Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing هَلْ رَأَيْتَ النَّقِيَّ قَالَ مَا رَأَيْتُ النَّقِيَّ حَتَّى قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏.‏ فَقُلْتُ فَهَلْ كَانَ لَهُمْ مَنَاخِلُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing كُنْتُمْ تَأْكُلُونَ الشَّعِيرَ غَيْرَ مَنْخُولٍ قَالَ نَعَمْ نَنْفُخُهُ فَيَطِيرُ مِنْهُ مَا طَِيَ ثَرَّيْنَاهُ ‏.‏. It has been told to us that [Muhammad bin As Shabah] and [Suwaid bin Sa'id] both said; has told us [Abdul Aziz bin Abu Hazim] has told me [my father] he said, "I asked [Sahl bin Sa'd], 'Do you know any bleaching equipment (cleaning equipment)?' he replied, "I never saw a bleach until the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) died." So I asked, "Did they (the companions) see a flour sifter during the time of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam?" he answered, "No, I never saw a flour sifter until the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam died." I asked again, "How do you eat wheat that hasn't been sifted?" he answered, "Yes, we blew on it until the dirt on it flew away, then we wet what was left with water (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3335.) 2nd hadith. God bless you God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings دَقِيقًا فَصَنَعَتْهُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ـ صلى ـ رَغِيفًا فَقَالَ ‏"‏ مَا هَذَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَتْ طَعَامٌ نَصْنَعُهُ بِأَرْضِنَا فَأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ أَصْنَعَ مِنْهُ لَكَ رَغِيفًا ‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ رُدِّيهِ فِيهِ ثُمَّ اعْجِنِيهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Ya'qub bin Humaid bin Kasib] has told us [Ibnu Wahb] has told me ['Amru bin Al Harith] has told me [Bakr bin Sawadah] that [Hanasy bin Abdullah] told him from [Ummu Aiman], that he was sifting wheat, then he made it into bread for the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. He then asked "What is this?" he answered, "The food I make from the produce of our (country) land, I am happy to make bread for you." Then he said: "Return it to its place, then make it into dough (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3336.) 3rd Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you حَتَّى لَحِقَ بِاللَّهِ ‏.‏. Has told us [Al Abbas bin Al Walid Ad Dimasyqi] has told us [Muhammad bin Uthman Abu Al Jamahir] has told us [Sa'id bin Basyir] has told us [Qatadah] from [Anas bin Malik] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam never looked at dough bread (even) with one of his eyes until he met Allah (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3337.) 4th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God bless you فَبَكَى وَقَالَ مَا رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ هَذَا بِعَيْنِهِ قَطُّ ‏.‏. Has told us [Abu 'Umair Isa bin Muhammad An Nahas Ar Ramli] has told us [Dlamrah bin Rabi'ah] from [Ibn 'Atha] from [his father] he said, "[Abu Hurairah] visited his people, namely his village. I thought he said, "Yunaa." never seen this with both eyes (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3338.) 5th Hadith. God bless you God bless you God willing كُنَّا نَأْتِي أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ - قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ وَخَبَّازُهُ قَائِمٌ وَقَالَ الدَّارِمِيُّ وَخِوَانُهُ مَوْضُوعٌ - فَقَالَ يَوْمًا كُلُوا فَمَا أَعْلَمُ رَسُولَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings بِعَيْنِهِ حَتَّى لَحِقَ بِاللَّهِ وَم ‏.‏. Has told us [Ishaq bin Manshur] and [Ahmad bin Sa'id Ad Darimi] both said; has told us [Abdus Shamad bin Abdul Warits] has told us [Hammam] has told us [Qatadah] he said, "We met Anas bin Malik." Ishaq said, "While the baker was standing." Ad Darimi said, "Meanwhile the dining table is ready." Then one day [Anas] said, "Eat by you, truly I have not seen the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam ever see fine bread until he met Allah, nor have I ever seen rolled goat meat (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3339.) 6th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَِ God bless you God bless you يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ أَوَّلُ مَا سَمِعْنَا God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ وَمَا الْفَالُوذَجُ ‏"‏ ‏." God bless you وسلم ـ لِذَلِكَ شَهْقَةً ‏.