless you وَأَبُو عُمَرَ الضَّرِيرُ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ. وَلاَ يَرْفَعُ بَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ ‏.‏. It has been told to us [Ali bin Muhammad] and [Hisyam bin Ammar] and [Abu Umar Adl Dlarir] they said; has told us [Sufyan bin Uyainah] from [Az Zuhri] from [Salim] from [Ibn Umar] he said; "I saw the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam when he opened the prayer, he raised his hands until they were parallel to his shoulders, the same was true when bowing and when he lifted his head from bowing. But he did not raise them when sitting between two prostrations (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 858.) 23rd Hadith. God bless you God willing عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ مَالِكَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يَجْعَلَهُمَا قَرِيبًا مِنْ أُذُنَيْهِ، وَإِذَا رَكَعَ صَنَعَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ، صَنَعَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ‏.‏. Has told us [Humaid bin Mas'adah] said, has told us [Yazid bin Zurai'] said, has told us [Hisyam] from [Qatadah] from [Nashr bin Ashim] from [Malik Ibnul Huwairits] said, "If the takbir Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam raised his hands close to his ears. When bowing and lifting his head from bowing, he also did the same (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 859.) 24th Hadith.
