This book is compiled by Al-Tahawi, and is related to the subject of the Prophet’s hadiths and the forms of performing them. It focuses on the reconciliation between the forms of “we spoke” and “he informed us” in the narration of hadiths, and examines how these forms can lead to a different understanding of the meaning of a single hadith. The book also deals with the ruling on transmitted hadiths and the relationship of the Companions to the revelation that came down to them.
