Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you حَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي وَلَدِ الزِّنَا لِأَوْلِيَاءِ أُمِّهِ خُذُوا ابْنَكُمْ تَرِثُونَهُ وَتَعْقِلُونَهُ وَلَا يَرِثُكُمْ. Has told us [Isma'il bin Aban] from [Musa bin Muhammad Al Ansari] he said; It has been told to me by [Al Harith bin Hashirah] from [Zaid bin Wahb] from [Ali] that he once said about the inheritance of an adulterous child to his mother's guardians; Take your children. You got his inheritance and paid his diyat but he did not get an inheritance from you. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 2nd hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُم قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ God willing God bless you God bless you أَحَدٌ غَيْرِي. It has been reported to us that [Abu Nu'aim] and [Abdullah bin Zaid] both said; Having told us [Syu'bah] from [Salamah bin Kuhail] from [Abu Amr Asy Syaibani] he said; [Abdullah] said; The slave Sa`ibah handed over his property wherever he wanted. Abdullah bin Yazid said; Shu'bah said; No one has heard this from Salamah apart from me. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 3rd Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مِيرَاثِ السَّائِبَةِ فَقَالَ كُلُّ عَتِيقٍ سَائِبَةٌ. Has told us [Al Hakam bin Al Mubarak] has told us [Hatim bin Wardan] from [Yunus] from [Al Hasan] when he was asked about the inheritance of Sa`ibah, he answered; All freed slaves were sa`ibah. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 4th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَالسَّائِبَةُ لِيَوْمِهِمَا. Has informed us [Yazid bin Harun] has informed us [Sulaiman] from [Abu Uthman] he said; [Umar] said; Alms and sa`ibah are given on that day. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 5th Hadith. Allah's blessings سُئِلَ عَامِرٌ عَنْ الْمَمْلُوكِ يُعْتَقُ سَائِبَةً لِمَنْ وَلَاؤُهُ قَالَ لِلَّذِي أَعْتَقَهُ. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Zakariya] from [Amir] he said; When Amir was asked about freed slaves with Sa`ibah status, whose guardianship was he? He answered; For the person who liberated him. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 6th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing God willing بَيْتَ الْمَالِ. Has told us [Abu Hatim Al Bashri] he is Rauh bin Aslam, has told us [Bisyr bin Al Mufadldlal] has told us [Abdurrahman bin Ishaq] from [his father] from [Abdurrahman bin Amr] he said; During [Uthman's] reign, a slave who did not have a guardian died, so he ordered his property to be taken and handed over to Baitul Mal. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 7th Hadith. God willing love مَالُهُ حَيْثُ أَوْصَى بِهِ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ أَوْصَى فَهُوَ فِي بَيْتِ الْمَالِ. Having told us [Ya'la] had told us [Isma'il] from [Amir] from [Masruq] about a person who died but had no master to set him free, he answered; His assets depend on his will, if he does not have a will then the assets will be handed over to Baitul Mal. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 8th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing وَلَاءَهُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَهُ إِنَّمَا سَيَََّهُ وَلَمْ يُسَيِّبْهُ مِنْ الْوَلَاءِ. It has been told to us by [Abu Sa'id bin Amr] from [Abu Abu Bakr bin Abu Maryam] from [Dlamrah], [Rashid bin Sa'd] and apart from these two, they said about slaves who were freed with the status of sa`ibah; In fact, the right of guardianship is given to the person who liberates him. Because in fact he was only freed from slavery but not freed from the right of guardianship. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 9th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing وَلَاءِ السَّائِبَةِ وَهِبَتِهِ. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Abu Dawud] from [Syu'bah] he said; It has been reported to me that [Mansur] from [Ibrahim] and [Ash Sya'bi] both said; It is okay to sell the guardianship of the sa`ibah slave and his gifts. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 10th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُم God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing God willing كَثِيرًا. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Al Mas'udi] from [Al Qasim] he said; There was someone who freed a child with the status of Sa`ibah, then he came to [Abdullah] and said; In fact, I have liberated a child of mine with the status of sa`ibah and this is the treasure he left behind. He said; It becomes yours. The man said again; But I don't need it. He said; Then let him be, because there are still many heirs here. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 11th Hadith. Allah's blessings عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرْ God willing. Has reported to us [Yazid bin Harun] has reported to us [Al Asy'ats] from [Abu Az Zubair] from [Jabir bin Abdullah] he said; If a person is born crying, then he will receive an inheritance and be blessed. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 12th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. اسْتَهَلَّ الصَّبِيُّ وَرِثَ وَوُرِثَ وَصُلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Sharik] from [Abu Ishaq] from ['Atha`] from [Ibn Abbas] he said; If a person is born crying then he inherits, bequeaths and is blessed. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 13th Hadith. God willing God willing مِنْ مَوْلُودٍ إِلَّا يَسْتَهِلُّ وَاسْتِهْلَالُهُ يَعْصِرُ God willing. Has told us [Malik bin Isma'il] has told us [Isra`il] from [Simak] from [Ikrimah] from [Ibn Abbas] he said; No child is born unless he is crying, and his crying is because Satan presses (pinches) his stomach so that he cries and screams except for Isa bin Maryam. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 14th Hadith. God bless you ابْنُ حَمْزَةَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَرِثُ الْمَوْلُودُ حَتَّى يَسْتَهِلَّ صَارِخًا وَإِنْ وَقَعَ حَيًّا. Has told us [Yahya bin Hassan] has told us [Yahya] he is Ibn Hamzah, from [Zaid bin Waqid] from [Makhul] he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "A child who is born does not inherit until he cries and screams (screams) and if he is born alive." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 15th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing صُلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ وَوُرِثَ. Has told us [Ya'la] has told us [Muhammad bin Ishaq] from ['Atha`] from [Jabir] he said; If a child is born crying, then he has the right to be prayed for and receive an inheritance. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 16th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الْعُطَاسَ اسْتِهْلَالًا. Has told us [Abdullah bin Muhammad] has told us [Ma'an] from [Ibn Abu Dzi`b] from [Az Zuhri] he said; I think that sneezing is a sign that a child was born crying. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 17th Hadith. God willing مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ لَا يُوَرَّثُ الْمَوْلُودُ God bless you فَإِذَا اسْتَهَلَّ صُلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ وَوُرِّثَ وَكُمِّلَتْ الدِّيَةُ. Has told us [Abu An Nu'man] has told us [Abu 'Awanah] from [Mughirah] from [Ibrahim] he said; A child who is born does not receive an inheritance until he is born crying, nor is he prayed for until he is born crying. So, if he is born crying, he has the right to be prayed for, to receive an inheritance, and to have his diyat given perfectly. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 18th Hadith. God willing حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنْ السِّقْطْ مَوْلُودٍ حَتَّى يَسْتَهِلَّ صَارِخًا. Having told us [Abdullah bin Salih] had told me [Al Laits] had told me [Yunus] from [Ibn Shihab] and we also asked him about children who were born prematurely (miscarriage), he answered; The child is not prayed for, a child who is born does not have to be prayed for until he cries and screams. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 19th hadith. God bless you God willing God willing God willing لِلْأَوَّلِ وَيَقُولُ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ الْوَلَاءُ لِسَيِّدِ الْبَائِعِ وَيَقُولُونَ إِنَّمَا ابْتَاعَ هَذَا مَا عَلَى الْمُكَاتَبِ فَالْوَلَاءُ لِلسَّيِّدِ. Has told us [Harun bin Mu'awiyah] from [Abu Sufyan] from [Ma'mar] from [Qatadah] he said; If two mudatab slaves buy each other, this slave buys that slave from his master and that slave buys this slave from his master then the sale and purchase is the first. The people of Medina said; Wala` remains for the selling employer. They said; In fact, this slave bought what themukatab had to pay in full. Therefore the wala` remains for the employer. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 20th hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. فَقَدْ أَرَقَّ نِصْفَهُ وَأَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ تَزَوَّجَ حُرَّةً فَقَدْ أَعْتَقَ نِصْفَهُ قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد يَعْنِي الْوَلَدَ. Has told us [Yazid bin Harun] has told us [Yahya] from [Sa'id] that [Umar] said; Any free man who marries a slave woman has freed her half. And any slave who marries a free woman has freed her half. Abu Muhammad said; Namely the status of his child. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 21st Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَتَزَوَّجُ الْمَرْأَةَ ثُمَّ يُطَلِّقُهَا وَلَهُ مِنْهَا God bless you وَإِنْ كَانَ عَبْدًا يَعْنِي الصَّبِيَّ فَعَلَى مُوَالِيهِ. Has told us [Ahmad bin Abdullah] has told us [Abu Shihab] from [Ash Syaibani] from [Ash Sya'bi] about a slave who married a woman and then divorced her while she bore him children. He said; If the child is a free woman, then the child is provided for by the mother, and if the child is a slave, meaning a minor slave, then the support is provided for by the master. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 22nd Hadith. God bless you Allah's blessings مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَّهُمَا قَالَا وَلَاؤُهُ لِمَنْ بَدَأَ بِالْعِتْقِ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Isa] has told us [Husyaim] has told us [Zakariya] from [Amir], in another hadith; It has been related to us [Jarir] from [Mughirah] from [Ibrahim] that they both said; Wala`nya falls on the person who first liberates. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 23rd Hadith. God bless you Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing اسْتَسْعَى الْعَبْدُ كَانَ الْوَلَاءُ بَيْنَهُمْ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Isa] has told us [Husyaim] has told us [Yunus] from [Al Hasan], in another hadith; It has been told to us [Jarir] from [Aban bin Taghlib] from [Al Hakam] from [Ibrahim] that they both said; If he guarantees then the wala` goes to him, and if he employs the slave then the wala` is divided between them. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 24th Hadith. God bless you God willing God bless you يَكُنْ لَهُ مَالٌ اسْتُسْعِيَ الْعَبْدُ فِي النِّصْفِ بِقِيمَةِ عَدْلٍ وَالْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ. It has been told to us that [Ya'la] and [Abu Nu'aim] both said; Having told us [Zakariya] from [Amir] about a slave owned by two people where one of them gave up his share, he said; He must perfect his independence. If he does not have property then the slave must try to perfect half of it at a fair value (price). Meanwhile, wala` is for people who liberate themselves. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 25th Hadith. God bless you God willing فِي عَبْدٍ بَيْنَ رَجُلَيْنِ أَعْتَقَ أَحَدَهُمَا نَصِيبَهُ وَأَمْسَكَهُ الْآخَرُ قَالَ مِيرَاثُهُ بَيْنَهُمَا. Having told us [Harun bin Mu'awiyah] from [Abu Sufyan Al Ma'mari] from [Ma'mar] from [Ibn Thawus] from [his father] about a slave who was owned by two people, then one of them gave up his share and the other did not, he said; The slave's inheritance was divided between the two of them. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 26th Hadith. God bless you God willing قَتَادَةُ هُوَ لِلْمُعْتِقِ كُلُّهُ وَثَمَنُهُ عَلَيْهِ وَيَقُولُهُ أَهْلُ الْكُوفَةِ. Having told us [Harun] from [Abu Sufyan] from [Ma'mar] from [Az Zuhri] he said; His legacy is for those who did not liberate. [Qatadah] said; The entire inheritance of the liberator and the cost of liberating him. That's what the people of Kufa said. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 27th Hadith. God bless you God willing وَلَهُ بَنُونَ وَبَنَاتٌ أَيَكُونُ لِلنِّسَاءِ مِنْ God willing ظَهْرِهْ دُونَ النِّسَاءِ إِلَّا مَا كَاتَبْنَ أَوْ أَعْتَقْنَ. Has told us [Ya'la bin Ubaid] has told us [Abdul Malik] from ['Atha`] about someone who died and left behind a mukatab slave, he also had several sons and daughters, do women get wala`, he answered; Women could only inherit what slaves were required to repay under the terms of their freedom. Meanwhile, wala' is only for men, not for women, except for those who promise conditional independence or those who liberate. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 28th Hadith. God bless you God willing مُكَاتَبًا ثُمَّ مَاتَ الْمُكَاتَبُ وَتَرَكَ مَالًا فَجَعَلَ ابْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ God bless you فَضَلَ مِنْ الْمَالِ بَعْدَ كِتَابَتِهِ فَلِلرِّجَالِ مِنْهُمْ مِنْ بَنِي مَوْلَاهُ دُونَ النِّسَاءِ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Isa] has told us [Abu Sufyan] from [Ma'mar] from [Yahya bin Abu Kathir] he said; A man died and left behind a mukatab slave, then the mukatab slave died and left property. Ibn Al Musayyab and Abu Salamah bin Abdurrahman gave what was left of the terms of their independence to their master's children. Men and women have the right to the inheritance, while what remains of the property after payment is given to the men of their master's children and not to the women of their master's children. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 29th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God bless you لِلْكُبْرِ وَلَا يَرِثُونَ النِّسَاءَ مِنْ الْوَلَاءِ إِلَّا مَا أَعْتَقْنَ أَوْ كَاتَبْنَ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Isa] has told us [Abdus Salam bin Harb] from [Al A'masy] from [Ibrahim] from [Umar], [Ali] and [Zaid] that they said; Wala` for the older ones. They do not bequeath wala` to women unless they liberate them or give a promise of independence. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 30th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace أَشْعَثَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ لَْ God willing God bless you God willing. Has told us [Muhammad bin Isa] has told us [Mu'adz] from [Ash'ath] from [Al Hasan] he said; Women cannot inherit wala` unless they free them or they free anyone they free except the child of a woman who is affected by li'an, then the woman can inherit the person who freed her child and the person whose father disowned her. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) Hadits ke-31. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَرِثُ مَوَالِيَ عُمَرَ دُونَ بَنَاتِ عُمَرَ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Isa] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Wahb] dari [Yunus] dari [Az Zuhri] dari [Salim] dari [ayahnya] bahwa ia pernah memberikan warisan kepada para mantan budak Umar dan tidak diberikan kepada anak-anak perempuan Umar. Hadits ke-32. أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ فِي امْرَأَةٍ مَاتَتْ وَتَرَكَتْ بَنِيهَا فَوَرِثُوهَا مَالًا وَمَوَالِيَ ثُمَّ مَاتَ بَنُوهَا قَالَ يَرْجِعُ الْوَلَاءُ إِلَى عَصَبَةِ الْمَرْأَةِ. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Amr bin 'Aun] dari [Khalid bin Abdullah] dari [Khalid Al Hadza`] dari [Abu Qilabah] tentang seorang perempuan yang meninggal dunia dan meninggalkan beberapa anak laki-laki, maka mereka mewarisi hartanya dan para budak ibunya, kemudian anak-anaknya meninggal dunia. Ia berkata; Wala` kembali kepada ashabah perempuan tersebut. (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 33rd Hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you مَاتَتْ وَتَرَكَتْ مَوْلًى قَالَ الْوَلَاءُ لِبَنِيهَا فَإِذَا مَاتُوا رَجَعَ إِلَى عَصَبَتِهَا. Has told us [Abu An Nu'man] has told us [Wuhaib] has told us [Yunus] from [Al Hasan] that he once said about a woman who died and left her former slave, he said; Wala` is for his sons, but if they die then the wala` returns to the female ashabah. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 34th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ لَيْسَ لِلنِّسَاءِ مِنْ God bless you. Has told us [Sa'id bin Amir] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Mughirah] from [Ibrahim] he said; Women do not get the slightest legal rights except those they liberate themselves. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 35th Hadith. God willing God willing مَنْ يُحْرِزُ الْمِيرَاثَ. Has told us [Abdullah bin Sa'id] has told us [Abu Usamah] from [Hisham] from [his father] he said; Wala` is entitled to be owned by the person who has inheritance rights. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 36th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ وَمَاتَتْ فَخَاصَمَتْ الْمَوَالِي إِلَى عُثْمَانَ فَدَعَا عُثْمَانُ God willing God willing بَكْرٍ فَوَالَى عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ. It has been told to us [Abdullah bin Sa'id] has told us [Abu Khalid] has told us [Yahya] from [Abu Bakr bin Amr bin Hazm] that a woman from Muharib gave her slave's wala` to him. Then the woman freed her and the slave gave his wala` to Abdurrahman bin Amr bin Hazm, while the woman died. The other slaves complained about this problem to Uthman. So Uthman asked for proof of what he said. (Abu Bakr) said; Then the slave presented evidence. So [Uthman] said to him; Go and give your wala` to the person you want. Abu Bakr said; So he made Abdurrahman bin Amr bin Hazm his wala`. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 37th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الْوَلَاءِ وَعَنْ هِبَتِهِ. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Sufyan] from [Abdullah bin Dinar] from [Ibn Umar] he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade selling wala` and giving it away. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 38th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَعَنْ هِبَتِهِ. Has told us [Muslim] has told us [Syu'bah] has told us [Abdullah bin Dinar] from [Ibn Umar] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade selling wala` and giving it away. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 39th Hadith. God willing قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ لَا يُبَاعُ الْوَلَاءُ وَلَا يُوهَبُ وَالْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ. Has told us [Ya'la] has told us [Abdul Malik] of ['Atha`] he said; I heard [Ibn Abbas] say; Wala` cannot be sold and cannot be given away, but wala` is given to the person who liberates it. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 40th Hadith. God bless you مَعْشَرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ God bless you يُوهَبُ. Has told us [Ja'far bin 'Aun] from [Sa'id] from [Abu Ma'syar] from [Ibrahim] he said; [Abdullah] said; Wala` is like a descendant, it cannot be sold or given away. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) This is a collection of selected hadiths for this session. May Allah give us taufik to practice the contents of these noble hadiths in our daily lives.
