العواصم من القواصم في تحقيق مواقف الصحابة بعد وفاة النبي هو كتاب من تأليف الحافظ والقاضي أبو بكر بن العربي. يبحث الكاتب مسألة العصمة، فحسب بن العربي، ومن وجهة نظر أهل السنة والجماعة، فالعصمة لا تكون إلا للأنبياء ولكن ذلك لا يعني أن يطعن بأصحاب النبي، فالطعن بأصحاب النبي هو طعن بالنبي ذاته. بسبب الخلاف الدائر بين السنة والشيعة يدافع المؤلف عن الصحابة ويذكر مناقبهم وكراماتهم، فسمى الدعوى «قاصمة» والرد عليها «عاصمة» حتى وصل في ردوده إلى العصر العباسي.
Translation
Al-Awasim Min Al-Qawasim fi Anhqah The Positions of the Companions After the Death of the Prophet is a book written by the Hafiz and Judge Abu Bakr Ibn Al-Arabi. The writer discusses the issue of infallibility, according to Ibn al-Arabi, and from the point of view of the Sunnis and the community, infallibility is only for the prophets, but that does not mean that he should criticize the companions of the Prophet, because attacking the companions of the Prophet is attacking the Prophet himself. Because of the ongoing dispute between Sunnis and Shiites, the author defends the Companions and mentions their virtues and dignity. He called the lawsuit “conclusive” and the response to it “capital,” until he reached in his responses to the Abbasid era.