‏. Has told us [Abdul Wahab bin Adl Dlahak As Sulami Abu Al Harith] has told us [Isma'il bin 'Ayyasy] has told us [Muhammad bin Thalhah] from [Uthman bin Yahya] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "The first time I heard of faludzaj (a type of food) was when Jibril 'Alaihis salam came to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, saying, "Indeed, the earth will be conquered for your people, therefore they will be flooded with worldly pleasures, to the point that they will eat faludzaj." The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam asked: 'What is faludzaj? So the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was stunned by the news (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3340.) 7th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا هَدِيَّةُ بْنُ عَبْدْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing "‏ وَدِدْتُ لَوْ أَنَّ عِنْدَنَا خُبْزَةً بَيْضَاءَ مِنْ بُرَّةٍ سَمْرَاءَ مُلَبَّقَةٍ بِسَمْنٍ نَأْكُلُهَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ فَسَمِعَ بِذَلِكَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ فَاتَّخَذَهُ فَجَاءَ بِهِ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏"‏ فِي أَىِّ شَىْءٍ كَانَ هَذَا السَّمْنُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ فِي عُكَّةِ ضَبٍّ ‏.‏ قَالَ فَأَبَى أَنْ يَأْكُلَهُ ‏.‏. Has told us [Hadiyyah bin Abdul Wahhab] has told us [Al Fadll bin Musa As Sinani] has told us [Al Husain bin Waqid] from [Ayyub] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] he said, "One day the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "I really wish, if we had white bread from Samra wheat smeared with ghee, then we ate it." Ibn Umar said, "Apparently one of the friends of the Ansar heard it, so he took (bread smeared with ghee) and came to bring it to him. Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam asked: "Where did this ghee come from?" the man answered, "From monitor lizard meat." Ibn Umar said, "then he was reluctant to eat it (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3341.) 8th Hadith. God bless you God bless you, God bless you, God bless you أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ صَنَعَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ لِلنَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ خُبْزَةً وَضَعَتْ فِيهَا شَيْئًا مِنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وسلم ـ فَادْعُهُ قَالَ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَقُلْتُ أُمِّي تَدْعُوكَ ‏.” ‏"‏ قُومُوا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ فَسَبَقْتُهُمْ إِلَيْهَا فَأَخْبَرْتُهَا فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ هَاتِي مَا صَنَعْتِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّمَا صَنَعْتُهُ لَكَ وَحْدَكَ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ هَاتِيهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ "‏ ‏.‏ أُدْخِلُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرَةً عَشْرَةً فَأَكَلُوا حَتَّى شَبِعُوا وَكَانُوا ثَمَانِينَ ‏.‏. Has told us [Ahmad bin 'Abdah] has told us [Uthman bin Abdurrahman] has told us [Humaid Ath Thawil] from [Anas bin Malik] he said, "Um Sulaim made a piece of bread smeared with ghee for the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, then she said, "Go to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and invite him to eat." Anas said, "So I went to him and I said, "My mother invites you to eat." Anas said, "So he stood up and said to the people with him: "Let us go! " Anas continued, "I then immediately went ahead of them to meet Umm Sulaim and inform her (about the arrival of the Prophet and his companions). Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam came and said: "Serve what you have made." Umm Sulaim replied, "I only made it for you." He said: "Serve it." Then he said again: "O Anas, tell them to come in ten people, ten people." Anas said, "I kept bringing ten people with him, ten people, so that they all ate until they were full, and at that time they numbered eighty people (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3342.) 9th Hadith. God bless you مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ God bless you God bless you وسلم ـ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ تِبَاعًا مِنْ خُبْزِ الْحِنْطَةِ حَتَّى تَوَفَّاهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ‏.‏. It has been related to us [Ya'qub bin Humaid bin Kasib] has told us [Marwan bin Mu'awiyah] from [Yazid bin Kaisan] from [Abu Hazim] from [Abu Hurairah] that he said, "By the One in Whose Hands my soul is, indeed the Prophet of Allah was never satisfied with wheat bread for three consecutive days until Allah Azza Wa Jalla passed him away (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3343.) 10th Hadith. God bless you God bless you God willing شَبِعَ آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ مُنْذُ قَدِمُوا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing تُوُفِّيَ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏.‏. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] has told us [Mu'awiyah bin 'Amru] has told us [Zai`idah] from [Mansur] from [Ibrahim] from [Al Aswad] from [Aisyah] he said, "The family of Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was never full of wheat bread for three consecutive days, from the time the companions arrived in Medina until he died. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3344.) 11th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. طَالَ عَلَىَّ فَكِلْتُهُ فَفَنِيَ ‏.‏. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Abu Usamah] has told us [Hisyam bin 'Urwah] from [his father] from [Aisyah] he said, "Indeed the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam has died and there is nothing in my house that can be eaten by a person with a (human) heart except only a bag of wheat on my plate, then I ate it for a long time, then the wheat was finished (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3345.) 12th Hadith. God bless you God willing God bless you God bless you عليه وسلم ـ مِنْ خُبْزِ الشَّعِيرِ حَتَّى قُبِضَ ‏.‏. Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Abu Ishaq] I heard [Abdurrahman bin Yazid] tell from [Al Aswad] from [Aisyah] he said, "The family of Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam never felt satisfied with wheat bread until he died (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3346.) 13th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you God willing God willing Allah's blessings وَكَانَ عَامَّةَ خُبْزِهِمْ خُبْزُ الشَّعِيرِ ‏.‏. Has told us [Abdullah bin Mu'awiyah Al Jumahi] has told us [Thabit bin Yazid] from [Hilal bin Khabbab] from [Ikrimah] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam spent several nights in a row hungry, while his family did not get dinner. And most of the bread they usually consumed was wheat bread (Degree: sahih. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3347.) 14th Hadith. God willing عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، - وَكَانَ يُعَدُّ مِنَ الأَبْدَالِ - God bless you God willing مَالِكٍ، قَالَ لَبِسَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ God bless you. اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ بَشِعًا وَلَبِسَ خَشِنًا ‏.‏ فَقِيلَ لِلْحَسَنِ مَا الْبَشِعُ قَالَ غَلِيظُ الشَّعِيرِ مَا كَانَ يُسِيغُهُ إِلاَّ بِجُرْعَةِ مَاءٍ ‏.‏. Has told us [Yahya bin Uthman bin Sa'id bin Katsir bin Dinar Al Himshi] - and he is among the Al Abdal (narrators who jumped over the path of transmission from the sheikh because of their higher rank than his shaikh) - has told us [Baqiyah] has told us [Yusuf bin abu Katsir] from [Nuh bin Dzakwan] from [Al Hasan] from [Anas bin Malik] him said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam wore wool and wore patched sandals." He also said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam also ate basyi' and wore rough clothes." Al Hasan was asked: "What is basyi'? ' he answered, "Hard dry wheat, which cannot be swallowed except with a sip of water (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3348.) 15th Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ مَا مَلأَ آدَمِيٌّ وِعَاءً شَرًّا مِنْ بَطْنٍ حَسْبُ God bless you God willing وَثُلُثٌ لِلنَّفَسِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Hisyam bin Abdul Malik Al Himshi] has told us [Muhammad bin Harb] has told me [my mother] from [his mother] that he said; I heard [Al Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib] say, "I heard Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "No child of Adam fills a place worse than his stomach, the measure for (the stomach of) a child of Adam is a few mouthfuls that can only straighten his spine. If his soul controls him, then one third is for food, one third is for drinking and one third is for breathing (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3349.) 16th Hadith. Has told us ['Amru bin Rafi'] has told us [Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah Abu Yahya] from [Yahya Al Bakka'] from [Ibn Umar] he said, "A man burped next to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Hold your burp before us, indeed the hungriest among you on the Day of Resurrection will be the one who is most full in the world (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3350.) 17th Hadith. God willing God bless you God bless you زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، God bless you يَأْكُلُهُ فَقَالَ حَسْبِي إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing الْقِيَامَةِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to us that [Daud bin Sulaiman Al 'Askari] and [Muhammad bin Ash Shabah] both said; has told us [Sa'id bin Muhammad As Tsaqafi] from [Musa Al Juhani] from [Zaid bin Wahb] from ['Athiyah bin 'Amir Al Juhani] he said, "I heard [Salman] was forced to eat food, so he said, "It is enough for me, verily I heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Indeed, the most full human being in the world will be the most hungry human being on the Day of Resurrection. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3351.) 18th Hadith. God bless you بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ God willing God willing God bless you قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ مِنَ السَّرَفِ أَنْ تَأْكُلَ كُلَّ مَا اشْتَهَيْتَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to us [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] and [Suwaid bin Sa'id] and [Yahya bin Uthman bin Sa'id bin Katsir bin Dinar Al Himshi] they said; has told us [Baqiyah bin Al Walid] has told us [Yusuf bin Abu Katsir] from [Nuh bin Dzakwan] from [Al Hasan] from [Anas bin Malik] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Including excess is that you eat everything you want (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3352.) 19th hadith. God bless you God willing وَسَّاجٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ God willing God willing God bless you God bless you فَإِنَّهَا مَا نَفَرَتْ عَنْ قَوْمٍ قَطُّ فَعَادَتْ إِلَيْهِمْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Yusuf Al Firyabi] has told us [Wassaj bin 'Uqbah bin Wassaj] has told us [Al Walid bin Muhammad Al Muwaqqari] has told us [Az Zuhri] from ['Urwah] from [Aisyah] he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam went into the house and saw a crumb of bread that was thrown away, so he took it, wiped it and ate it, he said: "O Aisyah, glorify something noble, not a crumb of bread goes from a people unless it returns to them (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3353.) 20th hadith. God willing الْبِطَانَةُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Ishaq bin Manshur] has told us [Huraim] from [Laits] from [Ka'b] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prayed: "O Allah, verily I seek refuge in You from hunger, for hunger is the worst companion of sleep. And I seek refuge in You from betrayal, because it is the worst of hidden things (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3354.) 21st Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهّ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing اللَّهِ بْنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace مِنْ تَمْرٍ فَإِنَّ تَرْكَهُ يُهْرِمُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Muhammad bin Abdullah Ar Raqqi] has told us [Ibrahim bin Abdussalam bin Abdullah bin Babah Al Mahzumi] has told us [Abdullah bin Maimun] from [Muhammad bin Al Munkadir] from [Jabir bin Abdullah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Do not leave dinner even with a handful of dates, indeed leaving it will speed up old age (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3355.) 22nd Hadith. God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing الْبَعِيرِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Jubarah bin Al Mughallis] has told us [Katsir bin Sulaim] from [Anas bin Malik] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Goodness enters the house where guests are entertained more quickly, than the speed of a knife to the hump of a camel (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3356.) 23rd Hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you God willing قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ‏ "‏ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings الشَّفْرَةِ إِلَى سَنَامِ الْبَعِيرِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Jubarah bin Al Mughallis] has told us [Al Muharibi] has told us [Abdurrahman bin Nahsyal] from [Adl Dlahak bin Muzahim] from [Ibn Abbas] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Goodness enters the house where guests are entertained faster than the speed of a knife to the hump of a camel (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3357.) 24th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ God bless you بَابِ الدَّارِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Ali bin Maimun Ar Raqi] has told us [Uthman bin Abdurrahman] from [Ali bin 'Urwah] from [Abdul Malik] from ['Atha] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed, it is among the sunnah things that a person goes out with his guests to the door of the house (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3358.) 25th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing فَدَعَوْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَجَاءَ فَرَأَى فِي الْبَيْتِ تَصَاوِيرَ فَرَجَعَ ‏.‏.
