Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God bless you Allah's blessings God willing. Has told us [Muslim bin Ibrahim] has told us [Hammam] has told us [Qatadah] of [Al Hasan] and [Sa'ib bin Al Musayyab] that both of them made it unlawful to sell wala`. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 2nd hadith. God willing God willing God bless you مَرَّتَيْنِ. Has told us [Abdullah bin Sa'id] has told us [Ibn Idris] from [Ibn Juraij] from ['Atha`] he said; [Ibn Abbas] said; Wala` cannot be sold. Is it worth it for someone to be fed by slaves twice? (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 3rd Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الْفَرَائِضُ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ لَا نُعِيلُهَا. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yusuf] has told us [Sufyan] from [Ibn Juraij] from ['Atha`] from [Ibn Abbas] he said; We do not make the division of the inheritance of the six as an 'aul. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 4th Hadith. God bless you مَيْسَرَةَ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ God willing فَقَضَى فِيهَا فَأَقْبَلَ الزَّوْجُ يَشْكُوهُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ God willing وَبَعَثَ إِلَى شُرَيْحٍ فَقَالَ مَا يَقُولُ هَذَا قَالَ هَذَا God bless you love فَقَالَ لَهُ الرَّجُلُ مَا تَقُولُ فِي بِنْتَيْنِ وَأَبَوَيْنِ وَزَوْجٍ فَقَالَ لِلزَّوْجِ الرُّبُعُ مِنْ جَمِيعِ مَالِ وَلِلْأَبَوَيْنِ السُّدُسَانِ وَمَا بَقِيَ فَلِلِابْنَتَيْنِ قَالَ فَلِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ نَقَصْتَنِي قَالَ لَيْسَ أَنَا نَقَصْتُكَ اللَّهُ نَقَصَكَ لِلِابْنََتَيْنِ وَلِلْأَبَوَيْنِ السُّدُسَانِ وَلِلزَّوْجِ الرُّبُيُ مِنْ سَبْعَةٍ وَنِصْفٍ فَرِيضَةً فَرِيضَتُكَ عَائِلَةٌ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Imran] from [Mu'awiyah bin Maisarah bin Syuraih] from [Ayyub bin Al Harith] he said; Syuraih once received a complaint about two daughters, two parents and her husband. So he decided in this matter. Then her husband came and complained about her in the mosque. So he sent Abdullah bin Rabah, he immediately picked him up and delivered him to Syuraih. (Syuraih) also asked; What is this person saying? ' Syuraih said, 'He thought I was an unjust person, while I thought he was an evil person. He indulges in dissatisfaction and hides the current decision.' Then the man (husband) said to Syuraih, 'What are you saying about two daughters.' The man said, 'Why are you reducing your share. Allah is the one who reduces your share. For two daughters two thirds, for both parents two sixths and for husbands a quarter. This problem of seven and a half as an obligatory part and its parts are multiplied as Aul." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 5th Hadith. God bless you مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَعُمَرَ وَزَيْدٍ قَالُوا الْوَالِدُ يَجُرُّ وَلَاءَ وَلَدِهِ. It has been told to us by [Muhammad bin Uyainah] from [Ali bin Mushir] from [Ash'ath] from [Ash Sya'bi] from [Ali], [Umar] and [Zaid], they said, Father has the right to take his child's wala`. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 6th Hadith. God bless you مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ الْجَدُّ يَجُرُّ الْوَلَاءَ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Uyainah] from [Ali bin Mushir] from [Ash'ath] from [Ash Sya'bi] he said; Grandpa has the right to take the wala`. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 7th Hadith. God bless you God willing God. It has been told to us by [Muhammad bin Uyainah] from [Ali bin Mushir] from [Ash'ath] from [Ibn Sirin] from [Syuraih] he said; The father has the right to take his child's wala`. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 8th Hadith. Allah's blessings فِي مَمْلُوكٍ تُوُفِّيَ وَلَهُ أَبٌ حُرٌّ وَلَهُ بَنُونَ مِنْ God willing الْجَدِّ. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Zakariya] from [Amir] about a slave who died and left a free father and several sons from a free wife, For whom are the wala` of his children? He answered; For grandfather's former slaves. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 9th Hadith. God bless you مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي مُكَاتٍَّ نِصْفَ مُكَاتَبَتِهِ وَلَهُ وَلَدٌ مِنْ امْرَأَةٍ أَحْرَارٌ قَالَ مَا أُرَاهُ إِلَّا قَدْ جَرَّ وَلَاءَ وَلَدِهِ. Having told us [Abu Nu'aim] had told us [Isra`il] from [Mughirah] from [Ibrahim] about the mukatab slave who died and left behind a child from his free wife, he said; I have no opinion unless he has the right to take his child's wala`. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 10th Hadith. God bless you الْحَكَمْ God bless you قَالَ إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الْمَمْلُوكُ الْحُرَّةَ فَوَلَدَتْ God willing الْوَلَاءُ لِمَوَالِي أَبِيهِمْ فَأَخَذَ بِهِ شُرَيْحٌ. Has told us [Sulaiman bin Harb] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Al Hakam] from [Ibrahim] he said; [Syuraih] never withdrew his decision that he had decided. Then [Al Aswad] told him that Umar had said; If a slave marries a free woman and gives birth to free children and is then freed, then the wala` returns to the person who freed their father. Then Syuraih also held onto this history. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 11th Hadith. God willing قَالَ عُمَرُ فِي الْمَمْلُوكِ يَكُونُ تَحْتَهُ الْحُرَّةُ God bless you جَرَّ الْوَلَاءَ. Having related to us [Ya'la] from [Al A'masy] from [Ibrahim] he said; [Umar] said of a slave who had a free wife; Her child was freed because of her mother's free status. If the father is freed, then the wala` has the right to be taken by the person who freed him. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 12th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing قَالَ أَمَّا مَا وَلَدَتْ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ عَبْدٌ فَوَلَاؤُهُمْ لِأَهْلِ نِعْمَتِهَا وَمَا وَلَدَتْ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ حُرٌّ فَوَلَاؤُهُمْ لِأَهْلِ نِعْمَتِهِ. Has told us [Muslim] has told us [Abdul Warits] from [Katsir bin Syinzhir] from ['Atha`] about a free woman who became the wife of a slave, he said; If a slave is born then their wala` falls to the guardians of their mother, whereas if a free child is born then their wala` falls to those who freed their father. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 13th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing تَحْتَ الْمَمْلُوكْ God bless you God bless you أَبِيهِ. Has told us [Ja'far bin 'Aun] from [Al A'masy] from [Ibrahim] he said; [Umar] said; If a free woman becomes the wife of a slave, then gives birth to a child, the child is freed because the mother's status is free and the wala' falls to the mother's guardians and if the father is freed then the wala' falls to the father's guardians. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 14th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. الرَّحْمَنْ لِلْحُرَقَةِ وَكَانَ أَبِي يَعْقُوبُ مُكَاتَبًا لِمَالِكِ God willing أَدَّى كِتَابَتَهُ فَدَخَلَ الْحُرَقِيُِ God bless you أَوْسٍ فَقَالَ ذَاكَ مَوْلَايَ فَاخْتَصَمَا إِلَى عُثْمَانَ فَقَضَى بِهِ لِلْحُرَقِيِّ. Has told us [Al Hakam bin Al Mubarak] has told us [Muhammad bin Salamah] from [Ibn Ishaq] from [Al 'Ala` bin Abdurrahman] from [his father] he said; My mother was a former slave belonging to Huraqah while my father, Ya'qub was amukatab slave belonging to Malik bin Aus bin Al Hadatsan An Nashri, then my father had paid off hismukatabah. So Al Huraqi met Uthman to ask for rights, namely gifts, at that time Malik bin Aus was beside him, he said; He is my former slave. Then the two of them complained about this to Uthman, then [Uthman] decided that his wala`ku was for Al Huraqi. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 15th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you God bless you مَعَهُمْ الْعَطَاءَ فِي عِرَافَتِهِ. Has told us [Abdullah bin Yazid] has told us [Haiwah] has told me [Sahm bin Yazid Al Hamrawi] that someone has died but he has no heirs. So a letter was sent to [Umar bin Abdul Aziz], at that time he was caliph, then he replied to the letter; You should distribute the inheritance to those who have the right to take gifts with them. So the inheritance was distributed to those who had the right to take gifts with them in their work. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 16th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings love إِلَّا وَوَصِيَّتُهُ مَكْتُوبَةٌ عِنْدَهُ. It has been reported to us [Muhammad bin Ubaid] has informed us [Ubaidullah] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "It is not appropriate for a muslim to pass two nights while he has something to bequeathed unless his will is written on his side." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 17th Hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you وَلَا تَزَالُ وَصِيَّتُهُ تَحْتَ جَنْبِهِ. Has told us ['Affan] has told us [Abu Al Asyhab] has told us [Al Hasan] he said; A believer is a person who does not eat his whole stomach and his will is always under his shoulders. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 18th Hadith. God willing سَلَمَةَ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ لِي ثُمَامَةُ بْنُ حَوكٍ قُلْتُ مَاتَ قَالَ فَهَلْ أَوْصَى فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يُقَالُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you God willing. Has told us [Sulaiman bin Harb] has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Dawud bin Abu Hind] from [Al Qasim bin Umar] he said; [Tsumamah bin Hazn] said to me; What did your father do? I answered; He has died. He asked; Did he have a will? Because it is said; If someone has made a will with a perfect will, his zakat will certainly not be in vain. Abu Muhammad said, there were also people besides him who said; he is Al Qasim bin Amr. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 19th hadith. God willing God willing كَانَ يُقَالُ مَنْ أَوْصَى بِوَصِيَّةٍ فَلَمْ يَجُرْ وَلَمْ يَحِفْ كَانَ لَهُ مِنْ الْأَجْرِ مِثْلُ مَا أَنْ لَوْ تَصَدَّقَ بِهِ فِي حَيَاتِهِ. Has told us [Abu An Nu'man] has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] has told us [Dawud bin Abu Hind] from [Ash Sya'bi] he said; It was once said; Whoever conveys a will and does not commit injustice or wrongdoing, then he will receive a reward similar to the reward he would receive if he gave alms throughout his life. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 20th hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing God willing سُورَةِ النَّحْلِ وَقَرَأَ ابْنُ حَيَّانَ { ادَْ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ - إِلَى قَوْلِهِ - وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ مُحْسِنُونَ }. Has told us [Sahl bin Hammad] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Abu Yunus] from [Qaza'ah] he said; It was said to [Harim bin Hayyan]; Be careful. He said; I bequeath to you the last verses of Surah An Nahl. Then Ibn Hayyan read, UD'UU ILA RABBIKA BIL HIKMATI… WALLADZI HUM MUHSININ (Call (humans) to the path of your Lord with the good…. and those who do good). (Degree: authentic. God bless you عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَقَالَ أَوْصَى بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ و قَالَ هُزَيْلُ بْنُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّّ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you. Having told us [Muhammad bin Yusuf] from [Malik bin Mighwal] from [Thalhah bin Musharrif Al Yami] he said; I once asked [Abdullah bin Abu Aufa]; Did the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam make a will? He answered; No. I asked again; So how is a will required of humans or are they ordered to make a will? He answered; He made a will with the Book of Allah. Huzail bin Syurahbil said; Abu Bakr based the will order on the person who was given the will from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. If he had found a testament from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he would have hooked his nose to it (obediently). (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 22nd Hadith. God bless you God willing يُقَالُ أَلْفًا فَمَا فَوْقَ ذَلِكَ. Has informed us [Yazid] has informed us [Hammam] from [Qatadah] regarding the verse: IN TARAKA KHAIRANIL WASHIYYAH (If he leaves a lot of wealth, make a will), he said; Al Khair is a treasure. It says; A thousand or more. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 23rd Hadith. Allah's blessings Allah's blessings أَوْصَى بِهْ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ بَنِيهِ وَأَهْلَ بَيِْهِ أَنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind وَرَسُولَهُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ } وَأَوْصَاهُمْ بِمَا أَوْصَى بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بَنِيهِ وَيَعْقُوَُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَّ وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ } وَأَوْصَاهُمْ أَنْ لَا يَرْغَبُوا أَنْ يَكُونُوا مَوَالِيَ الْأَنْصَارِ وَإِخْوَانَهُمْ فِي الدِّينِ وَأَنَّ الْعِفَّةَ وَالصِّدْقَ خَيْرٌ وَأَتْقَى مِنْ الزِّنَا وَالْكَذِبِ إِنْ حَدَثَ بِهِ حَدَثٌ فِي مَرَضِي هَذَا قَبْلَ أَنْ أُغَيِّرَ وَصِيَّتِي هَذِهِ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ حَاجَتَهُ. It has been reported to us [Yazid bin Harun] has informed us [Ibn 'Aun] from [Muhammad bin Sirin] that he once made a will. The following is what Muhammad bin Abu 'Amrah bequeathed or bequeathed to his children and family; (Be fearful of Allah and improve relations between your neighbors and obey Allah and His Messenger if you are believers). Then he made a testament to them like the testament conveyed by the Prophets Abraham and Jacob to their children, (O my children! Indeed, Allah has chosen this religion for you, so do not die unless you embrace Islam). He also promised them not to mind being helpers of the Ansar and becoming their brothers in religion. In fact, maintaining self-honor and honesty is better and more lasting than adultery and lying. If something happens to me in this illness before I change my will, then he stated his wishes. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 24th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهّ بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنْ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ God bless you God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ { وَأَنَّ السَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهَا وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْعَثُ مَنْ فِي الْقُبُورِ } وَأَوْصَى مَنْ تَرَكَ بَعْدَهُ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ أَنْ يَتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَيُصْلِحُوا ذَاتَ بَيْنِهِمْ وَأَنْ يُطِيعُوا اللَّهَ love أَوْصَى بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بَنِيهِ وَيَعْقُوَُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَّ وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ } وَأَوْصَى إِنْ حَدَثَ بِهِ حَدَثٌ مِنْ وَجَعِهِ هَذَا أَنَّ حَاجَتَهُ كَذَا وَكَذَا. Has told us [Ahmad bin Abdullah] has told us [Abu Bakr] has told us [Hisyam bin Hassan] from [Ibn Sirin] from [Anas] he said; This is how they make their will; This is the will conveyed by Fulan bin Fulan; That he testified that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah alone, with no partner and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger. Indeed, the Day of Judgment will definitely come without any doubt. And indeed Allah will raise up those who are in the graves. He also promised the family he left behind to be devout to Allah and improve relations between themselves and obey Allah and His Messenger if they are believers. He also made a will to them like the will conveyed by the Prophets Ibrahim and Ya'qub to their children; (O my children! Indeed, Allah has chosen this religion for you, so do not die unless you embrace Islam). Then he made a will that if something happened to him as a result of this illness, then his wish would be this and that. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 25th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing أَوْصَى قَالَ تَشَهُّدُ هَذَا مَا شَهِدَ بِهِ يَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا God bless you مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وََرَسُولُهُ وَيُؤْمِنُ وَيَكْفُرُ بِالطَّاغُوتِ عَلَى ذَلِكَ يَحْيَا إِنْ شَاءَ God bless you اللَّهُ فِيمَا تَرَكَ إِنْ حَدَثَ بِهِ حَدَثٌ وَهُوَ كَذَا وَكَذَا إِنْ لَمْ يُغَيِّرْ شَيْئًا مِمَّا فِي هَذِهِ God willing God willing هَذِهِ وَصِيَّةُ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ. Has told us [Al Hakam bin Al Mubarak] has told us [Al Walid] from [Hafsh bin Ghailan] from [Makhul] when he made his will he said; he said; This testimony is what he has witnessed; He testified that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah alone, there is no partner for Him and Muhammad is Allah's servant and His messenger, a believer in Allah and a disbeliever in taghut. On this testimony he lived if God willed, he died and was resurrected. He also left a will to what Allah had provided him with what he left behind. If something happens to him, it will be like this and that, if he doesn't change one bit of what is stated in this will. Having told us [Al Hakam] has told us [Al Walid] he said; Having reported to me [Ibn Tsauban] from [his father] from [Makhul] he said; This is [Abu Ad Darda's] will. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 26th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing هَذَا مَا أَوْصَى بِهِ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ وَأَشْهَدَ اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا وَجَازِيًا لِعِبَادِهِ الصَّالِحِينَ وَمُثِيبًا بِأَنِّي رَضِيتُ God willing نَبِيًّا وَإِنِّي آمُرُ نَفْسِي وَمَنْ أَطَاعَنِي أَنْ نَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ فِي الْعَابِدِينَ وَنَحْمَدَهُ فِي الْحَامِدِينَ وَأَنْ نَنْصَحَ لِجَمَاعَةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ. Has told us [Ja'far bin 'Aun] has told us [Abu Hayyan At Taimi] from [his father] he said; [Rabi' bin Khutsaim] once wrote his will as follows; In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, this is the will conveyed by Rabi' bin Khutsaim, may Allah witness this will. Allah is sufficient as a witness and giver of reward to the righteous and giver of rewards, because indeed I accept Allah as Rabb, Islam as a religion and Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam as a prophet. Verily, I command myself and those who obey me; Let us worship Allah with those who worship and praise Him with those who praise and always give advice to all people muslimin. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 27th Hadith. God willing عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ عَلِي٩ فَذَكَرُوا لَهُ الْوَصِيَّةَ فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ قَالَ اللَّهُ { God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مِائَةٍ. Has told us [Abu An Nu'man] has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] from [Hisyam] from [his father] that Ali once visited a sick person, then they mentioned his will to Ali, so [Ali] said; Allah says: IN TARAKA KHAIRAN (If he leaves wealth), but I did not see him leave khair (treasure). Hammad said; As I recall, he left assets of more than seven hundred. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 28th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. مِنْ قَوْمِهِ يَعُودُهُ فَقَالَ أُوصِي قَالَ لَا لَمْ تَدَعْ مَالًا فَدَعْ مَالَكَ لِوَلَدِكَ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Kunasah] has told us [Hisyam] from [his father] he said; [Ali bin Abu Talib] once visited a man from his people. Then he asked; Do I have a will? He answered; No. He asked; Have you not left any treasure behind? Leave your wealth to your children. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 29th Hadith. Allah's blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings مُقِرُّونَ فَقَالَ لَا يَجُوزُ قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد يَعْنِي إِذَا أَنْكَرُوا بَعْدُ. Having told us [Abu Zaid] had told us [Syu'bah] from [Mansur] from [Ibrahim] about someone who made a will while the heirs witnessed and agreed, he said; Should not. Abu Muhammad said; That is, if after that they deny it. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 30th Hadith. God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God. Having told us [Yazid bin Harun] from [Dawud bin Abu Hind] from [Amir] from [Syuraih] about someone who bequeathed more than a third of his wealth, he said; If the heirs agree then we allow it and if the heirs have said; We agree, so they can choose if they have shaken their hands from the grave. It has been told to us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Al Mas'udi] from [Abu 'Aun] from [Al Qasim] that a man asked permission from his heirs to bequeath more than a third of his property. They allowed it, then they withdrew their agreement after the man died. So when [Abdullah] was asked about it, he answered; Cancellation of this agreement is not permitted. (Degree: authentic.
